Leicester helicopter crash: Did you spot what fans did at crash scene? What a gesture - Duration: 2:42.

The Thai billionaire was among five people who passed away in a helicopter crash just outside Leicester's home ground on Saturday evening

Common practice after home games, the Foxes chairman got into his private aircraft and was headed for Luton Airport

Moments after taking off, the helicopter spiralled out of control, however, and crashed into Car Park E, bursting into flames just outside of the ground

Two members of his staff, Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz were the other people on the aircraft, according to Leicestershire Police

Before the official news broke of Mr Srivaddhanaprabha's death, fans had already begun to lay bouquets, scarves and messages of thanks outside the ground

Manager Claude Puel and vice chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha arrived at the scene this morning to send their best wishes

Club officials, including director of football Jon Rudkin and chief executive Susan Whelan, also attended as they viewed the floral tributes and the family laid their own

The president of the Thai FA, Somyot Poompanmoung and his wife, Potjaman Poompamoung, were also among the group, while various personalities from sport and showbiz - including Kasabian singer Tom Meighan - also arrived

Leicester City players such as Jamie Vardy, Harry Maguire and James Maddison also attended what has become a memorial site for Mr Srivaddhanaprabha and his fellow passengers

As they watched on, roughly 200 fans - like they did yesterday - congregated around the area

As people silently mourned the death of Mr Srivaddhanaprabha, the crowd broke into a rapturous applause

The playing and coaching staff soon joined in to commemorate the death of Mr Srivaddhanaprabha, who the club described as a "great man"

You Asked: What does student entrepreneurship look like at ASU? - Duration: 2:42.

So today, we're hear at Sky Song

in Scottsdale,

I know you're sitting there behind the computer screen

with that crazy, billion dollar idea

in the back of your head.

How do you get seed money for that?

What even is seed money?

Watch this video.

So right now we are at ASU SkySong:

the incubator for ASU startups.

You come up with an idea. You are like "Alright.

This is my idea. What should I do? Help me."

And then we'll be there for you. It helps you develop your

idea into a business and helps you go pitch it, and later

on have you proceed to Venture Devils and so on.

You're a student, right?

Yes. Uh huh.

And an entrepreneur?

Yes.

Is it ever hard to find a balance between those?

Um, well it can be challenging, but it's all about

taking risks.

Entrepreneurship at ASU takes so many different forms.

You can go from as small as, "Oh, I just started a t-shirt

company," and it can go all the way up to

"We just created a medical device that might be able to

cure some type of weird disease."

Innovative, man. Exactly.

With the Venter Devils program, you can submit

ideas of any type from health care to tech,

to biomedical devices, even social apps.

So many different majors and so many different facets

and opportunities to get involved with entrepreneurship

that it's almost a limitless process.

We're with Ben, by the way.

Little Ben squared action going on.

Hearing you talk, I'm inspired, but let's say I have an idea.

What if it's kind of ... it feels like sort of a childish idea.

Actually that is a normal concern.

That was my concern too when I first started my

you know, entrepreneurship journey.

Any idea is just valued, like no matter what.

Like even if it is like a stupid idea, I promise you,

it's really valued.

Because nobody takes me seriously.

That's the greatest thing! No stupid ideas.

Just get into it.

Get my edible silly putty off the ground.

Right. Make it happen.

When you form a team and you always, you naturally

draw other people from many different disciplines.

If you're a graphic designer, you don't need to argue with

a bunch of other graphic designers.

Nah.

No, you need to work with like maybe somebody from

engineering, and he'll tell you, "Yeah, that works on a 3D

printer, but I mean, I can't get aluminum to do what

you want it to do."

Right. And that little, that little balance is what you need

in a team to actually take an idea and

make it into a reality.

Can you talk about E+I?

E+I. So E+I is the entrepreneurship and innovation,

sort of, fellowship chapter of ASU.

They try to mold the program around a student's needs.

Being an entrepreneur and

thinking about entrepreneurship as just problem solving.

