Auto news on Youtube Oct 1 2018

hello its Callum from DX Commander now I learned a couple of things today

on my livestream I was just a tank can't respond to all the chat on the live

stream by the way it because you know busy running the pileup or whatever but

one guy said to he was nearly licensed at all my gosh I can't hear half the

things you're hearing or words to that effect

and he couldn't someone's a bit off frequency I intentionally run the rit

control so that less experienced people can actually tune into the voice if you

know what I mean but what I haven't been doing and maybe I should is I just run

the receiver flat out RF gain it you know zero whatever you want to call it

filters fairly wide because the best filter I found is my own head after

you've done a couple of thousand hours running pile ups or contests operating

you will find that your brain itself is better than the rig so a the static the

background static I kind of don't hear it's just it's kind of in the way but

it's a layered thing I suppose the statics in front then you get the voices

so I can do is I can with my own filter I can take the static out and hear the

voice and no amount of rig can do what I want to do yes the TS 9.99 T's got three

different roofing filters all selectable I have it on about average it's a nice

receiver you know hey so Stu 590 okay I only got the 990 because I did a deal

and ended up buying a big radio cuz I've sold something but I would be perfectly

comfortable running to what I was doing this morning on a 990 at 590 it's a

great little receiver in fact you could almost do it but not quite on a tee

s2000 trouble is I get overloaded with stations a couple of kilohertz away

whereas the 990 just kind of you still hear the squeaky squeaky or

grunty grunty depending on which side the QRM is but you know I can put up

with URM because it's the thousands of hours

which just trains you it it becomes sort of whole three-dimensional space

I've got qrm here but I'm listening here so it doesn't matter then what I try and

do is get rid of it for the live stream but if it's just me I often don't care

or just what they go away after a while by the way if you're there for the long

term they normally go away Lee told me that G 0 MTN my first real big stint in

the chair was I ran a station called gb v HQ was the 80 meter station for Great

Britain's entry into some European see hey I are you contest I got a number but

it was about ten years ago and G 0mt endly he was on the live between this

morning actually dropped him before I went to bed and after doing Ritchie for

24 hours and he taught me quite a lot in terms of you know if you just move every

times a bit of qrm then they get the better of you on the other hand if you

dial closer to them and have an argument that doesn't do you any good either a

couple of times I have actually gone a bit closer intentionally thinking to

myself yeah oh I'll piss him off faster than they'll piss me off because I've

got staying power but sometimes they have got staying power so after 20

minutes unlike shift if they've come up because what can happen is the skit can

change you see I don't know if you heard this morning but all of a sudden these

two Russians started talking on 7 1 3 3 was it

no 8 3 it was I just they called each other and started talking it has to be

running 400 watts half a kilohertz away but it may have sail around the corner

from each other I suppose they could have just done their RF gain dialed me

out and and forgotten about me so why do I run my fuck with filters wide open

because I just don't hear the static it's not there for me I don't care about

it my ears are the best filters the Kenwood can't make my evolution made my

ears of my brain and I can just see and I literally see all the audio as a

picture in my head so it's like my vision and my hearing are connected so I

hear a call sign here and there only different spaces the in terms of depth

and width and I could pick them out it's very hard to explain

whereas a new operator will see everything straight down the middle and

it's just a jumble I can separate the jumble out so I can hear that call sign

and then pick that one off that's what I do it somebody on a chat this morning he

said oh I couldn't I couldn't live with all that noise that's very noisy after a

while it's not actually just make sure you don't drive your ears too hard with

the headphones otherwise you'll take your headphones

off in your death I always turn it down as much secara not up as much as I can

make sure to keep turning it down so take my headphones off and not got any

tinnitus running why I'm a drama that's loud so that's why I Drive everything

wide open I hope that's answered some of the the critique from someone who just

didn't you know didn't want to couldn't live with it

alright I can see you next time

WHY DO I USE THE NUMBER 54? - Naska Q&A#4 [English Subtitles] - Duration: 10:32.

