Hey guys, Ryan here at Signature Edits and today I'm going to show you why your

presets suck. That's right, we're gonna dive in and I'm gonna show you why they

aren't working the way that you thought they would when you bought them. Let's

dive in!

Have you ever had this happen to you? You find some awesome photographer who sells

presets, so you buy those bad boys, find a photo to develop and you hit those

presets, and they just look... like crap?Has that ever happened to you? Because if so

you're not alone. I've been there, and spent way too much money on presets that

didn't work. Let's jump in and look at a few photographers work and see why those

presets aren't working for you. And I'm gonna give it away right now

the reason your presets aren't looking the way you want them to look is because

the photo that you're working with isn't what those presets were designed to work

with and so let's head over here to some photographers let's take a look at their

work and see what I mean so this is mr. Daniel honey takes awesome landscapes

and I want you to look at the lighting and the composition of these photos

you're going to notice something it's consistent every single photo we have a

brilliant composition and fantastic lighting and that doesn't change the

photos where the lighting is less than Pleasant you're going to find the tones

are less unpleasant the Edit doesn't look quite as consistent it doesn't have

that wow factor of a well composed and well lit image that makes every every

difference guys and you're gonna see that no matter what genre we go into

let's go over for an India Earl let's look at her stuff she does weddings

portraits those of you who do the same thing you're going to notice in her

photos 99% of them were taken with fantastic light and they were well

composed so by that I mean the light is not harsh we don't see any dark shadows

on the ground beside this couple why because we got this nice fog bank behind

them or other photos we've got taken at sunset or with overcast skies they're

all taken at sunset sunrise or on a cloudy day when the light looks awesome

and you'll notice the photos that don't look as awesome well it's because the

light wasn't as great or the composition wasn't as great let's head over to

another photographer Dylan first he's the master of Moody Blues okay so this

guy is crazy consistent in his insta feed it's on point and you will notice

one thing he only features two colors blue and green and occasionally a pop of

orange and I want you to notice something about these images it's not

looking this way because he has some balla preset he puts on there and it

magically fixes things no it's because when you actually think about this image

before it was edited we had green trees with a green blue lake and we have an

orange dog and what happens after he edits it there's a

green trees greenish blue lake and orange dog and you're gonna see his work

is so consistent and the photos that aren't super consistent where we do have

these other tones other images and other lighting going on this is a little bit

harsh we've got some harsh shadows here and it just doesn't have the same vibe

so if you're looking to get your photos a specific look or vibe you've got to

think about the composition and about the lighting what colors are present

what distractions are there because when you look at these awesome photographers

you'll find that they get rid of distractions at all costs we've only got

this couple in this photo couple in the photo couple in the photo we don't have

you know a man selling ice cream in a truck in the background that's taking

away focus when we go to Daniel hunt stuff we have one central focus most of

the time in his images and the photos that don't have that central focus well

those aren't the wow shots let's head over look at queen of jet LAG's photos

and hers are awesome she's a very talented photographer but you'll notice

something very important here some of her photos don't have that wow factor so

for instance let's take a look at this one wow what a beautiful image and why

because we have a very consistent color theme here we've got pinks

oranges reds that's about it and her in the front okay there's no distractions

taking away from this photo everything is pointing towards her and adding

meaning to this photograph now if we look at a photo there's taken more a

little bit you know blogger style just something random hanging out photo this

does not have the same effect why because we've got competing colors in

the background we've got greens oranges blues purples reds we've got this napkin

fork knife cups all these things are detracting from the photo there isn't

the same focus and symmetry and composition and color in addition we've

got really harsh light this was taken probably in the middle of the afternoon

when the background is very blown out we've got some harsh shadows and it just

doesn't have the same look so that's it guys if you were in Lightroom and you're

finding that your presets just look like crap it doesn't work well the first

thing you should look at is what photo are you working with to begin with

does your photo have really harsh light or was it taken on a flattering day do

we have tons of different colors going on and really dark darks and greens that

are going to make the skin tones look funny or do we have a beautiful

flattering photo so let me just show you this we've got these presets here and

they all look like upon this photo why because it was taken

with really harsh light and so we're going to have to play around a lot to

fix this and get it to a place where we liked the way that it looks okay so I

could do some different things here play with the contrast maybe bring my shadows

