G'day fellas, how're you goin'?

- He's cosplaying that AGAIN?? - She only cosplays THOSE kinds of characters

- oh they're nothing like the character, why do they choose to cosplay that?

HmmhrmhrmhrmHRM, why indeed?

Anyone can cosplay whatever they feel like, but why do we choose to cosplay certain

characters or even certain costumes to cosplay? Even if you haven't thought

about it too much there are a few reasons why! So in today's video, I

wanted to reveal to you these reasons and discuss why we choose to cosplay the

things that we do. You think you already know the answer? Well, let's find out!

Now the first reason that you choose to cosplay the things that you do

is because you love the character or the series that it's from. When we find a

TV series, a movie or an anime that we really like everyone's got different

ways of showing how much they love it.

Yeah I'm looking at you, ya kids with a big, sexy hug pillow!

But hey, some buy pillows, some buy figurines, some like to

wear it on a t-shirt and some of us like to cosplay as them! You know, we're gonna say things like:

- oh my god I look the same as that character! - oh my god I really resonate with them,

they're just like me! - I really admire her I want to be just like her!

Now we tend to like certain characters or even real-life

people based on the qualities that they possess. You know this could be, we could

just look up to them and admire them, or we could really resonate with their

thoughts and beliefs or we could really relate to their living situation and see

how similar it is to ours or even we could just fall in love with them as a

character just for who they are! And love for a character can even extend to the

TV series, movie or anime that the character is from in the first place. Now

typically it's going to be a series that either resonated or challenged your

beliefs really strongly or it's one that's had a really huge emotional

impact on you. You know what I'm talking about it's the shows that have made you

laugh ridiculously at something stupid, something that's made you motivated to

become something amazing or those shows that have made you absolutely, utterly

cry your heart out over something that's happened - especially during the last

episode. But whether it's an entire series or just a particular character,

fallling in love with either of things on a really deep

level is the first reason that you're gonna be cosplaying certain characters.

And the second reason you'll choose to cosplay what you do is because you love

the design. Now you might not even know anything about the series or the characters

but you were just walking along one day or browsing the internet one day and

you spotted a character and you said to yourself: that looks awesome I want to

make that! And then suddenly you're looking at this character costume really really

intently thinking through your head all this mumbo-jumbo magic about how the

hell you're gonna make it! I mean sometimes in the first place it's

the character and the costume design anyway that's the selling point. You know you

might have been on the look for a series to watch, or you've been looking for a

costume that could really challenge your cosplay making skills.

Or maybe you saw an outfit which you thought, ''damn I'd look really good at that!''

Or if you're anything like me you've been keeping your eyes peeled for

something really complicated to make for an upcoming cosplay competition. But hey,

as a cosplayer loving the design of an outfit is the only reason you need to

make it! Now if you didn't love a series, you didn't love the character, you didn't

even like the costume design, is there any other possible reason that you'd actually

cosplay something? And there is ONE more reason why you'd choose to cosplay

something and that's because you love your friends! Maybe your friends needed

just one more person to complete the whole gang from the series that they all

really loved. Maybe you want to surprise a friend by cosplaying a character that

you know that they really love! Or maybe your friends want to dress you up in a

character that they thought that you really suited. Whatever the reason,

cosplaying this character obviously wasn't your first preference because it would

have either been on your to-do list already or you probably would have

already made the costume yourself. But even if you didn't know or like the

series or character, you still cosplay it anyway because it promises to be a lot

of fun. And there you have it: three reasons why you choose to cosplay the

things that you do. Now as i've explained in a previous video I'm not a really big

advocate of making a costume just to fit in with a bunch of people or try to

please somebody else, but when you're making a costume as a solo project or with a

group of friends I think as long as you're making it purely because you

actually REALLY want to do it, you're always gonna have a great time making it no matter what.

So what cosplay are you making at the moment and why are you making it?

Is it because you like the design? Is it because you like the character? Or are

you making it with a bunch of friends? Let me know in the comments below, I'd love to

see what you guys are up to! And honestly thanks to anybody who does

put a comment in any of my videos, I really enjoy reading the comments that

anybody puts out there about what you guys get up to! I obviously don't get the

chance to catch up with everybody regularly at a convention, so it's really

cool to be able to just chat for a bit here! Once again, thanks so much for watching

guys, really appreciate it! And as always, I will catch you in another video soon! Bye!

Why is Right View called Right View? - Duration: 2:23.

Why is it called right view? Why is right view called right? what makes it right?

it makes us happy okay yeah it's the direction to enlightenment and what is

enlightenment? next person so yeah we call it right

view because it leads towards this state of ending suffering the cessation of

suffering and in a way we can say that it is said to be right because it is in

line with reality but for a start it is just we are just trying it our yeah

do you know for sure that this actually leads to end of suffering how many of

you know for sure? Don't know right? yeah that's why it's only called view is

not a fact yet for us anyway. For us is just a view yeah

and it's supposed to point there and so we call it right so the question is or

rather that the point is while right view is the start it is just a direction

it doesn't mean that you are already there but you must at least know this direction

yeah which is what the Buddha observed for himself and then established as the

way that can point us to us and of suffering

Why it is so hot and how Wales compare to the rest of the world - Duration: 3:46.

Wales was officially the hottest part of the UK on Tuesday with temperatures of 30

6C in Porthmadog, Gwynedd .  The same spot registered 31.9C on Wednesday.  Elsewhere 29

4C was seen in Cardiff and 25.7C in Mumbles.  The glorious weather has been with us since the weekend and, according to the Met Office, doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon

So why is it so hot?  According to a Met Office spokeswoman the reason it is so got is to do with high pressure

"We have had high pressure above the UK since last week," she said.  "Think about it acting like a lid on the atmosphere

It is very stable air. When we get high pressure the ground heats up and rises.  "A lower pressure air mass allows cloud to grow and further systems to come in

"The high pressure blocks any rain coming through and limits cloud growth.  "Any cloud that do develop are unlikely to be rain bearing because air is stable

"  Interestingly this current hot weather is slightly different to other sunny weather systems as it is homegrown

For example a heatwave in 2016 was caused by the "Spanish Plume" – a plume of warm air travelling from Spain

But that is not the case this year.  "In other cases where we have seen warm weather it has come from elsewhere," said the Met Office spokeswoman

"This one is homegrown. As there are no clouds it is building up.  "We had the longest day of the year so the sun is at its strongest

"It is just dry and very sunny with the heat building up day.  "We had a very similar spell last summer about this time

It was June 17-21 where temperatures exceed 30C for five days in a row."   How hot is it elsewhere?  The Welsh capital is set to peak at 28C on Wednesday

This makes it hotter that all of these places:  Algiers (23C)  Athens (27C)  San Marino (25C)  Gibraltar (25C)  Tunis (27C)  Porthmadog at over 31C is hotter than:  Madrid (30C)  Rome (28C)  Dakar, Senegal (29C)  Lisbon (22C)
