Auto news on Youtube Sep 30 2017

Hey everyone this is Viren and welcome back to another interview series video

at Aasaanjobs. In the last video we discussed a common interview question

"Why should we hire you". In case you missed it the link is in the description

Do click it and watch the video again. In this video we are going to talk about

another question "What are your strengths and weaknesses" and this is a tricky one

so let's get started!! Let us begin by first understanding why the recruiter

has asked you this question and there are mainly two reasons. The first one is

to understand if you are even aware about your strengths and weaknesses

because let's face it most of us have never taken all the time to understand

what our strengths are and what our weaknesses are. The second reason is that

in case you are hired the recruiter needs to know what your strengths are so

that they can play it to their advantage and they also need to know what your

weaknesses are so that they can help you grow. Let us begin by first discussing

strengths and before we do that let's get something off the table immediately.

In any interview situation when you've been asked about your strengths unless

you're a fresher you will never come up with answers like "my strengths are that

I'm a team player and enthusiastic I am motivated" and any of that because

frankly that won't work with any recruiter. What you actually need to be

doing is the following, STEP 1: Go through the Job Description, list down all the

strengths that you think the recruiters are looking for. STEP 2: is make a list of

your strengths and see how all of those strengths will actually be able to help you

in this job. Now a good example of this would be if you were applying for the

role of content marketing at a company and you were a good writer you need to

tell the recruiter about that. That becomes your strengths. Maybe you have

some experience with writing before or you might be running your own blog. Do

mention all of that. Just remember that when asked about your strengths you need

to talk about things that the company can use immediately or in the future

while your career is progressing. Now let's talk about weaknesses. What a lot

of people do in their interviews is they try to somehow disguise strengths as a

weakness. A very common example of this is saying something like I tend to take

too much work on myself and in the process I lose my work

life balance. Although this might come off as a weakness but what you're really trying

to say is that you are a really hardworking person who does not care

about time and keeps working on and on and it is very easy for recruiters to

spot this answer and they know that it was a well-prepared answer but frankly

you're not getting any points for it. Another thing to keep in mind is that

whatever you say your weaknesses are should not be something that is required

from you and this new job role immediately. For example you can say

something like I am NOT good at building teams especially if you are applying for

a mid-level role that does not really require you to build teams so it becomes

an acceptable weakness. You can also say something like "In order to focus on the

quality of my work I tend to miss out on the deadlines". Now what you need to keep

in mind here is that say if you're applying for a marketing role which

requires you to have better quality than meeting your deadlines, it's an

acceptable weakness but again if you are applying for an Operations role where

your KRAs are more revolving around meeting deadlines then you cannot say

that that is one of your weaknesses. So keep this in mind what you can do is

have a rule of thumb that whatever you say your weaknesses are should not be

something that is required now but can be required from you say five years down

your career line. And with that we've come to the end of this video I now hope

you know how to tackle this question in any interview scenario. We've also worked

on a lot of other interview questions. The links to all those videos are in the

description below. Do check them out for your interview preparation. If we added

value to you in this video, do hit the like button, comment and let us know and

please do subscribe to our channel as we will be making more such videos to help you

crack your interview. Thank you!!

have an easy fast [ what time is yom kippur 2017 [ what time yom kippur 2017 ] - Duration: 3:53.

Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, begins at sundown on September 29.

Those that observe the "day of atonement" will fast for 25 hours, until sundown on September 30 this year.

Reflection is a key theme during the Jewish High Holidays — which take place for 10 days between Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year which began at sunset on September 20, and Yom Kippur.

Whether you're Jewish or not, reflecting on the past year and looking ahead at the one to come is a valuable exercise — one that's even easier with an increasingly popular website: 10Q.

Every fall, beginning on Rosh Hashanah, 10Q participants are emailed a question a day for 10 days, and answers are recorded in the site's "vault."

The following year, your responses are emailed back to you, so you can reflect on how your year played out. Then, the process begins again. Think of it as one of those school assignments where you had to write a letter to your future self, and your teacher mailed it to you a year later.

It's not too late to participate this year, but you have to finish all 10 questions — and officially submit them to the "10Q vault" — within 72 hours of nightfall on September 30, when Yom Kippur ends this year. At that point, the vault closes, and your answers are stored and saved until next year.

The 10 questions (plus one bonus question) cover a variety of topics. You'll be asked to describe a significant experience you've had in the past year, and if there's something you wish you had done differently. You'll also be asked to choose one thing you'd like to achieve by this time next year, and how you'd like to improve your life over the coming months.

Your answers can be short or long, and you can skip questions that don't resonate with you. If you miss a day, you can catch up whenever you have time. Everything you write is private, unless you choose to share it, and subject to the highest industry standard encryption, according to the site.

This year marks my eighth year using 10Q as a tool for self-reflection and goal-tracking. As a financial planner in New York, it's a habit I've seen work with my clients as well.

adventures with abby : ASBURY PARK, NJ VLOG + WHAT I EAT IN A DAY AS A VEGAN #3 - Duration: 9:28.

Hello, guys!

Today I will be doing a 2nd vlog.

I haven't done a vlog since June, so for this one, I'm going to be going to Asbury Park, NJ.

Today's going to be real hot, like, in the upper 80s.

So I'm wearing jeans.

And I don't care!

Um...

I'm also doing a What I Eat In A Day As A Vegan #3 for this video too.

That way, I'm going to be out most of the time and you'll be able to see what I'm doing.

Tonight, I will be going to see a concert, which is cool.

And...

maybe I'll get that on camera.

I have no idea what the band's name is called.

So I'll have to ask my parents for that.

And...

that's pretty much it.

As you can see, I already packed up my...bag...already.

That way I'm ready to go.

I haven't been to the beach in a long time.

And I've been craving for it!

Since school started.

To be honest, school already sucks.

I don't like it.

I'm looking forward to it!

After we walked on the boardwalk,

I got very hot.

And now, we're just chilling out in our hotel room 'til the concert starts.

Um, to kill time, I'm going to do my homework.

That way I don't have to do it tomorrow, which is Sunday.

What is the Eurovision Song Contest? - Duration: 8:30.

Sorry about the long hiatus, but you probably don't care anyway.

I wanted to make it back with something big, something that you would enjoy.

That's why I decided to make this video.

If you didn't know, I'm a big fan of AlternateHistoryHub and follow them on a regular basis.

I even made a preview video for an episode that never came out,

and it still holds the record as the most watched video on my channel.

Seriously, a forty-second video beat out all of my Let's Plays,

all of my reviews, and every other zany adventure I had planned.

Hopefully, this video will change that.

In honor of AlternateHistoryHub,

I'd like to make my own video using a similar art style to what is used, or at least was used,

in AlternateHistoryHub, to cover one of my favorite topics:

the Eurovision Song Contest.

If you never heard of it, that's okay. It's not an American thing, anyway.

However, since it usually reaches 200 million views,

it merits a bit of explanation.

The short version is each country sends in a song and a performer to perform it,

and competes against each other for points.

The winner walks away with a big shiny trophy

and the honor of hosting the event in his or her home country.

Simple enough, right? Well, here's the longer version.

The contest was launched in 1956,

in an effort to bring the war-battered people of Europe together around a single event,

brought to you by the newly-launched Eurovision Network.

This network would allow events to be broadcast across all of Europe,

or at the very least, Western Europe.

The contest was very different from today:

Seven countries each sent in two singers who would perform original songs

in their home languages, and juries determined the winner.

The event was hosted in Lugano, Switzerland,

and ironically was also won by Switzerland.

Germany would host the next contest,

but only because the original intent was to rotate the host.

With the number of countries competing even in 1957, which was ten, by the way,

that would be a bit impractical,

So the next time, it would go to the winner of the last contest,

which made the Netherlands, the winner of 1957,

the host of 1958.

After 1957, a rule change came in that forced people

to make their songs at most three minutes long.

Italy scoffed at the original "recommended" three-and-a-half-minute song requirement,

so in 1957 Italy sent in a song that was over five minutes long.

With all the rule changes in the contest,

the length of songs in the modern contest still stand at three minutes max.

The contest changed a lot since 1956. For example,

there was no rule in the early days governing the use of languages in the contest.

It was just assumed that people would stick to their native languages...

until 1965, when Sweden sang in English.

From then on a rule had to be introduced

to force people to sing using only the languages that their countries used.

