Jorginho has singled out the error that lead to Chelsea's implosion at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium

After the 3-1 loss to Mauricio Pochettino's side, the Brazil-born Italian was singled out by critics as the weakness that allowed the home side to dominate the Blues

He was involved in each of the goals scored by his opponents.Dele Alli beat him to the ball at a freekick to score the opener

Jorginho tried to rush Christian Eriksen only to leave Harry Kane free to score for the second

The third Spurs goal saw Son Heung-min beat the midfielder down the wing before cutting inside past David Luiz to run one-on-one with the goalkeeper to tuck his shot away

It was a first loss for Maurizio Sarri in competitive football since joining Chelsea in the summer

Our team was not as compact as it always is," he told ESPN Brazil, as translated by Sport Wtiness

The first pressure wasn't being made, I believe it wasn't being made.So the defensive line ended up going down a lot and our team got very stretched

From the beginning, when you have [Manchester] City in the competition, it's already difficult

But I don't think we have to look ahead. We have to look at today, now, because there is much to improve, a lot to change

In November, Sarri himself spoke out about the problems Chelsea faced after a strong start to the season

if we want to be competitive and win something, then we need to be a solid team," he said

\We need to improve covering the ball in the other half.We need to press in the opponent's half

We need to cover immediately the lost ball."Against Tottenham, the intensity high up the pitch wasn't there to stifle Pochettino's team before they could launch a counter-attack, leaving the Blues and their high line exposed

The Italian has faced calls to moderate his approach as manager but there is a compelling argument that the Blues need to take his tactics to a greater extreme in order to enjoy the benefits of his approach, especially against top six opponents

Chelsea's first chance to try and put things right comes on Thursday when they face PAOK Salonika in the Europa League at Stamford Bridge

Morning Conversations with Jim Self and Roxane Burnett - What it Overwhelm? - Duration: 11:53.

Jim one of our students Darlene emailed and asked that we talk about this thing

called overwhelm and how does it happen and how do we get out of it.

So overwhelm. You just avoid everything in life -become an introvert -you don't talk to people you

stay away and it's easy. Go live in the mountain in a cave. Easy. Easy. You can do that. Now what else should we talk

about? So when I what I notice about overwhelm is it's the external

environment that creeps into a person's space. It's kind of like it water in the

cracks of a sidewalk and then it freezes -yeah -and it cracks the sidewalk so many times

it seeps in to places that we're not even conscious of. Yeah so in a lot

of ways it's just too much without noticing it's too much. It's too much so

in social situations maybe and loud music situations it can be it can feel

overwhelming when there's all that external stimulation. Yeah so what's the

what's also a nature of a person that gets into overwhelm? Not a good or bad

but a lot of times I watch doers. I've got to do or I'm gonna make them happy

I've got to do it right. Whatever format that is and there's no there's no alarm

there's no trigger that says oh wait I got a reset I got to stop I got to

ground I just got a walk outside for a minute that reset button. So they're in

it before they even notice they're in it. I think so I've noticed that with people

they just know so why are you doing all that there's probably multiple reasons.

There's no why. There's no why. Yeah so it's it's the doer it's a person

who doesn't have really good boundaries sometimes. It's a person who gives up their

seniority. It's a person that is doesn't want to disappoint other people so they

keep doing or they take on things. They put themselves into situations where

there's a should. Many times. I should go to this party. Yeah or I or I'm expected.

Mm-hmm. Or they'll be disappointed if I don't. So

I think there's a lot of different circumstances that people get into.

But I know that if you if you're that kind of a person it pay it has a lot of

value to basically recognize I'm that kind of a person. Nothing good or bad and -well recognize

that's the situation -yeah -that I have these feelings in. Or I find myself in. Yeah.

Or and I just had an experience I'm overwhelmed. Gee I'm doing this again I'm

getting tired of this is kind of the response that's oh okay well what did

you do to get yourself in that situation. It's like we were talking to that

elementary school teacher the other day and she was saying that she's retired

now but during the last few years of teaching she would come home exhausted. Yeah.

