today we are going to see

chicken tikka masala hotel style

for this you have to

take 200 grams chicken

diced square pieces of boneless chicken

ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon

curd 1tablespoon

all this are

for marination of chicken.later we will see the ingredients for gravy

pepper 1/4 teaspoon

kashmir chilli poweder 1/2 teaspoon

chilli poweder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala1/4 teaspoon

cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala powder 1/4 teaspoon

turmeric poweder 1/4 teaspoon

instead of chat masala you can use lime juice 2 to 3 drops

now lets see how to marinate the chicken

put curd

put ginger garlic paste

put all the masalas

put salt as per taste

mix well

keep it aside for atleast one hour

or refrigirate for 2 to 3 hour

put 1 teaspoon oil

mix well

ingredients for gravy

chopped big onion 1 number nicely chopped

bell pepper 1/2 diced

tomatoes 2 big size

cashew 5 to 6

ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon

turmeric 1/4 teaspoon

garam masala 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon

kashmir chilli powder 1 teaspoon

coriander powder 1 teaspoon

kasuri methi-little

if you don't have kashmir chilli powder

you can add normal chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

grind tomatoes and cashews nicely

put 1/2 table spoon oil and 1/2 table spoon ghee

you can use butter instead

put 1 cinnamon stick 3 cardamom and 1 bay leaf

put onion

fry till golden brown

put some salt

it will help the onions to fry faster

onions are golden fried

now put ginger garlic paste

fry till raw smell disappears

now put turmeric powder

cumin powder

kashmir chilli powder and coriander powder

simmer the flame

and fry well

now add the tomato cashew paste

fry till raw smell disappears and till the oil seperates

let's grill the chicken now

take a grill tray like this

you can use skewers instead

or you can use a tawa to grill the chicken

if you have an oven you can grill in the oven

apply some oil on the grill tray as the chicken not stick to it

now spread the chicken pieces over the grill tray

switch on the fire

keep the grill tray over the flame

apply some oil over the chicken

turn the grilled pieces the other side

now the chicken got grilled nicely both the sides

this is chicken tikka you can have this like this with onions and bell peppers

shred the chicken pieces or

you can put as it is also

the gravy has cooked well and oil also seperated

put salt as per taste

now add the shreded chicken to the gravy

add some water to your desired consistancy

cook for another 2 minutes with the lid closed

after 2 minutes

add the diced bell peppers

put the garam masala

put the crushed kasuri methi

kasuri methi is nothing but dried fenugreek leaves

now close the lid for another 1 minute

after 1 minute

garnish with coriander leaves

garnish with coriander leaves

our chicken tikka masala is ready

chicken tikka masala is now ready to serve enjoy with roties and all indian breads

Taste of liberty New York restaurant serves up refugees dishes from home US news

Emma's Torch teaches those fleeing persecution skills for a career in the kitchen – and lets them show off their culinary culture

Emma's Torch teaches those fleeing persecution skills for a career in the kitchen – and lets them show off their culinary culture

Culinary adventures are woven into the fabric of New York City. But in Brooklyn one December night, only one restaurant could offer a five-course meal that began with salmon cake and couscous from Mali and ended with an Iraqi dessert, including in between dishes from Honduras and China.

The restaurant is Emma's Torch, a non-profit that teaches refugees, asylum seekers and survivors of trafficking the culinary and communication skills needed for a career in the kitchen. Six days a week, diners are offered a menu described as: "New American cuisine – prepared by our new American students."

The restaurant began as a pop-up last year before expanding this summer into a bright, airy restaurant known for its earthy black-eyed pea hummus garnished with dried chillies. The New Yorker food critic, Hannah Goldfield, touted their "perfect shakshuka" served during weekend brunch service in her August review of the restaurant.

In 2019, they will open a second space at Brooklyn Public Library.

Emma's Torch is named for Emma Lazarus, the poet whose words are inscribed on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."

