Celebs Go Dating: Charlotte Dawson admits passing out after downing booze on hit show
BOOZY: Charlotte Dawson passed out after dowing Prosecco and shots and Celebs Go Dating.
And Charlotte Dawson admits she got so drunk, she passed out after downing Prosecco and shots. The hit E4 show - which follows a group of famous faces as they attempt to romance civilian partners - is back next week.
And the celebs didnt hold back when it came to alcohol as they got to know one another at mixer parties for strangers.
Charlotte, daughter of comedy legend Les, says: We got so drunk at the mixers. On my first one I got so drunk I blacked out and had to be put in a taxi.
I walked in with a bottle of Prosecco and cant remember anything after that. I had a full-blown two-day hangover afterwards.
And my dates were mainly drunk and disorderly. Theres a lot of nip slips, boys with their bums out and flesh on display. Im nervous about the show because I cant remember half of what Ive done..

Meanwhile, former X Factor singer Frankie Cocozza adds: I got slaughtered. For the first mixer I was absolutely battered. I started at 2pm with two beers at the hotel then by 6pm I was hammered.
It was messy. Joining Charlotte and Frankie are hunky reality star Calum Best, TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford, Towie stars James Arg Argent and Bobby Norris and Made In Chelsea babe Georgia Toff Toffolo.
They are joined by dating agency bosses Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman, plus receptionist Tom Read-Wilson.
And its Nadia and Eden who are left to pick up the pieces from the drunken carnage of the mixer. Eden says: The next day, we get all the celebrities in.
Did you ask someone out? Yeah. Whats her name? Dont remember. What does she look like? Dont remember.
What colour is her hair? Dont remember. Frankie was wary about doing the show after spells on X Factor - where he was booted off for bragging about taking cocaine -show - and Celebrity Big Brother.
He says: I havent done any shows that arent f***ing intense. This is a bit of fun.
At first I was sh***ing myself, I was on the train on the way up and I thought: Im getting off, f*** the money. But I really started to enjoy it.
SURPRISE: Charlotte was so drunk she can barely remember half of the show.
The best part was I learned no-one cares about me being the X Factor bad boy. Sarah-Jane has been single since coming out of a five-year relationship last year. She says: I wanted to see what was out there.
I was scared because my careerin broadcasting has been trying to find out about other peoples personallives rather than me putting it out.
This I realised I put up a lot of defences, I ask a lot of questions because Im trying to protect myself. And Toff says that she wanted the chance to meet lads outside of SW3 She says: I basicallyleft school, moved up to London and joined Made In Chelsea so Ive only ever reallydated guys who live in south-west London, which is ridiculous.I was dating men who were clones of each other.
I was going crazy..
Meanwhile, Calum had to deawith his reputation as a ladies man after beddinga string of female hotties over the years. He explains: No matter what I do, thats how Im always seen.
But I dont have a problem with that as long as its said in a nice way. Im 36, I dont want to settle unless I feel this person is potentially my future partner.
At the same time, you think: this is television, is it really going to happen? But take the risk and see if it can. The celebs also felt the show acted like a therapy session, and ended up spilling all their fears and issues to Nadia and Eden.
HUNK: Reality star Calum Best also joins the cast. Bobby - the first gay star on the show - explains: When it comes to work and my career, Im the most confident I can be. But Ive always struggled with dating.
Things happen, people arent faithful and it can knock your confidence. I carried insecurities from previous relationships and the fear of rejection became like a phobia.
This show was massively like therapy. The stars also had to work out which of the non-celebs were there for love - and who just wanted to get on telly.
Boss Eden explains: Our celebrities are smart and have been doing this a while, so they can all work it out. If someone is there trying to get their five minutes, it probably wont make the cut anyway.
We have vetted all the clients. We have to make sure the celebs and noncelebs are good. The stars also set up a WhatsApp group so they could share tales of the crazy things that happened on their dates.
We send pictures of different things that have gone on and memes linked to the dates weve been on, reveals Sarah-Jane. Theres some funny images that have popped up.
From the shenanigans Ive seen on the WhatsApp group I cant wait to see what everyone gets up to. Celebs Go Dating will be returning to our screens on E4 from September 4.
