Today we are gonna make Restaurant Style Chicken Karahi
Let's make it
I have soaked 1/2 kg chicken into water with 1 tbsp salt
Soaked for 2 hours
Then we'll use grated 2 tomatoes and 1 onion
So it will be like smoothie
Strain yogurt with strainer so it will become smooth like cream
First, we'll put chicken in strainer to strain it's water
See, I'm straining yogurt like this
If you'll strain like this then there'll be no lumps in it
It will become smooth
Keep This Aside
Take a pan in which we'll make chicken (karahi)
Add almost 5-6 tbsp oil in it
Then add strained chicken
We'll fry chicken until it changes color
See, it turn into white color
Now take out chicken
In same pan
We'll add Garam Masala
We have Cumin Seeds, Clove, Cinnamon Stick & Black Cardamom in this
Now we'll add grated onion
Once it's transparant
Then add grated tomatoes
Benefit of grating is that we'll get smooth gravy
Our gravy will smooth and delicious
Now add spices
Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder & Salt
As we have already added salt in chicken while soaking
So Now we'll add 1/2 tsp salt
Add 1 Tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
We'll check salt later on if required then we'll add in the end
Add 1/2 Tsp Crushed Black Pepper
Now we'll parch the gravy
See, gravy parched properly
It's quickly parch as we have used grated onion & tomatoes
Add Chicken Now
Cook until chicken festered 50%
Then add yogurt
Mix it well
Sqeeze 1/2 lemon
Cook until chicken completely festered
Cook on low to medium heat
chicken will cook in onion/ tomatoes water
Now add water as much as you want gravy
I have added almost 1/2 cup water
Add butter and mix it well
Add Green Chilies
Now we'll put this on steam cook
I have cooked on steam for 6-7 minutes
Our Restaurant Style Chicken is ready
You can see the smooth gravy
Because we have added grated oinon & Tamato
And added strained yogurt as well