Socialism at work, ladies and gentlemen.

The rule was lifted in 1973 and Sweden won with ABBA in 1974.

(Remember those guys? They did "Dancing Queen"?)

However, the quality of the songs was put on the back burner because of the popularity of English,

so the language rule was reinstated for the 1977 contest.

However, that wouldn't last.

In the 1990s, Ireland won four times in five contests and the United Kingdom won one too.

Notably, they both used English.

The other winners of the decade relied less on language and more on melody,

to the point where Norway won in 1995 with what was mostly a violin solo....

apparently. (I can't find any video of the live performance.)

The language rule was removed for the 1999 contest,

and over half of the acts performing in Jerusalem sang in English.

This time, it stayed removed, and since then,

only the winners of 2007 and 2017 used no English in their winning songs.

Another thing that changed since then is the number of countries that competed.

Seven countries competed in 1956, ten in 1957, ten in 1958, and then it gradually grew.

Many countries entered the contest by the 1960s, bumping up the total to 18 in 1965.

A twenty country contest was held in 1978 and 22 in 1987.

From there, we reach an impasse,

because the European Broadcasting Union did not want to grow the contest any further

for fear that contest eats up too much primetime and messes with people's sleep.

Malta, of course, was upset about this in 1990, when they weren't allowed in,

and even more upset in 1992 when the Netherlands brought participation up once more.

Favoritism, perhaps?

But that was nothing compared to 1993.

Because of the fall of the Iron Curtain, more countries wanted to compete than ever,

so the EBU decided to invite the best three of a qualifier round to join the other 22 contestants.

You guessed it, that makes 25.

What about the other countries? Let them come next year.

We'll kick out the countries that did the worst to make room for them.

And so it was in 1994 that Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, and Slovakia,

entered for the first time at the expense of Belgium, Denmark, Israel, Italy, Slovenia, Turkey, and Luxembourg,

and as for the last of the latter, they have never returned since.

In 1996, the EBU tried something.

Instead of relegating the bad songs every other year,

why not listen to each song and select the best to compete that year?

Sounds good, and 29 countries sent out their entries.

The problem, is six songs had to go, and Germany was one of them.

Not only was Germany's otherwise flawless attendance record tainted,

but with no Germany, EBU funding was less secure,

so in 2000, to fix this problem, four countries --

Germany, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom --

were allowed to automatically stay in the contest without risk of relegation.

In 2003, if there weren't already too many countries applying for the contest,

four more who have never played before wanted in.

The EBU was supposed to relegate 10 countries from 2002 and find places for all the new countries,

but only Ukraine got to sit in for the first time.

Turns out that the EBU only got around to relegating 5.

That means 16th-placed Turkey could compete and win in 2003.

Also, without relegating more countries, the EBU had to make a schedule with 26 countries.

So guess what happened for the 2004 contest?

In the 2004 contest, the EBU got rid of the relegation system and created a semifinal.

Any country that wasn't part of the Big Four or otherwise placed Top 10 the previous year

had to go through the semi-final. The Top 10 of the semi-final joins the others in the final,

and for 2004, it worked wonders.

36 countries played in total, so the deficit in seats was definitely covered.

The contest suddenly could accommodate up to 40 countries.

Now, there's no way we would have that many, right?

But in 2007, 28 countries competed in the semi-final.

That still holds the record for most songs performed in a show.

But how about the grand total of 2007?

Get this: 42 countries participated.

What?

Also, Andorra didn't qualify for the final. They still haven't.

But things changed for 2008. Now there are two semifinals,

and if you're not the host nor a member of the Big Four (or Big Five when Italy plays),

you have to go through the semi-finals.

The system is still in place, and it tends to work...

most of the time.

I could talk about the other ways the contest had changed,

like the switch from orchestra to backing tracks for each song,

or the transition from having one person on stage to six,

but I feel understanding the voting system will help the most.

Voting systems pre-1975 varied from contest to contest,

from having each jury member vote once,

to each jury giving ten points to any variety of songs they want,

to ranking each song out of ten.

But in 1975, that changed.

A new system allowed each country to give points to their 10 favorite songs.

One point went to 10th place, two to ninth place, three to eighth place,

and so on until eight points were given to third place, ten to second place,

and the ever-popular twelve points were given to their favorite song.

Rinse and repeat for every country.

Even that history has its own intricacies, but all you need to know is this:

First juries from each country send in their votes.

The public has their own set of votes, separate from the jury since 2016.

The points given to each country are then counted up and given from lowest score to highest score.

The one with the highest overall score wins.

Getting zero points however, is a huge dishonor in the contest.

It's not likely to happen with this system, though.

And there you have it.

I could explain a bit more about the contest, a bit more about the rules, or notable moments,

but I'll leave that up to you to decide if I should make another video.

For now, this covers a good chunk of what you need to know about the contest.

My next video hopefully will cover another of my interests, and hopefully will follow the same style.

Thanks to the solid few who subscribed to me and to those who liked this video,

and I'll see you next time.

What CBOs Need to Know to Be Successful in VBP - Duration: 4:22.

Welcome.

My name is Jason Helgerson, I'm the New York State Medicaid Director, and I'm here

to present the latest in our series of New York State Whiteboard Presentations.

Today's important topic: Community Based Organizations and Value Based Payment.

Really important topic, lot of interest out there amongst community based organizations

to become part of our efforts to improve the health of the population in New York State

through the move to Value Based Payment.

And a lot of unique opportunities, things that are unique to New York, not being tried

anywhere else in the country, to really actually integrate the CBO's in a very formalized

way into our value based payment efforts.

So we'll start at the top.

Understand if your organization is a tier one, tier two, or tier three CBO.

Lots of organizations see themselves as CBO's, but when we launch this initiative we wanted

to sort of differentiate between those that were providers of Medicaid services, that's

who you'll see at the top, a higher tier, from those who really have mostly been local

government funded or run on a philanthropy and haven't been billing Medicaid services.

That's where you find your Tier 1 CBO's.

Important to know this because within the roadmap for Value Based Payment there is an

explicit requirement that the more advanced value based payment contractors must contract

with a tier one CBO, use that tier one CBO hopefully to address social determinants of

health.

It's a way for us to really begin to formalize the relationship for what we think are some

very culturally competent, linguistically competent organizations.

It can really help us address those social determinant of health issues.

So it's really important for you to know, "what type of CBO are you?".

Next up is, "know your value proposition".

Understand the services you provide, know the impact.

Be able to take that information to either a provider or a health plan, to really make

the case as to why you could be a key part of their success in lowering costs and improving

outcomes.

It's really important for you to develop that value proposition.

Which then relates to the next question.

So what should we as val, er, what should we as community based organizations be doing,

ah, in terms of how they build off what they've done and hopefully the successes of the past.

We think the best place to start is within your existing business model.

The services that you provided, look to expand them, or to adapt them, or modify them, um,

so that they can actually help the contractor, help the plan achieve their goals in terms

of improved health outcomes.

We don't think it makes sense for you to try a whole new business line, something you've

never done before.

Maybe in the future, when there is new opportunities, and you've had some success and existing

relationships become stronger.

Then there will be an opportunity to sort of challenge the business model, but we think

it makes sense to start with what you have historically done best.

Next, apply for innovation funds.

There is a unique opportunity that many PPS's are now offering which is funds that go out

to organizations including CBO's either on their own or in partnership with others,

to really work to improve... help the PPS's be successful.

Great opportunity, if you haven't yet, to develop that value proposition.

To really begin to test some of the concepts, some of the programs, that you've been operating.

See how they work in ways that are consistent with the PPS goals, which are also the same

goals that we have in value based payments.

So great funding opportunity there.

And then lastly, network.

We really think that it's important for community based organizations to build relationships

with health care providers in their community.

A great place to start is within the PPS itself.

If you're attending a pack meeting or you're going out and participating in one of the

projects that the PPS is running and it's being done in concert with providers, it's

really a great opportunity to build relationships with those organizations because we think

those are the relationships you could leverage, that will turn into contracts at some point,

where you could really assist them in being successful in Value Based Payment.

So that's it.

Five points.

Opportunities are out there for CBO's, we're very excited, we think it's a key, unique

component of Value Based Payment in New York State and we look forward to future whiteboards

on this topic, and on other topics, in the future.

Thank you very much.

