Today I'm going to share one of the popular vegetarian recipe, that is with paneer
that is Paneer Tikka Masala.
It is very delicious and it is very easy to make in our home also.
Let's start the process..
For this, first we need to marinate our paneer.
So let me show you how to do that
In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of thick Curd
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon of Ginger Garlic Paste
1 teaspoon of Aamchur Powder, i.e., Dry Mango Powder
1 teaspoon of Coriander Powder
1 teaspoon of Garam Masala
1 Tablespoon of Red Chilli Powder, today I'm using Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
Coloured Bell Peppers, Red, Yellow and Green
1 Onion
I cut all the veggies in to cubes, like this
some Lemon juice
Don't add the paneer at this stage
First mix all the vegetables together
Now add our Paneer pieces
gently mix it. otherwise our paneer may break.
so all our paneer pieces and vegetables have nicely coated with the masala
now rest this in a refrigerator for half n hour
so its been half n hour, now lets start grilling our paneer and our vegetables
For that we need to heat some Oil (~1 Tbspn) in a pan
Now place our marinated paneer and vegetables on the tawa
now once they are done on one side, flip them, and evenly grill on both sides
here our paneer is getting grilled, meanwhile we will prepare our gravy
For this gravy, heat 2 Tablespoons of Oil and 1 Tablespoon of Butter in a Pan
add 1 teaspoon of Cumin Seeds, let them splutter
add 1 finely chopped Onion
add some Salt
fry the onions till they get golden brown in colour
so our onions got nicely fried
add 1 Tablespoon of Ginger Garlic Paste
fry it
add 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon of Coriander Powder
1 teaspoon of Cumin Powder
and 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala
1 Tablespoon of Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
and 1 chopped Green Chilli
fry them
now add our Tomato Puree, I have taken 1 large Tomato
fry it
so our tomato puree has been nicely fried, and the raw smell has gone away
now I have some leftover marination, add this
and some Water, to adjust the consistency of the gravy
mix it well
here check for taste and adjust the salt and spiciness as per your liking
so our gravy is nicely bubbling
now add our grilled paneer and vegetables
some Kasuri Methi, just crush it and add it
mix it well
now cook the curry for 5 minutes
so its been 5 minutes, our gravy has been nicely thick
now add 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Cream
mix it well
It is looking awesome
So our Paneer Tikka Masala is ready to serve
So our awesome and yummy Paneer Tikka Masala is ready..
Enjoy it with your favorite Roti, Butter Naan or Butter Roti or even Tandoori Roti.
It goes excellent..
