Where are there currently holes in the research which you'd like to see filled?

Well, I'm sounding a bit as if this is my hobby horse but the holes I'd like to see filled

are around mechanisms, understanding what actually happens. I think we have a reasonable idea

what happens in relapsing remitting MS but I think we have a very poor idea about

what happens in progression. So I'd like to see much more around mechanisms

and I think that's a big target area because if you identify the mechanism

then you can identify treatment targets and then you identify treatments.

It's a logical sequence. The other areas are around biomarkers.

Sorry, what are they?

So what we need are things, markers, imaging or things we can measure in the blood or in the spinal fluid

that tell us what's happening, but also help us to predict what might happen.

So that we can use those markers in treatment trials as an indicator of whether a drug

is working or not. So they give you an early signal that something is working or not working.

Are you talking about imaging or a chemical thing?

It could be either. It really doesn't matter. It can be imaging, we've got some very good imaging markers.

But it can also be measuring substances like neurofilament, for example,

which is one of the proteins, one of the areas that we're measuring in the blood and in the spinal fluid.

The key thing is that it gives you an indication of what is happening in that person in relation to their condition.

And ideally it helps you to predict what might happen going forward.

So that's a gap. I think the other big gap for me is around symptom treatment and rehabilitation.

This is a big, big area, it's a very wide area. We put the two together but they're actually quite different.

Managing specific symptoms, each symptom needs a particular approach

But the whole concept of rehabilitation - can we get a better understanding of what happens in rehabilitaiton

and can we make it more effective and more targeted?

And that's a key element of the Progressive Alliance is actually looking at rehabilitation and symptom management

And we're having a major meeting in Toronto in May of next year focusing entirely on that subject.

Sure. Is this like a multidisciplinary approach?

Yeah, I think it's always multidisciplinary, whether you're talking about symptoms like spasticity

or pain, or fatigue, or cognitive impairment, it's always multidisciplinary and rehabilitation I suppose is

particularly multidisciplinary in the way it functions.

You need all the expertise focusing on the patient and on their symptoms.

What's the average down payment when buying a home? - Duration: 2:31.

Welcome to Homebuyer's School brought to you by Brookfield Residential get ready

to learn strategies tactics and tips on the home buying process join Karl Yeh as

he talks with experts with the savvy and experience to help you find your perfect home

Hi everyone and welcome to another edition of home buyer school

today I'm joined by Troy Champ he's a mortgage advisor with

Mortgage Tree and today the question that we're gonna answer is what's the

average downpayment of a house so Troy what's the standard typical down payment

for a house you know it really does vary depending on demographics and what area

the country you're in we're finding areas like Vancouver Toronto the down

payments higher it's 20% or more areas like Calgary there's a lot of first-time

buyers so the down payment is much less we're seeing the average around 10%

and is there a difference between down payments for a new home and a resale no

the down payment requirement is the same whether it's a new property or resale

property it's more based on the purchase price then the age of the property okay

and does the type of home affect the average down payment so whether it's a

condo a townhome or a single-family the down payment requirement is the same

regardless we do find that single-family homes tend to have RP or purchased by

repeated buyers so you know there's not the first home so when they're already

selling a property buying a new property they have more equity than the existing

house so the down payments larger so I think are you saying that as maybe along

your lifespan if you're buying more if maybe this is your second third house

you probably are spending a little bit more on correct yeah so you typically

your first home is a condo or townhouse your second home is a small move up your

third home is what we consider more of an estate home so by the time you get to

that stage you have a larger down payment available to you do you have

like an average that maybe first-time homebuyers usually most first-time

buyers are 5% yeah okay absolutely awesome well thank you very much Troy

thank you very much everyone for joining us and we'll catch you next time

Switchback: What We Do - Duration: 2:24.

[ALICE] At Switchback we work with

18-30 year old young men

who we meet in the prisons.

We support these guys

through the prison gate

and into employment

or wherever it is that they want to go.

They're all young men who

choose to come onto

the Switchback Programme,

make a new start

and do things differently

and the Switchback Mentor

is the person at the heart of that process.

