What should I write down after the crash?
One thing to keep in mind during every stage of your insurance claim against the driver
that hit you: If you don't document it, you risk that it didn't happen.
It doesn't matter that you had terrible bruising from the seatbelt.
It doesn't matter that you had pains on your body unless you document it.
You can document it yourself.
There are medical care providers, ambulance personnel, police- all these people will be
showing up and they will be writing things about your case.
Your only opportunity, however, to make sure it gets expressed the way you experienced
it is for you to keep your own notes.
It's better to document early, document often.
You have to prove your case.
Your case is never going to be any better than your documentation and the attorneys
that you choose to help you present it.