up it's not looking awesome I'm gonna be honest just doesn't look that great now

if I head over here to another photo very similar I mean it's a portrait at

the same time but you'll notice look at their skin tones we don't have the harsh

shadows going on in this image that we did in our first

shot it's taken on a sunny day however they're in the shade so the photo is so

much less busy we don't have the distractions of the flowers all around

them and we also don't have those green leaves reflecting on their skin so their

skin tones are a lot better now when I apply presets look at that they all look

great same presets totally different result so

if you are wondering why your presets suck take a look at the photos

themselves work on mastering the basics of your photography your color your

lighting your composition you'll find once you start mastering those things

and improving those things your presets magically start to get better who would

have thought so that is my tip for you if you are editing in Lightroom you want

to take your editing to the next level the first thing that you should focus on

is are my photos at the top level that they can be I hope this was helpful for

with people who are well balanced in

life this type of people are having good

common sense and they are generally good

in listening others they are fun-loving

and they love to interact with others

especially with people close to them in

general they are very positive in nature

thin upper lip they are very special

type with a great capability and the

ability to convince others they are born

leaders and they possess a sound

analytical mind and logical ability

because of their abilities they are

capable of overcoming any obstacle but

individually they are very difficult to

maintain relation with

puffy and small lips at a fast glance

they seem to be egoistic sort of person

but actually they are very much opposite

in nature they are very caring and also

sympathetic in nature they listen to

others and they have the great ability

to guide others in the right direction

upper lip bigger than lower lip these

people are very intelligent and charming

they are very dramatic too because of

their personality they can very easily

win confidence and the trust of others

people even do not hesitate to share

What do you learn in Library School? The MLIS Explained! - Duration: 7:56.

It all starts at the question, what do you even learn in library school? My name is Peter and this is stacks and facts.

[intro music]

So I figured it was about time I made this video because y'all keep asking for it,

But the short answer is that no two MLIS degrees

look the same! And the reason for that is that, in the United States and Canada most places that hire librarians require that

you are a graduate of a program that has been accredited by the American Library Association, or the ALA, and

the accreditation process that the ALA provides to make sure that all MLIS programs are fairly consistent

provides a lot of flexibility, but it's also quite rigorous.

So I'm not gonna read through the entire accreditation process, but I will read six... that's four. Six...

(We're gonna pretend I have six fingers) requirements that they list specifically for coursework. Okay?

Okay.

But aside from that, go wild.

The way that most schools handle these requirements is that they will, basically,

have a core set of courses that address

these requirements in them and you will usually do those in the first term of your studies, and then they will sprinkle

-- that is to say, the schools -- will sprinkle things that match these requirements throughout other courses that the program offers that you will take later on.

But really outside of that core set of courses, It's up to you what your program looks like.

Which I think is pretty rad because no two librarians are going to have the same requirements,

necessarily. But if you want to know what an MLIS *can* look like, here's every class that I took, and a take-away from each, in

twenty seconds or less.

Not... not all of them. That would be like what?

1.2 seconds per class. That's not gonna... that's not gonna happen. Ok, let's let's just get to it.

It's like they say: "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it double check

What's Your Craft - Craftivist Carrie Reichardt - Duration: 3:30.

Having new ideas is never a problem for me.

My problem is trying to filter out all the ideas I have, and work on one thing.

I actually come from a fine art background, I have a degree in sculpture.

In the late 90s I got involved in doing mosaics.

It was the actual practice of it, it was actually finding myself in a zone which was really good for my mental state

because I had always had a lot of problems.

The thing about craft is that you get lost in the process of it.

As soon as I did it, I realised how much I loved it.

Currently I'm the first ever visual artist for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

I think it's great that they're using visuals arts now to try and

draw people in so I've been working on that for the last year.

I think that craft and art is that enabler, that enables you to start dialogue.

I got involved in the whole death row thing because I picked up a Big Issue

and in the back of it, it had a advert that said:

"Could you befriend someone on death row?"

and I thought, well yeah I could.

So in 2007 I was commissioned to make the Tikki Love Truck

and at the same time that I got the commission I found a pen pal

that I was writing to, John Joe Amador, was going to be executed.

I just couldn't disconnect the two things

so I decided that I would make this truck for him, in memory of him.

As soon as the execution had taken place

we made a death mask of his face.