[RICHARD] Switchback Mentors work with

potential Trainees for up to

three months before release

so it's a very intensive

exploration of why and how somebody's

going to make a change when they get released.

Once someone is released from prison,

Switchback Mentors are there on the very first day,

meeting them at probation,

and getting the ball rolling

with them coming into the Cafe and

coming into the Switchback offices.

[TAPIWA] When I was in prison, Sophie came along.

She told me about Switchback

and then she told me about the Cafe and everything

so I said I was interested in it

and from there when I came out

I said to her I'm gonna get involved in it

'cause I do want to change my life

and Switchback, you know, is perfect.

So I meet Joe, and once a week

we review our action plan

and then sometimes I'd have to go to probation,

maybe go to the Job Centre,

and the Cafe shift as well.

See, if I'm feeling low I'll call him

to ask to see what he thinks about it.

[RICHARD] Often these young men have

never worked before

and to be brave enough to start afresh

can be incredibly difficult.

But seeing these guys shift

the way that they see themselves

interacting with society at large

that, in itself, for me as a Switchback Mentor is

the most rewarding aspect of the job.

[ALICE] One of the really shocking national statistics

is that 46% of people

coming out of prison

are back inside within a year

so one of the things that we're really proud of is

that, with Switchback Trainees,

our reoffending rate is actually 9%.

[TAPIWA] I used to see, like, a dark...

The darkness of the future

but I reckon I could see myself

this time definitely going somewhere.

I don't see myself, not one bit, going back

to the old lifestyle.

I'm completely a different person

to what I was there,

involved in crime and stuff.

What is NLP? - Neuro-Linguistic Programming - Duration: 3:30.

So what is NLP?

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Neuro refers to your neurology; Linguistic refers to language; programming refers to

how that neural language functions.

In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind!

Let's make this simpler with an example.

Have you ever tried to communicate with someone who didn't speak your language, and they

couldn't understand you?

The classic example of this is when someone goes out to a restaurant in a Foreign country

and they think they ordered steak, but when the food shows up, it turns out they actually

asked for liver stew.

This is the kind of relationship that most of us have with our own unconscious mind.

We might think we are "ordering up" more money, a happy, healthy relationship, peace

with our family members, and being able to stick to a healthy diet…but unless that's

what showing up, then something is probably getting lost in translation.

In NLP, we have a saying: the conscious mind is the goal setter, and the unconscious mind

is the goal getter.

Your unconscious mind is not out to get you–rather, it's out TO GET FOR YOU whatever you want

in life.

However, if you don't know how to communicate what you want properly, it will keep bringing

steaming bowls of liver stew out of the kitchen.

In fact, go ahead right now and think of, if there was one thing you could change, one

habit you could break, what would it be?

Would you remain calm during work presentations?

Quit procrastinating and spending so much time Facebook?

Not devour a whole bag of potato chips or tub of ice cream in one sitting?

Whatever it is, realize that your unconscious mind only does that because it thinks that's

what you want.

("Sir, here is your procrastination along with a side of anxiety.

I've also told the valet to bring up your emotional baggage as per your request.

Will you be needing anything else?")

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is like a user's manual for the brain, and taking an NLP training

is like learning how to become fluent in the language of your mind so that the ever-so-helpful

"server" that is your unconscious will finally understand what you actually want

out of life.

NLP is the study of excellent communication–both with yourself, and with others.

It was developed by modeling excellent communicators and therapists who got results with their

clients.

NLP is a set of tools and techniques, but it is so much more than that.

It is an attitude and a methodology of knowing how to achieve your goals and get results.

Here at NLP.com, presented by The Empowerment Partnership, our mission, put simply is to

empower the planet.

How does teaching NLP help us do that?

Because after being in business for 30 years, we've have spent that time gathering all

of the best concepts and techniques to help you get in control of your mind, your emotional

state, and your life.

That is what NLP is.

What's Going To Happen At My Meeting With The Bankruptcy Trustee? - Duration: 2:30.

I know I'm going to file bankruptcy and I know I have at least one public appearance

to meet with the trustee and my creditors.

