Jordan Fisher's Girlfriend Ellie Woods: Who Is Fisher Dating? | Heavy.com

Jordan Fisher has had quite a couple of years.

He competed and won as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars.

Then, he went on tour with the DWTS performers.

He later became the co-host of the spin-off competition series Dancing With the Stars Juniors.

And then, he landed the lead role, playing Mark Cohen in Rent: Live on Fox.

And through it all, Fisher has been dating his girlfriend Ellie Woods, who is a University of Alabama student who J-14 reported that Fisher has been dating for two years.

In fact, according to Woods' Instagram account, they just celebrated their two-year anniversary.

Though the couple hasn't dated very long, they have known each other for years, as Fisher revealed to J-14 that, "We grew up in a theatre company together in Birmingham.

We were just friends.

It took us a long time for all of a sudden, like a year and a half ago we were kind of like 'Let's see what this could be.' I was working on "Hamilton" at the time.

I was like 'Come to New York.

I'll take you on some dates and let's just figure it out.' So, she came to New York, I took her on some dates, and that was it!" Fisher told Us Weekly that Woods studies clinical dietetics, which is definitely different from entertainment.

       .

Fisher previously said that he and his girlfriend try not to let more than 3 weeks go by without seeing each other, so one of them usually jumps on a plane to visit within that time.

But, even though the couple has to sometimes spend a lot of time apart, Fisher and Woods make it a point to share their love for each other on social media.

In one Instagram post, Fisher wrote to Woods, "Good Lord.

If only knew how to properly articulate how happy you make me … this would be so much easier.

You truly make me the happiest person on earth.

So grateful to have you and to have had you in my life for all these years.

Even more grateful that I get to call you my person.".

In late 2017, Fisher talked to Us Weekly about dating someone outside of the Hollywood scene and he said, "Dating is hard in general, especially in places like L.A.

and New York.

To be able to be with somebody that knows you for you and loves you for you …" He also said that most date nights are pretty simple.

This Twin Needs Dating Help - Duration: 7:25.

- I heard from a single woman and her sister

who said she's experienced a different level of frustration

looking for love because she's a twin.

So let me start, where do you typically go to meet men?

- I go everywhere.

So I'm usually out at some type of professional networking

or social event or community event,

I'm out everywhere.

The strange part about that is

typically, the guy who hits on me is usually,

it's really they're approaching her.

- And you have someone?

- I do. - She does.

- Yes, I do.

- Okay, so since guys approach you more than Stacy,

have you ever tried to play like, wing woman?

Set her up?

- I am always in wing woman mode.

When we enter into an event, or an outing,

or any place we are, I'm constantly scanning the room.

I know what Stacy's checklist is and

when I'm talking to these guys or engaging them,

I can tell in the first few minutes whether they

meet this checklist.

- Tell me a little bit about this checklist.

What are you looking for in a man?

- So it's not that complicated of a checklist.

Somebody who is

handsome, and somebody who knows how to handle

a successful woman,

someone who's emotionally stable, who likes to travel,

who likes to have fun, somebody who wants to have children.

(laughs)

Somebody who's looking to be in a serious relationship,

somebody who's family oriented.

(audience laughter)

- [Steve] You gotta know all--

- Just the basics.

- Them ain't basics.

- [Stacy] Those are just basics.

- Well, I mean, but let me ask you something.

The problem may be

you can't ask a guy this on the first date.

- Okay.

- Most men want a family.

Just not right as we're dating the first day.

- Okay.

- You know, he doesn't know that.

You try to get that uncovered right away?

- It's not necessarily if I'm asking them

do they want to have a family off the bat,

but some people know that they don't want to have children.

And I do.

- Well let's do it like this.

I found three great

single guys from Dallas

who we vetted

and we think might be a good match for you, Stacy.

- Okay.

- Are you ready to meet 'em?

- Yes, I am.

- Alright.

(audience applause)

Well gentlemen, come on out.

(audience woos)

So, Stacy, normally I'd just have you ask the question,

but since your sister Stephanie

is on this, I'm gonna let her ask these guys

some questions too.

So let's start with Stacy.

I'm gonna let you ask the first question.

What's your question for Jay?

- For what in life do you feel the most grateful for?

- I would say family.

I'd have to say I'm grateful for my family.

Just the support system

in the work that I do, working in teenagers

sometimes can be mentally and emotionally draining

and so I usually rely on them to fill me up

and so I'm really grateful for them.

(audience applause)

- So Stacey,

what is the most important lesson your parents taught you?

- Most important lesson my parents taught me,

from my mother, she taught me sacrifice.

So I learned from her how to sacrifice and

you know, and go for things that you really want.

And from my father, I learned

how to be clean.

My father was very clean.

He always dressed clean.

