Auto news on Youtube Sep 29 2017

Hi, This is Ariel

and today's video was a special request

from one of my Patrons, on Patreon

if you don't know what it is, I left a link for it on the description of this and every other video of mine

and it's a website where people can support me, for videos that I post

people can support my music, my art, the way the they can

donating money, however they choose

for each video that I post

all the money that I get from Patreon

I save to invest in my music career

to record music, to get better equipment, to get better quality videos...

things like that

Richard was the one who requested this song

and on this website, people from all over the world can support people from all over the world

does it make sense?

and Richard is not brazilian

and he requested me to do this song

and on Patreon, when you're someone's Patron

when you invest in someone

you can get certain rewards

and Richard was a patron this month who got a reward that was to choose a song for me to record specially to him

and he chose this song

so I'm trying to do my best

and I hope you enjoy it

and I hope that him, specially, enjoys it

if you can somehow help me with this

I'll be very grateful, cuz

as you know, "youtuber" is not my profession

I barely make money out of it and it takes me a really long time to be able to get some money from it

and on Patreon I'm able to make a little more money, which allows me to invest in my music

to make better videos and to post more often. To be able to actually invest more time in it

because, as you know, I can't pay my bills with youtube

Im actually a Master's student

I'm a dentist

and I have to invest most of my time in it

but if I can make some money doing music

then I can invest more time in music

I can stop investing so much time in other stuff to invest in music

and for me that's amazing, cuz it's what I love to do the most in the whole world

I won't stop posting videos

and I will most definitely not start charging people for videos

so it's a donation that whoever can and wants to invest in me, can do

and it's a support that makes the difference for me

so that's it, here we go

Everything is misunderstood.

Stop with the excuses.

I saw you deliver the anonymous cards to that guy.

The same one who appeared on the security camera's.

I gave you all my trust and you betrayed me.

You were lying to me the entire time.

You were enjoying my suffering.

I suffered too.

I also suffered a lot because of you.

I didn't want to do it but I had no other option.

What are you talking about?

I was always at your feet.

I always did all the impossible to help you, to give everything to you.

I did everything but you never noticed me.

You pressured me every time.

I respected you, I looked at you and you never noticed anything.

Nothing.

What are you referring to?

To me, you never were more than just an employee.

You're not my friend.

Nothing else.

I don't want to be either right now.

I don't want to either.

That's how you thank me for all the years, I dedicated me.

Is this how you thank me?

If it wasn't for me, everyone would know you're a liar.

I looked out for you.

I'm not interested in listening to you any longer.

It's enough. What do you want? More money?

Now you have it. Leave now.

Disappear from my sight. I don't want to see you again.

Leave this residence.

If you don't want to leave, it will be bad for you.

BBC 6 Minute English - What can't computers do? - Duration: 6:19.

Welcome to 6 Minute English, where we bring you an intelligent topic and six related items

of vocabulary.

I'm Neil.

And I'm Tim.

And today we're talking about AI – or Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence is the ability of machines to copy human intelligent behaviour

– for example, an intelligent machine can learn from its own mistakes, and make decisions

based on what's happened in the past.

There's a lot of talk about AI these days, Neil, but it's still just science fiction,

isn't it?

That's not true – AI is everywhere.

Machine thinking is in our homes, offices, schools and hospitals.

Computer algorithms are helping us drive our cars.

They're diagnosing what's wrong with us in hospitals.

They're marking student essays…

They're telling us what to read on our smartphones…

Well, that really does sound like science fiction – but it's happening already,

you say, Neil?

It's definitely happening, Tim.

And an algorithm, by the way, is a set of steps a computer follows in order to solve

a problem.

So can you tell me what was the name of the computer which famously beat world chess champion

Garry Kasparov using algorithms in 1997?

Was it… a) Hal,

b) Alpha 60 or c) Deep Blue?

I'll say Deep Blue.

Although I'm just guessing.

Was it an educated guess, Tim?

I know a bit about chess…

An educated guess is based on knowledge and experience and is therefore likely to be correct.

Well, we'll find out later on how educated your guess was in this case, Tim!

Indeed.

But getting back to AI and what machines can do – are they any good at solving real-life

problems?

Computers think in zeros and ones don't they?

That sounds like a pretty limited language when it comes to life experience!

You would be surprised to what those zeroes and ones can do, Tim.

Although you're right that AI does have its limitations at the moment.

And if something has limitations there's a limit on what it can do or how good it can

be.

