Is there anybody who didn't watch this movie?

I mean, spider-man new universe!

It is a really great movie so please don't miss it

Anyway it's not what I want to say today

I went out with my sister and my mother

I thought it was the best timing to tell you guys

The biggest reason why all Koreans are.....

how to say.......

DYING?!

Not even kidding....

From a few days ago

I'm getting a lot of government warning messages

I don't know how you say this type of messages in English

but in Korean we say "jaenan moonja"

and "jaenan" means disaster

or catastrophe. Catastrophe(unsure about pronunciation)

and "moonja" is a message

so whenever there's something important or something dangerous happening

the government send us the warning messages

and lately Koreans are getting a lot of messages

about the air pollution! Yes great!

so it's basically telling us that we should stay home possibly

and if you have to go out,

wear the mask

but do you know what the problem is here?

You can't actually use the regular mask that you might think

You should wear the mask that can filter the fine dust

Those type of masks usually costs like 3 dollars to 10 dollars, or even more

and surprisingly those are disposable

so it means only one-time use!

I personally bought in bulk and I'm sharing masks with my family

there is actually one more thing that I want to show you

This is the air purifier

Must-have gadget nowadays in Korea!

I have this in my room

and there's the better one in the living room

it costs a lot but you know it's like...

it's directly connected to your health I mean.... The air!

So what can I do? I just bought it

When it's the green like this it means it's fine to breathe

But when it's the red, just like this it means um..........

Just die..... :D

so right now we are so ready to go out

and yes I'm wearing the mask

Today we're planning to buy the air purifier filter

and going to bowling!

let's go out and breathe fine dust!

I want to buy the air purifier which can be used in the cars

Just checking the air condition with the app and oh yes!

It says never go out GREAT!

I don't know if you can tell or not

but the sky is very grayish and blurry

It's not because of the cloud or anything else

We can't see the sky because of the fine dust in the air

If you can't really tell the difference

Here's the footage of clean air sky

now you can tell the difference right?

That's the sun but it's so blurry, isn't it?

So blurry because of the fine dust!! Oh my god....

I hate wearing the mask because

it leaves the hideous looking wrinkles just like this

Anyway as I said I wanted to buy the air purifier filter today

But I couldn't buy it because it was out of stock!

I just got the information that it costs around like $60

and I need to come back here a few days later

Just a casual Starbucks time as usual!

Oh by the way this video is NOT sponsored by Starbucks

I'm kind of waiting for a Starbucks sponsor so please tell them

By the way in Korea we care about environment a lot

So we can't use any disposable plastic indoor anymore

we're using the glass mugs and the paper straw

For the earth

and oops! Got the warning message again

thank you obrigada obrigada

blurry moon

Bowling time!

Which one should I choose?

Try this one firstly

What number is this?

8kg

Nah it's too heavy

Gosh too heavy!!

I'll go for the second turn (sister)

I'll go first then (mom)

Then I'm the thrid!

oh my god my..... my bag is glowing!

oh my god

Spare~

Is she crazy? (sister)

Getting a pro tip from my mom

Oh my god what happened!

CCC is me over here and I got the first strike ever in my life!

Holy crap

~BTS~

77 score for me!

rip my nail :"(

now it's time to wear the mask again

I just came back home and let's see the number

The fine dust number

Oh my god! It's almost 400!!

I've never seen this number so far until today! (good air = under 50)

This is crazy

This was the living room so let's see my room

what's the number?

Oh my god.......

Just kill me!!!

Now I just came back home and

I have to cut my nail you know

My nails are like completely ripped off

Thank you so much for the bowling

Okay. Time to cut the nail

Time to cut the nail!

The reason I'm wearing..... Hello camera?

but the reason I am wearing the mask still

when I'm in the house it's because

do you see over here?

This purifier! The number!

It doesn't go down

Do you hear the sound?

How extreme it is?

I forgot what the life is about like

not having to buy the mask,

not having to buy the air purifier

Not even have to worry about the air condition, something like that?

Now my nails are good

now it's okay

one more thing to do now

I just got the gift

The gift!

No it's not coca-cola

Let me see

It says is a really mini tiny cutie small fridge

My boyfriend gave me this because of my Twitch stream

so you know

when ninja and other famous streamers are doing the stream

they are usually drinking something

Probably you know I'm gonna be the big streamer

NEVER

oh my god It's so cute!

it says coca-cola over here

I had no idea how to use this stuff because it says Chinese letters

Like this! So I asked my dear Chinese friend Wonyeh!