Hi everyone! After the Q&A I did back in August

I got so many other questions

so here's a new Q&A, as per your request

you always asked me the questions on facebook, on this post over here,

but many have pointed out that you don't use facebook

so from now on, for the next Q & As,

I will create a post here on youtube where you will ask me the questions

Alessandro Busnelli asks me: "Is a rider born or made? Can you say hello to me in a video?" Hi.

Good questions

both

as I said in many videos, to run you need money,

so you have to be born with the opportunity to run

let's say that talent is useful, but since the mean is so important

you also need the means. So a rider is born and is also made

the two are complementary

otherwise it won't work

gabriele cataldo ask me

how was the theme song of my youtube channel done?

I'll reveal a secret: there's a website

called videohive

but there are many other, where you find templates

theme songs, animations etc

ready-made, you download them and then

with a software called after effects you'll edit them

and adapt them to your needs. It's something they use on TV as well

the theme songs used for many TV shows are purchased from there

so I got it from there and I adapted it

'cause if I had made it myself

I would have taken me a week

while with $30 I saved a week of work

remember: it's better to work

smart rather than hard

gabriele lupi asks me: how do I see myself in ten years?

still riding or doing another job? if one day everything were to end, what would I do?

Can you say hi to me? You're great, I admire you". Thanks, hi!

I have to no idea what to answer you

because two years ago I didn't see myself where I am right now, so...

let's say I hope to still be on the track

and in front of a camera,

this is for sure.

annalisa cavedon asks me where I found that pillow that you see in those videos?

this one?

Francesco Bernoni, a friend of mine, gave it to me,

he's also a motorcycle rider, and I have no idea where he got it from

but I do think I saw it at Ikea. He gave it to me 4 years ago

giorgio de michelis asks me - I'll summarize -

he saw that I graduated in engineering, he would like to study engineering.

on a scale from 1 to 10 how hard and demanding was it,

especially while juggling between all the commitments I had?

is one of those degrees where while you study, you get at a certain point where you feel the neurons frying

you get at the end of the day

where you don't understand a thing anymore

you're totally out. Also because it's not one of those degrees

where you have to learn a series of notions,

but it is one of those degrees where you have to understand very difficult concepts,

so if you have a flair for it

you learn quickly,

and you have a workload

that's less than other more information-based degrees

where you have to study 50 books that are these big

Having said this, after the first 6 months where I couldn't understand a thing

because I had a classical background

the most mathematical thing I had studied was A+B=C ... that's it

the first 6 months were a nigthmare

then, once I understood, I studied, I got at the end of the day with a fried brain

but I learned fast because I liked it, and

I had a flair for IT

consider that the 2nd and 3rd year I basically took 10% of the classes

I studied from home by myself

it's a degree which, if you don't really grasp it,

math, physics, IT,

you go crazy. But if you get them well,

it works.

simone gentile asks me: "it's more expensive to ride with a predators or a track bike?

track bike. it's cheaper with the predators

if you mean track bike as in bike

'cause with pitbikes or minigp and minibikes

then it's cheaper with pitbikes and minigp and minibikes

giordano regazzo asks me:

the fact that I am a youtuber helped me to find the sponsors?

For sure

because sponsors want visibility,

and I give visibility with my youtube channel

what advice would you give to those who want to start but do not have the necessary budget?

find the money.

nothing much to say here. Plus, I see

that many ask me questions on equipment and

software I use to edit videos. Don't worry, in

a few weeks I'll publish a video dedicated to this

Simo Limido asks me what degree I recommend to a boy coming from a scientific high school

who wants to work in the motor sports world?

depends what you wanna do. If you want to be a mechanics you might not even need to go to college,

if you want to be a software engineer you have to study software,

if you want to work on pieces, components, engines,

study mechanics,

depends on what you wanna become

giulio bagnasco asks me what do friends and relatives think about what I do

in my life and the races?