On one night each month, Emma's Torch is also the site of a graduation dinner that showcases the flavors of students' homes, such as the lotus root dyed pink with dragon fruit sauce that was prepared by a Chinese student for the second course of the December dinner.

Before the first course was served, as the clock ticked down, the restaurant's founder, Kerry Brodie, spoke over the sounds of sizzling pans.

"There is an incredible amount of value of welcoming in refugees," she said, "and it benefits us from an economic perspective, it benefits us in terms of flavors and cuisines."

In an eight-week, paid apprenticeship, trainees learn how to properly use knives to slice, dice and chop. They also take English classes and participate in mock job interviews. They receive 400 hours of culinary training and are paid $15 an hour for their work at the restaurant and on catered events. In 2017, every graduate was placed in a culinary job.

"The level of training we can provide our students is unparalleled," Brodie said, "because by the time they are graduating and we are helping them secure a job, they know what it is like to work in a restaurant and they are ready to take on new jobs and, more importantly, to begin new careers."

On the day of the December dinner, one of the four trainees in the graduating class was nervous. After concluding her meal prep, however, her nerves gave way to high spirits, even as she described the dangerous circumstances that led her from Baghdad to Brooklyn.

Aya fled Iraq two years ago, fearing persecution because her husband was a professor. Violence against academics became common after the US-led invasion in 2003; the couple were being threatened for her husband's refusal to obey militias. Aya asked for her real name not to be used in this piece, because she feared for the safety of family members still in Iraq.

Granted refugee status, Aya arrived in the US in January 2016. She studied computer programming for two years but that gave way to cooking, as her efforts were praised by teachers and friends.

"One day," she said, "my teacher said: 'Why don't you open your own restaurant because your dishes and recipes are delicious.'"

Aya thought her teacher was joking but the praise kept coming, especially from her husband. He had always adored her cooking, she said, refusing to order in restaurants food that she could make at home, because it could not possibly be as good.

In Iraq, she could buy their favorite foods cheaply and easily. In the US, she had to craft meals from start to finish, scouring markets for Arab ingredients.

"It is very hard to find Iraqi food here," she said. "I depend on everything myself."

But as Aya kept friends, family and teachers happy with her meals from home, it was clear her future lay in cooking, not computers. The refugee agency Hias connected her with Emma's Torch.

At the graduation dinner, the self-reliance that helped Aya make prized Iraqi meals nearly 6,000 miles from home was threaded into her dishes. A relative, for example, had visited and brought a common ingredient: black lemon, which is actually dried lime. For the fourth course of the dinner, Aya mixed it with raisin, almonds, yellow rice and fried fish.

With two months of culinary training under her belt and the support of Emma's Torch, Aya is now searching for a job.

"The whole time they are here, we talk about what they want for their careers, what they think is going to benefit them long term and what we can do to support them," Brodie said. "So that's why by the time they graduate, it's still an intimidating process, but they know they have us in their corner."

In this video I want to talk about why I am learning Russian and what is hard about learning this language

I started to learning Russian a year and a half ago and I also come back from my first trip in Russia

Right now I just visited Saint-petersburg and Moscow

When I was in Russia, I don't know why but a lot of people asked me "why do you learn Russian language ?"

I don't know why but it sounded a little bit funny to me, like Russians could not understand why a foreigner would study Russian language

Like I should be strange to learn Russian or I don't know

But honestly I was curious about Russian alphabet, and then I just studied studied studied...

I also wanted to understand russian culture

But at first of course everything was terrible because I had to learn how to read and writte again like a child

And that's not a good sensation

However in 2 weeks I could read and writte the Russian alphabet

And then I met Russian cases, and what a wonderful meeting!