And overwhelmed. Yeah and in her case she didn't have any

tools. No. And she was wanting to do it right. And she thought she got home and

was tired because she was on her feet all day. Yeah. But when in actuality she

later recognized as we were talking to her it was because she was responsible

for these thirty little humans. Yeah yeah and and had an obligation to make them

right. Whatever that means so so there's a stress level that's put

on that that overwhelm. And in her case kids never let up right you know so it's

24-hours go home get some sleep come back do it again the next day. But I

think one of the fundamental pieces is tools. Goes back to tools. If you have a

sense of your grounding you have a sense present time you have a clear

understanding of your Rose and kind of this point of delineation I'm this is me

and that's my experience. And go into the situation that you know you're

vulnerable around prepared already grounded already have you Rose up. So

when you're in that noisy environment you're better able to manage it. Yeah so

set your energy before you go in and get clear about this is what I'm paying

attention to going in. That will all mitigate that overwhelming thing. And I also think that even

even people who have tools or on some spiritual path when they get overwhelmed

there's a there may be a level of not quite guilt but like oh I have tools I

shouldn't be getting overwhelmed. Yeah I should have done this -right you know I'm

not being masterful because I'm now exhausted and in this situation. But you

know and for people with tools and even people kind of now playing in that light

body space with lots of tools lots of awareness and consciousness. You still

have pictures you still have those experiences where I'm uncertain about or

I'm not capable of or I don't think I can perform and much of that is my mom

dad teacher minister said and I haven't cleaned that pattern out yet.

So sometimes an experience like overwhelm stop and say where does this

come from. Not as beating yourself up but you know what is the source of this? Who

am I pleasing? What am I why am I doing this? How do I what do I want from this?

Am am i able to be accomplished on my terms based on or on based on somebody

else's terms. How am I playing this game out? So I think asking questions not from

-beating yourself up -what's wrong with me is actually a very valuable -yeah -process. And make it be okay that when I'm in a

social situation of 20 people or more that I start to feel a little

uncomfortable so recognized that's what happens don't beat yourself up for it

and then prepare with the tools before you walk into that party. And let's just

take that situation too a lot of times you don't have to be the center of attention.

They may not be but because you don't have to be maybe at that point

stop being engaged just kind of be quiet and start to pay attention to you and

what is going on here that I'm feeling this particular way. So be introspective

you know it's the thing is you think well everybody's noticing actually

nobody's noticing. No people are just in their own thing. Absolutely and you just get quiet and

and kind of really notice you in this in this process. So but overwhelm there's

a whole other side of it let's touch on this the energetic side of the world

today. You know you the collective

consciousness the collective nature of humanity right now is in a disconnect.

The energies of structure and dependability and I came from here and

this is how it works and this is my truth that's not holding water for you

know the many many people. So there's a the ground is shaking under the feet

of humanity right now and some are panicking or fearful or scared or fill

in the blank without having any idea what's going on with me. And so you're

also feeling that banging of that energy on the edge of your energy field -which -causing

some of that. Which causes overwhelm. Which causes overwhelm. You know

without going here if you listen to Fox News on this side or CNN on this side

it's astonishing the same exact sentence spoken by somebody whose name will go

unnoted unspoken it's like it's -night and day -two different night day. And so you get all

this amping up of energies that have nothing to do with you

many times. And part of managing overwhelm I think is knowing when to

step away like you said be quiet in that party just stand and observe. Yeah. Know

when you when is healthy for you to step away and say I'm done right now I

need to take care of me. And there's a phrase in bicycle riding that says

drink when you're not thirsty and eat when you're not hungry

because you're out there you know going 50 60 hundred mile rides like like I do

and you haven't drank enough or eaten enough you hit the wall and at that

point you way you're way past the point of you know finishing that bike ride. Yeah. So

in this case start to notice indicators of let me just kind of take a breath and

ground myself and step aside and kind of enjoy this rather than engaging in it.

Yeah. You know we had a woman the other day where we went to that party the other

night and she stepped into the conversation and began to talk about the

governor's race and the two candidates and this and it was like wow where did this come from? She was so revved

up. Really revved up. And but very intelligent so it was worth listening to

her point of view but this amp on in her space was was kind of fascinating. But it

yet it was like yeah I'm interested but I'm not interested that much. Yeah. And

had to go drink more. No that's not what happened at all I don't think anyway.

So overwhelm is something to pay attention to particularly in these days.

These shifts are happening these experiences that you're used to being in

place many of them aren't going to be there to be in place in future times. So more

and more it's important to be masterful of your own personal space.

Managing who you are. Managing who you are. Yeah so so it's it's how do you

choose as you know always pay attention to you and what is it that you want to

experience in the situation that I'm in. And when you go home did you get it or

did you get overwhelmed? So why did you go to that party what would you like to have

learned what was your reason? Be clear about the reason and then

measure it against the experience you're having. So that's all I know I think on

that topic. Maybe we should go clean the house now.