THE BENEFITS OF ASHWAGANDHA & WHAT CAN IT CAN DO TO YOUR BODY - Duration: 7:34.

THE BENEFITS OF ASHWAGANDHA & WHAT CAN IT CAN DO TO YOUR BODY

I was recently introduced to the amazing benefits of ashwagandha root, also sometimes referred

to as Indian Ginseng, and since then, have spent considerable time researching the health

benefits of this herb.

These days we often hear about superfoods or miracle foods and herbs, and it seems

every supplement claims to be the best one.

But can they all be the best?

Ashawagandha just might be!

This herb can treat a wide array of ailments and assist our bodies with many vital functions.

This herb is an adaptogen, which means that it helps your body tackle stress by lowering

cortisol levels, managing fatigue and mental fog, and improving concentration.

These are all things that I have been struggling with, and inevitably what led me to try this

herb in the first place.

Once I started taking it, I immediately noticed a difference in how my body was handling stress.

Really, there are too many benefits of ashwagandha to name, so here are just a few of the many

it offers, backed by science.

1.

It Is an Ancient Medicinal Herb

Ashwagandha is a very important herb in Ayurveda and has been used for over 3,000 years to

relieve stress, increase energy levels, and improve concentration.

2.

It Can Reduce Blood Sugar Levels

Ashwagandha has been shown to lower blood sugar levels in several studies.

A test tube study found that it increased insulin secretion and improved insulin sensitivity

in muscle cells.

Human studies have shown its ability to reduce blood sugar levels in both diabetics and healthy

individuals.

A small study conducted on just six people with type 2 diabetes and six with high cholesterol

had participants supplementing with ashwagandha for 30 days, and found it lowered fasting

blood sugar levels just as much as an oral diabetes medication.

3.

It Can Reduce Cortisol Levels (Stress Hormone)

Cortisol, otherwise known as the stress hormone, is released in response to stress and low

blood sugar.

For many people, cortisol levels become chronically elevated, which can lead to both high blood

sugar levels and increased fat storage in the abdomen.

Multiple studies have shown that ashwagandha can help to reduce cortisol levels.

In a controlled study conducted on chronically stressed adults, the group given ashwagandha

saw significantly greater reductions in cortisol levels than the control group.

The group taking the highest dose of the supplement had an average of a 30% reduction.

From my own experience, I have already noticed this effect, and have found that I no longer

get stressed as easily or for as long.

5.

It May Help Reduce Anxiety

Because ashwagandha is best known for its ability to combat stress and bring about a

calm, clear state of mind, it also can reduce anxiety levels as well.

One study, conducted over a 60 day period on 64 people with chronic stress, showed that

those taking ashwagandha reported an average of 69% reduction in anxiety and insomnia,

compared to only 11% in the placebo group.

And a six-week study showed that 88% of people who took ashwagandha reported a reduction

in their anxiety levels compared to 50% from those who took a placebo.

6.

It May Reduce Symptoms of Depression

More research needs to be done to provide a solid case for this claim, but preliminary

studies have shown promising results.

A controlled 60-day study conducted on adults reporting high levels of stress showed that

those who took 600 mg per day of ashwagandha reported an astounding 79% reduction in severe

depression.

The placebo group reported a 10% increase.

7.

It Can Boost Testosterone and Fertility in Men

One study conducted on 75 infertile men showed an increase of sperm count and mobility on

the group treated with ashwagandha.

Another study showed that the men who received ashawagandha for stress ended up experiencing

higher levels of antioxidants and better sperm quality.

After only three months of treatment, 14% of the mens partners had become pregnant.

8.

It Can Improve Memory and Brain Function

Some studies on animals suggest that ashwagandha may reduce memory and brain function issues

caused by a disease or injury.

This supplement promotes antioxidant activity and protects nerve cells from free radicals.

One study conducted on epileptic rats found a near complete reversal of spatial memory

impairment after being given ashwagandha.

They believe this was a result from a reduction in oxidative stress.

Ashwagandha has been used traditionally in Ayurvedic medicine to boost memory, though

more research needs to be done on humans to determine whether it does function in this

capacity.

In one controlled study, however, researchers gave healthy men a 500 mg supplement daily

and noticed significant improvements in their reaction time and task performance compared

to men who received only a placebo.

9.

Stimulates the Thyroid Gland

In cases of hypothyroidism, ashwagandha can be used to stimulate the thyroid gland.

One study determined that daily supplementation could increase the secretion of thyroid hormones.

10.

Promotes Muscle Growth

One study showed an increase of muscle mass and a decrease in fat after just 30 days of

taking between 750-1250 mg of ashwagandha.

Another study showed that those taking the herb had significantly greater gains in muscle

strength and size.

They also had more than double the reduction in body fat compared to the placebo group.

This study was relatively small, however, only conducted on 57 young males, so more

research needs to be done.

Conclusion

There are many potential benefits to gain from supplementing with ashwagandha.

To determine if its right for you, be sure to talk to your supplement expert at your

local health food store, or your ayurvedic medicine practitioner, to find out the dosage

best suited for you and your needs.

Much Love

BECAUSE WE'RE GOING TO BE

FREE FROM NOW ON.

>> PLUS, THREE ISRAELIS

MURDERED IN THE

PALESTINIAN ATTACK, AND

THE WIDOW WILL LIKELY GET

A PENSION.

AND PRAYERS AT THE WESTERN

WALL.

ALL OF THIS AND MORE ON

"JERUSALEM DATELINE."

HELLO, AND WELCOME TO THIS

EDITION OF "JERUSALEM

DATELINE."

I'M JULIE STAAL, FILLING

IN FOR CHRIS MITCHELL, WHO

IS ON ASSIGNMENT IN

KURDISTAN.

>>> THE KURDISH PEOPLE,

THE LARGEST ETHNIC GROUP

IN THE WORLD WITHOUT A

COUNTRY, TOOK A STEP

TOWARDS STATEHOOD WHEN THE

2% OF KURD92% OF KURDS VOTED IN

FAVOR OF INDEPENDENCE.

THE QUESTION REMAINS, WHAT

WILL HAPPEN IN THE MIDDLE

EAST AFTER THE REFERENDUM,

AND HOW THE TRUMP

ADMINISTRATION WILL

RESPOND.

>> Chris: AFTER THE

VOTE, KURDS TOOK TO THE

STREETS TO CELEBRATE THEIR

CLAIM TO A COUNTRY OF

THEIR OWN.

HOURS EARLIER, THEY TOOK

TO THE POLLS.

MANY CAME AND MADE IT A

FAMILY AFFAIR.

THESE KURDS ARE EXERCISING

THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE FOR

INDEPENDENCE FOR THE FIRST

TIME.

FOR MANY, IT IS ONE MORE

STEP AND A LONG HISTORY

TOWARDS A FREE AND

INDEPENDENT KURDISTAN.

EVEN THOUGH 14-YEAR-OLD

SELMA COLO COULDN'T VOTE, SHE

CAME WITH HER FAMILY AND

EXPRESSED THE HOPES OF THE

KURDISH PEOPLE.

>> IF YOU'RE KURDISH, IT

IS ESPECIALLY BECAUSE

YOU'RE GOING TO BE FREE

FROM NOW ON.

>> THIS IS A PEOPLE

ACHIEVING A DREAM THEY'VE

HAD FOR 100 YEARS.

>> Chris: THIS MAN

COMPARES THE KURDS OF

TODAY TO AMERICANS MORE

THAN 200 YEARS AGO.

>> THEY'RE NOT ASKING

ANYTHING FROM THE

AMERICANS, EXCEPT FOR THE

AMERICANS TO ACCEPT THAT

THE KURDS HAVE THE SAME

RIGHTS THAT THE AMERICANS

HAD IN 1776, ALTHOUGH THE

KURDISH COMPLAINTS ABOUT

IRAQ ARE MUCH BIGGER THAN

AMERICA'S COMPLAINTS.

>> Chris: THIS STATE

DEPARTMENT POSITION IS

BASED ON THE ONE-IRAQ

POLICY, WHICH WOULD KEEP

KURDISTAN UNDER THE

INFLUENCE OF THE

IRANIAN-BACKED GOVERNMENT

OF IRAN.

>> ONE, WE GIVE THEM TO

THE IRANIANS.

TWO, WE CLEA COMPLETE THE SHI'A

ARK THAT GOES AROUND IRAN

AND INTO LEBANON.