For example just the word "kot" (cat) *say 46910 cases*

By the way I hate this sound, I don't know it's very hard me

And anyway there are 6 cases in Russian

I almost passed out while studying them

To study Russian, I think it's like studying mathematic

Because it's like an algorithm, if you have this situation, it will be this case

But just a basic sentence like "she has no bottle of wine in her bag"

There are only 2 cases but it's already very hard to me because as you may know there are no cases in French

And it's the first time I am learning a language with cases and this is very hard

Fortunatly, there are only 3 tenses in Russian unlike in French or in English

But I think Russian is a very beautiful and melodic language

And when I was in Russia I thought Russian people were so kind

And Russian language also gave me confidence with languages

Everybody does and I want to talk about my everyday carry system

But specifically why I carry a knife and a flashlight everyday

like my benchmade bug out and my Fenix PD25

These are the two most common pieces of everyday carry gear aside from my wallet and my keys and my cell phone

That I carry every single day. So why do I carry a knife in a flashlight everyday?

What's the purpose? the first thing I want to talk about is why carry a knife. now

there was a point even in the recent few years that I

Didn't carry a knife everyday and it wasn't until I started

thinking of the mindset of

Self-defense and wanting to be a concealed carry holder. I

started to think

Man, I really could benefit from carrying a knife every day. So I

invested in the mini griptilian as the very first blade

That I purchased with the mindset of having as an everyday carry item

I carried this for a long time and I haven't had it in my pocket for a long time

and for the reason of as I become more educated with knives and

Understand the use of them and how my personal needs

Etc have changed my desire for different types of blades this sheepsfoot

Style with the serrated edge is just not a blade that I really enjoy carrying I have resulted in

It is like a knife is a tool and having it on you every day

in fact, I asked a couple of my friends that share kind of the same mindset as me and I said

why do you carry a knife every day and all of them said and I have heard from several people that I

It's great to have something that's reliable and nice to have with you all the time

Just the most important thing about this is that the knife is a tool

Then I've got to the right tool for that need as well as a chef

For example a chef is not going to use just some random knife off the off the street

they're gonna use a blade that's specific for

Their needs as a chef or food prep and all of the things that a chef would do

Same thing applies to an everyday carry blade if I've got

Various different types of options and it's all going to come down to personal preference

the tool that I choose to use in my pocket for everyday carry needs is going to

Be dependent on my lifestyle. So if I need a fixed blade option like this one here

And the the reason that you would carry a light is really going to be dependent on your lifestyle

What type of work are you doing, or is it just to have something in your pocket?

For those simple times where I just want something really small lightweight easy to access

That will give me a little bit of extra light that my cellphone flashlight doesn't provide for me

So the night the light that I carry

It doesn't take up a lot of space in my pocket. It's lightweight and it

But carrying these tools in your pocket just a really really convenient thing and I think it's important and for me

it's changed how I approach my day and just having those tools in my pocket at the ready at any time is

Why Do People Think The Earth Is Flat? - Duration: 5:36.

Members of the flat earth society, believe that our earth is not a sphere, but is in

fact a flat disc.

The flat earth has been debunked time and time again, but still, many flat earthers

persist with their views.

Have you ever wondered why flat earth theorists think the earth is flat?

I mean, they have to believe it for a reason, and some of them believe it so wholeheartedly

that they are willing to argue with you about it for hours on end.

So why do some people think the earth is flat?

That's the question we're asking, right now on life's biggest questions.

Hello and welcome back to life's biggest questions, the channel that asks the fundamental

Basketball star kyrie irving declared that the earth was flat in a podcast, and this

resulted in a host of middle schoolers believing it too.

Then there's people who take the theory to the extreme, like mad mike hughes, who

tried to launch himself into the atmosphere in a homemade rocket, and gained international

attention.

The flat earth society grows by about 200 people a year since 2009.

And that just includes the people who are a part of the society.

Judging by how popular flat earth videos are on youtube, I would imagine that the number

of people who are looking into the idea of a flat earth is actually much, much higher.

So why question the shapely nature of our earth?

