The biggest difference is that we actually have a trait in our product

that is the DroughtGard trait. They really just have selective breeding.

So basically we're taking it one step further. We do selective breeding, we pick

hybrids that are good in drought situations, but we take it a step further

and actually add in the gene and it has the trait, that is what we would call

DroughtGard.

Loyalist College - Donations Make A Difference - Duration: 1:19.

Receiving an award from Loyalist really helped with the extra expenses that come

along with being in college. Loyalist College would not be as

successful as it is today, the students would not have the resources that we

have if it wasn't for the generous contributions of people to Loyalist

College. At the end of first year I found out I was expecting and that was really

exciting, but nerve-racking because I knew I'd have to go back to school in

September. So in August I let my teachers know, made a plan and I walked into the

doors in September six months pregnant. I had Bennett on January 8, and a week

later I walked back into school with Bennett in a carrier on the front of me and

he went with me to school every day. I not only got the pleasure of graduating

this year, but during the ceremony I was holding him and he fell asleep in my

arms and I got the nod and he walked across the stage with me. It's weird how

connected I am to the school. My whole life is Loyalist. I owe everything to

Loyalist. I owe my career, my past experiences, my relationship and Bennett.

I wouldn't have Bennett if it wasn't for Loyalist.