Innovative solutions to problems.

Is that one of the things you might attribute

our innovation ranking to – is this entrepreneurship

program? Completely. Yeah.

What's new with Speech Services? - Duration: 9:36.

>> Hello, my name

is Noelle LaCharite, and welcome to this week in Cognitive,

where I have the pleasure of sharing with you some of

the new and awesome things going on

in Cognitive Services and Applied AI.

Always feel free to connect with me

on Linkedin or connect with me on Twitter.

I'll be happy to be

able to answer any questions you may have had

or just share with you some of the latest and

greatest that's going on in this space.

So, for those of you who are new,

thank you so much for joining

us this week and Cognitive is

all about getting just snackable content every week,

and being able to see some of the latest and

greatest samples that we've developed just for you.

So, the first thing though I

always like to do is make sure that you

are familiar with the architecture

that we are talking about.

Right? So, we have built

an entire platform that makes it easy

for you to consume machine learning models,

and in this specific episode we're actually

going to be talking about the pre-built models

that are available for you to use.

So, you can see here,

we have pre-built models that we call Cognitive Services.

There's actually a collection of these

we call Applied AI,

and what it means is that you can apply these models,

you didn't have to build them,

you didn't even have to have your own data.

It's Microsoft data, Microsoft models

but available for you to use as a web service.

But sometimes, that's not enough for sometimes

it doesn't completely answer your question.

So, the very next thing we offer is

the ability for you to customize those models.

So, I'll show you today exactly how you can do that with

one of our brand new generally available services.

Even sometimes at that point that

might not solve your problem completely.

AI, right? This is a research activity.

You have to do lots of experiments.

So, you may get to the point where you

want to experiment on your own,

code first, build your algorithm from scratch.

Obviously, if you've already have algorithm,

you don't want to do that but if you can

use one that's pre-built, you want to do that.

But sometimes, you need to build your own.

So in that case, we provide an entire stack

of tools and frameworks and most importantly,

compute that will allow you to power your own models.

So, here you can see we have

a huge selection of computing power available

to you no matter what your side

of our architecture you're on,

whether you're using our pre-built

models or whether you're

using models that you're building from scratch.

Of course, I don't want to go without

mentioning all the tools that are available for you.

We want to meet developers right where they are,

meet you where you're building these models,

whether you're building them in a language

through our SDKs like C#, Java,

Node or Python, or whether you're using some of the tools

like TensorFlow or Caffe or Cognitive Toolkit.

Right? So, we want to make sure that you have

all the tools you need to build what you want.

Now, a lot of people consider

Cognitive Services to be a superpower,

like a magic wand.

Right? So, they're business ready,

they run on Azure,

they're part of your subscriptions

that you have available to use,

and I want to just give you

a little taste of what that looks like.

First, the languages.

All of these languages are supported.

You have the ability,

we consider Java, Node, Python, C#.

These are our primary languages

right there, first-class citizen.

So if you're a developer in this space,

we want to make sure that you know you have

access to these models through these SDKs.

But there are so many things that you can do.

Today, I'm going to just focus on one,

but look at all the different models you have available.

You could do things in computer vision.

I recently created an object detection model that

can tell the difference between two cartoon characters.

Just really interesting technology that can help you

solve some fun things but

also can solve your business problems.

So, everything from speech to being able to analyze text,

to be able to create a bot very very

quickly that can answer all of the top of

mind questions for your customers or your employees.

These things are already at your fingertips.

But today, what I wanna do is show you very quickly how

you can leverage our newest member

of the family in Cognitive Services.

Our newly generally available Speech Service.

So, the first thing I'm gonna do is

actually show you the website.

So, you can go out to microsoft.com to our Doc site,

and you can actually see that speech has changed.

So, for those of you who've used speech in the past,

used to have to cobble together a bunch of

different APIs in order to leverage the Speech Service.

But today, instead, what you will

find is now they are unified.

It's a single subscription.

So, now rather than having to piece all these things

together and they normally go together anyway,

we've made it easier for you to consume.

