Humans have been drinking wine for at least 8,000 years.

And in that time it's been a drink of luxury and leisure, religious rites, and celebrations.

There are investment wines, table wines, natural wines, and sparkling wines, and the one thing

that seems to link all of them?

They're not cheap.

So is the wine business only for the rich, or is there room for anyone to make money?

Most expensive wine comes from France.

So it makes sense that most of our vocabulary about wine comes from France as well.

In the wine world, the word for an expert is "sommelier".

And I talked to one to help me understand what makes a wine worth it.

My name is Madeleine Hayles.

I do private wine consulting for events and personal wine buying.

And according to her, one of the main reasons wine is so expensive to buy,

is because it's incredibly expensive to make.

Before you even get to the grapes, there's the soil.

And in wine, the soil matters - a lot.

Wine is all about terroir [terr-woir] - a French term that basically encapsulates the

way that the soil, climate, weather, and other elements in a region influence the way the grapes grow and taste.

And so places that have a history of making good grapes and good wine, are more desirable

to both wine producers and wine buyers.

So when you're buying vineyard acreage, you're really buying the terroir of that piece of

land or part of the world.

The better the terroir, the more you'll have to pay for the land, and, the more you get

to charge for the wine that's made there.

But what makes good land exactly?

And how can you tell just "how" good it is?

The French, of course, have a system for that.

Most wines are labelled according to the grape variety that they come from,

like Sauvignon blanc, Cabernet sauvignon, or Pinot noir.

But France has over 200 varieties of grapes.

And because there are so many, a lot of French wine is made with

a combination of two or more different varieties.

And because of that, French wines are labelled according

to the region of France that the grapes are grown in

instead of the grapes that the wine is made from.

Each region has its own rules about how wine should be made there and wines are given a

certification based on how strictly they adhere to those rules.

There are four rankings for land, and the highest can be extremely expensive.

A hectare of the best land costs an average of €66,500.

The same amount of land in Champagne, the namesake of Champagne wine, costs €1,000,000 on average.

And the best land, in the Burgundy region, fetches €3,000,000 a hectare.

It's really hard to know if the terroir of those vineyards warrants those prices

just because it's hard to know what $2,500 is supposed to taste like.

With all this talk about vines and vineyards.

It's easy to forget that growing grapes is farming.

And, like all farmers, wineries and vineyards, buy and sell grapes all the time.

And because you can buy the fruit without needing to own the land there are some very

good wineries that don't own a single grape vine.

For example, you can buy one ton of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Napa Valley for $7,000.

And a bottle of wine is made from about 6-800 grapes,

meaning that ton of grapes will become 720 bottles of wine.

So the cost of grapes alone for each of those bottles is almost $10.

And once that wine is in those bottles,

those wineries aren't the ones that get them to your dinner table.

That's the job of wine importers.

They find the best wine from around the world and make sure it gets in the hand of the restaurants,

private wine shops, and private cellars where they'll be most appreciated and enjoyed.

So after all that effort, money, and care, it seems like a waste to not drink it.

But wine - especially expensive wine - does end up in cellars, being kept for years to

make those expensive bottles even more expensive.

I don't know if it's necessarily something

that I advocate because I really think that wines are for drinking.

It's like buying a beautiful piece of art and putting it in your garage and nobody ever sees it.

And while the wine we're drinking today may not make us rich,

holding on to it for 50 years or so just might.

So you're traveling. You're in New York City. You're in the emergency room at one o'clock in the morning

And your friend is feeling really bad. And there's a man that comes up to you and he looks homeless.

Now, he says he's a doctor. He wants to look at your friend. What are you going to do?

Gents, human beings are not logical

We make decisions based of emotion. And in today's video, I'm going to talk about ----

Seven human biases and how when you dress well you can use style

to your advantage to get what you want out of life

So the first human bias I want to cover gentlemen is that

we have a tendency to be lazy when it comes to thinking.

And this is a great thing because

actual thinking and using the thought process,

using your mind requires a lot of energy

but did you know most of your decisions through out the day

are default decisions.These are the things that you've done multiple times

You fall into default routine and you're not thinking

when you're in the shower. You're not thinking actually when you're driving.

When you're going to and from work. Even when you're at work, a lot of times

you are in this default mode. You're not using all the energy that is required by your brain.

When you have to, all of a sudden it's task.

It's like a glass of water through out the day.

You've only got so much that you can use.

Now, knowing this. Our brain is very careful.

Our body is very careful about when it's going to engage the thinking process.

So, when you're meeting someone or engaging with someone

you're making a snap judgement about them.

And this is why style is so important.

Because when you see somebody, you're not actually taking a step back and saying

You know what? I wonder how this person is deep, down inside their heart

No, it's fight or flight.

You make a quick response.

Is this a threat? Is this someone who can help me?

Are they somebody I can trust? That's why going back to that first example

of the doctor. When that doctor wears that white jacket.