>> Chris: HE SAYS THIS

POLICY PUTS THE U.S. ON

THE WRONG SIDE.

>> TO INSIST ON THE UNITY

OF IRAQ UNDER A GOVERNMENT

IN BAGHDAD, THAT IS IRAN'S

CLOSEST ALLY IN THE WORLD,

THAT CREATED A MALITIA,

WHICH IS COMMANDED BY THE

HEAD OF THE IRANIAN

REVOLUTIONARY GUARDS, AND

WHICH IS ON KURDISTAN'S

BORDERS, AND INSTEAD OF

SIDING WITH THE KURDS, THE

TRUMP CITY IS SIDING WITH

SULEMON.

>> THE PLACE THAT HAS BEEN

PROTECTING IRAQ'S

CHRISTIANS, THE CHRISTIANS

OF THE MIDDLE EAST, IS

KURDISTAN.

>> Chris: THE KURDS FACE

HOSTILE NEIGHBORS, OPPOSED

TO THEIR INDEPENDENCE.

BUT THAT DOESN'T STOP

KURDS, LIKE SELMA, OF

DREAMING FOR A FREE PLACE.

>> IT WOULD A HAPPY AND

SPECIAL PLACE FOR KURDS TO

BE FREE.

>> Julie: AND NOW

JOINING US FROM IRBIL IS

CHRIS MITCHELL.

SHALOM, CHRIS.

WE SAW IN YOUR REPORT THAT

THE KURDS VOTED

OVERWHELMING FOR

INDEPENDENCE, BUT WHAT

WILL HAPPEN NOW?

>> Chris: IT IS GREAT TO

BE WITH YOU FROM IRBIL,

THE CAPITAL OF KURDISTAN.

AND THE QUESTION IS WHAT

IS GOING TO HAPPEN AFTER

THE SUCCESSFUL REFERENDUM.

MANY PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT

TWO COUNTRIES.

IRAN HAS BEEN TRYING TO

FILL THE VACUUM HERE IN

KURDISTAN, AND THAT IS AN

OMINOUS DEVELOPMENT FOR

THE KURDS AND THE

CHRISTIANS IN THE AREA.

THE OTHER COUNTRY THAT IS

VERY PIVOTAL IS THE UNITED

STATES.

I'VE BEEN HEARING THAT IF

THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION

CAME OUT IN SUPPORT OF A

STRONG, FREE, AND

INDEPENDENT KURDISTAN,

THEY WOULD GET THEIR

INDEPENDENCE.

YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT

AFTER WORLD WAR I, THERE

WAS A PROMISE BY THE

NATIONS THEY COULD HAVE AN

INDEPENDENT STATE, AND

THAT NEVER MATERIALIZED.

AND YOU SHOULD REMEMBER

AFTER ISIS CAME IN IN

2014, IT WAS THE KURDS

THAT TOOK OVER THOUSANDS

OF REFUGEES, EVEN WHILE

THEY WERE UNDER SIEGE.

>> Julie: CHRIS, WHAT IS

THE RELATIONSHIP OF ISRAEL

TO THE KURDS?

>> Chris: IT WAS ISRAELI

PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN

NETANYAHU, WHO IS THE ONLY

LEADER IN THE FREE WORLD,

TO ACTUALLY COME OUT AND

SUPPORT KURDISH

INDEPENDENCE.

THE UNITED STATES OPPOSED

IT, IRAN, TURKEY, AND THE

BAGHDAD GOVERNMENT, THEY

ALL OPPOSED IT, BUT ISRAEL

STOOD BEHIND THE KURDS.

AND THERE IS AN

INTERESTING.

RELATIONSHIP

BECAUSE MANY JEWS IN

KURDISTAN, WHEN THEY WERE

UNDER PERSECUTION -- IT

WAS THE KURDS WHO HELPED

THEM GET BACK THE JEWS.

THERE IS A VERY CLOSE

AFFINITY BETWEEN ISRAEL

AND THE KURDISH PEOPLE.

SOMETIMES THAT

RELATIONSHIP IS OVERT,

LIKE WHEN PRIME MINISTER

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU CAME

OUT IN SUPPORT.

BUT MANY TIMES IT IS

COVERT.

THERE HAS BEEN REPORTS OF

THE ISRAELI SECURITY

SATISFIES HAVING

RELATIONSHIP HERE AND

SUPPORTING THE KURDS.

MANY TIMES THAT IS NOT

REPORTED ON, BUT THERE IS

A STRONG RELATIONSHIP

BETWEEN ISRAEL AND THE

KURDISH PEOPLE.

>> Julie: WE SAW IN

REPORTS THAT YOU VISITED A

COUPLE OF CHURCHES.

WHAT IS THE PLIGHT OR THE

SITUATION OF THE

CHRISTIANS IN THE AREA?

>> Chris: JULIE, EVER

SINCE WE REPORTED HERE IN

2014, IT HAS BEEN A

DESPERATE SITUATION HERE

FOR CHRISTIANS.

IN 2014, THEY WERE FLEEING

FOR THEIR LIVES.

NOW MANY OF THEM ARE STILL

DISPLACED.

WE WERE IN A CHURCH

SERVICE JUST THE OTHER

NIGHT WHERE HUNDREDS OF

CHRISTIANS HAVE GATHERED,

AND THEY'RE STILL IN A

REFUGEE CAMP THREE YEARS

AFTER THEY FLED THEIR

HOMES.

SOME OF THEM WOULD LIKE TO

GO BACK TO IRBIL AND

QARAQOSH, BUT THERE HOMES

HAVE BEEN DESTROYED.

THEY WOULD LIKE TO GO TO

OTHER COUNTRIES, BUT THAT

MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE.

IT IS A VERY IMPORTANT

TIME TO BE SUPPORTING THE

CHRISTIANS HERE BY PRAYER,

AND ALSO BY ACTION.

THERE IS SOME LEGISLATION

IN THE UNITED NATIONS'

CONGRESS THAT WOULD TRY TO

PROVIDE A SAFE ZONE FOR

CHRISTIANS IN THE NE NINEVEH

PLAIN.

CERTAINLY IT IS STILL A

DESPERATE TIME FOR OUR

BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN

CHRIST HERE IN THIS AREA.

>> Julie: HOW IMPORTANT

ARE OUR PRAYERS?

AND WHAT SHOULD WE BE

PRAYING FOR IN THE REGION?

>> Chris: I WOULD SAY

THAT PRAYER IS ONE OF THE

MOST IMPORTANT THINGS YOU

CAN DO FOR WHAT IS

HAPPENING HERE.

NOT ONLY FOR OUR BROTHERS

AND SISTERS -- AND THAT'S

CERTAINLY THAT WE NEED TO

DO, TO PRAY FOR THEIR

PROTECTION, TO PRAY THEY

COULD HAVE A NEW LIFE,

WHETHER HERE IN THEIR

VILLAGES, LIKE IN MOSUL OR

QARAQOSH, AND ALSO THE

ACTION THAT CAN BE DONE ON

THEIR BEHALF.

AND ALSO PRAYER FOR THE

GEOPOLITICS IN THE REGION.

WE TALKED TO A NORWEGIAN

PASTOR THAT CITED ACTS 17,

WHERE GOD SOMETIMES

REDRAWS BORDERS, AND THE

REASON FOR THAT IS SO MEN

CAN SEEK HIM.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BE

PRAYING NOT ONLY FOR

INDIVIDUALS, FOR THE

WORKERS THAT ARE DOING --

SPREADING THE GOSPEL HERE,

FOR THE PRIESTS AND THE

OTHER WORKERS, BUT ALSO

FOR THE GEOPOLITICS, THAT

GOD WOULD HAVE HIS WAY IN

PURPOSES HERE IN THIS

LAND.

>> Julie: THANK YOU,

CHRIS, FOR YOUR EXCELLENT

REPORTING FROM KURDISTAN.

BE SAFE.

>>> UP NEXT, PALESTINIANS PALESTINIANS

AND INTERPOL, AND PAY TO

PLAY, A TERRORIST KILLS

THREE ISRAELI FAMILIES,

AND HIS FAMILY GETS A

>> Julie: THE UNITED

NATIONS REJECTED WARNINGS

FROM THE U.S. AND ISRAEL

AND VOTED TO INCLUDE THE

PALESTINIANS IN INTERPOL,

THE INTERNATIONAL POLICE

AGENCY.

