You can do anything!

Be a responsible adult.

Chase your dreams!

Go to school.

Reach for the stars!

Have you bought your house yet?

Don't listen to anyone else!

Are you getting married?

Just do it!

Pay your bills.

Do it!

Do you have a car?

Do it!

Do you own anything?

Do it!

When are you having kids?

Are you a functioning human being?

How can you possibly do what YOU want and still be a functioning, "responsible"

adult?

I have a not-so secret secret to share with you.

{MUSIC}

I don't think there is a single person in my life that hasn't said one of those things

that I was just saying, to me.

But on the flip side.

I'm pretty sure I have said most of those things to someone else as well.

There are just thousands upon thousands of YouTube videos and commercials and poster

and memes and tv shows and movies and advertisements and magazines, etc, etc… and they're all

telling us to go chase our dreams.

They're all super motivational.

Especially for us young folk, us millennials.

I don't know.

We really.

We are millennials . That's not quotations.

Okay.

That's very inspiring.

Like yeah, I can do anything!

Gary Vee often talks about if you're job is making you unhappy, you should just quit.

Like literally walk out right now and go do what you want.

The kid that is sitting right now at a desk and saw this in a feed and you hate your - job.

Stand up.

Get the - out of here and do you.

That's Gary Vee's channels.

Casey Neistat is a huge advocate for not following the rules and also doing what you want.

Just look at what he did with his Nike commercial.

Go check him out.

This video isn't about me telling you they are wrong.

I actually completely 100% agree with them.

Here's the not-so secret secret part.

No matter what you choose to do or no matter path you choose to follow or to create.

No matter how amazing your dream job or dream trip is or will b

There will always something or many things that you don't want to do but you still

have to do it.

This is a lesson my dad taught me many years ago but continues to remind me of it - especially

on the days when I might be complaining just a little too much.

There is simply just so much truth to it.

You can absolutely do what you want but no matter what it is that you want, there is

still going to be things that you have to do and you just need to learn to accept that

now cause otherwise by the time you get there or even on your way there - you're going

to not be enjoying it and you're not going to know why.

Perhaps you are an aspiring YouTuber.

Like me.

And you are envisioning this life filled with crazy adventures and just fun times all the

time.

You are probably picturing your future life as a highlight reel.

But in order to get to that point, in order to really enjoy that point, you need to accept

all the moments that happen between those highlights.

There are lull moments.

There are lonely moments.

There is a lot of tedious tasks that you have to do that you definitely will not want to

do.

Just take a deep breath and do it because you know if you do do it, then you can do

what you want.

Cause it all adds up.

The thing is if you have are truly chasing your dream and doing what you want - you are

probably working harder and longer than the Joe with the 9 to 5.

Not that Joe isn't working hard, but you are just working that much harder.

Now yes, someday you may get to the point where you can sit back and relax.

You have the luxury to slow down.

You will reach that point where you are now working smarter instead of harder.

But still, even then, there's going to be things that you're not going to love.

You can't be on a high 100% of the time.

It's not natural and it's definitely not realistic.

Have I rambled on long enough to make my point?

Awesome.

Well, I hope you all have a fantastic day!

If you can, I'd love it if you could hit that subscribe button and of course, hit the

like button.

And let me know in the comments below what you do to focus on the have-tos so you can

get to the want-tos.

What do I want to do?

I want to travel all of that.

And eat.

Now eat.

That's something I can do right now so I'm going to go do that.

Why did the bicycle slow down?

Cause he was two-tired.

Auto-Tuning: What Automatic Plan Correction Does and How to Enable It - Duration: 6:15.

-: Welcome to Automatic Plan Correction with Query Store.

This is a live webcast.

My name is Kendra Little and I am the founder

and creator of SQLWorkbooks.com.

Today, we will be looking at one part of

the new Automatic Tuning features in SQL Server.

We will be looking at a feature

called Automatic Plan Correction, which uses Query Store

in your SQL Server 2017 database or higher to look for

cases where a query has slowed down significantly.

It can notice that, hey, when you run with this plan

you're faster. We had a regression, so I'm going to

automatically tune you and give you the fast plan,

then I'm going to validate and make sure it really is faster.

It's got some intelligence there about trying out

this faster plan, and it is designed as a safety net

so that you can make sure that your queries

don't slow down forever.