Eight days later this death mask had been placed on the top of the Tikki Love Truck

and we went through the streets of Manchester with 45 thousand people cheering.

With craftivism, if I was to stand with a table and my leaflets

and try and engage people about death row

you don't really change people's minds.

But when people come up to my truck, the first thing they say is:

"How much does it weigh?"

and then they'll say: "What's that face?" and I'll be able to tell that story.

Most of my work is focused on history from below

it's the peoples history, I'm trying to dig out stories, and I'm trying to convey them

because I'm a big believer in if we can listen to each others stories and we remember how we got our rights

I think that it'll be a much healthier society.

If I'm honest I'm really, really lucky.

That's why I work within a collective.

They helped me mosaic the house, I didn't mosaic that truck alone.

That was a team of people who came to help me

and I think that's what happens when you become an activist.

It means lots of other people can come and help, and there's an energy that's created that's wonderful.

Everything is about action, and especially on the street.

Find your creative voice and use it.

As soon as you do, you'll feel so much better in so many other ways.

What is the MRSD Program at CMU? (MS in Robotic Systems Development ) - Duration: 3:16.

My name is John Dolan and I'm a faculty member in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University

What is the MRSD program? It is an opportunity for students to be prepared to enter

robotics companies and to excel there.

Particularly by giving them an opportunity to learn about both the systems engineering and the business

aspects of robotics and then also to do a very substantial two semester project which

requires them to build a robotic system. Our project was an autonomous driving

navigation robot for blind people. So it pretty much looks like a suitcase and our ideal test environment was an airport.

My final project was an autonomous platform for detecting and classifying buried potential threats or landmines.

There's a big focus on

the marriage of

New research and cutting edge ideas and robotics and the actual implementation of them.

We deploy an infrastructure on kitty corners of the intersection

So two of the four corners, and we're able to detect every pedestrian and moving object in the area

And so no matter how good your sensors are, when you can't see it, our sensors can. So as you approach the intersection

Our infrastructure can alert the car to stop and you can stop short preventing a fatal collision.

GroundsBot was a robotic mowing system.

When we came together at the start of the semester, at the start fall last year, we really wanted to

Build something from the ground up just like if we were a startup company. ...Really good software experience electrical design experience mechanical

experience... we wanted to bring all that together and just build this awesome product. The emphasis on

Developing robots and developing this fusion of mechanical and electrical systems and programming them to be autonomous

That was just really a huge standout to me

My capstone project was about building an assistive robot to help

patients who have upper-body dysfunctions.

Multimodal emotion recognition. The crux of this project involved developing at a high level

emotional intelligence for a computer or robot.

We are looking into this project

it really sounded interesting because it involves a lot of vehicles. We were thinking about

How it can be applied for betterment. Because if you are learning a technology

It's my belief that it should be doing something good.

MRSD is a very unique program.

We have students and faculty and staff from all over the world, all different backgrounds.

it makes for a really fun environment a very enriching experience and usually our

classes of students end up getting really close because they have all of their core courses together and then they work in team projects and

They're all in the same lab working diligently so they become really close friends and it's really special to watch that.

being everyone looks like the dogs are out to play today we came home last

night after Jason opened up his gift and fell right to sleep we were exhausted so

today we're gonna wake up and hang out look at all the seaweed that actually

came ashore last night that's kind of crazy

telling you this storm just because it went to North Carolina doesn't mean it

affects anybody else because it does I mean look at this the waves are still

really crashing and crazy and I told Sophia there was no seaweed it was wrong

I mean there's seaweed I never said there was no seaweed there's just not as

much as over on the west coast but I guess there is kind of crazy but anyways

good morning guys come spend the day with us

okay guys just to get an idea of where we're standing we're right here on shore

if you look all the way way down there that's where the waves actually start

the waves usually don't start until like way up here so definitely some big waves