THE VOTE CAME AT A U.N.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING

IN BEIJING, AND PACKED 75

TO 24, WITH 34 EXTENSIONS.

BOTH WASHINGTON AND

JERUSALEM ARE CONCERNED

THAT THE MOVE COULD PUT

KEY INTELLIGENCE IN THE

WRONG HANDS, AND THAT THE

PALESTINIANS COULD USE

INTERPOL TO PURSUE

CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST

ISRAELIS.

THE U.S. HAS ALSO ARGUED

THAT PALESTINE SHOULDN'T

BE IN INTERPOL BECAUSE IT

IS NOT A STATE.

ONE ISRAELI ACADEMIC

TWEETED THAT ADMITTING

PALESTINE TO INTERPOL IS

LIKE ADMITTING AL CAPONE

TO THE CHICAGO POLICE.

>>> JUST ONE DAY BEFORE

THE INTERPOL DECISION, A

PALESTINIAN TERRORIST

KILLED THREE ISRAELIS AND

WOUNDED A FOURTH.

I TALKED WITH RESIDENTS AT

THE SCENE OF THE ATTACK,

THE SECURITY FENCE OF THE

JEWISH COMMUNITY OF

HARADAR OUTSIDE OF

JERUSALEM.

HERE IS WHAT THEY TOLD ME.

>> ABOUT 7:00 I HEARD A

SERIES OF GUNSHOTS AND

THEN I HEARD AMBULANCES

AND HELICOPTERS, SO I KNEW

SOMETHING WAS UP.

>> Julie: THAT SOMETHING

WAS 37-YEAR-OLD IMI IMIR IMIRAKMUD.

>> HE HAD A WORK PERMIT,

APPROACHED THE SECURITY

GUARD, WORKED ON HIS OWN,

OPENED FIRE, AND KILLED

THOSE THREE INDIVIDUALS.

>> Julie: BEHIND ME IS

THE SECURITY GATE, AND

BEYOND THAT, THE ARAB

VILLAGE OF STATE ZURICK.

EVERY DAY UP TO 300 TO 400

PALESTINIANS CROSS THIS

STATE IN INTO HARADAR TO

WORK IN AREAS OVER HERE.

>> HE KNEW THE AREA VERY

WELL HERE.

IF HE MADE HIS WAY INSIDE

THE COMMUNITY, HE COULD

HAVE REACHED A SCHOOL,

WHICH IS 400 METRES FROM

WHERE WE ARE, BUT OUR

BORDER GUARDS PREVENTED

THAT TERRORIST FROM MAKING

HIS WAY INTO THE

COMMUNITY.

>> Julie: JEWISH ISRAELI

RESIDENTS FROM HARADAR

WERE SHOCKED.

>> WHEN YOU HAVE AN

11-YEAR-OLD SON CALLING

YOU IN THE MORNING AND

TELLING YOU, MOM, THERE IS

AN ATTACKER IN HARADAR --

IT IS THE LIFE LOSS.

>> THE RELATIONS WITH THE

PEOPLE HERE HAVE BEEN VERY

PEACEFUL.

A FEW HUNDRED WORK INSIDE

HARADAR EVERY DAY.

>> Julie: THIS RESIDENT,

STEVE LIEBOWITZ, SAID NOW

THINGS WILL HAVE TO

CHANGE.

>> I LIVED HERE FOR 17

YEARS, AND I DON'T

REMEMBER REALLY ANYTHING

THAT MADE ME FEEL UNEASY.

IT IS LIKE A PIECE OF LONG

ISLAND OUT HERE.

>> I THINK WE'RE GOING TO

HAVE TO WAKE UP TO A NEW

REALITY.

WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BE

AWARE THAT SECURITY IS AN

ISSUE FOR US.

>> Julie: THIS RESIDENT

AND COUNCIL MEMBER SAID

THE PROBLEM IS THEY DON'T

KNOW WHO TO TRUST.

>> WE'RE TRYING TO BE VERY

BRAVE, TO BRING THEM HERE.

BUT YOU SEE WHAT THEY'RE

DOING?

THEY BETRAY US.

IT IS A MATTER OF TIME

UNTIL YOU HAVE THE KNIFE

IN YOUR BACK.

WE KNOW IT.

UNFORTUNATELY.

AND IT IS NOT ALL OF THEM.

I HAD ONE PERSON WORKING

AND MY HOUSE FOR 12 YEARS.

>> Julie: WITHIN HOURS,

PALESTINIAN LABORERS WHO

WERE WORKING IN HARADAR,

WERE ESCORTED OUT OF THE

COMMUNITY.

IN ADDITION TO THE TERROR

VICTIMS AND THEIR

FAMILIES, THEY SAID IT IS

THE PALESTINIANS

THEMSELVES WHO WILL SUFFER

THE MOST.

>> THEY'VE BEEN WORKING

INSIDE OUR COMMUNITY,

MAKING A GOOD LIVING, AND

HAVING GOOD RELATIONS WITH

THE PEOPLE OF HARADAR FOR

THE LAST 30 YEARS.

AND THIS IS THE KIND OF

INCIDENT THAT WILL CUT

THEM OFF FROM THEIR DAILY

BREAD.

>> Julie: AS WE HEARD,

THE TERROR ATTACK IS BOUND

TO HAVE A NEGATIVE IMPACT

ON PALESTINIAN WORKERS.

SO WHAT MOTIVATED THE

ATTACKER?

THEY CALL IT "PAY FOR

SLAY."

HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO

HARADAR, WHERE HE WORKED.

HE OPENED FIRE ON SECURITY

PERSONNEL AT THE CROSSING

GATE, KILLING THREE

ISRAELIS AND CRITICALLY

WOUNDING A FOURTH.

HARADAR RESIDENTS WERE

SHOCKED.

>> THEY HAVE ALL OF THE

RIGHTS, LIKE AN ISRAELI,

AND THEY BE BETRAYED US BIG

TIME.

>> Julie: ISRAELI PRIME

MINISTER BENJAMIN

NETANYAHU SAYS PALESTINIAN

INCITEMENT IN THE MEDIA,

SCHOOL BOOKS, AND SOCIETY

ARE TO BLAME.

FOLLOWING THE ATTACK,

NETANYAHU CALLED ON THE

PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY

PRESIDENT MAHMOUD ABBAS TO

CONDEMN THE ATTACKS.

INSTEAD, ABBAS AS FATAH

ORGANIZATION GLORIFIED THE

TERRORIST AND SAID THE

MORNING WAS SCENTED WITH

THE FRAGRANCE OF MARTYRS.

>> THE AUTHORITY TO FATAH

IS TELLING HIS PEOPLE THAT

WHAT WAS DONE WAS A

RELIGIOUSLY POSITIVE ACT,

KILLING ISRAELIS IS A

RELIGIOUSLY POSITIVE ACT.

AND THIS, OF COURSE, IS

THE WORST MESSAGE YOU CAN

GIVE IN A RELIGIOUS

SOCIETY LIKE THE

PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY.

>> Julie: THIS MAN SAYS

PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY

BLAME DOESN'T STOP THERE.

>> THE FIRST THING THAT

HAPPENS IS THE FAMILY

RECEIVES HONOR.

AND THIS IS CRITICAL.

THE HONOR THAT THE FAMILY

RECEIVES, EVERY POTENTIAL

TERRORIST SEES THIS AS

WELL.

>> Julie: THAT HONOR

INCLUDES PUBLIC PRAISE,

AND SOMETIMES EVEN NAMING

SCHOOLS, PUBLIC SQUARES,

AND SPORTING EVENTS AFTER

TERRORISTS.

>> AND THE SECOND THING

THAT HAPPENS IS FINANCIAL

REWARD.

IN THIS CASE, THE WIFE AND

CHILDREN OF THE TERRORIST

WHO MURDERED YESTERDAY

WILL BE RECEIVING 2,600

SHEKELS, ABOUT $800 A

MONTH FOR LIFE.

>> Julie: MARCUS SAID

ISRAEL COULD CRACK DOWN ON

ENTIRE VILLAGES, REVOKING

WORK PERMITS INTO ISRAEL.

THAT WOULD INCREASE PEER

PRESSURE NOT TO CARRY OUT

ATTACKS.

BUT THE WEST COULD ALSO

PLAY A ROLE, HE SAID.

