when one because I'm on gods for one one right anyways this is a are live Q & A
what we do is we have a very large Facebook page not very large but it's
pretty good size so we have a good size Facebook page and I am the admin over
there and I answer all the questions for people and we pick either a good
question or a question that's asked quite a bit and then we'll come in here
and do a live question answer so the question that I hear over and over and
over and over again is why isn't life fair I mean everybody a lot of people
want to know why life isn't fair so in the comment section below I want to know
do you think life is fair and why or why not
so do you think as us you know you being a human on earth that life is fair as it
treated you fairly or not did you get the short end of the deal and and why
why do you think that I would love to know that so anyways this is the
question that's generally a lot and a lot a lot lot of people ask us and this
is um pulling me back up there's an author and we're not involved with him
anyways her in any ways Lisa Turk Hurst there's her book it's kind of
upside down really cool cover anyways she is a Christian author and if you're
a female or maybe a male I know because of Kim she is in charge of Proverbs 31
ministry which is a huge ministry for women and there's a story that I'm
leading up this so it's a story okay so in her ministry no no I mean just
imagine so you know she wrote this and its really a good title it's it's not I
love this title it's not supposed to be this way I mean it's not supposed to be
this way and that's kind of like life you if you're a Christian or if you're
religious or even if you lead a good life right it's not supposed to be this
way I mean life isn't supposed to be this way you know her story is is that
she's doing God's work I mean just an incredible woman I mean just her
ministry and the women she's reaching I mean she's dedicating her life
towards Jesus and a great cause and all of a sudden her husband and I'm not
saying all of a sudden but she's dealing infidelity her husband is cheating on
her which they finally ended up in a divorce and again oh why me don't quote
me on this okay because I'm telling the story from what I've read so I don't
know the actual you know what have you so she's dealing with the pain of a 25
year infidelity divorce and her husband her best friend lets her down probably
the person that she most trusted in this entire world turned his back on her and
went in our direction so her world's crashing you know and I
mean anyways been through a divorce knows it's bad I mean even if you don't
like the person a lot it's still bad it's bad it's not fun so she might be
you know going okay it's not supposed to be like this Lord you know I mean I I'm
in this huge ministry and we're ministering the millions of women all
the time and and and it's not supposed to be like this so then on top of that
okay and if that's not devastating enough on top of that she gets breast
cancer and praise Jesus that she has breast cancer free from what I've read
but imagine her life just crashing I mean things are going good I mean
they're they're cruising along you're doing God's work I mean I think a lot of
people also think you know I'm doing God work so bad things wouldn't happen I
mean why would he cause bad things to happen because I'm doing his work so
that's one this is a great book she just came out with it I mean I haven't read
it but I'm really an admirer and Kim and I or an admirer of her say my own and
check it out meat needs meat but it tell us a really good story but the thing is
I think that we think that life's supposed to be fair and a lot of people
just don't understand it and I think the reason they don't understand it is
because people always just want to know why I mean if something bad happens
as humans we want to just we have to label it we have to say why did that
happen and we're not okay or I'm not okay with sometimes knowing just because
I mean how many people comment if you agree if someone says well just because
just because doesn't work for me I want to know why but in life there are not
there isn't you know Oh an answer there isn't a lot of times so I wrote down a
couple notes and this is what I told this is what I private I tell people so
when they come to me and they say it life isn't fair it's not supposed to be
like this I mean it's just so unfair I mean you're going along and and you get
this health problem or or someone in your family is diagnosed with cancer and
your world just crashes in on you or you're going along and you're you know
your yeah bills are okay you're paying your bills and all of a sudden this
massive bill just crashes in and you're looking at bankruptcy and you're just
tears because you just you don't know what you're gonna do or you have to give
up your house because you can't afford your house payments anymore
I mean it's just I hear so many stories just like this or you know your world is
going along fine I was watching today and on the Today Show and all of a
sudden their son dies just a healthy 17 18 or fine he was 15 year old son dies
because he was our surfing on an uber and he fell down
and just got a brain and no one took him the hospital and son died so I mean your
world is going along great and it just crashes just crashes so I wrote some
notes and what I do is I always try to tell people this is that you know we
live in a fallen world so if you're if we're looking for a world that is free
from pain and suffering it doesn't exist and and don't think that anybody is
immune from it it affects everybody so it's it's sometimes I think we take it
personal like God doesn't love me or I'm doing something wrong and that is not
and I tell people that's not it God loves you and I know at times it feels
like he doesn't love you I mean why would a loving God you know cause my son
to die because he could totally prevent that I mean he could have totally taken
you know him to the hospital but he didn't so you live in a fallen world bad
things are going to happen to you you've done nothing wrong you know it's just
you live we live in a world that that's there there's no such thing as a
pain-free suffering world today so I try to tell people that everything is try to
try to help them work through this is that you may never know a reason for
your pain and suffering and and why what's going on you may never know and
don't try to figure it out I mean don't try to work through it
don't try to do it just realize you may never know I mean I'm sick and I mean
there's I see some good it but I won't ever know until you get to heaven and
then I'm sure you know you're gonna know you'll know then you know you'll figure
it out because Jesus will tell you excuse me the other thing you need to
realize is that when you're going through this is that it just empties you
and drains you it just takes everything out of you you need to fill yourself up
because I believe that if you stay stuck I've always said to people you're never
you never stagnant you're either moving forward or you're going behind they're
good two steps forward or what one step forward two steps back either or so if
you're in that situation and your world is just crashed
don't try and I know it's so so so hard fill yourself up with something because
if you're empty negative thoughts just keep coming in and piles and it gets
worse and the cloud never goes away so pray meditate read God's Word fill
yourself up with something positive something something good instead of that
that hole in your heart that's there or that missing piece of
you that that's gone you just got to fill it up and focus the last thing that
I wrote down or that I tell people is focus on the here and now because I
think a lot of us like we always play the what if game and that makes it even
worse so don't play the what-if me the what-if game stay here now for example
Kim my wife has found out she has back problems and all the doctors are telling
her just crazy crazy stuff and I always tell her you know she was what happens
in my brain well what happens if it's this well what happens is that don't get
caught up in that so I mean if you're sick and you have cancer I mean don't
think well what if I have to have chemo or or you know you're tight on money you
know what if I go bankrupt don't think that okay don't play the what if game
because you don't know you don't know because you if you're a Christian you
serve a god that can do anything so don't get caught up in the what-if game
you don't know Linda here and now I know that I have cancer
right now and I'm doing this and I'm taking a day-by-day
I'm gonna beat it don't let yourself get that negative the enemy wants to play
the what if game and try to drag you down and beat you down don't let him do
that so I hope those four points just helped I wrote him down anyways I hope
that guys helped you we have a lot of people that do that I know on Facebook
and a lot of people are asking it I know there's a bunch of people that are