today so we're not gonna be getting in here okay so he is having fun playing in

there's nothing in it that's pretty so seasons treasure-hunting over here

digging for gold right and you want to dig yeah okay but it's gone now Oh nope

shells and walk down the beach Sofia you're never gonna find it baby let's

just find a different one okay you did cool all right let's keep walking

daddy's way down here by the dogs

we just got back full of energy the beach

decided to come swim for a few minutes cause it's getting really hot down there

good job the code that'll break a fever real quick Walnut I'm not doing anything

so as soon as it's done it was a mess so hopefully it's cleaned what are you

good last night I think he was running like a huge fever we didn't have a

thermometer to check you but he was very very warm but he went to sleep I felt

better right good just getting done with our showers as you can tell my hair is

not done yet and we are going to go to a restaurant

it called the river I think it's on the river or something so that's what we're

gonna do tonight and then I think we're gonna come back and relax hopefully and

that's pretty much it I think right and then tomorrow we go home

having a good time and you don't want to go home that's how I feel all the time

right talking to me yes yes who else would I be talking to there's nobody

else in this room Jason's always like when I have the phone on or the camera

all right usually YouTube and scared Sofia would have rat but anyways guys

I'm going to tell you this morning there was a little black lab I think he's

right there I don't know but anyways I used to have a black lab growing up I

owned him oh there he is down there I owned him for her for 14 years her

name is shadow and just seeing that dog really made me miss my dog I don't want

animals any more animals right now because we have three cats as it is and

they're a pain in the butt not really a pain in the butt but as far as

maintaining the fleas and the you know cat litter and all of that stuff but my

mom was telling me that her cats hair yeah but my mom was telling me that her

cats are actually potty-trained yes the cat the capture on the toilet they don't

even use cat litter anymore she got this system

where you take and put it on the top with a bowl of the cat butter I'm sorry

on the toilet and then you put cat litter in there and then it has like

three or four different rings and then you divide the rings each time you want

to train them differently and then they end up using the toilet that's it I want

to do that for our cats because I'm tired of paying $60 a month for litter

Disney Springs Hotel this one was from Legoland the next one is from Disney

Resort and the last two are from a Disney Resort as well I hope you guys

What Bounce is Right for Your Golf Wedges? - Duration: 5:54.

so does bounce matter well we're gonna find out if it does right now let's go

okay if you're new to the channel I do a lot of golf tips and drills and product

reviews so hit the subscribe button and the bell notification so you don't miss

anything today I'm at precision golf centers my

man Craig over here is setting up the the system what we're gonna do is I'm

gonna hit a sixty degree wedge I have five different 60-degree wedges all with

different bounces everything's the same except the bounce and so we're gonna I'm

gonna show you what happens when you just change the bounce just the bounce

angle on the club and we've got everything gonna be a different color

when we give you the data so we're gonna start with very little bounce for four

degrees for 8 10 12 and 14 degrees of Bounce and I'm gonna show you what it

does let's do it

so we'll start off with 60-degree wedge four degrees of Bounce so very little

bounce right so we'll change clubs to the eighth degree bounce plan will

change color I'm already seeing like more spin already with this club than

the previous Club try it a little lower ball flight will move on 10 degrees now

you'll also find you'll be a lot more consistent with one of the bounces

because it just matches your style your swing style better like whether you have

a steep or more shallow swing so so far the 10 degree

they're all right looking good let's go to swap

last one 14 degrees bounce then we'll look at the numbers

all right let's check out the numbers okay there's the red is the lowest

degree bounce the four so it definitely went the highest and then our highest

bounce is the is the purple sixty 14 and if you look here the purple is averaging

