Oz Show on Thursday, January 31, and she spoke candidly about her potentially fatal fish allergy about a month after almost losing her life because of it

 In December 2018, the 48-year-old ate some soup that, unbeknownst to her, had fish in it

It triggered a reaction that caused Frankel to fall unconscious and require emergency medical treatment

Following the harrowing ordeal, the entrepreneur credited first responders and an EpiPen with saving her life

 During her chat with Dr. Mehmet Oz, Frankel admitted the incident has made her fearful

"Thank you for having me," she told the talk show host. "I've been home a lot and this is the only time I'm really coming out to do any television, because I wanted to actually share this message and get your advice and your expertise

"  When Dr. Oz, 58, asked the Skinnygirl founder how she's been feeling, she said she's "doing better," but wasn't really prepared for the aftermath of her heath scare

"I didn't think that it would be such a recovery process. I think people sort of just think you slap an EpiPen and then life goes on," she explained

"It's definitely a scary thing."  The reality star, who said she's had this fish allergy for her "whole entire life" and experienced a series of milder reactions in the past, is still coming to terms with how serious her aliment can be

"Now I realize that it is a big deal," she told Dr. Oz, later adding that she feels "a little bit of shame" when even simple restaurant outings result in unwanted attention because of her dietary restrictions

 "It's crazy. I don't like to be alone anymore," she explained to the Food Can Fix It author, according to Page Six

"I don't want to be at restaurants alone, and I'm not that type of person. It's very scary

It changes your whole entire life."  Since the December ordeal, Frankel has had two additional scares involving fish being served on flights she was taking or about to take

"You can't write this. Now another airline is serving cooked salmon for my next flight," she tweeted regarding the second plane mishap

"I have contacted them multiple times to no avail. I guess I'll have to take another poll w my cabin

BC everyone is dying to eat cooked fish on a plane."  The Dr. Oz Show airs weekdays

After staying one week in capital city of Sri Lanka to extend our visa

We started to have journey to south side of Sri Lanka where we are gonna stay longer

We woke up early in the morning and say good bye to our landlord

after that to catch the 6 am train we went to fort railway train station

Our journey was going to be on see side for 4 hour in the train

which was exciting us a lot

We've been on journey already for 1 hour

it's going pretty well so far

Lena slept for half hour

I was shooting in that time

I will sleep when we get to new home

3 hours left

House also in a really nice place I'm so excited about it

after seeing amazing views and landscapes

we reached to our new house in beach town

and this is our new house

it reminds me my old village house back in Turkey

here is a small town with beautiful beaches

in my village rock climbing was famous in here surfing is really famous

you can see people surfing in everywhere

now our landlord preparing us a breakfast I'm gonna go there

breakfast is really delicious it's included in the price

to work more on computer and not to lose time we decided to have place with breakfast so we dont have to cook early in the morning

also the price was affordable with breakfast

I'm gonna show you the house in a bit

I can also talk about price

in sri lanka most of the thing cheap for us

I cant imagine for European people (I'm from turkey btw) this talk because of the currency)

When I go out most of the tourist from europe

when I say turkey they dont even know about it

it's like the same for us I also didnt know Sri lanka until 2016

so they dont know where my country is not much people came here from our countries

in this house in for years there was only one turkish came

there is no electricity in the house now something happen dont know what

Because of mosquitos in the beds you can see this

we have a small kitchen here

It works pretty well for us

and there is the bathroom

this time all villa belong to us

our landlord stays there

we are also staying with local people here

there is one lives there and up the hill there is one more house

heer is our street

we are gonna get bus and go the first beach

ıt's gonna take like 5 minutes

the price of the bus 14 rupi

it is like 10 cent per person

During shutdown, U.S. quietly moved ahead with oil leases near sacred land - Duration: 5:34.

U.S. land managers will move forward in March with the sale of oil and gas leases that include land near Chaco Culture National Historical Park and other sites sacred to Native American tribes

 The sale comes as Democratic members of Congress, tribal leaders and environmentalists have criticized the federal Bureau of Land Management for pushing ahead with drilling permit reviews and preparations for energy leases despite the recent partial government shutdown

They also questioned whether the agency would be able to adequately review the land that's up for bid and whether it would consider protests to the move

 Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) said in an email that he's concerned about the latest attempt to lease potentially culturally significant land in New Mexico without a more comprehensive plan in place

 "It's a mistake that while critical public services were shuttered for 35 days during the government shutdown, BLM still moved forward with this opaque process," Udall said

 Agency spokeswoman Cathy Garber said officials decided to push back the lease sale by a couple of weeks to accommodate a public protest period that was delayed because of the shutdown

The agency quietly confirmed on its website that it would accept comments starting Feb

11 and that the sale was scheduled for March 28.  Depending on the outcome of the protest period, it's possible for the agency to withdraw the land in question, including nine parcels near Chaco, a world heritage site with massive stone structures, kivas and other features that archaeologists believe offered a religious or ritualistic experience

 In all, more than 50 parcels in New Mexico and Oklahoma will be up for bid.  "We cannot help but protest what appears to be an intentional bias in the favoring of oil and gas development over other interests," former Acoma Pueblo Gov

" He called for the upcoming lease sale to be delayed.  Paul Reed with Archaeology Southwest said the informal buffer should be adopted as part of the management plan because scientists have barely scratched the surface when it comes to studying and understanding Chaco