Like I said in the draw my life video, initially

when I dropped out college to pursue my passion they were all against it

because "oh-my-god, you're dropping out of college, giving up a certain future

to

jump into the unknown". And thank god I didn't listen to them

Now they see I'm doing what I like, that I do

quite well, and

they are happy for me

giacomo guidetti asks me how much do you spend for a career in predator formula, and in motorcycle at race attack 1000,

Depends on the level

with you own predators car

you can spend less that €10k for a season

plus the cost for buying a car. in the race attack 1000

it goes from

€10k with your own bike up to

€20-25k with a rented bike

carlo cattaneo asks me: when you run on the track with a team even on low competitions,

you use common petrol or it is processed

same question for the oils

for the gasoline depends on the bike, there are more prepared and performing bikes

that require special gasoline

and other especially the amateur championships where

some put the gas of the distributor. It depends on the bike

regarding the oils I don't know exactly

because that's something the team takes care of.

antonio iovine asks me: are you ever afraid of falling off the bike and getting hurt a lot?

before getting on the bike yes, while I'm onboard

the fear of falling is linked to doing damages

you don't think about getting physically hurt

otherwise you wouldn't be able to race

peppe virgadaula asks me info about the championship in which I run and where you can see the races

I did a video

about this, at the beginning of the year - I've linked it below -

however, I always recommend when you have a question to look first on the youtube channel

and then eventually ask it because

often many things have already been answered in other videos

Luca Bandini asks

I race in the Civ minibikes and I don't know if I should continue with

the minibike or 125, what do you suggest? Depends on what you wanna do

If you want to aim at a career

that makes you grow and let's you run in

a world championship or similar, a Civ superbike or a world championship

you have to keep rising the cylinder capacity

if you run just for fun, do you what you like best

simone sessolo asks me: having a life as a rider youtuber means having little free time

so what do you do during that little free time you have?

I suggest you watch

the weekly vlogs, which are videos about my week

so you can have an idea about what I do

during my free time I play video games,

and I rarely go out for dinner or clubbing,

Giovanni Piepi: if you had to choose between being a world-famous youtuber or racing for fun,

but no one knows you, what would you choose?

I'd chose world-famous youtuber

I'm talking about millions and millions of subscribers,

because I'd mean having lots of money

and afford racing

so by becoming a world-famous youtuber I could also be a rider

so I'd choose that. I could have both things

Gianluca Zito:

why do you train with R3 and not motards?

because the R3 especially driven in the kart track

is much more similar to the race bike I use compared to a motard

oh god

Diego Buompane:

since you probably fuck a lot now, compared to back in the days,

why? It's not true,

let us know which one was your best, where, how, and why you liked it

between races, while editing videos

how can you fuck while editing videos?

It's hard. between races? Never.

because t takes away energy. The best one

there's not one in particular.

a series of them.. but not one in particular

see? I like these questions not related to the motor world.

You should do them more often. Giorgio Cavagnero:

if you ever read this comment could you tell me what it means for you to run and how much have you sacrificed for this?

As you will see from the draw my life video, I left everything for this

what I did, and all that was certain in my life

to pursue my dream of racing,

so it means everything, and the best thing

that I have. So it means a lot

Riccardo Bettoni: why do you

race with the dunlop D212 gpracer

instead of let's say the pirelli supercorsa sp?

because the championship I do is monotire dunlop

so we all have to use the same tires. Andrea Viviani asks:

can you give an advice, I don't race

but I occasionally rent an ohvale or minigp the only flaw

is that before a turn I tend to brake too much, when there's no need for it

how can I overcome this mental barrier?