For the party we're going to have. Oh yeah so all those people. Twenty people coming

over to have a party. Absolutely. No I don't think so. No. Have a nice morning.

Should I Have Surgery Abroad? | What You Need to Know - Duration: 2:18.

if you're travelling abroad for any procedure particularly cosmetic surgery you need to

be aware that there are huge risks involved with the doctors as to whether or not they're

regulated what is the regulation in the country that you're visiting is it regulated at

all if you're investigating a doctor look at his profile has he got good comments is

there anything bad that you are finding you know do your usual social media search about

the individual but from a risk point of view you need to know when you sign a contract

with a doctor for a particular surgery that not only are they going to do the surgery

but they've got a plan in place for if any complication happens if anything goes wrong

you need to know that there's a team of people available to be able to treat you carefully

if the procedure doesn't go quite as planned Obviously you've lost money in terms of

how much you paid for your treatment but also if you've been so severely affected that

you can't work that you need care and assistance say for example you came back and the surgery

was so catastrophic that you were bedbound or ill and going in and out of hospital to

have that surgery remedied your work and livelihood would be affected you'd need additional

people to help you that is what forms part of a claim that you can claim as a result

of something that has gone wrong a successful claim is based on evidence you need documentary

proof it is usually borne out of arranging a contract with a medical expert abroad if

you've gone to see somebody at a clinic you usually have signed documentation in order

to arrange the treatment all that documentation everything that you have in terms of receipts

or any other documents for the travel you need to keep and put together so then we can

advise you on the claim people are often concerned that when they've

had something go wrong whilst abroad be it on holiday or when they have taken a trip

to have surgery done that they can actually pursue a claim when it goes wrong in England

so even if you've had surgery in somewhere like Turkey or Hungary the law allows you

to be able to pursue a claim in the courts of England and Wales and even though we'd

be looking at the applicable law of that country you can still pursue it here

What to do when your OP isn't what you expected. - Duration: 1:41.

If your child hasn't gotten the OP that they need to get into their dream

program it's not the end of the world they don't need to panic, they just need

to do some work to prepare on the alternate pathways that they can use to

get into those dream programs. Don't be scared of making the wrong choice

just enter into your first year doing whatever you think you might like, once

you get into the university it makes it a lot easier for you to be able to

transfer. If your student hasn't finished high school and is looking at entering

into university after a year or a couple of years break there's a couple of different options for them.

Rosi left year twelve without finishing she

was in her final semester but she has now made the decision that she does want

to pursue study and she has now sat the test for tertiary entrance Queensland.

They could explore a tertiary preparation program or a tertiary

preparation pathway through organisations like UQ College all the

way through to attending TAFE and undertaking part or a whole certificate

course and then using those results and that educational experience to move into the university space.

During Jack's course admissions and selection process

we had a minor hiccup which was unfortunate but the great thing was one

phone call to the faculty and they were onto it straightaway and we had an

outcome and a resolution within seven days my of first phone call.

So what we encourage is for you to get in touch if you're unsure about your QTAC

preferences and where your dream program should sit, get in touch with the

university and we can help you through that process.

[Level Rewards Review 2018] What Is Level Rewards? - Duration: 15:38.

Hey guys, Rigo here with a-level rewards video

We're also going to be going over what is level

rewards and and well I'm just gonna be talking about how how they how you can make money with level rewards you know how

How they give you money what it is you?

know it's it's it's not very complicated guys, but it's a little bit of a different way of making money online and

it could be you know it could come it could come in handy to people who

we don't have money to get started to have a little bit of money to get started you know if you want to just kind level rewards review

of invest a little bit or or there's ways to not invest anything at all

But the investment you know we're talking about like $1 sometimes with certain offers so

It's basically just for someone who for people who don't have a lot to invest or don't have anything to invest at all

You know just to kind of get you guys started on making money on learning how to market

on you know it's just kind of a kind of like a side hustle you can do you know

So but it's a great way to make some money on the side level rewards review

it's you know it's a great way to make some money on the side so you can invest that into another business you know and

scale that business so it's it or you know if you need some bills that need to get paid you know by

you know you need some bills or you need some Christmas gifts for for Christmas

You know it's just it's it's a good way to make some extra cash on the side guys so

So what is it what is level rewards?

well level rewards

Basically has these offers from let's go ahead and hit over to the offers here level rewards review 2018

Offers from a fortune 500 companies from huge companies here Dropbox is like a billion dollar

Billion dollar company but yeah so there's different offers guys big companies

Will pay you

To to get leads for them so just again leads there there doesn't need to be a sale