Flat earthers believe that the earth is actually disc shaped, the arctic circle is in the middle

of the disc, an the disc is surrounded by a 150 foot tall wall of ice around the rim,

known to us as antartica.

The disk is guarded by nasa, to keep people from climbing to the top and falling off the

edge of the earth.

Flat earther's believe that the sun shines down on our earth like a spotlight on different

areas on the planet at different times.

Some flat earthers think that theres also an invisible anti moon that hides the moon

during our lunar eclipses.

When you walk around, and you look at the horizon, the earth feels and looks flat.

Flat earthers use this as evidence to back up the claim that the earth is not round,

because if it were round, we would be able to at least see the curve.

People who believe in the flat earth say that all satellite images of the earth that show

it as a sphere, are faked photographs.

The photo graphs aren't only faked, they are evidence of a round earth conspiracy,

where world governments and nasa are hiding the true nature of our earth from us.

Most flat earther's get their information from the internet, and from youtube videos.

The internet allows for the fast spread of conspiracy theories.

Some have them have done testing of their own to measure the cuvature, and they cant

detect it.

To add more fuel to the fire, one of the most recognizable astrophysicists in the world,

neil degrasse Tyson, failed to prove that the earth wasn't flat in an episode of his

show, startalk.

He said that we have videos of the spherical earth from space, well flat earthers say that

those videos are faked.

He said the greeks knew the earth was round a thousand years before columbus, flat earthers

say that the ancient greeks weren't advanced anough to understand the flat earth theory,

Sink ships beneath the horizon?

Yeah, optical illusion.

The flat earth conspiracy theory is special, in that it resists all attempts to disprove

it.

If you happen to find an inconsistency in the theory, a flat earther will find a way

to disprove your inconsistency.

But theres definitely a deeper reason as to why people believe in a flat earth, and that

has a lot to do with psychology.

According to Karen Douglas, a psychologist at the University of Kent that studies the

psychology of conspiracy theories.

All conspiracy theories share a basic thrust, they present an alternative theory about an

important issue r event, and construct a vague explanation for why someone is covering up

that true version of events.

The power in the conspiracy lies in the fact that they are vague, and that they give people

a sense of security, control and comfort that they don't otherwise have.

They gather in forums, online communities and at conventions to talk about their beliefs,

and the flat earth society gives them a sense of community.

When it comes to science, we have seen that the current understandings of the day can

be rejected as time goes on.

For example, it was the norm to believe that the earth was the center of our solar system,

not the sun, but as science progressed, we found out that the earth, in fact, orbits

the sun.

Copernicus declared it in 1543 as part of his radical theory of the universe.

It wasn't accepted at the time, in fact, Italian scientist Giordano Bruno was burned

at the stake for teaching copernicus' heliocentric view of the universe.

The logic here is, if we were wrong about that, maybe we could be wrong about the shape

of our earth.

But what many people don't realize, is that many flat earthers say the earth is flat,

but don't actually believe it.

As in, its just one huge joke, or a way to get attention.

In case you need a reminder, the earth isn't flat.

Physics dictates that all planets, and exoplanets are spherical.

Celestial bodies that have substantial mass are moulded into a sphere due to gravity,

which pulls objects toward the gravitational center of mass.

Now that that's settled, i'm going to wrap up this video with some comment replies.

So, you've been hurt in the course of your employment and now all of a sudden the employer

is telling you that you need to go and take this test with a doctor.

Well the reason for that is because what they're trying to determine is whether or not you

can come back and do your job.

That test is what's called a fit for duty or a functional capacity exam.

What that's going to do is it's going to ask you to go through certain number of exercises

and movements to determine how much you may be able to lift, how much you'll be able to

push, how much you can walk, things of that nature.

And all of those things are being measured in order to determine whether or not you come

back and do your job.

The reason that the employer is using this is potentially for a tool to cut off benefits

or even worse, indicate that you can't go back and do your job.

