Liverpool's 3-0 away win at Watford on Saturday had the feel of potential Premier League champions,

but they know they'll have to keep up the pace to dethrone reigning champions Manchester

City.

Jurgen Klopp's side remain unbeaten after the opening 13 league games and have racked

up 33 points in that time.

There has certainly been a major improvement made by the Reds this campaign and it isn't

in attack, as they were equally as emphatic in the final third during the last season.

But Liverpool's new-found resilience in defence is allowing them to grind out victories

and goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been a key difference in the early season success.

Liverpool splashed out £67million to sign Alisson in the summer from Roma and the £120,000-a-week

ace has made quite the impact.

The Brazil international has conceded just five league goals all season and has managed

to solve a problem area in Klopp's side.

He is certainly a world-class goalkeeper that is proving himself at Anfield and looks at

total ease in-between the sticks.

The 26-year-old was mainly quiet in the win over Watford at the weekend, but did what

all elite shot-stoppers do by popping up with one crucial save to help turn the tide of

the game.

Alisson remarkably denied Watford's Roberto Pereyra following his effort in the penalty

area and his contributions are helping turn Liverpool into the real deal.

Alisson Ramses Becker, known as Alisson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays

as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Liverpool and the Brazil national team.

Alisson began his career at Internacional, where he made over 100 appearances and won

the Campeonato Gaúcho in each of his four seasons at the club.

In 2016, he completed a €7.5 million transfer to Roma where he initially served as understudy

to Wojciech Szczęsny before breaking into the starting line-up.

In July 2018, Alisson signed for Liverpool for a initial fee of €62.5 million, which

could rise to €72 million.

Alisson represented Brazil at various youth levels before making his senior international

debut in 2015 whereafter he represented the nation at the Copa América Centenario in

2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Jurgen Klopp has

confirmed that Joe Gomez should be available for Liverpool's clash with Paris Saint-Germain,

as well as next weekend's Merseyside derby.

Gomez missed Liverpool's 3-0 victory away to Watford on Saturday after sustaining a

minor ankle injury in training and Dejan Lovren came in to replace the 21-year-old alongside

Virgil van Dijk at Vicarage Road.

The Reds are preparing to take on PSG for their crucial Champions League tie in Group

C on Wednesday evening and Klopp will be desperate to field his first-choice centre-back partnership

in the French capital.

Liverpool also host bitter rivals Everton in the Premier League next weekend and Gomez

is expected to be back to match fitness for both games.

Asked about Gomez's injury after the defeat of Watford, Klopp replied: 'In the last

second of yesterday's session, he got a little knock.

'We thought: "Come on, let's bring him and have a look in the morning."

He said it was 80 per cent better, that's good.

So he's no doubt for Wednesday.

'But we had Trent and Dejan at 100 per cent, so we didn't have to make a decision.

'It was clear he could be rested and can recover more, and then he is ready for Wednesday

again.'

Second-half goals from Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino sealed

the win for ten-man Liverpool – following Jordan Henderson's sending off – and Klopp

praised the manner of his side's display.

'It was a really mature performance.

I am not sure if we had the ball in the past when we've played here, they were much more

open games – especially the 3-3 we played here,' he said.

'We've never controlled games like this in the manner we do it now.

I like that.

I know a few people miss one or two situations which we had in the last season, especially

the second part of the season.

'We had these games last year, we had to play against teams like this.

It is not fair to compare it with other games.

'In the similar games last year, we were not that convincing.

It was not that clear that we controlled the games, but we controlled this game.

They had moments, they had counter-attacks, you cannot avoid that.

'Ben Foster has the ball, long one, and then it's 50-50 or 60-40 for Watford.

It is difficult.

Controlling it, staying in that mood, being positive in a situation, that's new for

us and I like it a lot.

'It was 3-0 and I don't think any Liverpool supporter wants another result or another

performance.

It's just exactly how it had be in our situation because we have to win football games week

in, week out.

'I am really happy about the way we did it.'

The Difference ALL IN Makes - Duration: 6:04.

Hello again, Village family.

This is Pastor Tim.

We just launched our ALL IN campaign, and I've already had a few people ask what impact

ALL IN will make this year.

Did you ever think about that?

What difference your generosity to ALL IN will make?

Last year, your ALL IN giving helped us finish all our ministries strong for the year.

Kids, students, and adults all received robust ministry and discipleship without funding-related interruptions.

But even beyond that, your ALL IN participation enabled three separate facility updates, the

adoption of a new campus, and a life-changing gift to one of our supported ministries in Liberia.

The Sugar Grove Campus saw several facility updates - our main restrooms, lobby, and upstairs

were remodeled to demonstrate warm hospitality to our guests and church family.

At the Aurora Campus, our stage was updated to enable a more visible screen, and a more

practical and modern platform.

The Aurora Campus also received a brand new, energy efficient roof through a combination

of All-In funds and insurance funds.

And at the Plano Campus our entrance, signage, and stage all got an overhaul to be ready

for the growth God has brought through our grand opening.

And to tell you the truth, your ALL IN generosity last year is what God used to even make the

adoption of our Plano campus possible.

And what a different that has made in lives in the Plano community as the campus is reaching

more than twice as many people as it was last time this year.

Your ALL IN generosity really has been life-changing at Village.

But I want to tell you about another way your All-In gifts have made a huge difference.

One of our missionary friends in Liberia had a serious and seemingly impossible need that

was impacting his family and the ministry we support there - and your gifts were a Godsend

to meet that need.