This is a sign that he's a medical professional. This has been ingrained in us.

So, when you dress in a suit.

Guess what? Most people think this is a sign of authority.

When a fireman walks into a room and says, "Get out!" We get out.

When a naked man walks into a room and says, "Everyone, get out!" We call the police.

It's based off of authority and what we associate that uniform

And the meaning that goes with it.

Next up, let's talk about the anchoring biases.

And this makes human beings stubborn.

Because we want to believe that we are right.

And we make first impressions all the time. And guess what?

A lot of times people betray that first impression.

We thought that guy is smart and then he makes a stupid decision.

He makes no logical sense. Why do you think this guy was smart?

He's wearing a suit jacket.

Yet, you give him another chance. Because why?

Because you're stubborn. You've anchored in the belief

that your first assumption had no basis in logic is correct.

So this anchoring bias, if you dress well

You create a good first impression.

Guess what you're doing for yourself?

If you were to mess up. If you were to make a mistake.

People want to believe that they were right. They are going to give you an additional chance

versus if you start of with a bad first impression.

You've got bad manners. You dress poorly.

And they thought of you poorly. Guess what?

When you make that mistake, they feel justified.

They're looking at you and saying, "Oh! Well, I knew that this person was going

to be a good fit." versus "Hmm...everyone's human.

I'm going to give this person another chance."

So, knowing the anchoring bias. You can use this to your advantage

by making sure that you always. When you can control it.

Create a good impression.

Next up, we've got the social norm bias.

And that is when human beings want to accepted in the group.

Socially, we want to engage.

This is very natural. This has helped us survive.

And it's something as human beings. We crave acceptance.

I know some of you guys are rebels.

You want to do your own thing.

The vast majority of people.They simply want to engage with others.

They want to be around other people.

And this is what dressing appropriately for the situation.

What is called for? Even when there's no dress code gentlemen.

There is a dress code. And when you do this.

When you dress appropriately. You're going to fit in the social norm.

It makes us feel good when we've got this strong reputation.

When people speak well of us. Now, I'm not saying you can't break from that.

But understand that by dressing appropriately.

You can make sure and you can feel better about yourself knowing that you're part of the group.

Next up, we've got the status bias. And this is when we're meeting up in a group

whether it'd be three people, whether it'd be three hundred.

We're looking around. Who are the leaders? Who are the followers?

Where do people fit? And people want to know where do they fit.

And often times, this is quickly made based of how they're dressed and

how they present themselves. We have an idea in our mind of what a leader looks like.

And so we're going to see a guy wearing a jacket. We can assume, "Okay, this is someone that is a leader."

Based off of the way they dress. Based off of the way they present themselves.

I'm not saying you have to wear a jacket.

I am saying know how a high status individual dresses like in that situation.

You want to think, "How can I dress in a way that people are going to look at me for leadership."

Now, what if you're in a support role? You don't want to be the leader.

In that case, maybe tone it down but understand that the way you dress

sends a message to people. Especially to those you don't know on

where you fit in the status setting.

Next up, let's talk about the survival bias.

And that is, we want to surround ourselves with strong people.

Whether it's a strong mate that gives us good offspring.

Whether it's a strong friend that's got our back whenever we're in a fight.

These are people that we know are going to be able to take care of us.

Are going to be able to pull us back up.

So dress in a manner that people envision to be a success.

This has changed throughout time.

Go back a few thousand years.

Yes, being strong. Being able to win a fight was a great thing.

Nowadays, it's more of a legal fight.

Do you have the funds?

Do you have the money to be able to provide for a family?

This guy I want to get to know.

He looks like he's going places. I want to be part of his journey.

I want to be part of his story.

I want to go work for him. I want him to come work for me.

Whatever it is guys. People are looking to surround themselves

with people who are going to help them survive and thrive.

The next bias you need to be aware of.

The attraction bias. Whether it's an attractive man or an attractive woman.

We are stupid around attractive people.

Because they look healthy. We want to be around them.

So we're going to trust them more.

When we trust people more. Simply because look healthy. They look attractive.

Guess what? They're going to sell to us more.

We are going to make stupid decisions around them.

We would agree with them when we would probably not agree with some of them that

we are just talking to on the phone and we actually couldn't see.

So why does style matter?

Because dressing well makes you more attractive.

You are more likely to have influence over others.

Now, don't abuse this but what I want you to do is start on the right foot.

When you're giving that presentation.

When you're trying to pitch you're non profit to those bankers.

And you dress the part. They trust you.

All of a sudden, you are more likely to get the loan and that's what I want you to see guys.

Next up, we've got selection bias.

So this is when you get into something, you start to notice it more.

Maybe it's really nice watches. Maybe it's nice shoes.

Whatever it may be, you start to notice.

Other men. With nice watches. Nice shoes.

And you start to say things to them. To compliment them.

And this is where it's key. Because when you get into the small details of men style.

