This looks like its good for 2 people or just me.

I can drink it all myself.

Eat this LIKE Goku.

Top 23 Most Expensive Restaurants In The World - Duration: 10:11.

Eating out is always a great experience.

There is something special about sitting at a restaurant

and being served some good food in a great ambience,

even though it tends to lighten our pockets a little bit.

And sometimes, more than just a little bit!

Here's a look at some of the most expensive restaurants in the world.

23.

Joel Robuchon.

When the chef of a restaurant is given the title of Chef of the Century by a reputable food guide,

there has to be something special right?

And great food is exactly what is on offer at the Joel Robuchon

which is located in Las Vegas.

The cost for dining here comes to about $230 per person

but considering that its from the chef of the century,

it is not really that big a deal is it?

22.

Beige.

When a much celebrated chef and a huge fashion brand come together, it has to be for something

really special right?

Located in Tokyo, Beige is a very special restaurant

which serves French cuisine made with Japanese ingredients.

The taste is apparently pretty interesting and exciting,

as it should be because it costs around $259 per person.

21.

Misoguigawa.

Well this is actually a chain of 3 restaurants

which are found in the Japanese cities of Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto.

The restaurants are really fancy and they have a specialty dish,

which is actually a multi course meal.

And its not just the price of $270 per person which makes the restaurant special.

If you want their specialty dish, you will have to order at least 5 days in advance!

Kind of makes the food sound good even before eating doesn't it?

20.

Varvary.

Considering that the chef behind the conception of Varvary

was an established geophysicist before turning to the kitchen at 40,

you would think that it would be a pretty special place.

Located in Moscow, the Varvary is that and more.

In fact, so good is the Varvary

that it is often considered to the place to get the best food in Moscow.

Not bad, but then it does come with a heavy price tag of $270!

19.

Hertog Jan.

When it comes to food, the ingredients make a lot of difference.

Which is what makes the Hertog Jan special.

Located in Bruges, Belgium,

they are known for using ingredients grown in their own farm to make their meals.

And well, they also do charge a lot for their services as a meal here would cost around $275!

18.

De Librije.

When it comes to food, taste precedes everything.

And since it is a known fact

that out of season veggies never taste as good as the ones grown in a proper environment,

De Librije uses only regional and seasonal ingredients for their food.

Located in Zwolle, Netherlands, De Librije is a pretty fancy place and one can expect

to shell out around $290 for a meal.

17.

French laundry.

Now this is as misleading a name as any.

There is nothing to do with laundry here except for maybe the pristine uniforms of the staff

and even the food served here is not French but American cuisine!

The French Laundry is located in Yountville, USA and even though its name may be misleading,

the food is actually very good and they make the use of the finest of ingredients.

A meal here would generally cost about $297 per person.

16.

The Fat Duck.

Cooking is an experience and the more you do it, the better you get.

No one would probably no that more than the chef of the Fat Duck who is pretty much self taught

and as a result most of the dishes served here are unique.

The fat duck is the highest rated restaurant in Britain

and as such, its price of $300 matches that fame!

15.

Chef's table.

Located in Brooklyn fare in New York,

it is the only 3 michelin star rated restaurant in Brooklyn.

And considering that Michelin stars are just about the highest ratings for a restaurant,

it is a pretty big deal.

The Chef's table is extremely exclusive, and has a seating capacity of just 18.

But the food is exceptional and they serve mostly Japanese and French cuisine.

There is a 15 course tasting menu on available here and comes with a hefty price tag of $306!

14.

Schloss Schauenstein.

Dining takes on a different hue altogether when it is combines with a great ambience.

And considering that castles are pretty much famous for their lavish feasts,

the Schloss Schauenstein scores pretty big by being located in a castle in Furstenau, Switzerland.

The décor of the restaurant is medieval and the food is exceptional.

Perhaps that is why there is a price tag of $355 per person here!

13.

Gordon Ramsay.

When one of TV's most respected chefs opens his own restaurant, it has to be fancy right?

After all, it is pretty much like you are part of the limelight!

And it costs pretty much like that only with the dining cost per person coming to $355.

But to its credit, the Gordon Ramsay restaurant was awarded 3 michelin stars in 2001 and it

has held on to that since!