Take a look at this story that our recent short-term Liberia team captured last month.

There you have it. These are some incredible blessings I get to share with you.

It's powerful to see the doors God has opened as we are generous with what He's entrusted

to us, His stewards.

Where will God use the All-In gifts we present to him this month?

It will go to strengthen our current ministries and outreach and allow us to get ready for

the doors we believe God is opening, even now.

I couldn't have told you last year this time all the great ways He was planning to use

our gifts in 2018, but it sure has been amazing to see Him unfold those plans.

And I can't wait to see how God will work in our midst and use our All In gifts in 2019

to further his Kingdom work in the world around us!

Thanks for your life-changing generosity!

Thanks for being ALL IN.

Average high school graduate roasts Donald Trump on difference between climate change and weather - Duration: 5:50.

Average high school graduate roasts Donald Trump on difference between climate change and weather

An 18-year-old from India who graduated high school with self-described average marks went viral with a tweet schooling President Donald Trump on the difference between weather and climate.

Trump, 72, tweeted on Wednesday about record cold temperatures striking the US on a single day, followed by a phrase implying that such an occurrence disproves global warming.

Astha Sarmah from the city of Jorhat in the state of Assam responded throwing so much shade at the US Commander in Chief, that her tweet was liked almost 15,000 times and retweeted more than 3,000 times.

Experts also weighed in, with one climate scientist calling the president a dangerous clown for his remarks.

Trumps tweet, which was liked nearly 110,000 times and retweeted close to 28,000 times, read:

Brutal and Extended Cold Blast could shatter ALL RECORDS - Whatever happened to Global Warming?

When Sarmah read that, she fired back, writing:

I am 54 years younger than you. I just finished high school with average marks. But even I can tell you that WEATHER IS NOT CLIMATE. If you want help understanding that, I can lend you my encyclopedia from when I was in 2nd grade. It has pictures and everything.

Sarmah was pointing out to the president that the temperature on a single day cannot be compared to global warming, which is defined by Dictionary.com as, an increase in the Earths average atmospheric temperature that causes corresponding changes in climate and that may result from the greenhouse effect.

Climate, itself, is defined as, the composite or generally prevailing weather conditions of a region, as temperature, air pressure, humidity, precipitation, sunshine, cloudiness, and winds, throughout the year, averaged over a series of years.

NASA has helped break the interplay between these concepts down on an even more basic level.

In most places, weather can change from minute-to-minute, hour-to-hour, day-to-day, and season-to-season. Climate, however, is the average of weather over time and space, the website for the federal agency reads.

An easy way to remember the difference is that climate is what you expect, like a very hot summer, and weather is what you get, like a hot day with pop-up thunderstorms.

Global warming, therefore, is just one indicator of climate change, which is defined by Dictionary.com as, a long-term change in the Earths climate, especially a change due to an increase in the average atmospheric temperature.

There are many other observable changes to the Earths climate, resulting from globally increasing greenhouse gas concentrations.

Those changes have been explained by the US Global Change Research Programs Fourth National Climate Assessment, Volume II, which was released ahead of schedule on Friday, as follows:

High temperature extremes and heavy precipitation events are increasing. Glaciers and snow cover are shrinking, and sea ice is retreating. Seas are warming, rising, and becoming more acidic, and marine species are moving to new locations toward cooler waters. Flooding is becoming more frequent along the US coastline. Growing seasons are lengthening, and wildfires are increasing. These and many other changes are clear signs of a warming world.

The report is mandated by the Global Change Research Act of 1990 to be delivered to Congress and the president every four years.

Former Vice President Al Gore also lashed out at the Trump administration accusing the president of seeking to bury the report on climate change by releasing it on Black Friday.

Gore has become an outspoken advocate of the need to take steps to prevent global warming. Gore became a prominent spokesman on the climate debate with the 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth.

Unbelievably deadly and tragic wildfires rage in the west, hurricanes batter our coasts — and the Trump administration chooses the Friday after Thanksgiving to try and bury this critical US assessment of the climate crisis, Gore said in a statement on Friday.

The President may try to hide the truth, but his own scientists and experts have made it as stark and clear as possible.

Even in light of all of this evidence, there were still some who argued against the point raised by Sarmah, who had demonstrated a solid understanding of the relationship between weather and climate.

A Twitter user whose bio listed the name Tony Baggs wrote on Thursday:

lol is there really 2100 ppl that dont realize this chick is completely wrong? A record setting cold blast would indeed be considered CLIMATE bc your  (sic) considering the weather over a great passage of time.

Sarmah didnt point out the grammatical error in the reply from the person who confused the use of your in its possessive form and youre as a contraction for the words you and are.

But she did respond by restating the point she made quite clearly in her first tweet, which was that one day of record-setting cold temperatures does not allow for the dismissal of aggregate data that shows average temperatures are rising in the world.

I believe what Mr. President wished to imply is that this Arctic cold blast contradicts the theory of "global" warming, she wrote.

I think, just because there will be an Arctic cold blast, it doesnt mean that global warming is not a thing. I may be wrong, but Im just voicing my opinion.

Sarmah isnt wrong about global warming existing, but she is wrong about one thing. Its not her opinion. Global warming is an observable, scientific phenomenon.

Michael Mann, a scientist at Pennsylvania State University, told HuffPost:

This demonstrates once again that Donald Trump is not an individual to be taken seriously on any topic, let alone matters as serious as climate change. He is a clown, a dangerous clown.