OK – well now might be a good time to listen to Zoubin Bharhramani, Professor of Information

Engineering at the University of Cambridge and deputy director of the Leverhulme Centre

for the Future of Intelligence.

He's talking about what limitations AI has at the moment.

I think it's very interesting how many of the things that we take for granted – we

humans take for granted – as being sort of things we don't even think about like

how do we walk, how do we reach, how do we recognize our mother.

You know, all these things.

When you start to think how to implement them on a computer, you realize that it's those

things that are incredibly difficult to get computers to do, and that's where the current

cutting edge of research is.

If we take something for granted we don't realise how important something is.

You sometimes take me for granted, I think, Neil.

No – I never take you for granted, Tim!

You're far too important for that!

Good to hear!

So things we take for granted are doing every day tasks like walking, picking something

up, or recognizing somebody.

We implement – or perform – these things without thinking – Whereas it's cutting

edge research to try and program a machine to do them.

Cutting edge means very new and advanced.

It's interesting isn't it, that over ten years ago a computer beat a chess grand master

– but the same computer would find it incredibly difficult to pick up a chess piece.

I know.

It's very strange.

But now you've reminded me that we need the answer to today's question.

Which was: What was the name of the computer who famously beat world chess champion Garry

Kasparov in 1997?

Now, you said Deep Blue, Tim, and … that was the right answer!

You see, my educated guess was based on knowledge and experience!

Or maybe you were just lucky.

So, the IBM supercomputer Deep Blue played against US world chess champion Garry Kasparov

in two chess matches.

The first match was played in Philadelphia in 1996 and was won by Kasparov.

The second was played in New York City in 1997 and won by Deep Blue.

The 1997 match was the first defeat of a reigning world chess champion by a computer under tournament

conditions.

Let's go through the words we learned today.

First up was 'artificial intelligence' or AI – the ability of machines to copy

human intelligent behaviour.

"There are AI programs that can write poetry."

Do you have any examples you can recite?

Afraid I don't!

Number two – an algorithm is a set of steps a computer follows in order to solve a problem.

For example, "Google changes its search algorithm hundreds of times every year."

The adjective is algorithmic – for example, "Google has made many algorithmic changes."

Number three – if something has 'limitations' – there's a limit on what it can do or

how good it can be.

"Our show has certain limitations – for example, it's only six minutes long!"

That's right – there's only time to present six vocabulary items.

Short but sweet!

And very intelligent, too.

OK, the next item is 'take something for granted' – which is when we don't realise

how important something is.

"We take our smart phones for granted these days – but before 1995 hardly anyone owned

one."

Number five – 'to implement' – means to perform a task, or take action.

"Neil implemented some changes to the show."

The final item is 'cutting edge' – new and advanced – "This software is cutting

edge."

"The software uses cutting edge technology."

OK – that's all we have time for on today's cutting edge show.

But please check out our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages.

Bye-bye!

Goodbye!

TVXQ's Yunho Reveals Why He Hates Eating Alone And Talks About What Changmin Means To Him - Duration: 2:33.

TVXQ's Yunho Reveals Why He Hates Eating Alone And Talks About What Changmin Means To Him

TVXQs Yunho opened up about why he has a hard time eating alone and also talked about what fellow member Changmin means to him.

On September 28, TVXQ held their Eat with TVXQ! broadcast on Navers V App.

The rules were that the broadcast would not end until the members of TVXQ finished the meal that was laid out in front of them, and the two members immediately busied themselves with grilling meat and digging into all the side dishes on the table.

While eating, Yunho revealed, In my family, my mom is very talkative and so am I, but when it comes to eating, we all tend to just focus on our food and each quietly. He continued to add, But Im not very good at eating alone.

I dont like it.

I went through some hardships in the past, and it made me hate being alone.

Im reminded of those times when I eat alone, so Ill usually video call a friend to keep me company..

As the duo continued their conversation, Yunho remarked, I think whats as important as how tasty your food is, is who youre eating with.

When Changmin asked, And who are you eating with right now? Yunho showed his love for his fellow member as he replied, My best friend, my family, my dear Changmin.

What's Hot Campaign 22, 2017 - Giveaway - Duration: 8:24.

Hi friends! Jessica here and I wanted to share with you today WHAT'S HOT in

our campaign 22 brochure, the insiders guide to skincare.

I am having a giveaway in this video I've never done one before so I am super excited!

I hope that you are too! So keep watching and you will learn what I'm giving away and how to win it.