12.

Aragawa.

Located in Tokyo Japan,

this restaurant was once rated as the most expensive restaurant in the world by Forbes!

The Aragawa is a pretty exclusive place with seating only for 22 people.

That obviously means that people generally have to wait to get in, sometimes for months!

And considering that the cost for a meal here is about $370,

it might just give you enough time to save up for it!

But one thing that makes Aragawa so sought after among foodies is the Wagyu beef,

which comes from just a single local farm!

11.

Restaurant Crissier.

Switzerland is probably one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

And any restaurant there is bound to be located amidst amazing scenic beauty.

But what sets the Crissier apart from the rest is that it has extremely wonderful staff

who make you feel special.

Combine that with a wide variety of delectable dishes,

it surely makes for one hell of an experience.

Of course, the price tag of $375 is also pretty special!

10.

LÁrpege.

This one earned its 3 michelin stars way back in 1996,

and in the years since, hasn't lost its touch bit!

The Larpege is located in Paris and considering that the city is known for its glamour quotient,

there is just no doubt that the restaurant adds to it.

The most legendary dish here is hot-cold eggs,

and you can pretty much gauge how expensive the places

as it charges $400 for that dish!

9.

Michel Bras Toya.

When a great view is on offer, the food becomes that much better!

And that is what makes Michel Bras Toya so special.

Located in Toya, Japan, the restaurant has a fabulous view of the volcanic lake Toya.

The cuisine served here is mostly French, but with a Japanese twist to it.

Eating here is not something everyone can afford though, as the cost per person here

would come to about $410!

8.

Ultraviolet.

Located in Shanghai, China, Ultraviolet offers a great dining experience with a light show,

course themed music and even the table is projected with the diner's name.

And not just the ambience, Ultraviolet also has very good food

and a meal here would set you back by about $450!

7.

Urasawa.

If you want to impress someone by taking them to a fancy place but cant really afford it,

try getting a booking in Urasawa.

Located in Beverly Hills, the restaurant has a very limited seating of just 10,

and you might not get a booking!

But then it does offer a 30 course meal, so if you can afford it,

it should be a really good experience!

It would cost about $488 to dine here!

6.

Ithaa Undersea Restaurant.

When you have a restaurant where you not only get amazing food,

but an out of the world experience,

it is definitely something everyone must experience.

The Ithaa restaurant is located in Maldives, or to be precise under Maldives.

The restaurant is 5 metres below the Indian Ocean and has a view to die for.

That of course comes with a price which might actually kill you with a meal costing about

$500 per person.

But considering that it was called the most beautiful restaurant by the New York daily news,

it might just be worth the experience!

5.

Restaurant Guy Savoy De Paris.

Considering that the restaurant is run by 3 michelin star chef Guy Savoy,

who is known for training the masterchef Gordon Ramsay himself,

the restaurant is pretty much special.

It is located in Paris and a meal here would cost around $525 per person.

4.

Plaza Athenee.

The restaurant belongs to the celebrated chef Alain Ducasse and is located in Paris.

Considering that combination, it is easy to assume that it would be pretty pricey

but it kind of does justice to the price tag of $550

by using some very rare ingredients in the food.

And the ambience will definitely make you feel spoilt.

The seating at the restaurant is below chandeliers made of 10,000 glittering crystals!

3.

Kitcho.

In Japan there is a tradition called the kaiseki.

It is basically a ceremonial multi course meal that originated with Japanese tea ceremonies.

And Kitcho is a restaurant that is considered the high temple of kaiseki.

So obviously, it would be a really special deal dining at Kitcho.

And considering that it costs about $600 to dine here, it does feel special as you will

definitely feel lighter with an emptier pocket!

2.

Masa.

Located in New York, Masa is the most expensive restaurant in the US according to many estimates.

And since it only has seating capacity for 26, it is often booked weeks in advance.

The special thing about Masa is that the chef actually prepares the menu himself!

And not just that, it also gets its ingredients fresh fish and Kobe beef

flown straight from Japan.

Considering that much effort, it really is not surprising that the price for a meal here,

without the beverages, is around $809!

1.

Sublimotion.

Now here is a dining experience that is truly unique.

