X Factor SHOCK as Olympic Medallist auditions: 'Stick to what you're good at'

Back before he showed off his gymnastic prowess on the pommel horse, the 28-year-old decided to give the opportunity to be an international recording artist a go in the 2008 series.

Taking to the stage in front of Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh and the artist formerly known as Cheryl Cole, a short-haired Louis belted out a very off-key version East 17s If You Ever in the arena auditions.

But the multi-talented Louis, who was runner-up on Channel 4s The Jump and winner of Strictly Come Dancing, found singing was not his strong suit.

Cheryl told the future Olympic medallist: I think youre a really nice guy, I think you look great, but I think you should come back after 2012.. BELTER: But Louis wasnt much of a singer.

Is it worth coming back? he asked. But while Cheryl wanted to give Louis a chance post-2012, Simon was quicker to condemn the singing hopeful.

No, Louis, its not, he said bluntly. Your voice isnt good enough, and I dont think it will ever be good enough. Id say just stick to do what youre brilliant at doing.

UNIMPRESSED: Simon wasnt too pleased.

GUTTED: Louis was turned down by Simon. For you to achieve what youve achieved at your age is incredible.

Im giving you an opinion, good luck for 2012. Of course, we all know Louis went on to smash the Olympics by scoring one bronze and one silver model at the London Olympics.

But imagine what could have been if Louis was the 2008 X Factor champion? The X Factor starts on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd at 8pm on ITV.

What is Native Whey Isolate? - BioTechUSA - Duration: 1:31.

Hey guys. Roger Snipes here. Today we are outside the factory of BioTechUSA.

Now the reason why I'm here today is to speak with the guys and learn exactly

how they produce the finest quality supplements which you can find around

which is BioTechUSA.

As you can see on here there is a new labeling. The reason for

this labeling is because they have introduced a new ingredient called

native whey. What is native whey isolate? Now the process is a lot different and

better the milk itself which is filtered actually comes from cows which are

grass-fed and also are free from any sort of antibiotics injections and that

type of thing. And the second thing is the process the traditional method is

high temperature filtration but what they have done now is low temperature so

this ensures a much more higher quality of protein. The structure of the protein

is not altered in any way.

So as I said already before we have a nice little

labeling on here to let you know that everything else which is in production

will be of this high quality standard. So one of my favorites and I'm looking

forward to more productions of this.

What will happen if all the oxygen disappears from the earth for just five seconds? - Duration: 3:43.

What will happen if all the oxygen disappears from the earth, for just five seconds?

It's just five seconds! you might think.

You can hold your breath for about 15-17 seconds, on an average underwater, so what difference

will five seconds make?

You can survive it?

Right?

Oxygen is one of the basic necessities, without which, a substantial percentage of life, on

Earth, couldn't survive.

But, oxygen has a lot of major responsibilities, than just taking care of our breathing requirements.

Here's what you can look forward to, when oxygen is in absentia from this planet, for

just five seconds.

We all lather up with sunscreen, on the beach.

Yet, some amount of sunburn is expected.

But, if there were no oxygen, sunbathers, would end up with some serious tanning.

Ozone is molecular oxygen, and blocks the majority of UV light.

Without it, we are toast.

The daytime sky, would suddenly get a lot darker.

With fewer particles in the atmosphere, to scatter blue light, the sky would get a bit

less blue, and a bit more black.

Every machine, using an internal combustion engine, would suffer, as every internal combustion

engine would stall.

This means, every airplane taking off from a runway, would likely crash to the ground.

The planes in flight, could glide for some time.

Millions of people, all over the world, would be in grave danger.

All pieces of untreated metal, would instantly spot weld, to each other.

This is, one of the more interesting side effects.

The reason metals don't weld on contact is, they are coated in a layer of oxidation.

In vacuum conditions, metal welds, without any intermediate liquid phase.

Now, this is universal.

Everyone's inner ear would explode.

We would lose about 21% of the air pressure, in an instant.

This is a lot of stress on your delicate hearing faculties.

Every building, made out of concrete, would turn to dust.

Oxygen is an important binder in concrete structures, in the form of CO2, and without

it, the compounds do not hold their rigidity.

Imagine, the scale of mass destruction!