It's not going to prevent your queries

from ever getting slow, because it has to

notice that they got slow, but it can then jump in and say

"Hey, maybe I can speed you up."

There's another part of Automatic Tuning

that we won't see today that's called

automatic index management: it's

currently available in Azure SQL Database.

Maybe it will show up somewhere along the roadmap in

the version of SQL Server that we install ourselves, later.

That's for another day, because we can spend

the whole day today talking about Automatic Plan Correction.

Our mission today in exploring this is:

okay how do we turn it on, what does it do,

and, if you're interested in this,

what is a starter plan for using it?

And I'm actually really excited about this

and if you have Enterprise Edition I think you should

at least be looking at the recommendations for this,

if you're on 2017 or higher. Potentially this could

even take part in, if you're making a proposal

to upgrade SQL Server to get the money for that,

potentially this could be one of the

selling points for your upgrade as well.

I think it's a really interesting feature.

Some folks are frightened of this because it sounds like

maybe we won't need DBAs anymore.

I think, really, it's exciting

rather than threatening and I'll show you why.

So first up, how do I turn it on?

It is not complicated to turn it on at all.

The first thing you need to know, though,

is that you do have to have the Query Store feature enabled.

The plan correction relies on Query Store collecting

the plans and aggregate information about performance

about, okay, how much average CPU time is that plan using?

So we have to have Query Store

all set up first and collecting data.

Then, we enable Automatic Tuning.

Now here is the bad news.

Automatic Tuning is Enterprise Edition only.

Query Store itself is not only in Enterprise Edition.

You can use Query Store widely-- and I am going to show you,

okay if I don't have Enterprise Edition

and I don't have Automatic Tuning,

what can I do with Query Store where I can at least

see the types of things it's making suggestions about?

I'll give you kind of a work-around,

the manual version, if you don't have Enterprise Edition.

The other thing about Automatic Tuning

is you enable for the entire database.

You can't turn this on for just a given schema.

You can't say, "I want to tune

everything except that procedure."

It's all the queries that run in a database,

whether the queries are in stored procedures or not.

Now we've got a question here from Allen.

Allen says, "Is this only available in Enterprise Edition?"

Yes, in fact, only Enterprise Edition and I did also

do a check that, okay, can I see the suggestions

if I'm not in Enterprise Edition?

In fact I can't even see suggestions in the DMV

if I'm not in Enterprise Edition.

Here is the command that we use to turn this on.

Right now in SQL Server 2017

we can say set AUTOMATIC_TUNING FORCE_LAST_GOOD_PLAN ON.

That is the Automatic Plan Correction feature.

That doesn't automatically tune my indexes.

This will look for regressions in my query plans

and try to see if the last good one,

the last fast one, really is faster when I keep running it.

If you try to run this command in Standard Edition,

it gives you a nice little message that says:

please insert more dollars if you want to

turn on the Automatic Tuning feature.

Wah wah wah.

Sorry about that, but like I said, I will show you

if you are in Standard Edition, how can I see

the types of queries that this would tune in my Query Store?

We've got a way to do that.

Let's now do the fun part and dig in and start

looking at Automatic Plan Correction.

You've got these scripts available for download.

What I wanted to do was create a set of scripts

where, just using Management Studio,

you could restore a small database,

this uses the BabbyNames Database

that you can download for free,

and then, run a workload against that database

that gets a procedure that is auto-tuned.

So I've configured Query Store,

I've enabled that forced last good plan,

and then I've already run this workload

which runs a query that is

sometimes fast and is sometimes slow.

Human Needs Psychology - What Need Did The Narcissist Meet For You? - Duration: 5:00.