Sublimotion is a restaurant in Ibiza Spain

and it is currently the most expensive restaurant in the world.

The reason?

Dining is lifted from just food here to an art form where you are accompanied with a

full on show and the whole experience lasts about 3 hours.

And the food is special in itself, being a 15-20 course meal.

Of course, all that does end up costing a bomb

with a dinner here coming to around $1850 per person.

Interviewing the owner of Maya Restaurant - Duration: 14:30.

Hi everyone, today we here to interview the owner of Maya Restaurant and he also ABAC student

Maya Restaurant is located at Viewpoint Dormitory and it's beside Seven-Eleven.

Maya Restaurant is not far from ABAC University.

Right now, I think you may want to know who is the owner of this restaurant.

Let's go to interview him. He's waiting us inside. Let's go.

Hello, today we will interview with the owner of Maya Kitchen

Before starting the interview, could you please introduce yourself?

Sure, my name is Sujan. I'm from Nepal. I graduated from ABAC also.

Recently, you guys are students and right now I'm working around here and I also have other business.

How long have you been in Thailand?

This is my 5 years ago.

OK, let's start for the first question

How long has Maya restaurant been opened?

We are running into 7 months.

For the second question is why did you decide to open Maya restaurant?

How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Well, actually, while opening, I was still studying and I was a student of ABAC

And then by the time, I was seeking something like what to work after graduated.

So I need to open anyhow right.

So at the right time I found my partners

and then they also interested to open

and we went around in ABAC to see the location.

And then we found this is quite good place and also this restaurant was like empty that time.

So we just decided to open this restaurant.

What type of cuisine and service does your restaurant provide?

You mean type of business that we provide right?

Ok, it's mainly the first one that we focus is like our own food like Muslim food and Indian food

Because it's quite popular here, in Bangkok

. And also like my Most of the friends here they're from our parts of the world

like from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal

So that's why we started with this one.

And now, we also come up with the ideas for others in the continues good food.

What type of business?

Sole proprietorship or partnership business?

Oh it's like partnership

What experiences do you have in the restaurant field?

Before starting this restaurant. I don't have any experiences,I was a freshmen

because my partner, they had experiences before.

But for me, business is new for me.

But since then after opening,

so I had a lot of experience like dealing with the problem and coming up with the new idea

so after I opened and I got many experiences

What made you choose this type of business?

Actually, the first thing is I come to my partners

because of them, they ever opened this restaurant

and before that I never thought that I would be opening with my friends.

So this is happened by the time.

And the main thing is just like

because I was always concerned what am I going to do after graduated

so that make me kind of like interested in this business

So, I'm going to ask my questions.

What was your mission at the outset, beginning?

The mission was like to open this restaurant.

It was like what we started from here, from this location, Bangna.

And then our business was even expanded more in the other places

like since we want to have one of the international plan here

That was like our main goal, our main target and mission

and then we want to expand in other places like I told you in Bangkok and other provinces.

When did you charter your business?

This is like 7 months ago, last year.

What made you choose your current location?

This location is I feel like the main thing is like this looks international

This place is like quite good and we are looking for something like this place

It is clean and this is like a lot of apartments around

and also we have a lot of other international restaurants as you can see.

So yeah, that's is the main reason.

How do you make Maya Restaurant stand out from others?

This is the food that we serve is really outstanding

because we serve different types of food than other competitors here

so that would be the main and also we believe in quality and cleanliness.

How do you advertise your business?

So far, we do have Facebook and by Line

and mainly word of mouth

like people come, they like it and they go tell their friends.

Because actually you have many friends as well?

yeah, I have a lot of friends.

And it's kind of good for word of mouth and also Line group.

What are your normal business hours?

Are you open seven days a week?

Yeah, we open seven days a week

and we start from 11:30 A.M. until 10 P.M.

Alright.

So Sujan, how many employees do you have in your restaurant?

so far we have two

but one has went back home

so let's say we have three.

Is it easier to work with three people in this restaurant?

Yeah, I think it's comfortable

because we have to deal with three people and also we work by ourselves

We have three partners so we also give our time

so mostly we will have around five people to work.

Ok

so as an employer what kind of business do you look for

what kind of employees do you look for in your new hire's?

