Hello everybody.

The aim of this particular video is to effect a greater

understanding of the difference between affect and effect affecting your

understanding of English as a whole with the effect that you don't have to affect

an understanding of the difference between affect and effect.

This is how to teach English

If you search the internet for the difference between affect and effect,

you will come across this saying:

but this is only partially true because affect and effect can be both nouns and verbs.

We use affect as a verb when we want to talk about adjusting or altering something.

Effect, as a noun, is the end result of that change.

For example: the images that you are looking at now are affecting your concentration.

The effect is that you are not really paying attention to what I'm saying to you.

Hello!

Eyes here!

Thank you very much.

Another example is:

The best way to remember all this is that 'A' comes before 'E'

and affect comes before effect

so therefore, the action, the process of change, has to come before the result of that change

As I've already said, affect as a verb and effect as a noun is only half the story,

but it is the most common way that we use these two words

so if you want to leave it there, that's fine.

I'll even put up a youtube video end card for you and no one is going to know

that you didn't watch the entire video

It will, however, affect your understanding of these two words.

Bye Bye now.

Effect is also a verb

and it means to bring into existence something that is intangible or conceptual

as a result of a previous action.

For example:

Here, the political sex scandal is the previous event

effected is the verb in the past tense meaning to bring about

and a change is the conceptual noun.

Another example is:

Affect, as a noun, has the stress on the first syllable

and it means the outward appearance or behaviour that is usually fake

and used as a cover to hide someone's true emotion

or characteristics or mood.

For example: the cartoon characters Snoopy

often has the affect of a cool character.

An introvert may have to learn and adopt

the affects of an extrovert

maybe in order to do YouTube videos!

So to sum up:

The aim of this particular video is to effect a greater understanding of the

difference between affect and effect affecting your understanding of English

as a whole with the effect that you don't have to affect an understanding of

the difference between affect and effect

This is how teach English.

Melania's First WH Christmas to Michelle's Last, Difference Is Night and Day - Duration: 1:53.

First lady Melania Trump revealed the White House Christmas decorations on Monday, and

they are a far cry from what we saw during the Obamas' last Christmas at 1600 Pennsylvania

Avenue.

One noticeable difference between the two types of decorating styles is the ambiance

created.

Melania's chosen decorations evoke a magical and peaceful tone, as demonstrated with white

lights and traditional decorations.

Trump posted a video to Instagram of the decorations, and some of the scenes look as though the

White House has been transformed into a winter wonderland.

The video also included a nativity scene, signaling the president's promise to replace

the homogenized "Happy Holidays" with "Merry Christmas."

One way to do that is to recognize how important Jesus is to the Christmas season.

In contrast, the Obama's last Christmas at the White House was filled with Lego gingerbread

houses.

The U.K. Daily Mail reported that a team of Lego builders created 56 gingerbread houses

from more than 200,000 Lego pieces.

Because Christmas is all about Legos.

The Obama Christmas decorations also included real gingerbread houses.

The U.K. Daily Mail reported that the gingerbread replica of the White House weighed more than

300 pounds, and included 150 pounds of gingerbread covered with 100 pounds of bread dough.

Other decorations in the Obama White House looked more like giant toys than anything

else.

In fact, from looking at the decorations, one could not tell that they were related

the birth of Christ at all.

That isn't surprising, as former President Barack Obama did his best to erase any trace

of Christianity from the White House when he lived there.

Thankfully, we have a president that is not afraid to recognize where the spirit of Christmas

comes from.

TrialNet: You're Making a Difference - Duration: 1:51.

Hello, I am dr. Desmond Schatz from the TrialNet team at the University of

Florida. Each November, communities across the country observe National Diabetes

Awareness Month to bring attention to the disease and

impact on millions of Americans. TrialNet families understand too well the

burden of diabetes and we are grateful for the time and effort you devote to

type one diabetes research. With the help of thousands of volunteers who are

participating in our clinical studies, we are learning more and more about how the

disease develops. We've learned that type 1 diabetes begins early very often in

the first years of life and progresses through well-defined stages to clinical

disease. These stages can be identified in relatives. Screening of susceptible

populations in TrialNet will serve as a framework for future TrialNet studies

aimed at testing new interventions to preserve insulin production and to delay

or prevent progression of the disease. TrialNet researchers in the United

States and around the world are committed to advancing type 1 diabetes

research and it takes a team effort to make a difference.