hi everybody all humans have there are six needs that we have and what makes us

different is the priorities that we the different priorities we place on these

six needs many different ways you can't get these needs met you can meet them

all in very impacting empowering ways neutral ways or disempowering ways meet

them in most people most people will meet their needs in immediate ways but

they're not sustainable so for instance the first human need is for certainty

this is the need that we have that we know that we're gonna be we're gonna be

safe for needs these first four needs our needs that we will all find a way of

meeting all of us will no matter what we do we will all find a way to meet them

the last two are spiritual needs and a very few of us meet them on a regular

basis but the ones of us who do have truly fulfilling lives so so okay so the

certainty what would life be like if you were always certain if you could always

count on everything if you always knew what was going to happen before it

happened it's for uncertainty and uncertainty means being a variety we

need excitement we need surprise and if people are gonna differ on how much they

need each one the level to which you need certainty versus uncertainty it's

gonna be individual in into your own personality probably based a lot on your

own experiences and third human need of significance the fourth human need is

love and connection most people settle for connection carrying it over love

because they've been even hurt they don't trust love

been rejected and so they they don't go all in looking for love anymore there

they don't trust it so they settle for connection so and

then okay so so like I said everyone is going to some some way I'm gonna get go

about meeting these four needs everyone does and these are the needs that we

really need to meet in order to have a fulfilling life a real strong sense of

meaning in our life and so number five is growth and and this is I think really

important I used to be a much more of a perfectionist than I am anymore

and that's because I you know I basically have discovered growth is all

about progress progress equals happiness you know write that down

progress equals happiness it doesn't have to be perfection it doesn't have to

be it doesn't have to even be accomplishment if you have a goal and

you accomplish it and you don't immediately set a new goal that that

about accomplishing that goal is not gonna sustain you very long you're gonna

get complacent and uh maybe satisfy a very long it's hanging the

accomplishment that makes this makes it satisfied or makes it feel contented it

is becoming the person that we become in order to meet the goal that's what we

need that's the constant progress that gives us a general sense of well-being

and a sense of purpose in the world and then of course number six is the need

for contribution that's the need to give to something bigger than yourself

something beyond yourself this can be a family this can be the community this

can be God this can be a purpose you know it can be all kinds of different

things but it's something that beyond just your own achievement in your

own accomplishment it the growth has become really really important to me and

and then my contribution has moved beyond my family and it's become a

bigger outside of my family contribution that I wanted to make

You're Getting What You're Creating...with Elizabeth Peru - Duration: 1:55.

Hello, I'm Elizabeth Peru and this is the week of March 2 to 8, 2018 in your

Tip-Off Global Energy Forecast - life is like being in a room of mirrors. What

you see around you, what you experience around you, is what you're creating from

within you. Perhaps you know that intellectually, but this week it's more

paramount than usual to focus on it. We've just come through Eclipse season

physically, emotionally, spiritually mentally. You've changed,

Earth's changed, the cosmos has shifted all of us and it's more important than

ever that we 'refocus' ourselves, that we focus on what's within us because that

IS going to be what you experience outside of yourself. And I know many of

you are reporting on a bit of chaos going on outside of you. Well, it all

comes from within you. You've been stirred up, now it's time to rebalance.

And in this week's forecast 'every day' I'm going to show you how. Let's work

together this week, over the next seven days, day by day because the energy is

quite specific. Work with it, work with the cycles to advance your life and get

back on track. I look forward to sharing it with you. Have a beautiful week, you can

do this and thank you...

What to do at the scene of a car crash - Duration: 12:50.

hello so in this video we're going to take a look at what to do if you're involved in a car crash

I'm going to tell you what the legal requirements are what you must do then

more importantly maybe well you mustn't do there are certain things you mustn't

do or say or you could end up in trouble so let's get straight into the video now

look at three major things you must do immediately if you're involved in a car

crash so the first one is most importantly check if anyone in your

vehicle is injured make sure you look at everyone but ask everyone if you feel

okay say if you've had a friend asleep in the

back seat don't just assume that they're still asleep that may have been injured

you do need to if it's safe to do so wake them up and check if they're okay

they'll probably been working up anyway but even in fairly minor crashes

people can get injured quite easily know if anyone is injured of course call for

an ambulance the next thing you need to do is make

sure you get the number plate of the other vehicle

it's very common I've had this happen to me where people crash into you they

realize it's their fault and it's Drive off and it's hoping that you haven't got

the number plate now if you've got an in-car camera system they are invaluable

not the one I use it's so handy to have that because if they do drive off no no

you can't prove they drew they drove off before other than them to apply to

anyway because you'll have got it recorded before the crash they even

happened the third thing you need to do is don't just jump out your vehicle so

before you get out your car have a look around and taken the situation around

you does it look suspicious are there any people standing at the side of the

road he looked like they may be talking to

the other driver is the more than one person in the other vehicle it's a two

or three people in that car is anyone on the phone before the crash even happened