So you don't need to make a sale here

You can try out an offer and you keep it for 70% to 90%

of the time if you don't keep it that long then you won't

It won't you won't get credited the offer guys so don't if you try if you're trying out an offer

don't cancel it right away wait I let at least you know like level rewards 2018

70% to 90% of the trial so if you know if you're you got a 10 day trial to whatever offer you choose to do

stick with it like seven to nine days you know

Make it probably eight would be a little bit better stick to it eight days and then you can cancel if you want you know

we're not level rewards isn't telling anyone to

to try to an offer and counsel if you enjoy it keep it you know trying out what I I

did this offer click your scores and I checked out my credit score you know which was very cool I think

Yeah this is free guys

Yeah, because I remember one offer cost one dollar and then that was it and then I cancelled it and it was just one dollar

But this one it's just free so I guess it's free

cost one dollar one dollar

Free no card required some of these

Will require a bank card guys so you know don't freak out about it these are big companies

They're not giving away your information to anyone level rewards 2018

So but this one doesn't even need a card here so you can try that one out so that's what I mean

And sometimes they might I already have I'm not I already I'm on like a level ten

I think so and I'll go over that right now over the different levels and stuff so you know just be patient but um

Some of these you will need to be at least on level one so you can so you can do the the free

No card required ones some of them might it just it all depends guys

Some of them require you some of them doesn't matter you're not on any level you can just do them I

believe that's the way it used to be I don't know if things have changed like I mentioned I haven't

promoted this in a while but

Guys, it's not hard like I mentioned you know a dollar most people have a toddler too you know it's just you know buying

An Arizona I see you know just don't buy one next time you have stolen there's your dollar

I'll be a guy's some of these offers are free others you know cost money but you know that depends it's up to you you

can check them out yourself and decide what you want to do

So, what do I mean by levels so level rewards right

Actually did I I don't think I finished mentioning AAB yes so some so big companies out there

will

Give you a commission for just

Just getting a lead so level rewards that's what basically what they do they they you know they work with all these

huge

companies and then they

they get offers from these huge companies and

They're basically giving us the offers and then when we try them

You know that we try them or keep them that's you know up to the individual

but they get paid money from the companies to get us to do office for them

So they get paid money and then when we offer you know get other people to try these offers for them what is level rewards

Then level rewards will give us a percentage of that money

So that's basically how it works guys, that's how they can

That's how level rewards will send you money

without like a commission being made or without with a free offer you know you don't you don't pay any money and then and

Then you get someone else and that person doesn't pay any money either but level

Rewards can give you money can give you a commission even though there wasn't a cellmate at all guys

So that's what's really great about level rewards there doesn't need to be a cellmate and you're still gonna get paid

Which is awesome guys because I know some people don't like to sell they have a hard time closing a sale but here

You don't really necessarily need to make a sale you guys can just share offers and then you know let people know that oh well

You know you don't have to you just have to try out an offer you don't have to buy anything you know there's if you what is level rewards

Want to try it or an offer or you see something I bought a domain through level rewards through GoDaddy you know

And that's just something that I needed but I got I got to I

Got to try out that offer do it and I got some points for it. So let's let's go ahead and head to the

overall we're already here um

to the points to the point system here so I am on level 10 which means

that I have basically

one point

equals a five dollar Commission that you

can make from someone

So one point and all these different offers so these are the offers that I have like I mentioned I did Go Daddy

So all these different offers are worth different amounts of points

so click your scores, that's what I told you guys about that I did

click your score I did that offer and

I got 2 points for it right so each point equals 5 dollars if you get someone to

to

make to do an offer

Whatever point that offer is worth that's how much of a commission you will make that's how much money level rewards will send you and

by the way they can send you to a PayPal account to your bank account or to an Amazon Amazon gift card

So yeah guys I hope I'm not making this too, confusing but it's very very simple if you guys if you guys

created crea why join level rewards

Try out an offer like I mentioned I tried out all of these offers right I tried out all of these offers

So I am at level 10 if you add all of these up. I am at level 10

So, I have 10 credits here you guys can see I can make

$5 for every single credit there so I can currently earn up to

$50 per referral why is it per referral because it's up to the referral

what level they reach so if they only reach to level 5

they can only make

$25 per referral per person they refer so let's say that I'm on level on level ten right and

Then I refer someone and that person gets up to level 15 I

can only make a commission up to level 10

He level levels 11 12 13 14 15 all those levels all those commissions I won't get because I'm not at that level right