as the lowest as a lowest wedge and our distribution pattern is I mean it's

fairly consistent they all are the same shape but the purple is the closest the

purple is a tie so for me yeah but the purple is by far the tightest

and then you go up to the eight and then the four they'll the eighth by far the

largest it almost seems like as the bounce gets a little higher your

dispersion kind of gets a little tighter mm-hmm okay so the difference between

the four degree and the eight degree is is minimal its small but the difference

between a four degree and a 14 degree it's pretty big so you can definitely

see the last bounce and you can see it on every different Club it would

slightly go lower and lower and lower the ball height so and the distances

would be slightly different just a little bit but it can make a big

difference you know in your scoring clubs it's the difference between a

three foot putt or six foot putt or a six foot in a 10 foot pot just that

little bit and it's a difference in height to are you playing a place do you

need more height are you a low ball hitter do you want to hit it higher so

balance would be a huge factor for you in determining what club is gonna be

best for your game but you need to get that kind of stuff looked at and figured

out so you know what your club is what your gapping Tzar what your tendencies

are where you miss you need all that kind of data so that you can make the

best decision actually improve especially in your scoring zone you're

scoring clubs so a place like this precision golf centers you'll be able to

should answer it right now so there's this question I'm not gonna read it

lady basically feels like she answers all the questions in the group and

everything all the time and all the time she answered all the question when

people have questions and she answered all the question and she like she feels

like most people would think that she's killing it in the game you know I'm

still Holly and Long Island on the project right so she feel like most

people think that she's killing it in the game but she's feeling quite

discouraged right now at this point in time then he gets on water in the hotel

room she's feeling quite discouraged and she feels like you know she may be

throwing in the towel a lot of people feel that way and and I

have encountered a lot of people like that pushed a lot of people like that

too they know everything they know the theory they know what it takes to close

the deal but they've never really closed a deal before and she asked really one

question she said what is she doing wrong and I felt like I should share

that video with you right now you know oh my god yeah I was a practice thing so

what is she doing wrong what is she what do you think she's doing wrong okay so

again she knows everything there is to know about this business of real estate

wholesaling even real estate in general altogether she knows everything there is

to know but she feels as though she hasn't

closed any deal which is the bottom line right at the end of the day as

entrepreneurs what we're trying to do is we're trying to get results right and if

you're not getting resulting you're not getting resolved then it's time for you

to check yourself beside truth is that most people don't even ask they never

really ask they enjoy the company of others dreaming hoping that one day to

happen you know there's a lot of people like that in any group in any type of

industry especially make money from home type of deals

especially real estate hotel and make money with real estate no money down

it's just very easy to get lost in the middle of the shuffle right and and hope

that one day you know things we just change or you will catch an off spirit

and start doing the right thing right so she's asking this question and I have a

feeling she has the answers already but I want to do it justice and I think I

should just go ahead and tell her what she's doing wrong there's only one thing

she's doing wrong there's really only one thing I can

think that she's doing wrong that she's not doing it's consistency okay now

there could be one other thing that she's doing that she's not doing right

there could be one other thing just one more this other thing that she could be

doing wrong maybe she's not marketing at all okay so that makes it two things she

could be do two things wrong okay the first thing she could be doing wrong is

that she's not marketing at all okay excuse me for moving the camera around

so much okay she's not marketing at all so let's say she's marketing let's say

she spent some money maybe she some money she hasn't gotten in the

resort then the second thing she's doing wrong is she's not consistent but what

if she says I'm consistent but I run out of resources what else could she be

doing wrong the other thing she could be doing wrong

is resource management okay resource management she's now

resourceful and she's not managing our resources properly okay because part of

being resourceful is managing your resources okay how can you make one

dollar go far how can you make two dollars go far how came you I think

that's a better light right here how can you make every ounce every second that

you have how can you make you go far right and that's a big deal for a lot of

people a lot of people spend all their resources and they didn't run out of the

resources right and then they're like okay it doesn't work or they're like I'm

not getting results right but at the end of the day there's really one key thing

that create results in this game and honestly frankly in any type of business

it's called marketing it's called reaching out it's called

create an exposure it's called you gotta be a hustler when it comes to create and

exposure and a lot of times you will need more than more than six okay some

people say more than six but it's really seven exposures on an average to get the

kind of result that you're looking to get does that make sense

you will need seven or more exposures so if you don't postcards you're doing

driving for dollars if you're doing letters whatever you're doing you got to

do that for one individual galaxies or these seven times on average before they

say wait I think this person can help me okay now that's one person okay so but

also a very good chance that that one person is not gonna want to do business

with you that's before you get their attention right so what if that person

you don't get that person attention let's say you have twenty letters and

you mail their main and no response what is wrong at that point in time that's

the problem now is that your business are stopped okay you've stopped that

business right in his gut and it's not moving forward there's no more exposure

so of course there's no going to any type of business so the third thing

you could be doing wrong is you're not positioned for consistency so you

already know that you need to market you already know that you gotta be

consistent the third thing you could be doing wrong is you're not positioned for

consistency okay position for consistency is the same thing as

managing your resources okay you have to set up your resources to be used in a

way that it can be sustainable you have to be able to show up every day because

and being able to show up every day means you be in the game and you

continue to be in the game on - you hit your first deal because if you hit your

first deal and you make $10,000 which was the amount of my first deal which is

the amount that multiple targets right then it changes your life right because

you're only one deal away from your life changing right it changes everything for