Families, researchers, physicians, advocates, nurses and others working

side-by-side. Families truly are the most important members of our research team.

Thank you for making the decision to participate. Your contributions are

helping us all learn more and more and moving us closer to the ultimate

prevention and cure of type 1 diabetes.

Trump Reveals WH Christmas Card, Americans Quickly Notice 1 HUGE Difference From Obama's - Duration: 4:45.

Christmas has descended on the White House, where Monday marked the official start of

the holiday festivities at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Along with First Lady Melania Trump's jaw-dropping decorations, the First Family's official

Christmas card was also unveiled.

Americans quickly noticed that there is one huge difference between what the Trumps are

sending out this year versus what the Obamas did last year.

The First Family spent their Thanksgiving holiday at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago

estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and when they returned to Washington, D.C., they wasted

no time in kicking off the Christmas season.

On Monday, First Lady Melania Trump unveiled the White House Christmas decorations which

she has been preparing for months.

In keeping with this year's theme, which is "Time-Honored Traditions," Melania's

decor includes wreaths, peppermint candies in the Red Room, and an entire tree dedicated

to Gold Star families.

Among the new touches this year: On the outside, wreaths topped with red bows adorn every White

House window.

Inside, glistening wintry branches line both sides of an East Wing hallway that leads guests

to a tree decorated with the Trump family's official Christmas ornament, a gold-toned

bauble featuring the presidential coat of arms surrounded by a wreath of holly.

[Source: Independent] Also on Monday, Melania welcomed schoolchildren

from Joint Base Andrews to the White House to be the first guests to view her breath-taking

decorations.

The kids made garland and decorated Christmas cards, with one little boy exclaiming that

the first lady looked just like an angel when he caught a glimpse of her.

Indeed, the First Family has gone to great lengths to bring Christmas back to the White

House this year after eight years of the Obama administration, which seemingly did its very

best to ruin everything about the holiday, even adorning the White House Christmas trees

with Communist leaders and drag queens.

Mao Zedong is in the White House, hanging out with a drag queen.

Not far away, Barack Obama is making a play to have his head etched in stone.

Critics of President Obama are setting their sights this week on the official White House

Christmas tree, which features controversial ornaments including an orb depicting the late

Chinese dictator, another that shows drag queen Hedda Lettuce, and yet another that

shows a picture of Mount Rushmore — with Obama's head pasted to the side of Washington,

Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt's.

[Source: Fox News] Thank goodness, we're no longer dealing

with that!

The Trumps have taken a decidedly more traditional approach to their Christmas preparations,

thank God.

And, Christmas at the White House wouldn't be complete without a carefully-crafted Christmas

card sent out from the First Family.

The Trump Family Christmas card, which was released on Monday along with Melania's

decorations, is another welcome departure from what Obama sent out in 2016.

The most notable difference is that Obama's politically correct card wished Americans

"Happy Holidays," while Trump's card says, "Merry Christmas."

On Monday, the Trump family debuted their holiday card, which wishes Americans a Merry

Christmas and a Happy New Year, instead of the generic, more politically correct, 'Happy

Holidays.'

That's different from last year's card sent out by President Obama, which included

a family photo and wished Americans a 'joyous holiday season.'

[Source: Daily Mail] The First Family's Christmas card is signed

by President Trump, his beautiful wife Melania, and their 11-year-old son Barron, who is also

featured prominently in this year's White House Christmas tour.

Guests who come to view the decorations at the executive residence will be treated to

an illustrated version of Barron guiding them through the tour in the White House Christmas

booklet.

The booklet begins with a cartoon version of Barron on the cover guiding the horse-drawn

carriage which delivered the White House's Christmas tree.

Barron wasn't actually behind the wheel when the 18-foot, 6-inch Wisconsin-grown Balsam

Fir was delivered last week, but alongside his mother, he did receive the massive tree,

which is now displayed in the White House's Blue Room.

The Trump Family's Christmas card is displayed in the "Bookseller's" area of the White

House for all to see.

His supporters can chock it up to another campaign promise kept by the president, who

infamously pledged to "say Merry Christmas again."

Trump repeated that pledge most recently in October at the Values Voter Summit when he

said, "They don't use the word 'Christmas' because it's not politically correct.

We're saying 'Merry Christmas' again."

SHARE this report to show that you're thrilled to see that the Trumps have brought Christmas

back to the White House!