So you miss out on those commissions guys you'll be missing on

15 dollars I

Would be missing out on 15 dollars because each level is five dollars

Five times no I would be missing missing out on twenty five dollars actually because each each point is five dollars

So that's five points five times five equals 25

I know this sounds a bit confusing guys but it really isn't it's not it's very simple each point is worth

Each point is worth five dollars so

like I mentioned on my level 10

each one is worth $5 so I can earn up to

$50 per referral

so each

Person that I refer into the program

That starts trying out offers you know they want to try it offers they want to make some money I

can make only up to

$50 because I'm on level 10 if they go past that then I don't receive those commissions and they go on to level

15 and 20 I won't make I will make my Commission only up to level 10

after that I don't get the Commission guys

So that's why it's important to to try out offered yourself you know get up to level 5 if you want before you start promoting

to other people get up to level 5 at least that's what they recommend you get up to level 5 and

Then you can start promoting if you promote and you're not on any level then

You won't make any Commission guys if you're on level 5 then at least you can make twenty five dollars from each person you refer

Right, because you get on level five times five dollars each point it's 25 dollars so

So yeah that's very important. That you join level rewards and you level up as soon as

you join level rewards go through the offers page again like I mentioned um

it's very why join level rewards

It's simple guys you just you know it's you just go to the offers section you give you first of all you create your account

you go to the offer section and then and

Then you just see whatever you like you know there's anything you're interested in you know check it out

It's just big big companies like I mentioned most of them will need a bank card so

You know just be aware of that so there's a bunch a bunch of offers here guys

whatever you want you know you choose whatever you like

so

So yeah guys, that's pretty

much it that's what level rewards is I'll make another video on how I made the money that I have made which is

thirty-five dollars but I made it with

You know little to no effort very easy I'll show you guys how I did it in another video

Because this video is already too long and it's probably gonna take me a little bit it's not hard to explain but I

tend to go on in HoN guys so

So yeah it's pretty there's pretty much what level rewards is you

Can make and you know there's people making a lot more than I did I've made $35 but I haven't really promoted it at all

So that's that it's it's very simple guys you just have to know you know

Some days some things that you should be doing so and then there's training by the way there's training let me see if I can

Get down here there's some training here they provide these these uh

Landing pages for you so you can send these to people you

want to refer and then they can create their account and they'll get credit credited to your account

So let's see this is the well let's just wait for it to load here a little bit

So this is the sales page it's very cool it's free you

Know sometimes you have to pay for these things but this one level reward provides two different ones to you for free

So this video goes over basically what level rewards is and you know just kind of showing you

How it works?

It talks about level rewards you can register here

You there's a support group you can use and everyone shows them payment proof

Sub level no more worth paying them when, when I've gotten received my payments may come in like less than an hour guys

they're really fast straight to my PayPal account so they're really really fast why join level rewards

So you can join the Facebook support group here the training side here there's even a training set

Which is very cool so you can go through that and see

you know get some

valuable training and how do you know how to work level rewards

More income proofs or just people getting paid

more income proof here you know here Lauren so Hoffman to two thousand seven hundred dollars two thousand four hundred to Shelley and

People are posting their payment proof all the time on the Facebook group guys so you can you can join

You just go through this page of two thousand and thousand learning people making you know money every day

21. June 21 22 23 24 just as you guys can see it's a very very cool

Cool program very it's a difference you know kind of a different concept and the usual online marketing guys so

It's you know it's all about offers like I talked about that you know I think already I think you guys get the picture

But it's a different way of making money online

there doesn't need much of

an investment

It through some offers there's no investment needed

Some offers it's just a dollar investment and you can start you know turn that dollar into you know thousands here so

hundreds thousands it just depends on the work that you put in guys

So this is a very cool level rewards review 2018

sales pitch here you know fortune 500 companies

Talks about all it talks about the program basically what it is how you can get paid so really it's a really cool sales page

but

yeah guys

That's pretty much it little rewards that's how what it is that's how it works you know it's it's it's a form of CPA marketing?

So but it's I just think it's a very cool because there needs there doesn't need to be a sale made

There doesn't need to be a cell mate and you still get paid so you know not too. Many, businesses are like that

So, that's extremely cool for people this is because I'm you know

I'm trying to help you out guys out trying to it because a lot of people say they don't have any money to get started

In my other businesses so this is kind of my answer to that, okay?

Well you know let's see you

Can make some money with this you know even if you don't have a lot of money. So so that's what it is

What does 'undetectable' mean? - Duration: 3:05.

Undetectable equals untransmittable.