So, I'm going to actually show you a very special part of

our Speech Service which are some

of our preview technologies,

but I just think they're really cool and interesting,

and I wanted to share with you what we've done with them.

So, I'm going to show you Custom Speech,

and this is the ability to do what I mentioned earlier.

Take an existing model that we've

provided and then adapt it for your use.

Now, many of you may be familiar with the JFK files.

You can go out to GitHub today,

rebuild this project all by yourself.

If you want to play around with it,

the benefit of this project is it allows you to take

structured and unstructured data in

a file directory, a blob storage,

and be able to make sense of it and create analytics and

relationships across that data to

make it easy for business users to consume,

which is a problem every business has.

Now, I'm not here to talk to you about that,

I will in a future episode, but not in this one.

In this one, I actually wanted to show you

a bot that I built on top of this.

Now, this is JFK's,

so you guys might remember.

It's like a controversy that happened way back when.

Well, I thought it would be important you know this was

based on a president getting assassinated.

What if that new president

wanted to ask someone questions?

So I went back, looked up

the head of the FBI at the time,

his name was J. Edgar Hoover,

and I said wouldn't it be cool if we built a Hoover bot.

So, I created this hoover bot

in order to allow me to leverage

that Cognitive Search capability in

JFK files but interface with a chat bot.

Not only one with text but

also with the ability to leverage speech.

So, what I'm gonna do here is

just start a conversation with this chat bot,

Mr. Hoover, and I'm simply going to say, "Welcome".

>> Nice to be here.

Thanks for having me.

How can I help you?

>> Now, the voice you just heard was Synthesized Speech.

It's a new service that you have the ability to use.

So, what I did is that we took a bunch of

audio from those JFK files.

We also took some audio that we were able to

find across the Internet and we

used about an hour of

audio in order to create the synthesized voice.

Now I was in luck because this is like 1960's audio,

so it's not awesome to begin with.

But it does give you the ability to start

thinking about what is your business going to sound like?

I created a fictitious version

of Mr. J. Edgar Hoover for the purpose of this bot.

But this is something that you're

going to want to think about as you're

building bots for your experience.

Not only what does it sound like in the form of text

but also what does it literally sound like.

Now, another thing that's really

interesting is I want to provide the ability

to do things that most

default language models just can't do.

So, here's an example.

What's the most important cryptonym

associated with GPFLOOR.

>> KAPOK. It is

the cable indicator for

the highest level of documents sensitivity.

KAPOK is above RYBAT,

which is above EYES ONLY.

>> So, the interesting thing about that

is that there's two things that happened here.

One is I'm using words that

are not in the default language model.

Meaning, if I spoke this to just a default chat bot,

it would say what is GPFLOOR?

I have no idea what that is.

Most importantly, it would not be able to execute

a query on the doc set,

and return this response.

So, I had to train the language model

on this custom word.

So, I trained it not only on GPFLOOR,

which definitely is custom,

but even cryptonym wasn't in the library either.

So, I took 268 of these words,

I trained it on the pronunciation data so that

the model knew what it was when I set it,

and then it was able to translate that

to a query and actually pull that information

from this blob storage full of

documents of structured and unstructured data.

This is incredibly difficult to

do if you had to do this from scratch,

if you had to build your own model to support this.

Now, it's available to you in a web service.

So, just to give you a quick wrap up

of what we did here and what you can do at home,

you can actually go out to GitHub.

There are three projects.

One is web chat,

which is this basic chat box you'll see here.

It's almost exactly the same minus I slept on a picture.

Then, we grabbed speech to text and text to speech,

and then we added the endpoints from

these services in to create this experience.

It literally took a few hours and most of

that was me just fine tuning the way I wanted it to work.

So, I hope you enjoyed today's episode.

It's really great to have

an opportunity to play with the latest technologies,

and I really look forward to

seeing you guys in the next one.

What is Senescence? | Senescence and Aging | "Doc Talks" with Dr. Daniel Nuzum - Duration: 4:06.