She told me that it can heat

and it can make it cold

and it can be used in the car

and it can also be used in the home

This is so good!

This is so cute if you open it like this,

there will be beverages

so many people asked me the reason

why we are suffering from the fine dust problem

and here it is

Most of fine dust is not only because of Korea

it's also because of our neighbor country, we all know, is China

But I'm not accusing that this is 100% their fault

I'm not saying that

I think this find dust is the problem for all of us

So many factories from all the countries are in China

and that's the reason why China has lots of factories make fine dust

you know everything is basically made in China

Just like something that I showed you earlier

so I really think this is a global problem

Really sadly Korea stays right next to China

so we are suffering from the fine dust problem

a lot more than the other countries

If you see this you can see the fine dust is coming from

China to Korea with the wind

I can't really believe people saying that

Korea's fine dust is only because of Korea

NO

Before this problem becomes the worldwide problem

we all need to try harder to save the ..... planet!!

seriously

Why do we get hiccups? - Duration: 6:02.

(ringing)

(beep)

- Hi it's Doug.

Hiccups, you get them, I get them,

but I got to wondering, do animals ever get hiccups?

Well see for yourself, check out these video clips.

(hiccups)

(hiccups)

(hiccups)

(hiccups)

(chirping)

(chirping)

(hiccups)

(hiccups)

(hiccups)

Someone named Dhara has a question about hiccups.

Let's give her a call now.

(ringing)

(beep)

- Hi Doug.

- Hi Dhara.

- I have a question for you,

why do we get hiccups?

- That's a great question.

Hiccups are annoying, (hiccups)

and kind of weird right?

We get used to the idea (hiccups)

of hiccups, but I mean think about it.

If you were sitting there talking to someone,

but all of a sudden started

saying an actual word, like popsicles.

And then as you're talking you just, popsicles.

What's so weird and frustrating about hiccups,

is the sound just suddenly comes out of you.

It's something you have no control over.

You've probably noticed that sometimes hiccups

happen after you eat or drink something too quickly.

But sometimes, it seems like they happen randomly

for no reason at all.

And everyone seems to have a favorite trick they use

to try to stop the hiccups.

One person I talked to said she does a handstand

in order to stop them.

And that at least for her it works every time.

Have you ever tried to stop the hiccups?

What's something you've tried or heard about?

Now would be a good time to pause the video and discuss.

Okay, you ready?

Well maybe one of the most surprising things

about hiccups is that there's no one way

that's been proven to stop them.

But why do they even happen?

What is it that's happening in your body

when you get hiccups?

The answer to this wasn't obvious until we had ways

to study what's going on inside your body.

Things like X-ray machines and MRIs that allows us

to see inside the body.

It turns out that what's happening has

to do with a muscle in your body.

When you think of muscles, you might think

of the ones in your arms.

But there's a muscle located in a surprising place,

the bottom of your chest.

It's called the diaphragm.

It's a large muscle too, it actually forms

a dividing wall between your chest,

that's this part of your body,

and your abdomen or belly.

The part of your body that contains these organs.

What does this muscle do?

Muscles are things you can flex.

You can cause them to tighten up or pull.

And not just to show off how strong you are.

You flex your muscles all the time,

like when you go to lift something with your arms.

In order to lift that thing, you have

to flex your arm muscles like your biceps right here.

Like all muscles, your diaphragm is something

you can flex too.

You can cause it to tighten up or pull.

But flexing your diaphragm isn't something you do

to lift things.

Instead, watch what happens when you flex your diaphragm.

Here I've made a little model of the human chest.

Here's the chest itself,

and inside there are your lungs.

This straw represents your throat.

Watch as I flex this diaphragm.

You see that?

Look what the lungs are doing here.

So you see flexing your diaphragm causes your lungs

to expand and contract.

This is how we breathe.

Our lungs need to us to constantly inhale

or pull in new air, and exhale

or push out old air that we're done with.

But the lungs by themselves can't do this.

That's what our diaphragm is for.

By using special tools like MRI machines and X-rays,

scientists were able to discover exactly

what happens when we get hiccups.

It turns out, even though most of the time you can

control your diaphragm muscle,

and decide when to breathe in or out.

Sometimes the muscle goes out of control.