You're going to find that guys who pay attention to this.

Often times, have reached a level of success.

Or they're go-getters.

They're often times more successful people

than those who don't pay attention to the details.

When you're at the airport. When you're sitting next to this guy.

And he's got a Rolex. A Patek Philippe. All of a sudden, you started to talk to him.

and next thing you know, you're getting his business card.

This is how connections happen when you start to notice these details.

it's really really easy guys and this is basically what is what it is

folks and that's why you want to take your time when you're doing these

reviews to be as detailed as you possibly can for these folks because

they're paying you good money you're getting paid $15 for a review you know

you're gonna be expected to be you know pretty detailed a lot of people don't

make that in an hour and I'm sure it's not going to take you an hour to write a

good review about an app you have to review check it over and look it over

and that's it I mean it's well worth your time and investment quite honestly

now the review on here I found was 3.2 and the reason why that is is what I

just explained to you in a little bit earlier in the beginning the dashboard

of the back-office for this app was really bad I mean I saw a lot of people

complaining about they didn't know where anything was and then know how to start

and where the apps right but if you look at the newer reviews then you know

majority of them like 95 percent of them say that's great they're making their

money things are phenomenal and ever since then obviously the score has gone

up I just don't think they are ready for the influx of how many people are

actually gonna want to do this app and I think it was a little bit overwhelming

for the creators of this and they actually since then have actually you

know cleaned it up basically and fixed it but what I really want you to do guys

is I want you to try this app I want you to leave your comments below like the

video but I want you leave your comments below because I want you to I want to

get your feedback in the video because Pill a lot of people I'm sure probably

and I eventually check this video out and I want to know it's worth their time

but from what I've seen and from what I've read it looks like it's a really

McKay told Sala he wanted to make 'lots of money' from £15m deal - Duration: 9:50.

British football agent Willie McKay told Emiliano Sala he wanted to make 'a lot of money' from his transfer before arranging his tragic flight to Cardiff, a leaked email has revealed

 In an extraordinary insight into the world of football transfers, McKay told the 28-year-old that he'd invented interest from rival Premier League clubs to get the deal with Cardiff City done

 McKay, 59, introduced himself to Sala on January 6, days before agreeing the £15 million transfer from French club Nantes by coldly saying he was not interested in the player as a person, adding: 'It's not sentiment, just business

'In a leaked email to French publication L'Equipe, the agent wrote: 'Emiliano, my name is Willie McKay

We are not interested in your personal belongings; finances, holidays, babysitting, it's not our business

'Listing multi-million pounds deals involving players moving from French clubs to top English sides including Chelsea and Arsenal, Mr McKay wrote: 'We make transfers! More than 600 until today, from Didier Drogba, to Anelka, Payet, Seri, Anguissa

Details of the arrangement emerged following the discovery of two cushions from the plane in which Sala is believed to have died following a crash into the English Channel

Mr McKay and his son Mark helped negotiate Sala's transfer to Cardiff, and then heard that Sala wanted to spend a day in Nantes seeing club officials and former teammates

Cardiff offered him a commercial flight for the trip, but Mr McKay offered him a private plane 'for free'

Mr McKay's choice as pilot was David Henderson, a 60-year-old who had flown light planes around the world, including the Piper Alpha PA-46 due to be used for the trip

But – for still unknown reasons – Mr Henderson drafted in another British pilot called David Ibbotson, 59

'Do you want to spend a weekend in Nantes?', Mr Henderson told Mr Ibbotson, a part-time pilot who had admitted to friends on Facebook a few days earlier that he was a 'bit rusty' at flying

Mr Ibboston, who was known to have financial problems, is said to have told Mr Henderson that he had lost his credit card

This led to Mr Henderson having to pay for Mr Ibbotson's hotel in France, and for the flight itself

Mr Henderson's details were accordingly given to officials at Nantes-Atlantique airport, leading to initial fears that he had been piloting the doomed flight

In fact it was Mr Ibbotson who took control of the plane, and aborted three attempted take offs in terrible weather

An hour into the flight, Mr Ibbotson told air traffic control he was reducing altitude from 5,000 to 2,300 feet over the Channel Islands

It later emerged Cardiff's record signing had expressed fears for his life in messages sent to close friends

In a WhatsApp voice note, he said in Spanish: 'I'm on a plane that looks like it's going to fall apart

'Aviation experts said the chartered single-engine aircraft should not have been risking the flight in icy conditions

Why Arsenal are set to make money without selling a player this Deadline Day - Duration: 1:38.

  Arsenal have had an indifferent January transfer window.   There have been some positives - noticeably the club bringing in Barcelona star Denis Suarez on loan and ongoing approaches for other players

 But it has also been pretty frustrating too for Gunners supporters, with Unai Emery coming out early in the press to announce the Emirates club have no money to spend on new recruits

  Things could be about to get better financially for Arsenal however, should some transfer activity on the continent go their way