Jonathan Hunsaker: Ever wonder what senescence is?

Stay tuned to find out the answer.

Jonathan Hunsaker here with Organixx. Thanks again for watching.

And the question is, "What is senescence?" or "What is aging, or the process of aging?"

And we're going to talk today about how it affects our gut health,

how it affects our hormones, and just how it affects our bodies overall.

Let's go to Doc Nuzum for the details.

Dr. Daniel Nuzum: Alright, so our question today is

"What is senescence?"

Well, in short, senescence is aging.

Typically, in medicine, what we look at senescence as,

is we look at the ability for someone to detoxify,

the ability to absorb nutrition, production of hormones,

and then finally, cognitive function.

Those are the four major things that we look at in senescence.

So, from a nutritional standpoint, what do we do?

What's the best approach to minimize that?

Because we all age. It's part of living. We're going to age.

How do we minimize the impact of aging?

Number one, gut health. We have to improve gut health.

How do we do this?

We do this with probiotics and enzymes.

We also need to scrub our microbiome periodically.

We call that detoxification.

Those are the three things for gut health that we would need to consider.

Number two, nutrition.

Are you getting all the nuts and bolts you need for your body to heal itself?

If you don't supply your cells with all the nutrients

necessary for them to rebuild themselves when they replicate, they don't replicate properly.

And that leads to all kinds of problems.

Hormones, hormone balance.

Reproduction is something that happens on a cellular level.

It's called replication, but it is a reproductive process.

And if our hormones are not being produced properly,

all of our reproductive processes get affected negatively.

As early on as possible, I recommend consuming adaptogens,

and that's for both men and women.

Adaptogens, adaptogens, as early on in your life as you can

start consuming them, consume them.

Why? Because they will regulate and maintain

a healthy hormone balance throughout your life.

So, we have our gut health, we have nutrition,

we have hormonal health, and we have cognitive function.

Those that shun change or shun technology, of all things, tend to have more of a cognitive decline

than people that are open to trying - open to broadening their horizons

and learning new technologies and learning new things.

And the bottom line there is it's the stimulation.

You need that stimulus of learning something,

expanding your knowledge on something, and so on and so forth.

So, for cognitive health and to slow cognitive decline,

I would recommend never stop being a student,

because that keeps your mind sharp.

So, that covers our four areas of senescence.

Jonathan Hunsaker: Thanks, Doc. As always, extremely informative.

I love learning from Doc.

One of the things that he talked about is hormones,

and if you weren't aware,

Organixx offers amazing hormone balancers with E-Plexx for women,

T-Plexx for men, and META-Plexx for everybody.

So, if you're interested, go to Organixx.com, go learn more about it.

after we graduate and stuff, like,

years in the future, like,

kids could like,

keep adding onto it to make it better?

Well, we're doing it to make, um,

this area, um, beautiful.

To make the parents who drop off the kids

know that we all like the community.

We chose what we wanted to do

and now we're just gonna make it happen.

("Hey guys! Log coming through!")

I was really surprised

when we got it done?

How really good it looked,

and we didn't-- we all didn't know

that we could complete it.

If you work hard,

something good always comes out of it.

What? You don't dress your farm animals up? Animal Shelter Howl-O-Ween 2018 - Duration: 4:09.

Okay, this video here we have entered some of our pets at a pet costume

contest to benefit the Redfield Friends of the Animals. But, we didn't use typical

pets. We have chosen different ones... go ahead and give us a big ol thumbs up

like and subscribe because I think you're really gonna like what we've

decided to do here and the pets we've used. So again, like and subscribe. Watch the rest of the

video it's great!

I am going to a animal show where we had to show off our costumes, our animals where

our animals they show off their costumes and we have to match the animals costumes.

Because my goat is going as The Joker and then I am obviously dressed up as

Harley Quinn. What about Kealyn? I'm going as Colonel Sanders for Kentucky Fried Chicken.