>> THE ONLY WAY THIS WILL

STOP IS IF THE LEADERSHIP

OF THE PALESTINIAN

AUTHORITY IS FORCED BY THE

INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO

COMPLETELY CHANGE THE

MESSAGING.

THE INTERNATIONAL

COMMUNITY CAN FORCE THEM.

THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY

IS SO DEPENDENT ON FOREIGN

AID.

THE UNITED STATES GIVES

THEM FOREIGN AID, THE

EUROPEAN UNION GIVES THEM

FOREIGN AID -- THEY HAVE

THE POWER TO STOP THIS.

>> Julie: MEANWHILE, THE

THREE MEN WHO WERE KILLED,

INCLUDING AN ISRAELI ARAB,

ARE BEING HAILED AS THE

REAL HEROS.

THEY STOPPED THE TERRORIST

FROM ENTERING HARADAR AND

KILLING CIVILIANS.

>>> COMING UP...A SPECIAL

PRAYER FOR YOM KIPPUR.

>> Julie: JEWS WORLDWIDE

MARK YOM KIPPUR THE MOST

SOLEMN DAY OF THE JEWISH

YEAR.

THEY OBSERVE THIS DAY WITH

FASTING AND SPECIAL

PRAYER.

CHRIS MITCHELL EXAMINES

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS

PRAYER TO BOTH JEWS AND

CHRISTIANS.

>> Chris: IT'S CALLED

THE VADUI, A PRAYER OF

REPENTANCE AND A PLEA FOR

FORGIVENESS.

>> THE VADUI IS A CENTRAL

PRAYER OF CONFESSION, AND

FOR FORGIVENESS OF THE

JEWISH PEOPLE ON YOM

KIPPUR.

IT IS A PRAYER THAT THEY

PRAY, NOT ONLY ON BEHALF

OF THEMSELVES, BUT ON

BEHALF OF ALL OF THE

JEWISH PEOPLE AROUND THE

WORLD.

>> Chris: REVEREND DAVID

PELEGI SERVES IN THE HEART

OF JERUSALEM'S OLD CITY.

HE STUDIED THE JEWISH

ROOTS OF CHRISTIANITY FOR

NEARLY 30 YEARS.

HE SAYS THE VADUI

RECOGNIZES WHAT JEREMIAH

THE PROPHET WROTE, THAT

THE HEART IS DECEITFUL

ABOVE ALL THINGS, AND THAT

DEEDS NEED TO FOLLOW

REPENTANCE.

>> ONE THING WE LEARN FROM

THE JEWISH PEOPLE,

SOMETHING QUITE IMPORTANT,

ESPECIALLY ABOUT YOM

KIPPUR, IT IS NOT ENOUGH

TO SAY YOU'RE SORRY.

YOU HAVE TO CONFESS, SAY

YOU'RE SORRY, AND THEN AT

THE SAME TIME TAKE

PRACTICAL STEPS TO CHANGE

YOUR BEHAVIOR.

>> Chris: THE VADUI

CONTAINS SECTIONS TO BE

SAID BOTH CORPORATELY AND

PRAYED BY THE INDIVIDUAL.

THE GROUP REPEATS

CONFESSIONS LIKE, WE SIN

BEFORE YOU, WE BETRAYED

YOU, WE SPOKE FALSELY.

NOW WE WANT TO REPENT AND

ASK YOUR FORGIVENESS.

THE INDIVIDUAL PRAYS IN

PART, O GOD AND FATHER,

MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH,

I ACKNOWLEDGE MY SINCE,

DESIRING TO LEARN WHAT IS

YOUR WILL CONCERNING ME

AND RESOLVING TO DEVOTE

MYSELF MORE FAITHFULLY TO

YOUR HOLY SERVICE.

PALEGI SAYS CHRISTIANS CAN

FIND A PARALLEL BETWEEN

YOM KIPPUR AND THE

TEACHINGS OF JESUS.

>> WE HAVE A SEEING OF

JESUS, DON'T WE?

IF YOU BRING YOUR GIFT TO

THE ALTER AND YOUR BROTHER

HAS SOMETHING AGAINST YOU,

LEAVE YOUR GIFT AT THE

ALTER AND GO AND BE

RECONCILED WITH YOUR

BROTHER.

JEWISH TRADITION SAYS, GO

GET YOUR RELATIONSHIP

RIGHT WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR,

WITH YOUR BROTHER, WITH

YOUR FAMILY MEMBER,

FORGIVE AND BE RECONCILED,

AND THEN ON THE DAY OF

ATONEMENT, WHEN YOU BEGIN

TO FAST AND PRAY, AND TO

CONFESS, GOD WILL HEAR

YOUR PRAYER AND FORGIVE

YOU, AS YOU HAVE FORGIVEN

OTHERS.

THE TEACHING OF JESUS,

WHICH IS ALSO SOMETHING

THAT IS PART AND PARCEL OF

JEWISH TRADITION.

AND HERE THE TWO LINE UP

VERY NICELY.

>> Chris: CHRIS

MITCHELL, CBN NEWS,

JERUSALEM.

>> Julie: THOUSANDS OF

YEARS AGO, IN THE TIMES OF

THE JEWISH TEMPLE, THE

HIGH PRIEST WOULD HAVE

ENTERED THE HOLY OF HOLIES

JUST ONCE A YEAR ON YOM

KIPPUR.

IT WAS A TERRIFYING

EXPERIENCE AND AN AWESOME

PRIVILEGE TO STAND BEFORE

GOD FOR THE PEOPLE.

THOSE OUTSIDE KNEW HE WAS

STILL ALIVE BECAUSE HE HAD

BELLS SEWN ON THE HEM OF

HIS GARMENT.

ARCHEOLOGISTS IN JERUSALEM

HAVE DISCOVERED A RARE

GOLD BELL, BELIEVED TO BE

PART OF A PRIESTLEY

GARMENT IN THE TIME OF

JESUS.

TAKE A LOOK.

>>> THAT'S THE SOUNDS OF A

2,000-YEAR-OLD TINY GOLD

BELL.

>> AND THE MAN THAT WAS

WALKING WITH THAT BELL ON

HIS COAT, EVERYONE WAS

HEARING HIM COME, A SMALL

NOISE, YOU KNOW.

IT IS NOT A BIG NOISE.

JUST TO GIVE SOME RESPECT

TO THIS MAN.

>> Julie: ARCHEOLOGISTS

UNCOVERED THE BELL WHILE

EXCAVATING AN ANCIENT

DRAINAGE CHANNEL.

IT BEGINS AT THE POOL OF

SIGSILOUM, AND CONSIDERS TO

AN AREA BY THE WESTERN

WALL, WHERE JEWISH

WORSHIPPERS WOULD HAVE

ENTERED THE TEMPLE MOUNT

IN THE TIME OF JESUS.

>> AND THIS BELL WAS FOUND

BY THE SECOND TEMPLE.

>> Julie: THE BELL WOULD

HAVE BEEN ATTACHED TO THE

GARMENT OF A WEALTHY

PERSON.

THE BIBLE DESCRIBES THE

ROBE OF AARON THE HIGH

PRIEST, SAYING, UPON ITS

HEM, YOU SHALL MAKE

POMEGRANATES OF BLUE,

PURPLE OF GUARANTY, AND

BELLS OF GOLD BETWEEN

THEM, ALL AROUND.

HEAD ARCHEOLOGIST ELLIE

SHUKRA SAYS THERE IS NO

WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE IF

THE BELL CAME FROM A

PRIESTLEY GARMENT.

>> IT COULD BE ANYONE.

BUT I THINK IT IS FROM

JERUSALEM IN THE SECOND

PERIOD.

>> Julie: HE BELIEVES

THE BELL FELL OFF THE

MAN'S GARMENT AND INTO THE

DRAINAGE CHANNEL.

>> AFTER 2,000 YEARS, THEY

WERE WALKING, WALKING VERY

HARD IN THE TUNNELS OF

JERUSALEM.

AND AFTER 2,000 YEARS, WE

FOUND THAT BELL IN THE

TUNNEL.

>> Julie: ARCHEOLOGISTS

HOPE TO OPEN THE CHANNEL

TUNNEL TO THE PUBLIC LATER

THIS SUMMER.