You mean from my employee?

So the first thing would be the communication and the experience

I mean I would love to have a person who can speak English and Thai at the same time

Because I have Thai customers and also international customers

so I prefer them and also with experience

Do you mostly have the people from Nepal or you have Thai people as well?

Now I have only from Nepal

before I used to have from Philippines but now they left

So I have only from Nepal.

the training process for the employees

do you have any training process that the new employees have to go through?

No, actually we don't have it now

because it's just small so they just come here and learn by themselves.

Basically they are already skilled?

Yes, they are already skilled

if they are not then we'll just give them advice

and tell them what to do and what not to do.

As a foreigner in Thailand do you have any problem in working in Bangkok

Do you have any problem when communication with Thai people

staffs and customers, do you have any problems?

Yes, we did face a lot of problems in the beginning

from the process like doing the renting, contract sign and everything

because everything was in Thai

And also the communication problems, as you know right?

A lot of problems but communication are the main problem that we faced.

so now you just have all Nepalese staffs right?

Yeah

That means it's easy for you now?

Easy for us to communicate with them and they understand what we tell them

ok, that's great

what are your day-to-day responsibilities as a restaurant owner?

Right now, day to day is like check weather it's good or not

just do the supervising weather the food is well maintained with quality, quantity

and also to look after if it's clean or not. And yeah just like that.

As a job in restaurant is every day the same thing over and over again

so how do you motivate yourself to do the same thing every day?

This is like just because as an owner you already have a feeling that

it is your own right

so when we own something

for example, when we buy your cloth by yourself

you take care more than your friend gave or your parents gave

We have a feeling like that is my own

It's like that so every day is like that.

Well-said Sujan

and that should be noted by all the owners of restaurants out there

Let's move to the next question, what are the main customers?

How do you describe your customers?

The customers are like ABAC Students mainly for started

because and also most of them are my friends also.

What about the working people?

Yeah, we do have the working like lots of families

They come like when they come to drop their kids in the school

and also the Chinese people, the tourists walking around

They come, come in.

What is your secret to keeping customer coming in?

I think it depends like how we treat them

and also the quality so they can come every time and also the environment.

Have you ever turned down a customer when you got a request for something?

Again?

Have you ever refused the customer when you got a request from them?

No we don't

If we can, yeah we just do it

but if we can't, of course yeah we have to describe.

How do you handle with the customers are dissatisfied in your service?

Because like I feel whenever we saw the group

we ask them that is ok or not

and we also take their feedback

so what would you like to have, next time when you come something like that

So this makes them like feel like you know like at least I talk to them

they feel like more happy and they feel like come

So next time when they come, they take something different.

And also they can talk to us before they list order or something

This is kind of try to give good environment also extend environment.

What is the most challenge for you since you have started doing business?

For us, the most challenge was one time with the communication

After that we saw back then when we came up with the employee

because it's really hard to get them for here

because this is in Bangna because it's not in the city right

And yeah that was a reason

That's why I have to start from Nepal

because it is hard to get Thai people here

Even now, I'm liking one staff for my delivery food

and I'm trying to find Thai people but I cannot.

For my question, do you have any plans to expand your business

and can I call any country?

Yes, I do, we do have plan

I mean I think in the future, when we open other branches in the city

expand to other place right?

Yes, first in Thailand and then we might also take in Nepal

but firstly in Bangkok

It's a good start for your business at the foreign country right

and do you have any advice for who want to have their own business?

Actually, like doing business what I think is like

don't think too much just start first and then start taking

because if you think too much, yeah you will have a lot of problems

Before doing, we think a lot.

Actually just do it and then we will learn by the process

For me also like I never had any experience

and I never thought like I will be doing this restaurant

because when I started I learn a lot right

Still like some mistake I make a lot of mistake in the beginning

but now I learn a lot

So I think it's just start and then learn

Learn from mistake?

yeah just start and then learn

Thank you very much for your answering question for all of us

So, this is the Maya kitchen Restaurant from Sujan

the student of ABAC?

Yeah I was, like I graduated recently

Ok and I hope your business will grow in the future

and expand more in the country and others country

Thank you very much

Thank you