look for a turn, if there's one, big enough

that has an asphalted escape route

and try to let go of the brakes earlier and go in faster

by entering faster you'll have to lean more

but if you do it in a wide turn, that has a nice escape route

mentally you know that if you get it wrong and go in too fast

you can still do it broad and take the escape route, so that helps you get over it

for example if I have to

force an entrance and go fast I don't do it an

turn where there's no room, I do it in a very wide turn

Mattia Marconi asks me: "

why the number 54?"

because the #54 is the number

I had on the 500 abarth when I won the talent show

and it was just there, on the car they gave me

they were like "here you go, this is gonna be your car #54"

and since I won the talent show

and that victory is what allowed me to be here today

I just had to use that number

so that's why I use the number 54. Great, as usual

thanks for watching this video, if you're not subscribed to the channel

do it now, if you are click on

the bell to activate the notifications

when the video is out, see you at the next Q&A

Why do we have different BLOOD GROUPS? Why Do we need Blood Transfusion? - Duration: 5:01.

Blood Groups and Blood Transfusion Disorders of Blood

WHAT IS BLOOD?

There are various definitions which defines blood.

In simple words it is a RED LIQUID which circulates in arteries and veins humans and other vertebrate

animals, carrying oxygen to and carbon dioxide from the tissues of the body.

Another can be that is a vital principle of life

It is a mechanism of BLOOD in bodies of living organism which can differentiate one individual

from other based on presence or absence of specific antigens in blood…

This system is called BLOOD GROUP There are four blood groups A, B, AB and O

blood groups.

While blood types are 100% genetically inherited, the environment potentially can determine

which blood types in a population will be passed on more frequently to the next generation.

Blood Type A - If the red blood cell has only "A" molecules on it.

Blood Type B - If the red blood cell has only "B" molecules on it.

Blood Type AB - If the red blood cell has a mixture of both "A" & "B" molecules.

Blood Type O - If the red blood cell has neither "A" or "B" molecule.

BLOOD GROUP FACTS: There are eight different common blood types, which are determined by

the presence or absence of certain antigens, which are substances that can trigger an immune

response if they are foreign to the human body.

Since some antigens can trigger a patient's immune system to attack the transfused blood,

safe blood transfusions depend on careful blood typing and cross-matching.

Now the next turn is to know about an interesting factor known as Rh-factor which can be either

present (+) or absent (-). In general, Rh negative blood is given to Rh-negative patients,

and Rh-positive blood or Rh-negative blood may be given to Rh positive patients.

ARE YOU A UNIVERSAL DONOR???

OR UNIVERSAL RECEPIENT???

The universal red cell donor has Type O negative blood type.

The universal plasma donor has Type AB positive blood type.

BLOOD TRANSFUSION: Blood transfusion is a medical term.

It means a procedure used to transfer blood (or some products based on blood) from the

circulatory system of one human to that of another human.

Blood types are very important when a blood transfusion is necessary.

In a blood transfusion, a patient must receive a blood type compatible with his or her own

blood type.

If the blood types are not compatible, red blood cells will clump together, making clots

that can block blood vessels and cause death.

If two different blood types are mixed together, the blood cells may begin to clump together

in the blood vessels, causing a potentially fatal situation.

Therefore, it is important that blood types be matched before blood transfusions take

place.

In an emergency, type O blood can be given because it is most likely to be accepted by

all blood types.

However, there is still a risk involved.

WHY BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS ARE PERFORMED???

Loss of blood during surgery or from an injury or an illness.

An inability to make enough blood.

Some illnesses and treatments can harm the bone marrow's ability to make blood (e.g.,

chemotherapy decreases production of new blood cells).

To prevent complications from an existing blood or bleeding disorder, such as sickle

cell disease, thalassemia, or anaemia caused by kidney disease, haemophilia, or von Willebrand

disease.

Types of Blood donations There are 3 types of blood donations

Autologous Directed donation

Volunteer donation PREPARING FOR A BLOOD DONATION

If your child needs a blood transfusion, the doctor will speak to you about the procedure.

If you have questions, be sure to ask.