Not flashy, but neat and stylish

and those are the two traits I

took from my parents.

- Okay.

(audience applause)

- I thought you meant like he washed.

(laughter)

- That too, that too,

that too.

- Alright, Quintius,

do you see yourself in your current profession

for the rest of your life?

- I don't wanna work for somebody for the rest of my life.

So eventually, I wanna be incorporated doing the same field

I do and I wanna have my own team.

- Awesome.

(audience applause)

- Jay, what is the longest relationship

you've been in and why did it end?

- The longest relationship I was in was about

two and a half years.

It ended because I was young.

Just emotionally wasn't available.

And so I was in my twenties and so

it ended because it just wasn't emotionally ready.

- Stacey, what role does family play in your life?

- Family for me plays

two separate roles.

Like, my mother and my father and my siblings,

they motivate me to be a better person and to

make a better life for them.

And my children, I wanna inspire them to

believe that they could, you know,

be anythig and it doesn't matter when they do it,

just inspire them to show them that

you know, they can be whatever they wanna be.

(audience applause)

- Okay.

Are you a spiritual person?

And is it necessary for your partner

to share the same belief system as you?

- I think that it is necessary.

I'm a Christian and I feel like

the Bible says God is love and love is God so

if someone doesn't have that relationship with God,

they don't know how to love me.

(audience cheering)

(laughter)

- Okay.

I'ma ask a question for you.

Q, what do you do in your spare time?

- I think about the future a lot so

basically, I have to build toward what my end goal is.

I want everything to be set for my family

when I do have one.

That's pretty much what I think about a lot.

- Stacey, what about you?

- I love to do music.

I grew up playing the saxophone

so whenever I have time, I love to

put on a record and transcribe a solo

and just try to challenge myself through that.

- Jay, what do you do in your spare time?

- My spare time now, I'm currently writing my fourth book

and so I journal a lot,

take a lotta notes, do a lot of people watching

'cause I love to write, you know,

about my feelings and emotions and thoughts like that.

(audience cheering)

- Listen to me.

This is a great group of guys and I'm gonna tell you why.

'Cause if you listen to their answers,

you find out about

what's in their heart.

So who's it gonna be?

Is it gonna be Jay, Stacey, or Quintius?

Y'all talk it over and I'll handle this.

Look, women know how to whisper and everything.

Dudes would be so loud.

I think number two, dawg.

(laughter)

Oh, he got a sax, man.

We need somebody else in the band.

Well what about Quintius?

No, he'd be praying all the time.

(laughter)

(audience applause)

Ladies, the decision is yours.

We got twin sisters gonna pick it,

which one of these gentlemen will you be

getting to know better?

(suspenseful music)

- Steve, I'd like to get to know Jay.

(audience cheering)

- Jay, come on over.

Go over there and meet her.

That's good.

Thank you, Stacey, thank you, Q.

Good guys, man.

Congratulations.

Good luck.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

We'll be right back, everybody.

Jeannie Mai & Young Jeezy Spark Dating Rumors: She Admits He's 'Special' To Her After PDA-Filled Nig - Duration: 2:21.

'The Real' co-host Jeannie Mai responded to the fast-growing rumors that she's dating rapper Young Jeezy during the Jan. 28 episode of the talk show, after a picture of the two of them emerged on Instagram.

Newly single Jeannie Mai, 40, responded to rumors that she's dating rapper Young Jeezy, 41, on the Jan. 28 episode of The Real, and she didn't exactly deny it! "Look, you guys know that I'm multi-dating, right? And Jeezy and I hang out," the talk show host explained, after co-host Adrienne Houghton directly asked her about Jeezy. "He's very special to me and we don't really have a label to define what it is we're doing. We're just having a good time together."

Although Jeannie didn't come out and say it, it definitely seems like there's a little romance going on there! The two stars first ignited the dating speculation when one of Jeannie's friends, Malika Haqq, took to Instagram to post what seemed to be a couples pic from Jeannie's birthday bash. In the pic, which was captioned, "3's Company", Jeannie and Jeezy posed together with Malika and her partner, O.T. Genasis, and Lori Harvey and her partner, Trey Songz.

Jeannie has been through a lot over the past year so it's great to know she's spending time with Jeezy and enjoying life. She made a lasting impression back on Oct. 23, 2017, when she tearfully opened up about her friendly divorce from ex-husband Freddy Harteis on an episode of The Real. "To this day, I mean it honestly, he's the best man I know," she emotionally said in the episode. "I married him because he's like my dad. He's very loyal, he's very compassionate, so funny, an awesome guy and in our 13 years of being together there was never any lies, no betrayal, no cheating, nothing."

It will be interesting to see where Jeannie and Jeezy go from here but we'll definitely be paying attention and we wish them well!