they got cameras filming you because when I last what happens a lot on a

nowadays is people will get together in a car they'll go and cause a crush then

they'll all pretend they've injured two men loads of money and I conveniently

had their phones out filming at the time of the crush to trying you know to make

the money off you to try and get the conversation another thing that can

often happen is that people which won't steal your car they'll go and Nick a car

will buy an old banger and then are driving is your vehicle called

and then they'll just get out when you get a you jump out to look at the car

see what damage you is they'll get in your vehicle and drive off so those

things are rare but they do happen so if you involved in the crush number one

check your people injured number two okay the other vehicles number plate and

number three don't just jump out of the vehicle assess your surroundings if you

look suspicious lock the doors and stay in your vehicle if it's safe to do so

now let's move on to why you actually need to do when you meet the driver so

when you carry your vehicle then you made the other driver the main thing is

keep calm and polite don't start making threats don't get angry don't start

saying they're an idiot and they've crashing their serum and all that you

learning about the situation worse now by law they must give you their details

if they refuse that's a good enough reason to call the police you can't just

have a crush and say I'm not telling you where I live no not going to tell you

you must by law give the other person your details the minimum you should go

through the person is a name address and I can turn them but if it isn't their

vehicle you also need the address of the owner and the vehicle now there are some

situations where you might feel threatened maybe the other person has

been aggressive maybe the son I'm going to find out where you live and I'm going

to come and sort you out tonight no another situation now I've

never been in this situation myself but I believe you can do you can nominate a

police station so you say to the person look I won't give you my details now

because I believe you're going to do something stupid I'm going to go down a

local police station I'm not going to give them my details tell them which

station it's going to be now that advice used to be on an official government

website he was actually taken down a few days ago just before I film this video

so I would say that you're better off giving them your details right away but

if you've got a very good reason to feel that threatened by them although they

are making threats against you don't feel ashamed to call the police if

they're being aggressive and they're threatening you you've got every right

to do that now next thing you need to do is take photos and/or video of your

vehicle now pretty much everyone's got a phone with a camera on these days so get

your phone out take some photos why because what can happen is people

will have a fairly minor crush and then the other person will go away and have

another crush although you start getting a hammer smashing the car in and I

minded damaged much worse than it is to try and get and you car out of it

instead he just have a linear bumper but I'll know my hole for an end it was

smushed in look at it and they've gone in driven into a lamppost or something I

know it sounds unlikely but it does happen you need to take pictures of your

vehicle and the other vehicle to make sure that that's the damage there was

there trying to video it you know I've done this several times as you'll see

almost sites there were several videos on there you can watch me involved

several different crushes and say Howard out with them and I do take photos in my

vehicle and the other vehicle it's essentially the eyes because

unfortunately people are not honest anymore and people will try and make

money out of a bad situation now if you've been involved in the crash

you know position let's say you're on an amide you Junction you do need to try

and get out of the way but make sure you get the details first make sure you get

the other drivers name address and number trying it up before you move away

from the area unless you in the media danger because guess what some drivers

won't give you the details they'll just say oh yeah we'll drive around the

corner pull over there and I'll give them a name then they just

drive off when you get the other person to give you the details make sure that I

buy them name don't write them down yourself don't be there with a pen and

paper so much your name what's your address get them to write it down why or

two reasons first of all it proves that over there because you've got their

handwriting on a piece of paper I had a crush once where the other driver said I

wasn't even there on the only thing about it and I'll send

the document a bit of paper he'd written on so my June scum date and I said to

him ball can you explain if you weren't there how come he's got your handwriting

with you know him the dress on and he tried to make out all that's because I

know him any was going to come into my house do some painting or some rubbish

get them yeah get them to write down their details it proves one they over

there and he also proves secondly that those are the details I gave you you

could write it down a name say oh no I didn't sign number ten or

said number 20 you must have misheard me and are trying to fake it so get them to