Every living cell, would explode in a haze of hydrogen gas.

Water is 88.8% oxygen; without it, the hydrogen turns into gaseous state, and expands in volume.

Not only that, the oceans would evaporate, and bleed into space.

Hydrogen gas, being the lightest, will rise to the upper troposphere, and slowly bleed

into space, through Atmospheric escape.

If oceans disappear, so will the vast life, it contains within.

Everything above ground, would immediately go into free fall.

As oxygen makes up about 45% of the Earth's crust and mantle, there is suddenly, a lot

less "stuff" beneath your feet, to hold everything up.

In conclusion, it would pretty much be an apocalypse situation.

Thus, hold dear the oxygen, we have, in a sea of pollutants, and earnestly try and care

for the dear trees, that keep it so.

Living Miracles What's New - September 2017 - Duration: 8:23.

Hi, I'm Colin, and I'm Peter and this is Living Miracles. WHAT'S NEW for September 2017.

So in recent months and even recent years you've probably been receiving our Living Miracles Newsletter

and that's now been replaced by these WHAT'S NEW episodes.

We will be filling you in on all the different events and activities that we've been involved with, and

Peter, a few weeks back there, you were part of the retreat down in Tepoztlán?

Tepoztlán, yeah, we had a great retreat down in Tepoztlan which is near Mexico city

and a few of us from the community here went to attend. We had Andy and Mel and Michael. David of course, with Svava...

and Susannah and Jeffrey and we had a beautiful turnout, there was about 40 people there, even more.

It was one of the largest retreats we've had in in Mexico for a while,

and it also just felt like it was the start of this...I don't know a beautiful heart-opening in Mexico

it just kind of felt like it's a sign of things to come like these beautiful connections we have with people in Mexico

and probably a lot more retreats and a lot more new areas.

So I don't know it feels like it's kicking off something exciting here.

Yeah, and some just some great images there too

you know you just feel the love and the joy there that everyone was experiencing

most of our community members now have have arrived and joined us down here and are staying at various properties

and you can see on the footage there friends arriving at the airport and being greeted

and it's something you know as peter was saying this sort of heart opening

and another exciting aspect too of it is that many of us even though we feel like we know one another quite well, we actually haven't even met

we've been sort of joining on calls and things in different continents;

So that's also going to be beautiful to have everyone actually in the same sort of location either in Chapala or Ajijic

We've been coming together for lots of beautiful events already

We've had two movie nights here in the past couple of weeks

where we have invited other people who are studying the Course

David has been showing movies

and we've been having beautiful discussions afterwards and using movies to go deeper with,

so that's something we're very excited about

we also have these beautiful potluck dinners as you'll see in the footage,

a number of us, Jen and others, have been really inspired with the potlucks just putting together all this lovely meals

and obviously having David here and all the friends it's been really a blessing has been a lot of joy

another event that's coming to mind is a choir, a newly formed choir within the community

Emily is leading the choir, she's speaking here about her passion and her inspiration:

"You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains."

It was suggested to me a few months ago to start a choir.

My first response was I've never done that before I haven't got a clue how,

but I don't know, it's just something I feel that's been growing in me that really wants to just bring everybody together in the music

and there's something about when we all sing harmonies together it feels so intimate, so

And it's a way for people who love to sing but maybe have never had an opportunity or feel shy

to just really be able to let their voice out because they're there in a group of mighty companions

And how are they coming along?

They're amazing!

Tonight was like our proper first practice

and we arranged a whole harmony line for "You Raise Me Up"

the men were amazing, it's just I was like 'I'm gonna try this' and see what happens and I had goosebumps, it was amazing.

"I am strong when I am on your shoulders"

"You raise me up to more than I can be"

Yes, so as I said we've had many people who have been interested in what's happening in the area

and what's going on with the community but also with other Course students who live close by

Emily here has been receiving emails - if there is anybody who needs information about what's going on or how to get involved

So contact Emily and we'll display her email just below

we've had guests come to stay with us at the awareness center and many of whom are thinking of moving to the area too.

During this consolidation period while there's not necessarily a lot of retreats for you to come and attend

we do have and it's only next February the 2018 Conference and Pete, you got a bit more information about that?