So it's important to make sure that if you're taking that test that you perform to the maximum

effort that you can do and if not, to contact your attorney and make sure that you're telling

them that this is going on.

Why do we procrastinate? The 3 reasons & how to stop (Step 2 - The Quickest Fix ) - Duration: 8:17.

Hi I'm Hattie Voelcker and welcome to Step 3 of my three-stage vlog on "Why do we

procrastinate? - The 3 reasons and how to stop!" Today I'm going to be looking at

the quickest fix to procrastination. People often underestimate the impact

the language they use with themselves has on how they feel. As in step 2, I

talked about how, when we're putting something off, we have a tendency to use

the language Should Must Ought Got or Need to try and get ourselves moving on

that task. So for example "I really should practice" "I really need to prepare for

that next task I'm doing" "I really need to get my kitchen tidy" (if you're me!)

The trouble is this, as I said in step 2, this makes us feel, and therefore react,

like children. So even if we do do it, we do it reluctantly, but there is this huge

tendency to then procrastinate, to put it off - either because we feel vulnerable or

we're worried about failing, or we just feel rebellious and don't like being

told what to do; and in addition there's no reward for doing the stuff we

should or we ought. "You did what you ought to have done, you did what you

needed - big wow!" So it's there's no carrot, it's all stick and that stick is the

stick of shame because if you don't do something you should, then really you

failed and you should be ashamed of yourself. Instead what we can do is think

about what we want to achieve, ask ourselves why is it we're telling

ourselves we should do this, why do we feel we should do that or we ought to do

that, we need to do that. What is it that we want to achieve by doing that? As soon

as we start doing that we start to focus on our goals which is much more positive

because our goals are always things that we want to achieve! So what is your goal,

what is it you really want to achieve and why is it you feel that you ought to

do the thing that you're telling yourself you should do? When you start to

establish what it is, that gives you the

capacity to start to change your language, which is part and parcel of

changing how you feel about the task. If instead of talking about what you should

do you start talking about what you want to achieve, or what you'd like to do, or

love to feel, or enjoy having, then it puts a positive slant on the whole thing

and these are what I call WELL words. Want, Enjoy, Like, and Love. They're

positive words that help us focus on the positive involved. For example if it's

about preparing and you say "Well I really need to prepare" and you ask

yourself the question "Okay, why do I need to prepare? Well I need to prepare

because I'm worried about remembering all my words. Well what is it you

want? I want to remember all my words." So then you can focus the task. "I want to

prepare because I want to remember all my words" and

you then have the task you're doing to achieve a positive which feels more

empowering a more optimistic, and less likely that you're going to put off. So

if you can exchange your SMOG words for your WELL words you can start to feel

more optimistic about your goals. Sometimes the goal can be a little bit

far away for you to for the feeling of what wanting that goal to be strong

enough to pull you along, and there may be several steps you have to take before

you get to that goal. For some other people sometimes focusing on what we

want, enjoy, like, or love can feel hedonistic. You can feel self-indulgent

and so they find it hard to use WELL words. When this is the case you can use

what I call WISE words, what would it be Wise, Intelligent Sensible or

Effective for you to do at this stage?