And what is your animal dear? A chicken... (laughter)

This is Miss Amy Strawn with the Redfield Friends of the Animals. She is

hosting this pet costume that we just won (by the way). Amy, tell us about your rescue.

About the rescue. Well we have been in the works for going on six years now. We

help our local animal shelter go from a high kill to almost a no-kill shelter

over those six years. And every year we try to do fundraisers and different things

in the community to spread awareness about spaying and neutering and just

helping educate about adoption and loving animals.

So why the costume contest? Because it's Halloween and who doesn't like dressed

up animals right? That's true. Great point! What else you got for us Amy?

That's....I guess that's it. You're the best! We, we love Amy we love Amy! She's also got a lot chickens yeah

I love chickens yep

They have Suicide Squad...

Excuse me. Yes?

Because English is not like Turkish

Sometimes it has useless rules

Or it has, illogical rules

That's why maybe you will be confused

Don't focus on grammar for now

Just learn them as ''Sentences'' and practice them

In Shaa Allah

In the future, you will learn in Grammar video Lessons.

for now, just try to learn how to speak

That's the most important thing

What is your job? means ''What is your occupation?''

What do you do? means ''What do you do?''

The answer can be anything

Let me tell you some answers

I am a student

I am a student

SNAPlife: What You Get If You Take A Negative Approach - Duration: 3:05.

You can't take a negative approach towards anything and expect to have a

positive outcome. I'm Bill Snodgrass and that is the topic of this SNAPlife

episode. My brother told me on Facebook just a few days ago that was something

my dad always said to him growing up. You… you can't have a negative approach

towards anything and expect a positive outcome. So we need to look and see what

does that mean. If you go into an opportunity or an obligation and you

have a negative approach to that, then to expect something positive to occur… it is

maybe a little bit… you know… stretching it. Let's talk about what we mean by

negative approach. A negative approach is going to be to… to be guarded or

defensive when you go into a situation, or to not really have any enthusiasm

because you don't think it's going to work anyway. You think it's just a waste

of time. A negative approach is going to… is going

to crush your your mood and your attitude and your your enthusiasm for

what you're doing so, if you start off with a negative… a negative attitude and

take a negative approach into a situation, you're really just… you're

really just undermining the the possibility of a good outcome. And this

isn't to say that sometimes… you know… you… you don't think something that's gonna

work out but then you get surprised. It's like—wow! That really turned out okay.

That happens… That does happen, and I would argue that when… when you are

surprised by a positive outcome there was enough enthusiasm for the…

for the process that that you… you… you put enough effort and energy into it to get

that positive outcome, even though in the back of your mind you're thinking, like,

this is definitely not gonna work. So as you as you face opportunities

and obligations, and you have these things that you need to accomplish… you

need to get done—going into them with a positive outlook… a positive attack you

know taking a positive approach into the situation is going to empower that

situation it's going to empower you to get the most out of it and even if you

end up against being surprised because you know you weren't sure the the effort

and the energy that you put into it pays off and if you're going to have a

positive outcome there there has to be some some positive energy put into it I

hope this makes sense. I hope you enjoyed this video. If you did please click the

like button, subscribe to the channel, sign up for notifications. That's all I

have for this one. I will see you in the next one.

Hydrostatic Test - Why It's Wrong (And What You Should Do) - Duration: 5:30.

Do you know how to do a sewer and water test?

In this video we're gonna teach you what a sewer and water test is and we're

gonna tell you why to get away from the words "hydrostatic test".

And we're gonna teach you right now.

I'm Roger Wakefield, LEED AP, The Expert Plumber.

Welcome back to another great video.

If you have not been here before and you want to learn all things plumbing as a buyer, a

homeowner, or a real estate agent start by subscribing right now and ring the bell so

you don't miss out on anything.

I recently did a class for some real estate brokers.

I do that quite often.

But this is one that I did for a big broker in North Dallas.

A great company.