Most experts agree that having a basic skincare routine is essential to

lifelong beautiful skin. I agree with that too!

Avon has been one of the frontrunners in anti-aging and skincare technology.

In fact, Avon was the first company to mass market Alpha Hydroxy Acid in skincare and

now AHA is used in all skincare brands across the world!

I think that is fabulous that Avon was the first to bring it out to everyone.

So, a couple of my favorite favorite products I'm gonna highlight

here in our brochure. The first one is ...

is our Anew Clinical Extra-Strength Retexturizing Peel.

These are little pads. This was like if you were to get a chemical peel but this is

the at-home version. What it does is sloughs off all the dead skin cells and

it reveals a brighter fresher and more evened out texture of your skin.

I love these! There are 30 pads and see they're a bunch of pads.

How you use them, you wash your face and then you dry your face. You don't want moisture on it.

Use the pads, wipe it all over and let it air dry. It might tingle

a little bit. If it tingles a little more than you like, you just need

to wait a bit more time after you cleanse your face to use these.

These are fabulous! I have a couple facts about these that I

wanted to share with you. I'm going to read them from the box because I want to

make sure I get it all right. In a seven-week study

100% of women showed improvement in skin texture and sun damage. 100%!

Isn't that amazing? 97% of women showed improvement in

radiance and fine lines when using this product. And this is my favorite one,

8 out of 10 women agreed that their post acne marks looked less visible.

Like sun damage too. For me I have struggled with hormonal, cystic acne and using

these has really helped minimize the look of them and helps even out my whole

skin tone and I love love love these! These are always on my counter and I

don't go without them. Fun fact about these clinical extra-strength

retexturizing peel pads is that the formula for these is patented.

Fun Fact about Avon, Avon has over 1,000 patents that have been

granted or are pending. 1,000 patents! Isn't that amazing? Avon is top notch

with our skincare. These retexturizing pads usually sell for $25 but they are on

special for $21.99 in this brochure. You will love these. I just love them oh

so very much. The next thing in this brochure...

Is our Power Serum! Our Anew Power Serum. This takes your skincare

routine up to another level, another notch. It's easy just to add into

what you're currently doing. Our Power Serum boosts what your moisturizer

already does. You can use it morning or night. Oh! and with these peel pads, you

can use these every other day. That is what is recommended.

This Power Serum you could use every day, morning and/or night.

Serums are jam-packed and it has concentrated active ingredients in it.

You wash your face, put on the Power Serum and then use your moisturizer.

The formula in this Power Serum is Advanced Boost Technology and it actually was designed

after Nobel prize-winning research. Isn't that phenomenal? I love that!

This Power Serum hydrates your skin. Smoothes out visible roughness and makes

your fine lines less obvious. Smoothes out your skin tone and you will

see a HUGE difference when use this. In fact, Power Serum is one of our top

selling products. AND Welcome to the giveaway!! I am giving away a brand-new

bottle of this power serum! How you can get it, is by commenting on this video

and sharing this video. I am going to put everyone into a raffle and I'm going to

choose a winner on October 10th.Tthat is the last day that you can order out

of this campaign 22 brochure, so October 10th I will raffle off

this bottle of Power Serum and either drop it off at your house or put it in the

mail to you. So make sure you get your entry in to win it! That is our Power Serum.

Oh! and I was going to show you, it is just a really lightweight, it's

almost like a gel. It blends in really easily when I put it on my face. I use

two pumps and it's amazing! Has really nice fresh, light scent.

I like it! The Power Serum normally sells for $40 and it's on special right

now for 22 99. I think that's fabulous.

So, that is the skincare.

A couple other things I wanted to share with you is our holiday preview items.

The holidays are coming and we have some amazing gift sets. These are just the

beginning stages of all of our holiday gifts. I just want to share with you

a couple of them. The first one is our glimmerstick eyeliner gift set.

We have a lips gift set, an eye shadow gift set.

Here is some of our fragrance gift sets for women. The little red dress and Prima.

Then we have a couple of men's fragrance gift sets. Prime and Mesmerize. Prime is one of my

favorite men's fragrances that Avon has. I love it when my husband wears this and

it's very masculine! and I love it!

The very last thing in our WHAT'S HOT

campaign 22 brochure, is our A Box. I've been talking about our A box in

every campaign video, since they came out because they are such great great deal.

The A box is all of these items for $10, when you have a $40 purchase with Avon

The value of this a box is $31 and it's our fresh and clean A box. It comes with two different

cleansers, our footworks footsoak, brightening sheet mask which is so fun, a

really neutral pink nail polish in the box for ten dollars!