Unlike SMOG words where there's no reward,

there's no carrot at the end, when you look at WISE words they are

aspirational words and therefore there is a carrot at the

end. If you do something wise then what does that say about you? Kind of says

you're wise. If you do something intelligent, same thing. Sensible,

Effective, they're all things that if we do tasks that we consider wise,

intelligent, sensible, or effective we feel good about ourselves at the end. So

if we take ourselves back to the psychology of this with both WELL words

and WISE words, if we start to ask ourselves what we want or what we think

would be intelligent or sensible to do we're starting to treat ourselves like

adults and that gives us the capacity to

respond as adults. We're starting to ask our own opinion and trust that opinion

so you're not telling yourself what to do, you're not saying "You must do this,

you should do that." You're giving yourself

options and this allows you to respond in Adult, to make the wise decision that

you've always been capable of but you just didn't trust yourself to. It changes

your focus from feeling like a vulnerable child, overwhelmed by the

things you feel you should do, to a grown-up capable of making wise

decisions and being in control of those decisions. It empowers you which feels

good and, just as with children, if you give yourself responsibility you're much

more likely to step up to the mark, step up to that responsibility and make the

wise decisions and do the things that are wise to do in order to achieve your

goals. If you'd like to understand a little bit more about this technique

meantime focus your attention on what it is you want to achieve and why you want

to achieve that. Trust yourself to be wise enough to take the steps necessary

to achieve your goals without to treating yourself like a child. Let go

of the SMOG language and replace it with the more positive language of WISE

and WELL and then see what you achieve by doing this. I think you'll be

surprised. I have one last piece of advice for you but before that I hope

child inside, and you may have already started to procrastinate without

realising it yet. If this is the case then you can go back to step one and ask

yourself the question: "What's that about? What is going on for me that is making

it hard for me to do this thing?" You may be surprised by the answer you give

Why Would Anyone Integrate A VW Touran Into A Canal Boat Stern? - Duration: 1:26.

Say you own a VW Touran that you never get to use anymore, and a narrow canal boat

Would you connect the dots and find a way to "install" the MPV at the boat's stern? Probably not, but one person did

The image was uploaded to Reddit recently by someone with the username iledoffard, who later specified that the boat was found on the Grand Union canal in the UK

All things considered, it's a pretty fascinating idea as it begs the question why somebody would do this to their boat – does it suit any practical needs? If the interior was stripped, then you could probably use it for increased visibility during cold months

Here's another interesting thought: If the owner of the boat actually uses the Touran body as a steering deck, that would be pretty impressive, but without any additional information, we can only speculate as to what potential benefits such a mod could bring

What we can tell you for certain is that this is quite weird, and maybe that's all there is to it; someone though it was a nice idea and that's that

The celebration sees tens of thousands of people take to the streets in Scotland with parties carrying on well into New Year's Day.

But what is it? Why is it called Hogmanay?

Here's what we know about Hogmanay and how it is celebrated.

What is Hogmanay?

The annual event in Scotland to welcome the New Year. It takes place over a few days, with the main event on NYE.

The party carries on into January 1 and 2 - both are Bank Holidays in Scotland.

Where Hogmany began is unknown, though some think it was the Vikings, who invaded Scotland in the 8-9th century.

Where does the word Hogmanay come from?

Defined as December 31 or New Year's Eve or 'the last day of the year' in the Dictionary of the Scots Language (yep, we didn't know there was such a thing either).

The etymology of the word is up for debate.

Some think it's French, others think it's Anglo-Saxon.

"The name could come from the Anglo-Saxon 'haleg monath' meaning holy month," Dr Donna Heddle, director of the Institute for Northern Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands, told the BBC . "But the most likely source seems to be French. In Normandy presents given at Hogmanay were 'hoguignetes'."

After Mary Queen of Scots returned to Scotland it's thought the word became more widespread - she had been in France in 1561.

Has anyone ever told you that you can rank

both on Google and YouTube,

and get double the amount of search traffic?

It's not always double, but it's a lot more search traffic

than you're getting right now.

Hi everyone, I'm Neil Patel,

and today I'm going to share with you

the difference on ranking on Google and YouTube.

(harmonious music)

Before I get started,

make sure you subscribe to this channel.

Follow, subscribe, whatever it may be,

that way when I give more marketing advice like this,

you'll get notified.

The first difference for you is

Google SEO takes a lot longer than YouTube SEO.

Did you know on YouTube SEO, that if you're gonna rank

you typically rank in the first 24 to 48 hours?

And which when a video does extremely well

in the first day on YouTube,

it does well for the life of the video.

On Google, on the other hand,

if you create a web page or you create a brand new website,

and you optimize it,

you're not gonna get ranking on day one.