It just suddenly flexes all on its own.

Normally when you breathe,

you can try this yourself and feel it.

The muscle flexes and relaxes nice and slowly.

But when you get the hiccups, the diaphragm starts

to behave weirdly.

It does very sudden flexes.

Flex, relax, like this, flex, relax.

Each time it flexes suddenly,

it very quickly forces air out of your lungs

which rushes through your throat and makes that familiar

hic sound when you hiccup.

Why would your diaphragm do this?

Why would it just suddenly start flexing.

That's maybe the most interesting thing

of all about hiccups.

And that's this, nobody knows.

Hiccups are truly a mystery.

No one, not even scientists or doctors have figured out

why the diaphragm has these sudden movements.

Or how to stop them from happening.

Luckily, for most of us when we do the hiccups,

they stop after a little while.

But one man is not so lucky.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records,

Charles Osborne from the U.S. state of Iowa

is said to have had the hiccups for nearly 68 years.

That's all for this weeks question.

Thanks Dhara for asking it.

Now for the next episode,

I reached into my question and chose three questions

submitted to me that I'm thinking about answering.

When this video's done playing, you'll get to vote on one.

You can choose from how do binoculars work?

How were the first roads made?

Or who invented football?

So submit your vote when the video's over.

I wanna hear from all of you watching.

There are mysteries all around us.

Stay curious, and see you next week.

Why I Love Kingdom Hearts - Duration: 7:54.

When was the last time you played a game that really affected you?

And, no, I'm not referring to a game that forced you to make a hard choice

Nor even the last time you laughed or cried during a cutscene.

I'm talking about the one that actually changed the way you think about your own life, and

the decisions you make every day.

One that stayed with you well after you put down the controller.

That has imprinted itself onto your mind long after you had finished playing it.

It's kind of surreal, because with each year that passes by, that type of feeling becomes

increasingly harder to find.

I suppose it's partly due to the fact that, the more you know the harder it is to find

something that really makes you reflect on who you are, and who you want to be.

So, today, I'm talking about Kingdom Hearts and the effect it's had on my life.

Now if you've seen my review of Kindgom Hearts, or listened to our podcast, you've

likely heard me talk about how much I enjoy the Kingdom Hearts series.

But to this day, I don't know if I've articulated well enough just exactly why I

love this series so much.

Lots of people heap praise onto its art style and voice acting, it's incredible music

and lighthearted nature.

But, for me, it's one of the most interesting and poignant video games I've ever had the

privilege of playing.

Only a handful of games have ever affected me on such an intimate level.

Of all these games, Kingdom hearts

kind of seems a bit out of place.

I mean, it's just some kid visiting a bunch of disney princesses as he explores space

with Goofy and Donald Duck.

I mean, seriously, how much depth can possibly be found in a story like that?

But before we dive into that, me to tell you all a little bit about myself.

When I was younger, I was often caught by my classroom teachers staring off into space.

They'd ask me questions, and like that kid from Boy Meets World, all of the sudden I

had to pretend that I was paying attention the entire time.

I was frequently embarrassed by things like that, but I couldn't help it, because in

my mind, all I wanted to do was go somewhere else.

I would try to pay attention, but often found myself in another world, fighting off demons,

saving entire cities, bravely exploring forests and mountains and valleys.

I just wanted to go somewhere and have an adventure!

But when it came down to it, when the chances to do something fun and exciting showed up,

I would run away and hide.

I didn't want to go exploring forests or mountains, not even on hiking trails, because,

well, what if a mountain lion showed up?

Or a bear?

What would I do then?

I was afraid of heights, afraid of new things, afraid of change, afraid of people…

I just… didn't get out and do much when the opportunities came.

I think that's why I liked playing video games so much I could actually go out and

do the things that my soul longed for, but that my body just couldn't muster the courage

to do.

I think that's why I was drawn towards games like Ocarina of Time; stories about young

kids doing big things.

Those are the kinds of games I often gravitated towards.

As I grew older, I started playing more adult games and allowed the ones from my childhood

to become little more than fond memories.

Relics of my past and examples of how childish I used to be.

Then, in 2013, I found Kingdom Hearts.

I played the original PS2 version and had a great time.

The controls were a little wonky and the cutscenes seemed kind of clunkily edited, but it was

a fun, all things considered.

I remember playing for a while and getting to the Alice in Wonderland world and thinking,

"Man, this better not just be me replaying watered down versions of disney stories over

and over."