That is my top picks for campaign 22 and make sure you comment on this video and share it and I

will get your entry in to WIN this Power Serum! Someone has to win it!

Comment and share! If you have any questions I am happy to help and I look forward to

talking to you guys soon! Hope you're having a good day! BYE!

What is in my Super Light 4k Filming Travel bag | Dji Mavic Pro, iPhone, Dji Osmo Mobile - Duration: 6:13.

tomorrow I'm going to Italy

but it's not going to be one of those trips where I will have a lot of time to

film or take pictures so I thought this would be a good opportunity to show you

my lightweight 4k filming travel kit so this is all I'm going to bring now I'm

going to tell you item by item why I bring it and what is for first of all

let's see which bags I'm going to bring with me I'm going to bring this Tenba

shoulder bag it is very practical because it is big, I think has 24 pockets

and also will allow me to put my computer here and store it safely and it

is big enough for everything I need to bring this time I will bring my macbook

pro so I will be able to edit on the fly I love the MacBook Pro but of course

as you know there's no USB or SD cards so I have this dongle and I like it a

lot it has HDMI micro SD, SD, three USB ports and a charging port

fantastic

the Mavic of course I will bring the Mavic with three batteries the

controller the filters it's the best thing I did a lot of videos on the Mavic

camera settings, gimbal settings search of my previous videos you will find a

lot of information there if you want to know more

bring my LaCie portable hard disk I usually backup all my footage here

when I'm on the go and then when I come back I will transfer all my footage in

another bigger hard disk in my office I will bring my iPhone 7 Plus, I know it's

old the iPhone 8 is coming the iPhone 10 is coming a little later for now this is

good enough and combined with the filmic Pro application you can really take

awesome quality footage with this I said it before but I am going to do a video

about filming with your iPhone the iPhone need to be stabilized and

something that I use is a small Joby tripod where I can put this iPhone

holder basically just like that very simple and then this is great because it

works for every size you can just size to the smaller iPhone 7 or 8 or 10 or

whatever for the Plus and then you just lock it to whatever is your width

great for time lapses but I love about these is that you have a cold shoe on top which will

allow you to put microphone, a light or whatever you need also something super

convenient is that this becomes a very good solid grip for your iPhone so when

you're on the go and you want to film without any stabilizer you actually use

this older as a grip and control your phone with your thumb

it's very good when you travel you need power so I use this power bank it

becomes also a flashlight great works and then I will bring my DJI Osmo mobile

which is fantastic you can take motion time lapses with this super stable

gimbal for my phone I purchased the Zhiyun version of this before but I

returned it because I didn't like that then I got this and I kept it because

it's fantastic I should talk about this in another video the DJI Osmo mobile

works very well but unfortunately it doesn't have it doesn't it doesn't have

a thread underneath so you need to use the thread on the side if you want to

attach to a tripod or something but to do that you need to have this

articulating arm that will attach to the side of your Osmo and then to whatever

you whatever else you have it might be a tripod or for me it's going to be this

clamp which I can basically attach almost anywhere and will allow me to do

motion time-lapses from wherever I am almost so this is my light weight 4k

filming kit I hope you liked this short video and one more time thanks for

watching see in the next video

What's Up for October

International Observe the Moon Night,

planet and moon pairups,

and a meteor shower!

Hello and welcome! I'm Jane Houston Jones from

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

You can't miss bright Venus in the predawn sky.

Look for fainter Mars below Venus on the 1st,

really close on the 5th,

and above Venus after that.

Midmonth, the moon is visible near Regulus,

the white starry heart of the constellation Leo.

In the October 8-11 predawn sky

watch the moon glide near the Pleiades star cluster

and pass near the red stars

Aldebaran in the constellation Taurus

and Betelgeuse in Orion.

[whoosh]

After dusk in the early part of the month

look for Saturn in the southwest sky above another red star:

Antares in Scorpius.

Later in the month

find the moon above Antares October 22 and 23.

Saturn will be above the moon on the 23rd

and below it on the 24th.

[whoosh]

Uranus reach opposition on October 19th.

It's visible all night long

and its blue-green color is unmistakeable.

It may be bright enough to see with your naked eye--

and for sure in binoculars.

[whoosh]

The Orionids peak on October 20 a dark, moonless night.

Look near Orion's club in the hours before dawn

and you may see up to 10 to 15 meteors per hour.