SHUKRA SAYS DISCOVERS LIKE

THE BELL SHED LIGHT ON THE

NATURE OF JERUSALEM IN

SECOND TEMPLE TIMES.

UP NEXT, PRAYING AT THE

WESTERN WALL AHEAD OF YOM

KIPPUR.

>> Julie: THE VADUI

PRAYER WE SPOKE ABOUT

EARLIER IS PART OF WHAT

ARE KNOWN AS THE PRAYERS

THAT FINISH ON YOM KIPPUR.

HERE IS A LOOK AT WHAT YOU

CAN SEE ON OUR SOCIAL

MEDIA CHANNELS, PRAYING AT

THE WESTERN WALL AHEAD OF

YOM KIPPUR.

[SPEAKING A FOREIGN

LANGUAGE]

[CHANTING]

>> Julie: THAT'S JUST

ONE EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU

CAN SEE ON OUR SOCIAL

MEDIA CHANNELS.

WE WANT TO REMEMBER TO

PRAY FOR THE CHRISTIANS IN

THE MIDDLE EAST, THE

KURDISH PEOPLE, AND ALL

THOSE IN PUERTO RICO,

MEXICO, FLORIDA, AND

TEXAS, WHO ARE STILL

SUFFERING IN THE AFTERMATH

OF THE DISASTERS THERE.

AND REMEMBER THE GOD THAT

IS WATCHING OVER ISRAEL

AND YOU AND ME, NEITHER

SLUSLUMBERS NOR SLEEPS.

What's the first TV show you fell in love with? - Duration: 1:59.

Oh my goodness!

Fraggle Rock probably.

I loved Fraggle Rock.

The first TV show I ever fell in love with was definitely That's So Raven.

Oh, uhh, Who's The Boss.

Oooh, The Dick Van Dyke Show.

Quantum Leap.

The A-Team is the first one that comes to my head.

I'm going to have to say, like, Wonder Woman and Charlie's Angels.

Actually, no!

Lie!

I lied!

I don't want to be a liar on camera!

I'm going to have to say Carol Burnett.

The Love Boat.

And you know what's funny?

Jeffrey Tambor, who plays my parent on Transparent was on The Love Boat and his billing was behind

a seal.

It was Buffalo Bob and it was an after-school special.

I used to watch a lot of Simpsons growing up because my granddad just had lots - he

was obsessed so he had like box, like video, VHS's of Simpsons.

Loads of Simpsons.

Simpsons.

Yeah.

Loved It.

Oh man, I was a 90s Nickelodeon kid and my brother and I would rush back to the house

on saturdays because that's when SNICK came on and Ren and Stimpy was our favorite thing.

And it kind of still is.

It bonded us for life.

Full House.

Yeah.

It was a family affair for us.

My parents and I we would just sit down and hang out and watch Full House, it was like

a tradition.

I liked Father Knows Best and I liked Leave It To Beaver.

The Brady Bunch.

The Brady Bunch was the first TV show I fell in love with.

I just loved the sense of family.

And having a much smaller family than the Brady Bunch, I always fantasized about being

part of a big family.

"The City Will be Overthrown" (3) - What Is the Substance of the Pharisees' Opposition to God? - Duration: 25:16.

2,000 years ago,

the Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees

nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross.

2,000 years later,

the religious leaders have caused history to repeat itself

by nailing God to the cross again!

Right now, we must find a way to seal our church.

Anyone who believes in the Eastern Lightning will be expelled.

Mr. Huang, (Yes?)

cooperate with the government!

Captain Wei, don't worry. With the Eastern Lightning, I know what I need to do.

Aren't the Eastern Lightning's people already stealing our sheep?

Let's report them to the police!

Some call me Judas,

but even if I am Judas, it's worth it …

Brother Liu, Brother Qin,

through reading the Bible,

we all know that the Jewish Pharisees condemned and resisted the Lord Jesus.

But most of us still don't understand

that when the Lord Jesus did His work,

the Pharisees knew very well that His words had both authority and power,

yet they still resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus. (Yes!)

On the cross they crucified Him.

What was their nature and their substance?

Please discuss it in great detail.

Yes, please tell us. We'd like to hear more.

Yes, this really needs to be understood.

If we see the essence of the Pharisees' resistance of the Lord,

we can grasp the essence of the pastors' and elders' resistance of Almighty God

and we'll no longer be deceived or bound by them.

Isn't this indeed true?

Yes. Please talk to us about it!

Indeed. It really is.

Please talk to us about it.

Thank God. You are correct!

We believers in the Lord know that the Pharisees resisted the Lord Jesus,

but what was the root as well as the true essence of their resistance?

After two thousand years, still nobody of religion knows the answer.

Though the Lord Jesus' cursing of the Pharisees

was written in the New Testament,

no one has been able to discern the Pharisees' essence.

Indeed, that is clearly true!

In the last days, when Almighty God arrives, He reveals the answer.

Let's read Almighty God's words. (OK!)

Amen!

The Pharisees' view was absurd!

Everyone, Almighty God says it so clearly. (Yes.)

The Pharisees' resistance of the Lord Jesus

stemmed from their lack of reverence and not searching for the truth.

You see, deep down they were stubborn, arrogant, and didn't obey the truth.

The Pharisees defined God within their own conceptions,

within the literal words of the Bible.

They kept the Messiah in name only.

No matter how the Lord Jesus' words are the truth,

how much authority and power His words have,

because His name is not Messiah, they opposed and condemned Him.

True.

Their principles of faith are just as Almighty God says,

Not only did the Pharisees reject the truths expressed by the Lord Jesus,

they tempted Him and tried to find fault with Him.

For instance, they tempted the Lord Jesus

by asking what authority He used to perform miracles,

and asked the Lord Jesus if they could pay taxes to Caesar,

and if He Himself was the Son of God, Christ and so on.

The Lord Jesus, in response,

struck back at their evil plans with truth and wisdom.

Yes. Yes, indeed.

The Pharisees couldn't refute Him,

and yet they still didn't search for the truth.

They not only resisted the Lord Jesus;

they had Him arrested

and even demanded that He be nailed to the cross.

Yes. It's true.

It was exactly as the Lord Jesus said:

Amen!

Thus we can see that

the Pharisees, in nature and essence, were satanic demons,

enemies of God that hated the truth!

That's true. Yes, that's right.

Yes.

Brothers and sisters,

what kind of man can actually hate and condemn Christ?

The Pharisees could. (Yes, that's right.)

Yes. The Pharisees' story demonstrates one main fact:

All who believe in God

but do not love truth, are weary of truth, and hate the truth

do not know God.

In addition, these people surely resist God and take Him as their enemy.

Indeed.

Because the essence of Christ is the truth, the way, and the life.

Amen!

And so, anyone who hates the truth necessarily also hates Christ.

That's right.

Many people who actually hate the truth seem good on the outside.

Outwardly, they follow the Bible's rules and do not seem evil at all.

However, when Christ comes to do His work,

these satanic enemies of God will be completely and utterly exposed.

Thank the Lord! This is the truth!

Indeed.

The Pharisees' resistance of the Lord Jesus exposes their demonic essence:

They hate truth and resist God.

Yes. It's true.

We all know

that when the Lord Jesus did His work, He expressed many truths,

displayed many miracles, and gave people abundant grace.

The Lord Jesus' work was a shock to the whole Jewish state.

Many people followed the Lord Jesus. (Yes.)

You see, the Pharisees all knew

if the Lord Jesus continued His work,

all of the faithful in Judaism would follow Him;

then Judaism would fall and their positions and jobs would disappear.

Therefore, they decided to kill the Lord Jesus.

Just as the Bible says,

In order to protect their status and meal tickets,

the Pharisees colluded with the Roman government

to crucify the Lord Jesus on the cross.

They said,

As you can see, the Pharisees hated the truth and hated Christ

to the point where they did not want to co-exist with Christ!

Yes! That's right.

They preferred to forsake the sin offering to crucify the Lord.

They chose to commit monstrous sins, resist God, and offend God,

and have their sons and grandsons cursed

by nailing Him who expresses the truth to redeem man,

the Lord Jesus, to the cross.

That is the Pharisees' satanic truth-hating nature and essence.

Amen!

This is true. That truly is their nature.

The Pharisees are so despicable!

When the Lord Jesus was cruelly nailed to the cross,

the sun grew dark, the earth shook,

and the curtain of the temple split.