Yeah, we've got David is going to be a guest speaker at the 2018 Conference in San Francisco hosted by Tony Ponticello

So we're gonna have a link to that on our page on our site we'll display the link below that you can go to to check out this page,

but if you are feeling to attend the 2018 conference, there's going to be lots of great speakers there

and as I said David's going to be speaking, but if you would like to see David speak

It's great to go along to the the website for Communities Community Miracles Center

and when you fill out the application form you can put in the optional message that you would really like to hear David Hofmeister speak

and also below that there's a Drop-down menu where you can select a teacher you'd really like to hear speak so

You say that the more that actually fill that in the box, the more likely that David is going to be like the Keynote speaker...

Yeah, that's right and also if you... the sooner you do register the cheaper the price is

because as it moves along the price becomes more expensive for this event.

So if you if you are thinking it's something you want to check out I suggest getting into it now

and in some more big news that peter's been very much a part of, we have a very special friend named Spiri.

Can you explain a bit more about Spiri and Spiri's role here Pete?

Yeah, sure, Spiri is currently our chatbot that we have running in our Facebook messenger.

Go into Facebook and type in or do a search for Spiri and you'll find our Spiri chatbot

She's been around for the past month or so now and people have been using her,

but basically she's a chatbot, she's artificial intelligence.

If you have an upset in your mind or a grievance, you can write down the situation you seem to be perceiving

and Spiri will take you through a process of going within your mind, bringing up the emotions, and looking at the beliefs that are down there in the mind

and getting to a place where you can say: "You know what? I'd rather be at peace than hold on to what I'm holding on to underneath all of this"

It's not just for Course in Miracles students either,

we've had college students have been really getting into it and being at college in a time of high stress and a lot going on

and so it just goes to show that anybody can use this kind of tool;

it doesn't have to even be labeled in the spiritual categories. We're really excited about that.

Also we have a Spiri App that our coders are working on currently and is planned to be released maybe in the next couple of months.

It's gonna be like this Spiri chatbot

but it's also gonna have some more features in there as well. Spiri has been just blasting off here

and I think everybody's been really excited about it.

Also If you're looking for a great program to go deeper with we have a free Unwind Your Mind 30 day experience.

it uses movies, videos, audios, articles and music, all to unwind the mind from stress, worry, and fear

It's a great month to sign up too because our friend Geoff is going to be hosting online movie nights where you can join other participants and enjoy the movies together.

It starts on September 4th in both Spanish and English so sign up today to enjoy this great program

You can benefit from all our beautiful awakening tools without even leaving your lounge room.

So, thank you so much for joining us. That's all we have for this month's edition of WHAT'S NEW.

So, hasta luego from Chapala!

"Hallelulah"

What does Eid Mubarak mean and how should you reply to the greeting on Eid ul-Adha? - Duration: 3:18.

What does Eid Mubarak mean and how should you reply to the greeting on Eid ul-Adha?

What does Eid Mubarak mean and how

should you reply to the greeting on Eid ul-Adha?

It is Eid ul-Adha and you will notice plenty of

people saying and 'Eid Mubarak' as a result.

Eid ul-Adha, which means 'Feast of the Sarifice' is in honour Ibrahim being willing

to sacrifice his son Ishmael to show submission to Allah.

As Ibrahim was about to do the deed upon Allah's command,

God replaced Ishmael with a sheep and he was saved.

The traditional greeting of 'Eid Mubarak' is used by Muslims during the holy festival

around the world and you will undoubtedly see it being sent around

social media at this time of year.

But what exactly does 'Eid Mubarak' mean?

'Eid' translates to English as 'celebration'

whilst 'Mubarak' means 'blessed' – so

together the phrase means 'blessed celebration'.

That is the literal translation but it can be

translated as 'have a blessed holiday' or simply 'Happy Eid'.

Is there a reply to 'Eid Mubarak'?

If someone says Eid Mubarak to you, it is

polite to respond by saying 'Khair

Mubarak', which wishes good will on the

person who greeted you.

You could also say 'JazakAllah Khair'

which means thank you, but literally

translates as 'May Allah reward you with goodness'

What Does High Blood Sugar Feel Like? - Duration: 6:51.