To be honest, that's kind of what it is… but that's not ALL it is.

Because there are beautiful moments like this () when the depth of these stories hit Adult

Casen in a way that even kid Casen wouldn't have felt.

Hour after hour, the more I played the game, the more I interacted with Sora, and Donald,

and Goofy, the more I started to feel an unusual attachment to them.

These were my people.

A kid, a duck, and a … wait, what is Goofy?

Is he like, a dog?

No, because he has pluto!

Pluto is a dog

Umm… well, maybe we'll just try and work this one out later.

It just so perfectly recreates the sense of wonder and excitement that comes with meeting

new friends, having adventures and working through problems.

I mean, this isn't unusual for a game to portray, but Kingdom Hearts does it in such

a way that makes it feel more intimate.

I mean, it's not the overarching story with the fate of the universe hanging on a thread

that has this impact, but rather the one on one moments.

The journey shared among friends who've been through so much together, all the while

keeping each others spirits high along the way.

In sharing the highs and lows of such a crazy and twisted adventure through familiar landscapes,

these characters form an unbreakable bond.

The essence optimism and even confusion of youth is captured so spectacularly by the

creators of these game.

Maybe it's just that…

I'm kind of like Sora in a way.

Some of the hardest and worst times of my life I can look back on and smile.

I have a bit of a selective memory, I guess.

Times where friends were upset with me and I was upset with them, somehow, in my mind,

turn into just memories of us hanging out, living life and trying to get along.

Sora seems to be able to take his circumstances with an enviable amount of optimism.

Kind of like a kid.

The thing is, he's not just a kid, he's powerful.

And it's through his kindness that his true power shows.

Characters that are written like this tend to be some of the most relatable characters

for me.

Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender also comes to mind when (a fun loving kid who has

a tremendous amount of optimism, and the power to greatly help those around him).

The thing about Sora is, well, he forgets all the hard times.

He focuses on the positive, and becomes the kind of person I aspired to be like when I

was a kid.

Somehow, as I've grown up, I've kind of forgotten how to do some of those things.

I'm busier now, so it's harder for me to go out and help people; I've got people

who depend on me, so I don't take things as lightly or have as much mindless fun as

I used to; I've seen so much negativity and tragedy in the world to remain optimistic

and hopeful about the future… but when I play Kingdom Hearts, when I step into Sora's

shoes, I feel like I can get a glimpse of the person I used to be.

The fun loving optimistic kid who always tried to be there for his friends, and didn't

take life so seriously.

A kid full of hope and belief that he could change the entire world when he grows up.

A kid that became... me.

Someone who is, honestly, afraid to travel or have adventures or take risks or meet new

people.

I still feel like a hungry bear is watching me from afar anytime I travel 5 minutes outside

of civilization.

But Kingdom Hearts helps me to feel like I'm a kid again, but not just any kid.

The kid I aspired to be like when I was younger.

A kid like Sora.

Does the Bible say the Sabbath changed from Saturday to Sunday? - Duration: 1:52.

That's a great question, and I love the implication of the question, namely, that the Sabbath

did change.

Part of the problem we face in our time, is a lot of people think the Sabbath is entirely

passé.

One place I'd begin is with Revelation 1:10, where John says, "I was in the Spirit on the

Lord's Day."

For those who think that the Sabbath is completely ended with the coming of Jesus, and that all

days are alike in the new covenant, they misuse a statement of Paul, the fact that John says

there is a Lord's Day in the new covenant shows there is a day set apart in a unique

way for the Lord.

And so that's a place to begin.

I think Colossians chapter 2, which talks about the Sabbath being past shows that the

old Sabbath, "the Sabbaths," literally in Greek, are passed away, and then we look at

the Apostolic practice of frequently meeting on the first day and we begin to see this

pattern emerging from the New Testament, that whereas Jews rested on the seventh day, Christians

rest and worship on the first day, and then I think theologians have helpfully theologized

that.

They said, "When God created the world, He gave all mankind, not just His people, all

mankind before the fall, the Sabbath day to establish a pattern of work and then rest.

But with the coming of Christ, that pattern changes because Christ has brought that ultimate

rest to us.

So we begin with rest, and then we work out of that rest.

And I think that's a really helpful way of thinking about why God changed this so that

the resurrection of Christ is absolutely central in the life and experience of the church.