It's the idea that has changed the world of sexual safety.

We now have tons of evidence to

show that people who take antiretroviral

medications can reduce the

amount of HIV in their blood to the

point that they can't transmit the virus.

It's one of the most important changes in

years in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

What does undetectable really mean?

The number of copies of HIV in a millilitre

of blood is what's called a viral load.

When taken properly, antiretroviral meds

reduce that viral load.

A low enough number means

you can't transmit HIV to anyone else.

How do we know that?

Researchers in Europe followed

almost 1,000 serodiscordant couples.

That means one of the partners

was HIV-positive and the other negative.

They looked for couples who didn't use condoms

and where the positive partner was taking

medication to suppress HIV.

The results were clear.

Not one person contracted

HIV from their positive partner

over the four-year study.

A follow-up study focusing on male

same-sex couples was just published in July.

It had the same results: undetectable

means untransmittable.

So let's back up.

What is undetectable?

First of all,

what we call undetectable is actually detectable.

Back in the '80s and '90s,

HIV viral load tests weren't nearly as good as they are now.

They needed hundreds or thousands of copies of HIV

in each millilitre of blood to show a positive result.

New HIV tests can show a positive result

with as few as 20 copies per millilitre.

So back then undetectable

meant something totally different

than what it does now.

But the name stuck.

After six months on antiretrovirals

most people will have a viral load of less than 50.

For the sake of clarity, most scientists now describe that level as

undetectable even though it's actually detectable.

So is taking antiretrovirals the same as being undetectable?

Usually, but not always.

Modern antiretrovirals are very effective,

but they don't work for everyone.

That could be because they're dealing with other health complications,

they experience serious side effects

or they can't access healthcare regularly.

Many people also deal with social barriers.

There's some troubling research that shows

less viral suppression among Indigenous

people in Canada compared to other people taking antiretrovirals.

Because of all that, the best bet

is six months on antiretrovirals

and then regular testing to make sure

you have an undetectable viral load.

So, is undetectable really equal to

untransmittable?

The short answer is yes,

but what's most important is that

everyone has access to regular testing

and medical care.

How to use Google Analytics - What is event tracking? Quick facts about events in Analytics - Duration: 3:11.

In this video let's cover some quick facts about event tracking

in Google Analytics.

First of all an event has four parts.

They are the category.

There is the action.

There is the label and then there is a value.

These are optional parts specifically the label and

value.

These are optional parts but you have to have the category and

the action come through.

Goals can be created using event data.

So first you that the event reporting in Google Analytics

and then you can create a goal that fires when that event is

actually stored into Analytics.

Then you've also can create segments that you can actually

break out segments based on your Google Analytics event data

that's coming through.

You can implement events without using code.

So typically years ago you had to use code it was the only way

to do it you worked with the developers to do it.

Now you can use Google Tag Manager.

It's a fantastic tool. If you are not using tag manager, you

should immediately put it on your must investigate list.

Tag Manager is amazing and it helps you to track these very

specific behaviors.

Because when you think about events that's all it really is.

So very specific behaviors you can track as events that are

customized.

So you can use scroll tracking as an event, video action,

interaction as an event.

There's contact form interaction as an event.

Very important, GA, Google Analytics can only track 500

events per session when a user comes in.

So if I come to your site and let's say you have a video and

it fires an event every single second of that video after 500

seconds it's tapped out it can't track any more of any more

events for my particular visit.

I would have to leave the session and come back to your

site later and then that count starts over again.

But once it hits 500 it's done.

So make sure that you're not going crazy when it comes to

tracking your events only track specific behaviors that are

going to matter to you.

In fact I'm going to show you an example of events here.

So if we go into the Google merchandise store they've got an

event set up you're going to find those under behavior and

then you go to events and you're going to see right here and

overview to go into our events are going to see this contact

us.

And so very quickly I see this contact us event but watch what

happens when I click on an action.

So now it's the Contact Us.

This shows me it's an on site click and then the label they

are actually storing what type of action was it was that the

e-mail contact us or was it a phone number.

Contact us.

And this is incredible this level of detail this information

that you can only get from your Google Analytics when you

customize your Google Analytics.

And so many people skip this step. Not because they don't

know how to do it. It's because they don't know it's even

possible and that's what events are for.

Events are there to help you to measure very specific behaviors

that are happening on your site already.

But you want to be aware of you want to give a little more

visibility you want to be able to track and measure and that's

what you use events for.

This is just such a great example on the Google

Merchandise Store of how they're doing that to track how people

are interacting with them through their contact us form.