Hello, I am Ty Mason of thediabetescouncil.com, researcher, writer and I have type 2 diabetes.

Today I will talk to you about what high blood sugar feels like.

After you watch the video today, I invite you check out the description box for my new

ebook.

This is one of the most comprehensive diabetes meal planning book you can find.

It contains diabetes friendly meals/recipes, recipes for different goals such as 800-1800

calories per day meal plan, diabetes meal planning tips and tricks.

There are also tons of diabetes friendly recipes for everyone!

For those of you watching with diabetes, you probably know the answer to this question.

But I have been asked with those with diabetes this question before.

Hyperglycemia, high blood sugar or high blood glucose is the sign for all types of diabetes.

The body can no longer regulate the blood sugar in your blood for one of two reasons:

1.

the pancreas is no longer making enough insulin 2.

the body's cells have become so resistant to insulin that the pancreas cannot keep up

Either way the result is that glucose is accumulating in the bloodstream rather than being moved

into the cells.

But what does this feel like?

How does your body react?

Let me first say that you may feel some or all of the symptoms we discuss today.

Hyperglycemia can affect different people in different ways, but there are some symptoms

that are common among MOST people with diabetes.

There are 3 most common and we will discuss those.

But there are others.

The most common signs of high blood sugar I call PolyCubed.

1.

Polyuria == This is excessive urination.

You are constantly needing to run to the bathroom, like at least once an hour if not more often.

This is caused by a dual chain reaction.

The cells are pumping water into the bloodstream to try and dilute the glucose and bring it

back to normal, and the kidneys, unable to reabsorb this fluid during filtering, are

uncontrollably flushing water from the body.

The result is runaway urination.

2.

Polydipsia is the result of polyuria.

It is excessive thirst.

This is a response to the dehydrating effects of polyuria; it's the body's attempt to

rehydrate itself.

According to Wil Dubois BS, AAS, CPT, the relationship between excessive urination and

excessive thirst is often misinterpreted by people experiencing high blood glucose, especially

before diabetes is diagnosed.

Many people assume that excessive urination is caused by the excessive thirst, and not

the other way around.

So they are quick to discount the excessive urination, thinking "Well, I've been drinking

a lot lately…"

3.

Polyphagia is the final main symptom of high blood glucose level.

It is excessive hunger.

It is not so much caused by the high blood glucose level as it is a low insulin level.

the amount of insulin in the blood is insufficient to move glucose molecules from the bloodstream

into the cells, where they can be used as fuel for cellular processes.

If cells aren't able to gain access to glucose, they send out hunger signals and the brain's

hypothalamus triggers the sensation of hunger.

Those are the 3 main signs of high blood sugar.

Most everyone who has a blood sugar level above 150 will experience one or all of these

symptoms.

Usually at least 2 of them.

Another symptom you may feel is fatigue.

Your body is working so hard to regulate your blood sugar and your cells can't get the

fuel they need to work properly.

This will cause you to feel very tired.

You will want to rest constantly.

As the glucose levels rise in your blood stream, other symptoms are possible to appear.

One that is very common of others I have talked to is blurred vision.

Sometimes you see what I call "little snowmen" in your peripheral vision.

This is the beginning of diabetic retinopathy.

The tiny blood vessels in your eyes cannot carry the thicker blood causing oxygen levels

in the optic nerve to drop.

You may also experience one or more of the following after days of high blood glucose

levels: Rapid, deep breathing.

A fast heart rate and a weak pulse.

A strong, fruity breath odor.

Loss of appetite, belly pain, and/or vomiting.

Lightheadedness.

Headache Unexplained, rapid weight loss

Tingling in hands and/or feet Scratches or sores that take a long time to

heal It is difficult to answer what each individual

will feel like when their blood sugar is high.

It really depends on the individual and how high the blood glucose level is.

Believe it or not, there are people who feel worse when their blood glucose levels are

normal.

They get used to how it feels to have elevated blood sugars and "normal" is not normal

to them.

If you experience any 2 of the PolyCubed symptoms and you have not been diagnosed with diabetes,

you should get to your health care provider as soon as possible and ask them to check

your blood glucose level.

If you have diabetes and you experience any of the other symptoms, you need to make sure

you keep a check on your blood sugar and if it remains high, see your health care provider

and ask for an A1C test, this can help tell you how long your levels have been high.