you it changes it changes your tribe you strike that you all together right and

really what the ultimatum is causing that one deal so you want to make sure

that let's say you have $10,000 marketing budget today right you can

spend all of it today if you want but if you don't make money then the business

is doomed right but that's not what you're looking for you're looking for a

way to spread that money along so that you can still be in the game by the time

you hit your first deal I can't tell you how many examples of people I know that

I've spent their time their money there are other resources and they've done

that and they they haven't gotten any results and now they're crying and they

say I wish that money I spent this much money and I don't have any results to

show for it because they are not positioned they haven't positioned

themselves for consistency because the to of the game is that your first deal

can come like that after your first marketing it may not come for the next

100 pieces of of advertising right you just never know when that's gonna happen

so you want to make sure you position yourself to stay in the game

indefinitely to be consistent position yourself for indefinitely marketing okay

one for yourself today you can keep marketing how do you do that how if you

offer all you got if what you can afford is $20 for their marketing you need to

position yourself so you can spend $20 and marketing every day and make sure

that $20 keep coming in from another source so you can stay in the game long

enough until you hit your first deal and your first deal is supposed to finance

the next one year of marketing okay and part of your job as an entrepreneur is

to manage your resources okay so what is she doing wrong again she's not

marketing okay let's say she says she's marketing second thing she's doing wrong

I'm troubleshooting right now is that she's not consistent let's say she's

consistent but she's run out of resources by now bottom line is that she

was not positioned for consistency she did not manage our resources properly

right so sometimes you got to get back to a day job you gotta go to day job you

gotta go to a day job so you can fund your dreams all right take that from me

because I made a big mistake when it comes to that I'm gonna tell you that

story someday right I'm gonna tell you a big story when it comes to that someday

I made a big mistake of being too reliant on you know on a facade you know

what I'm saying but bottom line is that in any game manages the resource

management is part of your choices that you have to make and sometimes you have

to do things that you don't want to do in order to step into the zone that

you're trying to get into sometimes you gotta use things that you don't really

like as a stepping stone to get to where you're trying to get to right

so that's very very important for you so if you ask me what is she not doing it

bottom line is marketing is consistent indefinite perpetual marketing that's

the one single thing that she's lacking if that's not it

then it comes down to patience patience you just got to stay in there and you

gotta be stubborn about it right now if you're spending if you follow my lead

and you spend ten dollars per day on marketing online you will see action you

will see people clicking you will see your ads showing and that's results

right then all you got to do at that point is weight onto the right people

right become a lead and that lead and you turn

that lead into deals all right so that's what I have for you on this particular

Well, first of all, I pray everyday, multiple times a day– and not just in a religious way

but I ask God for help. I thank Him for the blessings of life itself.

I ask for direction and wisdom with the decisions I have to make

and also be aware of the unexpected curveballs that come in my way

that may be good and may be bad, knowing that I need him every day.

Apart from that, I'm really blessed to say that in the calling that I've been given to go and speak around the world,

what's really cool and fascinating, and encouraging,

is seeing the people after the speaking engagement,

hey guys David Andersen here and we're at Nick's desk checking out some of the

cool new customs we've got in stock there's always some great new stuff

coming in so let's check out what we've got today got some awesome new stuff

from Andre de villiers today ADV tactical first up we've got a series of

his TAC butchers in s35vn steel you got a model here with some gold anodized

edges very cool and of course that unmistakable ADV blade shape I think

this one's really cool you got some really nice contrast between the gold

and the Aqua anodization really classy really cool look this one doesn't have

laminated blade steel despite the look it's got a bead blasted section here

that kind of mimics that look we've also got a couple of his mini cleavers also

in s35vn this one also features that bead blast to tone pattern kind of a

distressed finish on this frame titanium frame of course as are all of these

knives and then this has been a real popular color lately it's kind of a

copper flat dark earth type of color a little bit more subdued but still a

really cool look it's a nice accenting black Hardware on that one and in

addition to those we've also got one of his double flippers this one comes in

n690 steel with a clip point all blacked out with a mini frag pattern and last up

we've got some of his Spartan muck or Spartan knucks I should say three

finishes we've distressed brass distressed copper and g10 it's the first

time we've seen them in the g10 and that are very cool it's less obnoxious than

your standard knuckles it's a little less a little less threatening a little

more incognito so that's our new stuff for today keep checking back we'll bring

What's Next? Channel Update (October 2018) - Duration: 6:52.