Let me know how you're using information in this video to

improve your own marketing efforts.

And of course if you'd like topics around Google Analytics

be sure to like this video and subscribe to the CXL channel.

That way you're notified when new videos are available.

What Are The Principles Of Effective Communication? - Duration: 11:48.

So, if you ever experience a situation where you just cannot communicate with a

person that's important to you in your life. Either they don't understand you or

you don't understand them. Today we're going to talk about what are the

principles of effective communication.

You know, one of the most frustrating things that a person can experience is

when you have something important that you're trying to communicate to somebody

else and they just don't get it. They don't see it the way that you see it.

Have you had that experience where you've had an idea or you learn

something new and you're excited about it. And you want to go share it with

somebody else. And they just don't see it. They don't feel the same way that you do.

I remember one of the first times that this kind of really dawned on me and hit

me about one of the principles I'm going to teach today is when we were starting

our residential treatment program. We had to get approval from the city in order

to meet code, the the city had to approve a residential treatment center within

the boundaries of the city. Well, I was really excited about opening our

treatment center and I saw this Center as being a benefit not only to the girls

and the families that would come to our program but that it would be a benefit

to the community as well. This was in 2008. The economy was struggling and I

knew that we would be able to provide jobs for people in the community. And the

things that we would be teaching our students would also be things that would

benefit the lives of our staff who would be working with us. And so, all I could

see in my mind was win-win-win for this. And so, I went to the City

Council, presented our idea to them and I was so frustrated and disappointed when

members of the City Council did not want this residential treatment center in

their town. And they had all of these reasons for not wanting it. And I

remember coming out of that meeting being angry and being frustrated because

the other people couldn't see what I could see. And then it dawned on me.

It really isn't or wasn't their responsibility to see things the way

that I saw them. In their mind they had their own beliefs, their own mindset of

what they thought was the best thing for the community and they saw what I was

offering is something that would be something negative to the community. But

I realized then that it was my responsibility to figure out how to

communicate to them what I saw and in the way that I understood it. It wasn't

their responsibility to understand me. It's my... It was my responsibility

to figure out how to communicate effectively with them. So, with that, there

are 2 parts of communication. There's the sending of the information

and then there's the receiving of the information. It's pretty simple and yet

there is so much miscommunication that goes on in our lives. I'm sure you've

experienced situations where you thought that you were on the same page with

somebody else, you had had a conversation a discussion about something. Came away

with an agreement or perceived understanding only to find out later

that both of you understood what you had talked about in a different way. And the

outcome was not what you thought that it was going to be. One of the reasons for

that is in communication, we tend to rely very heavily on the words that we use

and yet our words, really only make up about 7% of all of our communication. All

of the rest of the communication is made up of body language, our tone of voice

and all of those other things that come into it's also affected by our own

filters. So, depending on the place that you're at and what's going on in your

mind, you may be in a negative State. And therefore, everything that you hear is

going to be filtered through that negative filter. And so, I might be in a

positive State and my filter is totally different than yours. So, I may be using

words that mean one thing to me but they mean something else to you. So there's so

many different things that affect the words that we use and that communication

going back and forth. So, one really simple technique that you can use when

you're wanting to communicate an idea to somebody else is just to make sure that

they understand exactly what it is that you're trying to communicate with them.

So instead of just assuming that they understand what I said and just moving

on, after I've made a statement or explained my point of view, the best

thing that I can do is check in with them and I can say, "So, share with me what

it is that you heard me say. Or will you tell me what you heard me say? Or what is

your understanding of what I just expressed to you?" That then gives the

person an opportunity in their own words to share back with me what I just shared

with them. And that gives me an opportunity to make sure that they understood it in

exactly the way that I was trying to present it. If not, then it gives me the

opportunity to clarify and then ask again. And that back and

forth can happen until there's a clear agreement on both sides of what was

stated and what was being communicated. Now, if I'm on the receiving end of

communication, the same thing occurs, right? That I think that I understood

what the person was saying and often times, that I misunderstood with that. And

so, one of Stephen Covey 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is... And this

is one of the tools that helps improve relationships is seek first to

understand then to be understood. So, oftentimes in conversations, we're so

busy trying to get the other person to see things the way that we see them and

to understand things the way we understand. That we're not concerned

about the other person's point of view. And because of that, we create roadblocks

or miscommunication because if both of us are just interested in trying to get

the other to see it the way that we see it, we're never going to come to a common