[whoosh]

Use binoculars to look for bright asteroid 7 Iris

in the constellation Aries.

Newbies to astronomy should be able to spot

this magnitude 6.9 asteroid --even from the city.

Look later in the month and sketch its positions

a day or two apart-- to see it move.

Finally, celebrate International Observe the Moon Night

on October 28

Correct Use of CAN and COULD | What's the Difference? | Modal Verbs in English Grammar - Duration: 6:24.

Hello there.

You know, I get this question all the time – both from my students in my classes and

on YouTube – what is the difference between 'can' and 'could'?

Well, in this lesson, I will teach you the three main differences between these modal

verbs and I'll show you how to use them correctly without making mistakes.

As always, there is a quiz at the end of the video to test your understanding.

The very first thing you should know is the basic use of 'can'.

This verb is used to show ability.

Here are some examples: I can play the guitar.

He can lift heavy weights.

She can beat anyone at chess!

So, all of these express ability.

What about what 'could' then?

Well, 'could' is just the past tense of can.

I can say: I could play the guitar when I was in school.

That means, I had the ability in the past, but now I can't play the guitar because

it's been a long time and I'm out of practice.

Here a couple more examples: He could lift heavy weights until he had the accident.

She could beat anyone at chess in her prime!

'In her prime' means in her best years.

Maybe when she was younger and was playing competitively.

So in these sentences – 'can' shows present ability, and 'could' shows past

ability.

This is the first difference between the two words.

The second difference is when we want to talk about possibility.

To talk about what is possible, we normally use 'could' and not 'can'.

Now, imagine that you and me, we're both waiting for a train at a train station.

It's time for the train to arrive but we don't see it.

So I might say: Hmm, the train could be late.

So I'm making a guess about the current (or the present) situation, saying what is

possible.

Here's another one: If you don't study, you could fail the exam.

Are you sure to fail the exam?

No.

You could pass.

But I'm saying that it's possible that if you don't study, you'll fail.

Notice that this sentence talks about future possibility.

Ah, but I have a question – we just talked about present and future possibility.

Can we talk about past possibility?

Yes, we can.

Here's an example: Robert could have gotten the job if he had gone to the interview.

So what do we understand from that?

Well, there was a job interview.

It was possible for Robert to go to the interview and get the job.

But he didn't go.

So he didn't get the job.

Now, as I said before, we use 'could' in all these sentences to talk about what's

possible in the past, present, and future, but there is one situation where you can use

'can' and that is when you want to talk about general possibility.

For example: You can catch a cold if you go out in the rain.

Traveling across Europe can be quite expensive.

You can see that these are just general statements about what is possible in the world.

In this case, it's OK to use 'can', but this use is less common.

Normally, when we talk about possibility in our lives we use 'could'.

Remember that.

Alright, let's now move on to the final use of 'can' and 'could', and this

is in polite expressions when we talk to people.

There are four situations you need to know about.

The first is making suggestions.

For this purpose, we use 'could'.

Here are some examples: We could try that new Italian restaurant tonight.

You could ask your sister to lend you some money.

In the first sentence, I'm making a suggestion about where we can have dinner.

In the second, I'm suggesting that if you need money, why don't you ask your sister?

Using 'could' just makes it very polite.

The second situation is making requests.

Here, both 'can' and 'could' are possible: Can you pass me the salt?

Could you pass me the salt, please?

Or on the phone: Can I speak to Rahul?

Could I speak to Rahul, please?

Did you notice that I said 'please' at the end of the sentences with 'could'?

That's because 'could' is more polite than 'can'.

So if you are in a formal situation, like if you're talking to your boss or other

superior and you want to be very polite, use 'could'.

If you're with friends or family, then 'can' is fine.

Our next function is making offers: Can I get you something to drink?

Could I get you something to drink, sir?

Can I help you with that?

Could I help you with that, madam?

Again, notice the extra politeness with 'could'.

Finally, the last conversational situation is when we want to ask for permission.

Here are some sentences: Can I borrow your pen?

Could I borrow your pen, please?

Can I take the day off tomorrow?

Could I take the day off tomorrow?

If you're very friendly with your boss at work, you would use 'can', but if your

boss is very strict, then you would use 'could'.

OK, if you're ready, it's now time for the quiz to see if you can use 'can' and

'could' correctly.

On the screen, there are eight sentences.

In each one, I want you to fill in the gap with 'can' or 'could'.

Stop the video, think about your answers, then play the video again and check.

OK, here are the answers.

How many did you get right?