ride the details own never ride and Diaoyu so you write down your details

they have all known their details don't just listen to other sign and write it

down now if you've crushed into another

vehicles you need to design for each vehicle if you're involved in a three or

four car pileup each person needs to give their details well if you've

crashed into a parked car we need to make a know the details it's a good idea

to leave your details on a paper underneath their windscreen wiper just

put a note saying you know this vehicles involved in accident these are Mardis

house this is mine Shira and then they can contact you if you've injured any or

hun injured if you've damaged any way called street furniture not benches

lamppost it's a good idea to call the council and tell them you don't always

have to you know if you saw could it all scratched on the lung person something

if you've caused serious damage to a bus stop for example you need to contact the

owner of that property and tell them otherwise you could end up in more

trouble because you haven't told them now so far that's what should do let's

have a look what you shouldn't do never ever admit fault for the crush the

reason for this is you don't know if it's your fault or not now let's look at

this scenario for example you're driving down the road

it's just sorry you know you're going a little bit over the speed limit

eating 33 in a third zone a car pulls out from the left and you crash into

them and you get out sunl sorry sorry I was going to see fast

that's my fault and the other drivers thinking what a mug I was on my phone I

didn't even sting coming down the road and he's just emitted it's his fault

don't be like that don't ever admit fault don't say sorry because saying

sorry is our way of admitting fault all you need to do is exchange details leave

the scene you be very cold and calculated don't saw get into arguments

don't start saying it's falsities don't start saying you're injured

now the reason so don't start saying you're injured is in many injuries

actually don't appear dull hours or sometimes even days later when you get

these people who are involved in a car crash and the start sign or me neck

in a corpsman exerting I've had a wee plush and he didn't start four hours

till after the crash so people start saying that they're injured maybe they

are but they often you don't feel injuries till later on so if you run

your phone you insurers to report the accident don't tell them you injured

unless you are of course tell them you are injured but don't make out you

injured if you're not don't try my money from conversation because if you do that

but you couldn't evaluate your whole claim unless you are I call of course

actually injured don't try and make some money for me because unfortunately

nowadays people involved in car crashes one of the first things people think is

all great money or get thousands conversation it isn't that easy you will

have to locate through medical medical examinations and it's not as easy as you

once so please don't go and try make money out of a bad situation after

you've been involved in the crash write down what happened Strada why why

because you're forgetting you might be surprised by this but within an hour of

a crash you start to died things when it happens you'll think why did i polite I

was clearly Stigler left they didn't see it and I would see lighter your mind

start playing stops to fight tricks on you and you'll think hold on was I

signaling do you know put it on did he wide me to go what did I imagine that

it's so easy to forget write it down as soon as you can but I done everything

you think I'll go even better get you come right and record it speaking to the

camera saying exactly what happened because believe me your mind apply

tricks on you and you'll start to die will actually happened

take it easy because a crash can have more of an effect on you than you think

maybe sad the rest of the day off work if you were going to go out somewhere

maybe don't go out somewhere it's surprising how much the car crash can

affect you and it's quite a comment if you to feel nothing at the time and a

few hours later your hands are shaking you start getting a pounding headache

stomach acts are very common you'll get horrible horrific stomach cramps and you

might need a day off work or off whatever you do so take it easy up to a

crush and give yourself a few days to recover even if it's fairly minor

the final thing I'll say for now is don't talk to the other persons in

shira's you're very often get a phone call from the other person's he/she was

a few days later or even a few hours later saying we understand you've been

involved in a crush we're really sorry it was our our persons full will give

you some money we'll settle it now that normally means that I know it's going to

be very expensive and I know that they were a fault

not the problem this is once you've set all the case if you accept money for

that case that's all yet you can't cabal later not

for more so they may offer you a thousand pounds anything with thousand

pounds I'll type that your car goes for garage and the side is three thousand

pounds of damage and you might be covered because you've already accepted

what they offered you before now in terms of going for Gary's getting it

fixed and all that you insurers will go through that with you so I'm not gonna

go over one now it's different for every company but most companies will arrange

feet secured to a garage of their choice I'm gonna prove to Peres you will

normally get a courtesy car but there's so many variations on that I'm not going

to go over them all so I hope you found that video helpful it is really useful

to know what to do at the scene of a crash and if you have nobody watch them

have a look at the videos I've done where you can watch me being involved in

a crash myself and have a look at what I did

I've been looking well actually happened and you'll see me following these pieces