They wanted to learn about plumbing so what we wanted to talk about is a hydrostatic test

and although I hate that word, I think that TREC has it in their contract but we need

to get away from that word.

We need to get to slab leaks, water leaks, sewer tests, water test, gas test, and that's

what I'm talking about here.

I hope you enjoy it.

Now I get into the hydrostatic test.

And TREC has this on their new form that came out, I think it came out January and they

started enforcing it in May.

I don't like the verbiage.

If you Google "hydrostatic test" it'll tell you it's a test on a pipe or vessel where

pressure is applied to the system to determine if there's a leak.

If you've got a plumber that wants to apply pressure, get rid of him immediately.

If he wants to pump up the system, get rid of him immediately.

What we do on a sewer test, we literally, we go in, we put a test ball in the drain

where it comes out of the house, we need a two way clean-out or we've got to find another

way to do it, but you put it in there, you fill it up to the top of the slab level, you

see if the water goes down.

There's no pressure applied.

Literally you've got about three feet of pressure so you're talking about 1.2 psi.

If y'all have ever been in a house that had the sewer stopped up, it's the exact same

thing.

Water is filled to the slab level so that's all we're doing.

We're not boosting the pressure, we're not creating problems, we're not ruining anything.

Why the other real estate company and and TREC keep calling it hydrostatic, I don't

know.

I'm guessing somewhere down the road a plumber came in applied pressure and blew something

apart.

I actually had an engineer fly back from Austin because he wanted to see me do his test because

he just knew I was gonna blow his system apart, his dad knew I was gonna blow his system apart.

So I showed him step-by-step what I did and filled it up and I said that's it.

He said: well I felt I thought you would put pressure on it.

I said: look I've been telling you I put no pressure.

All I did is fill it with water with a garden hose.

Once it reaches slab level you let it go.

After about 20 minutes you'll know if that water levels dropped any.

And if you stay longer and see how far it drops, and sometimes you need to say longer,

sometimes you don't, depending on the size of the leak you can tell about how far it

drops whether it's a tub, whether it's a toilet, whether it's down in the main.

You can't tell which one but at least then you know you have a leak and at that point

you turn this over to the seller; by the way we had a plumber come out.

And buyers normally pay for the sewer/water test.

They're the ones - it's their insurance.

So they'll pay for it.

They turn it over to the seller.

At that point the seller does a locate.

So three main tests not performed by home inspections.

The sewer test, that's the one I just told you about.

No external pressure.

The water test.

All we do basically is go into the house, we'll disconnect the washing machine, we'll

hook a gauge up to the washing machine box and see what the pressure reading is.

We go up to the meter, we turn it off, again we wait about 20 minutes see if it drops.

We can tell by how fast it drops how big the leak is.

Now this is good to do, we do need access to the house, but this is good because we

literally we go into the house, we make sure nothing's dripping, we make sure nothing's

running.

If we find a frost proof dripping or a toilet running or something like that we will tell

y'all: hey the seller needs to fix this first.

If it's something that we can valve off, say there's a toilet running and we can turn off

the angle stop.

We can go ahead and perform the test, and say the test passed but this toilet is running

and it needs to be repaired.

The last one is the gas test.

Gas test is a little harder to do it.

You've literally got a go in, you've got to disconnect something, you have to put a gauge

on, you have to cap it off at the meter, depending on where regulators are and what not.

But you pump it up.

Now gas - you know, water in our houses, they teach y'all 40 to 80 pounds is where it's

supposed to be for a home inspector.

Gas is a little bit different.

The gas in our house is about two ounces.

So it's very, very low and that gives us enough BTUs to heat up whatever we need to heat up.

The gas test, we only pump up to six pounds.

That's the only one we do apply pressure to but that same pressure is required by the

city or Atmos in order to get the gas turned on.

So we're not doing anything other than what the city actually wants us to do.

Thank you for watching.

If you want to learn more about plumbing check out some other videos we've done on The Expert

Plumber and start now by subscribing and ringing the bell so you don't miss out on anything.

I'll see you on the next video.