When you feel comfortable with the information and your questions have been fully answered,

you will be asked to sign an informed consent form.

This form states that you understand the procedure and its risks, and give your permission for

your child to have the blood transfusion.

If the situation is not a life-threatening emergency, two tests will be done before the

transfusion: Blood typing and Cross-Matching

Why do rappers romanticize death? | Ali Shaheed Muhammad | End Well Symposium - Duration: 2:48.

There are a lot of rappers who sensationalize or romanticize the idea of dying as a way

to maybe immortalize who they were if they can die a magnificent death.

And I think unfortunately the way it comes out is very destructive and not constructive.

And it's one of those things where when people come into my studio, I challenge their

lyrics.

Like, what's your purpose?

What's the end result of these words and this feeling that will live on maybe another

100 years beyond you?

What value do you think they have now?

What value do you think they will have then?

And people who come into my studio with that sort of approach hate when I ask those questions

because it's challenging their artistic whatever.

And this delusion of grandeur given by "I'm an artist."

We're human beings and we're a community.

And these buildings one day will crumble and dust will cover them.

And someone will uncover them and want to know something about their past to understand

how they can move on as a society and grow.

And so to sensationalize and take death for granted in that way is nothing to be learned

from that, other than you guys were foolish in 1990-2017.

So I make it an effort to try and challenge.

And because I'm older, when the 19 year olds come in with that green and I'm fearless

and I don't care about anyone else, and I'm not going to curse here, and the expression

from that perspective, I try to educate them and challenge them in a healthy way so that

they can value life and speak about the idea of dying in a different way.

Why do you want to live? | Tracy Gaudet, MD | End Well Symposium - Duration: 3:22.

We need to stop starting from what's wrong and begin to totally change the conversation

and say what do you want your life for, whether you have a moment or a decade?

What do you want to live for?

What really matters?

And if we started from that place, imagine what could happen.

So because I'm so shy and reserved, I jumped up and I said "Oh I have to say something!"

And as I shared that reflection about this slide in that meeting, a couple months later,

I was in another meeting and a woman came up to me, who has since given me permission

to share her story, and she said "I wanted to introduce myself, I was in the DODVA meeting

with you and you talked about that slide.

That changed my life."

I was like really?

Tell me more.

Well, I have a chronic condition and I have to see my physician every 3 weeks.

And she said I don't enjoy it, it's a pain, but I'm very compliant."

You could just tell she was very type A and she was a very over-achiever in her career.

"So I go and I do it because I'm supposed to."

But I left that meeting and I started thinking I've never asked myself that question.

We don't usually ask ourselves that question until the end of life, as we've been talking

about.

So she said "I started reflecting on what do I want my health for?

Why do I want to live?

And she says "you know what I decided", and this will give you a sense of her personality,

she said "in 3 years, I'm going to turn 50, and I decided I want to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro."

I said "Whoa. Really?"

She said "Yes.

So the next time I went to see my doctor I go in and he says, 'Ok, let's talk about

your labs.'

That's what we do, we talk about your labs.

And she said 'No.

She said 'No, I don't want to talk about my labs.'

He said, excuse me?

That's what we do.

We talk about your labs, we treat your meds, you come back.

She said "Nope.

I want to talk about how you can help me get to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

And this guy was like Whoa.

But kudos to him, after a few moments he recalibrates and he gets her thing.

And she said guess what, Now I cannot wait to go to my doctor's appointments.

She said "Guess what, for years he's been telling me that stress plays a role in my

condition, and for years he's been telling me I should incorporate stress reduction or

meditation and for years I've been telling him, No way, I do!

That's what I do."

She said guess what I do now.

"I meditate an hour every day."

Not so her disease will be better, so she can live the life that she's now identified.

So she can get to the aspiration.

So a couple of years later, I was in a restaurant and she was there and she came running over

to me, I did it I did it, I went to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