You may need to have your medication adjusted.

High blood sugar is not something to just dismiss.

It can have very serious consequences.

If you even suspect you have high blood sugar, contact your health care provider.

I hope you have found this video helpful.

Don't forget to get my new ebook and please, subscribe to our channel for many more videos

like this one in the future.

Thanks for watching.

I am Ty Mason.

AMAZING! What Trump's Team Did To The President Will Bring Tears To Your Eyes!

Trump raised a lot of questions when he declared that he will not go to this year's White

House Correspondents dinner.

The Correspondents' dinner is basically fake prom night for the fake news media. They

get dressed up, walk the red carpet, and then listen to some mediocre, liberal comedian

bash Trump.

So, President Trump gave the media the ultimate "F U" when he announced he wasn't going.

However, Trump isn't the only one who won't be attending!

ABC News is reporting that Trump's entire White House Staff WILL NOT be attending the

dinner because they stand in "SOLIDARITY" with President Trump!

"THE WHITE HOUSE INFORMED THE WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' ASSOCIATION THIS EVENING

THAT WHITE HOUSE STAFF WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THIS YEAR'S WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS'

DINNER OUT OF 'SOLIDARITY' WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP."

This is so good to hear. That President Trump's team stands

behind him. Well, Mr. President, we stand with you too.

you think of this? Share

What is Quantum? NUS PC3130 PROJECT - Duration: 3:46.

The word quantum appears very often in both cinematic and written media.

But what does this word really stand for? Analyzing certain experiments would be a

common way to approach this question.

However, the word 'quantum' can also be explained by looking

at the many differences between quantum and classical physics.

Here, we consider four big ways quantum physics and classical physics are different.

Suppose we put a classical ping-pong ball in the box and give it a good shake.

Now, if we know everything about the ball, its initial state and all the

forces acting on it during the shaking,

we can, in principle predict definitely where the ball ended up.

However, this is not so for quantum physics.

If you put a quantum ping-pong ball in a quantum box

and shake it, no matter how much we know about the system,

we cannot predict for sure where the ball will be.

This is because the system is "intrinsically random".

Does this mean that we cannot predict anything about the system at all?

Well, fortunately, we still can.

We can find out the chances of the ball appearing at some part of the box.

Unlike the classical ping pong ball which we know is a distinct object in the box,

we can only know a "distribution of probabilities"

of where the quantum ping-pong ball is going to be.

This spread is described by something called the wavefunction.

When we decide to make a measurement of its position,

the very act of measuring 'collapses' this wavefunction.

The ball is then known to be at a certain place in the box

There is also an important difference in finding

average values in these two levels of physics.

For the classical ping pong ball,

we take the average by repeatedly opening the box and measuring the ball's position.

It's not as if we need to shake the box in the exact same way again

to get another position value for the average value.

But this is kind of what happens in the quantum ball.

Recall that the act of measuring "collapses the wavefunction",

This means that a measurement has already changed the system.

It's like we have a whole different ball now.

Hence, we must be re-prepare a system in the original state.

Same kind of ball, same kind of box, but different balls and boxes nonetheless.

So unlike the classical analogy, the quantum analogy would have us shake the

box in the exact same way all over again, in order to get that average value we need.

Finally, quantum and classical physics are different in terms of what sorts of

energies are possible. What does this mean?

Consider the classical ping pong again.

It can move at any speed and, hence, take any value for the energy.

But, this is once again, not the case for the quantum ball in the box.

With some math, it can be shown the wavefunction

that describes the energies is composed of sines and cosines.

And because the probability of the ball being in the regions outside of the box is zero,

the wavefunction in the corresponding regions are also zero.

Now, one important rule in quantum physics is that wavefunctions must always be "continuous".

What this basically means is that, we keep only the sine waves here.

This may sound pretty abstract but it has an important implication:

Quantum balls, can only take certain energies.

Unlike the classical ping pong, the quantum ping pong

cannot take any energy, but can only take certain, specific energy values.

and this is what physicists call the "quantization of energy",

which puts the "quantum" in quantum physics.

With that said, we see four things that makes quantum, quantum.