The Lord Jesus appeared once more after being resurrected.

When people learned of these facts,

many repented for their sins and turned to the Lord Jesus. (Yes.)

As for the Pharisees, they did not repent at all.

They actually became even more antagonistic enemies of the Lord Jesus.

They bribed soldiers to lie and say

the Lord Jesus had not truly been resurrected.

The Pharisees fanatically persecuted

apostles spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus.

They wished to ban the Lord Jesus' work

to obtain permanent control of the religious community.

Yes!

The Pharisees believed in God only in name.

In reality, they hated truth and resisted God.

The essence of their resistance of the Lord was thus:

They were trying to compete with God;

they were fighting against God.

The arrogance of their resistance of the Lord Jesus

completely exposed their ambitions

and exposed their evil satanic face.

Furthermore, it exposed their antichrist nature:

a lack of remorse, a deep hatred of the truth, and a hatred of God.

Amen!

That's true.

The Pharisees deserved to be cursed!

Brothers and sisters, let's think a bit more.

Isn't that how the pastors and elders of the religious community

treat Almighty God?

Right.

If we could clearly see how the pastors and elders

resist and even condemn Almighty God,

we would surely know

that the Pharisees resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus in just the same way.

Yes!

The pastors and elders resist Almighty God

the same way the Pharisees resisted the Lord Jesus.

Thank the Lord!

Your fellowship on the words of Almighty God has really opened our eyes.

Yes.

We now understand that the Pharisees' nature and essence

is hatred of truth and resistance unto God.

Yes.

No wonder the more the Lord Jesus expressed the truth,

the more the Pharisees hated Him.

They were resolved to nail Him to the cross. (Yes.)

The Pharisees were enemies of God and were irreconcilable with God.

They truly deserved to be cursed!

Amen! They did deserve to be cursed!

Yes. The two times that God was incarnated,

He exposed and condemned the Pharisees.

God looks deep into a man's heart.

Only God can see the essence of people's nature!

If Almighty God had not exposed the satanic, truth-hating,

and God-resisting nature of the Pharisees,

and we just relied on the Bible and our pastors' interpretations of it,

I fear we'd never be able to see the demonic essence of the Pharisees! (Yes.)

Only God can see men's essence!

Yes, that's right.

Brothers and sisters,

2,000 years ago,

the Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees

nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross. (Yes.)

2,000 years later,

the religious leaders have caused history to repeat itself

by nailing God to the cross again! (Yes.)

That's indeed true!

We've all seen that Almighty God carries out the work of

judgment beginning with God's house in the last days.

He expresses truths that can cleanse and save humanity.

He reveals all mysteries of God's management plan.

He judges and exposes man's satanic nature that resists and betrays God.

He shows them His righteous disposition which cannot be offended. (Amen!)

Almighty God's words are the truth.

They have authority and power, (Amen!)

and fully convince us. (Amen!)

Indeed.

Furthermore, these truths cleanse and save humanity.

Amen!

Thanks be to the Lord.

Look at today's pastors and elders.

They don't care how Almighty God's words are the truth,

how much authority and power His words have,

how they can cleanse and save man.

Stubbornly, they maintain their fallacy:

"Whoever does not descend on a cloud and lift me up into the kingdom of heaven

is not the return of the Lord Jesus."

They wildly resist and condemn Almighty God.

This is all true.

They keep the Lord Jesus in name,

yet resist and condemn Almighty God.

Is that any different from when the Pharisees kept the name of Messiah

but condemned the Lord Jesus? (Right.)

It's not different at all.

Is their essence not the same as the Pharisees':

stubborn, arrogant, disobeys truth, and hates the truth?

Yes.

They just believe in the vague God in heaven

and in turn they deny, resist, and condemn Christ incarnate.

They're rivals who are in enmity with Christ.

Are they not just antichrists denying, condemning, and resisting Christ?

Amen! Yes!

The Bible says,

Amen!

Amen!

Therefore, all who don't acknowledge God incarnate are antichrists. (Yes!)

All who resist and condemn Christ are antichrists.

That's right! I agree.

Therefore,

the Jewish Pharisees were exposed as antichrists by the Lord Jesus' work.

The pastors and elders in the last days

are all antichrists that are exposed by Almighty God's work.

How could he say that?

God incarnate's work truly exposes people.

Everything Christ expresses in the last days is truth.

Not only does it expose the wise and foolish virgins,

in addition, it also exposes all varieties of antichrists and non-believers.

Yes.

This is a truth that no one is able to deny.

Yes.

God's work is truly wise and almighty!

Indeed. That is clearly true.

Brothers and sisters,

the religious leaders in the last days

and the Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees

share the same roots and essence in their resistance to God.

The ways that pastors and elders resist God

are far worse than those of the scribes, the chief priests, and the Pharisees.

Ever since Almighty God started doing His work of judgment from God's house,

people of every sect have been raptured and brought before God's throne,

if they love truth and long for God's appearance.

Amen! It's true.

Thank the Lord! Thank the Lord that it is so.

The pastors and the elders stop at nothing to resist and condemn Almighty God,

all to constrain the faithful and maintain their standing.

They spread rumors, bear false witness, and blaspheme Almighty God.

They seal off the church and strictly forbid believers

from studying Almighty God's work in the last days.

Yeah, they really are too venomous!

They threaten, scare, ridicule,

and beat brothers and sisters who spread the gospel of the kingdom.

They even collude with the devilish CCP to capture and persecute them,

leaving hundreds of thousands of brothers and sisters without a home.

At least a hundred thousand people have been brutally tortured by the CCP.

Many have even been killed …

That's true.

The pastors' resistance of Almighty God

is greater than was the Pharisees' resistance of the Lord Jesus.

Yes.

Their evil deeds are quite numerous.

Therefore, Almighty God judged and cursed them long ago.

Amen!

Let us read Almighty God's words.

OK!

Page 894.

Amen!

God's disposition cannot be offended by men!

The words expressed by Almighty God

were publicly shared online, in print, and TV a long time ago.

Different types of gospel videos

have already been posted throughout the Internet

to testify God's manifestation and work to the whole world. (Yes.)

This has caused a shock in the religious community and in mankind.

Pastors and elders in the religious community have perceived the growing trend:

Almighty God's words are conquering religious community and humanity.

That's right.

No person and no force is able to stop it.

Yes. That's right.

They become irritated and so frantically resist and even condemn Almighty God.

They seek to outlaw Almighty God's work in the last days

and to obtain eternal control of the religious world

and also hegemony over God's chosen people.

Yes. It's so true.

These facts prove that

the religious pastors and elders in the last days

are the reappearance of the Pharisees! (Yes!)

They are antichrists that seek to destroy God's work

and have even sworn to the death to be enemies of God!

Amen!

Yeah, that sounds right, doesn't it?

Their many evil deeds already have provoked God's disposition.

How can they escape God's righteous judgment and punishment?

Amen!

This is indeed the truth!

This is all true!

Pastors and elders will say anything in condemnation of God

to protect their meal tickets.

Yes, right.

They'll do any evil deed in resistance of God. (Yes!)

These people are truly evil, despicable, and vicious.

They are demons reincarnated!

They should be cursed and hated! (Amen!)

Correct! We should all expose and reject them.

We simply must make a clean break from them.

We can't play a part in their evil deeds.

That is in accordance with God's will!

Yes! That's right.

Pastors and elders often made us guard against antichrists.

And yet it turns out they're the real antichrists.

Yes. That's right!

Like a thief crying "Stop thief." (Yes!)

In the past, we were ignorant and blind!

But now we're all able to see their true face. (Thank God!)

Why do you always group the pastors and elders in with the Pharisees?

Yeah!

Almighty God's work exceeds the Bible.

Pastors and elders resist Almighty God in order to protect the Bible.

Amen!

Could it be that they are wrong to do that? (No!)

Brother Zhang is right.

Pastors and elders often interpret, exalt, and protect the Bible. (Amen!)

How can they be resisting the Lord? (That's right!)

Are those who interpret the Bible incapable of resisting the Lord? (Yes!)

The Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees

interpreted and maintained the Bible.

Why didn't they acknowledge the Lord Jesus when He worked?

Why'd they capture the Lord Jesus and even persecute His disciples?

That's right! Yes, why?

The Pharisees interpreted and protected the Bible.

Why did the Lord Jesus condemn and curse them then?

How is this explained?