October already well I am a little early however it is time for a channel update

Nick speaking and welcome to this video right time for a channel update for

October yes I am a few days early however I've got a reason for that and

I'll talk about that in a minute before that though if you would like to keep up

to date with the wonders of Warhammer 40k then please subscribe and hit the

couple of things that Necron Girl has done for me the first one is this

youtube of white play button I'm not sure what it represents in terms of

milestones on the channel however isn't that awesome I absolutely love that not

only that but she's been building me some Necron terrain check out that a

Necron tower in my necron colours looks pretty cool doesn't it

so yeah necron girl has been enjoying the Hobby

it seems so let's start right there with a hobby update ok so you saw my Noise

Marines a few weeks ago I worked very hard to get them to that level I have to

be honest I've done no more work on them since that update I've been quite busy

doing other stuff what I have been doing is I've been painting my death guard a

long with necron girl of course is painting her Primaris Space Marines

that's been my main hobby focus along with those dark ops pieces of

terrain I've been doing the chat and paint videos regarding those dark ops

pieces of terrain that's been enjoyable it's given me an extra video to upload

and it's given me motivation to get those pieces of terrain painted now

I will be getting back to the Noise Marines as soon as possible I just have

a lot of stuff on the table at the moment including a couple of review

videos that I need to make and a new project here this is a Space Marine

librarian which I'm going to be painting up for a special project which of course

I will be making videos about in the future so I've got a lot of work on the table I

will be getting back to the Noise Marines as soon as possible I really

want to start laying down the pink on the armor now before we talk about the

channel update I want to do a shout out this is a massive shout out to one

particular person but also to a massive group of people so the one person is

6 + Stevo who went behind my back like the cheeky ork git he is and

organised an amazing video by a good amount of people from the wargamers

from the wargamers unification group they made an IDICBeer

thanks/celebration video it was

absolutely awesome and massive thank you to everyone involved and for six +

Stevo for organising the video now of course there's a lot more members in the

unification but the guys that make the video but of course it would have been

impossible to organise everyone to make a video clip for that video so a massive

thank you to not only the people involved in the video but everyone in

the wargamers unification group if you haven't heard of the group yet we are

based on Facebook just search it be a 40k wargamers unification group on

Facebook asked to be a member and we will accept you it's a fantastic place

to be not only as a YouTube creator but also as a hobbyist so come and join us

now don't forget to check out the video that the guys made for me it's on 6 +

Sevos channel I'll link up to the video there it's an awesome video some fantastic

comments and it's very funny especially towards the end of the video so check it

out ok so the channel update and the reason why this video has gone up a few

days earlier than normal is because I'm working very hard on a new series of

videos coming to the channel soon it's a necron

based series and I think you're going to like it I'm certainly very excited about

making the series so keep your eyes open for that now of course I've got my

confrontation 3 tournament coming up very shortly I think I've got my list

locked down now I'm going to go with this storm necron

list that's the one I posted about in the tomb blades trouble video I am going

to change it slightly I think I'm going to try and put in a cryptek if I drop one

Wraith and one wraith in my list had a whip coil and then I dropped one or two

scarab swarms I think I can fit in a cryptek now I'm not sure whether to go

for a standard one or one with a cloak the one with the cloak would have the

benefit having the fly special rule it can move quite far and it can help

regenerate my doomsday arks it will give me the 4+ RP on the Destroyers if I

go for the normal cryptek though it will give me the 5+invulnerable save on

the Destroyers now at the event I may not have that much terrain to embed

myself in with the destroyers so I'm arming an urming which cryptek to go

for if you've got any suggestions let me know in the comments box below as always

I'm always open to hearing your suggestions now once I've got my final

list locked and loaded I will have two games with that list

before the event I've got one more game planned with Richard and then I've got a

game planed with aceface which will be the day before the actual event so

literally a last minute practice game I will be making battle reports of both of

those games and I will be doing as much coverage as I can of the confrontation 3

tournament itself I'm not sure if I'll be recording much there however I will

be doing an overview or an after video as well as maybe some video clips or