You're lucky if you get rankings

in the first three to six months,

it typically takes over a year before you see results.

So the big difference is YouTube, first 24 hours

determines how the video is going to do in the long run.

With Google, what happens in the first year

determines how its going to do in the long run.

The second difference I have for you is authority.

How many of you actually knew that

both YouTube and Google look at authority?

If you knew that, just leave a comment below with yes.

But there's a difference.

With Google, the more authoritative your site is

the more you rank for everything.

YouTube is very similar, but the difference is

your authority in YouTube fluctuates month-over-month.

With Google, if you build links,

you'll continually keep climbing in authority.

Doesn't always mean you're gonna get more search traffic,

it just means over time, year-over-year,

you should in theory do better.

With YouTube, one month you could have amazing authority

and just crush it, but the next month if you release

seven videos and they're all duds and no one likes em,

your authority drastically tanks

and all your videos don't do as well,

compared to what they were performing before.

So with YouTube, you have to continually fight

and keep that authority and redoing everything,

in which you have to keep creating new amazing content,

you have to keep creating amazing engagement,

without that your authority just keeps dying.

But with Google, it keeps going up as you build more links.

The third difference is Google and YouTube

look at two totally different factors

to really determine rankings.

Google looks at links.

The more websites that link to your website,

the better off you're gonna do.

If you don't know how to build links,

the first thing you wanna do

is go find all the people that link to your competitors

and ask em to link to you.

You can use ahrefs.

They have a tool, or technically ahrefs is a tool

but they have a feature, more-or-so within ahrefs,

called Link Intersect.

You can put in your top three competitors and your domain,

and it'll show you all the people that link

to your top three competitors that don't link to you.

This is important because if you reach out to a site

that only links to one of your hundred competitors,

it's really hard to convince em to link to you.

But if you find a site that links to three

of your major competitors, you know at that point

that they're open to linking to you as well.

So you wanna reach out to all of the people

that link to your competitors.

With YouTube, it's all about engagement,

it's not about links.

The longer the watch time,

not just the watch time on your video,

but all the other videos on YouTube,

in which if someone watches a video from your channel

and then watches some other random person's video,

that helps counter your video's score.

So the more engagement you create on YouTube,

the better off you are.

That's why you wanna tell people to like, comment, share,

just like I'm telling you

make sure you subscribe to this channel,

like the videos, comment, it all helps.

And similar to number three,

number four is all about engagement.

Both YouTube and Google love engagement,

but the engagement is different.

With Google, they're looking at how many people

perform a search, click over to your site,

and stay and click over to other pages

versus bouncing back and clicking the back button

and going to the next listing in Google.

If people stay on your site, it tells Google that

hey, they may have found what they're looking for.

With YouTube, engagement isn't measured by bouncing,

it's measured by view time, comments, likes, even dislikes.

Yes, you may not want dislikes, but it still is engagement.

YouTube wants those kind of signals

versus Google wants people to stick around

on your website and not hit the back button.

With YouTube, if someone watches your video

and then they watch someone else's video,

and then another random person's video, it still helps you.

With Google, if someone's on your website,

bounces back and goes to someone else's site after,

that definitely doesn't help you.

And as for the last difference,

well YouTube is easy to rank for, and Google is hard.

In which, anytime you create content or a site,

it'll take you three, six months, a year,

and I know I'm giving you a lot of ranges

with how long it takes to get results on Google,

but that's because some industries

are more competitive than others, but on YouTube

you can see results in the first 30 days, I kid you not.

It's wide open, especially in the English market

or even outside of the United States,

it really is wide open.

I know there's tons of videos on YouTube,

probably over a billion, but trust me, it's wide open.

If you guys started leveraging YouTube right now,

I bet you if you were about to create a brand new website,

and a brand new YouTube channel,

you're more likely to get more search traffic from YouTube

over the next two years than you are from your own website.