understanding. And so, if I'm on the receiving end, my first goal is, "I want to

make sure that I understand what it is that you're communicating with me." Too

often when somebody else is talking, we don't even completely hear them out

because we're thinking about what we're going to say in response. Instead of

hearing the whole message and making sure that we understand it completely. So

there will be time later to share your thoughts, your opinions. But in the moment,

when the other person is talking, focus on making sure that you understand the

message that they're sending. And once the person has finished talking, then

when I'm on the receiving end, I can actually do the same

thing that I could do if I was the one sending the information. I could say to

the person, "So, I want to just make sure I understand you correctly. So, what you're

saying is..." And then I share back to them in my own words my understanding of

their thought idea or opinion. And again, then we can go back and forth until we

get to a place where both of us know that we have that common understanding.

So, 2 principles of effective communication is (1) make sure that the

message that I'm sending is the message that the other person is receiving. And

if I'm on the receiving end I want to make sure that the message that I'm

receiving is the message that's being sent. One thing with this when you when

you begin to do this in your conversations and in your relationships

is it may seem to slow the conversation down a little bit and it may feel a

little bit awkward at first. So, just begin to practice it and it's

probably more important to do this in conversations that are important. So if

you're having a serious conversation with somebody, these are 2 tools.

Whether you're on the the sending end or the receiving end of what you can do to

make sure that the communication and what's happening in that discussion

ends up in a way of where both sides understand what the other is saying and

trying to and the message that you're trying to get across. In just casual

conversations, the more you practice it, the more it will begin to just be

natural. That in your discussions, you're autopilot now is whenever you

hear a message from somebody else, you just check in and you just say, "So, what I

heard you say is..." Or "I just want to make sure I understand this." And as you do

this, your communication with others will improve, your

overall relationships will improve and your effectiveness in working with other

people will improve. Thanks for watching today. I encourage you to try and

implement what we talked about today and to make sure that these are the message

that you're sending or the message that you're receiving is what the other

person is saying or hearing. And let me know how this works for you. If you have

other things in your life that you're struggling with or that you would like

What is a city without migration? - Duration: 4:10.

- Cities are made of migration,

historically, they were made of migration.

They were important places where trade was going through

and often where flows of people were going through.

That is actually often forgotten

but migration made cities.

So in a way, it's in their DNA.

I think cities are emerging as a very important

level of identification.

I think it's promising in terms of diversity

because somehow, first of all, integration

happens in cities, so, it is the everyday life,

and it is where the challenges come

and where local governments oftentimes,

most of the time, they're more progressive

in saying, okay, I don't care for instance, about,

the citizenship accusation and changes

in the citizenship law, but I want to integrate

my people in the schools, for instance,

in local activities, into civic activism,

into voluntary projects - and that's very important.

That is also another level of identity

that can do away with a lot of the tensions

of the national level, so is this person

a true friend, is he a true German,

or is she a true Italian or rather say,

she is from Milan, she is from Turin,

he is from Berlin, she is from Marsailles.

Now, of course I think the way you identify with your city

has a lot to do with, also, your ethnic

and national register.

So for me, in a way, this is a new thing that I'm finding

through my research because within my own Greek background,

there was no space for cities.

So it's not that you were an Athenian. I grew up,

was born and grew up in Athens,

from a family that has been in Athens for

three or four generations, which is generally unusual,

but I never, there was no space and I think,

perhaps, to a large extent, there's still no space

in the Greek national register to say, "I'm an Athenian."

But probably, this is going to come, as a result

of the diversity and migration and intermingling.

Identifying with your city is more acceptable

both for the newcomer, whatever the newcomer is,

but also for the local - so the person

who is originally from that city

for one or two or three generations.

Because it is validating more the everyday,

the current experience. It kind of

avoids the historical issues and avoids

the legal issues.

I think, of course, it's an idiom more for large cities.

Perhaps it works, I mean, while integration

can still work well and probably even better

in smaller towns, but the register of having a city

identity is more difficult if you come from

a small town, while if you come from a medium or large

city it makes sense to say, you know,

I feel "Marseillais,"

rather than to say, I feel "a person from a really small..."

And probably has a place in the world.

I think city heritage does not really antagonize

national heritage or national definitions

of what is...national dominant discourses

about what it means to be German, to be Greek,

or to be American for that matter.

I think it really functions on a different register,

and I think that's actually what is promising.

Try to think of yourself as a citizen,

as an inhabitant of your own city,

and how you want to live your life

in connection with that and hence, then,

you bring everything together with this local connection.

And it helps also build resilience and fight alienation.