What's going to happen at that point?

My name is Ron Drescher.

I am an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania

and Virginia.

And your meeting of creditors, while it can be a very stressful experience doesn't have

to be.

Typically you're testifying under oath about the accuracy of the schedules, and other bankruptcy

papers you have filed, and about your income and your expenses, and your assets and your

debts.

The whole process in a typical Chapter 7 case takes about 10 or 15 minutes.

It is in public.

There will be people in the gallery.

You shouldn't pay attention to them, and make sure you have your photo ID and your original

Social Security card with you at that meeting, because if you don't, the trustee won't have.

In a typical Chapter 13 case you doing all the stuff that you did in the Chapter 7 meeting

of creditors, or meeting with the trustee, but they're also going to talk to you about

your plan and about whether or not you can satisfy the obligations that you are promising

to make under your Chapter 13 plan.

Typically in a Chapter 13 case the trustee is gonna talk about amendments to your plan

or amendments to your schedules, or maybe the trustee will want more documents.

You shouldn't be upset if that happens in your Chapter 13 case.

Now, they call it the meeting of creditors.

I call it the meeting with the trustee because, although creditors are given notice of the

date time and place of the meeting they almost never show up unless they're usually somebody

who you know.

So that is not typically an experience you're going to have at your meeting with the trustee.

My name is Ron Drescher.

I am an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights and if you are concerned

about what's going to happen at your meeting with the trustee, please pick up the phone

and call me.

I would love to hear from you.

yo yo yo CPA strength here with another video I don't know why I was listening

this video is brought to you by motivational speaking

gangster rap formal Friday the most Jacked CPA you might know what does this is hair

Thomas I don't know what's he saying

ones prayer Irwin's pray ok ok I don't know I just felt like doing that for

this video don't know what hi I'm we listen to motivational speaking for the

past couple hours and so I just had my life had my laptop over here and I just

you know I got my camera out I got this board ready for what we're doing today

and all this all this stuff and you know hit record and Campbell everything got

ready and I've been playing this for two hours so that was the next thing that

came on I don't know I just thought that'd be fun like why is like the next

thing and it was what was it what's interesting a gazelle no lion because

the gazelle is running from something I don't know anyways yeah I've listened

to a lot of motivational speaking this morning and of course the gangster rap

they're like they're like JD why do you listen to this trap why do you put this

trash music in the middle of it because it motivates me because because I love

it because it is me because I you know what am I

I think the first tape I ever bought was 2 Live Crew tape wrapped

they're from they're from down here and in South Florida and it's like you know

another lice license to ill by Beastie Boys a rap tape I just that's who I am I

love rap I love traveling I love shoot em up bang bang gangster rap all right

just what is just what it is it's me and I'll tell you what there's something

that I'm better than every single one of you watching this right now I am a

better Jonathan Dorn than anybody else in this world get that so I'm just gonna

keep doing me baby yeah anyways this is accounting for beginners number 91

noventa you know a 91 can you believe we made 91 Rogner making my first five oh

my god anyways so there's 91 so you're like did you do 90 other videos on

accounting for beginners yeah bro so up here's the playlist best playlist in the

world you get all the videos now this is like what is the best what what is the

best you know and and it's it's a good question i I wanna I'm just I'm trying

to be the best in the world at something so it's like you know you're trying to

pass a class you're trying to pass the class you're trying to learn accounting

you're like what's the best mapping system what's the best mnemonic what's

the best way you know I like DC a blur it's just kind of what I learned also

I've gotten fat you know hundreds of thousands of different variations of the

DC Aylor like I in the comment sections I use this I use this I like this

they're all good what I'm saying is they're all good okay it's like pizza

it's like deep-dish in New York fin you know

all good okay you know what are you like pepperonis or olives or both or it's all

good it's however you know however you're eating that pizza all right baby

so I used to sailor and what I was getting at is I read a comment that I

frickin actually forget now what he said he uses waited someone did something

left to ease here and he got confused whether it's an expense or inequity

which yeah I agree but I've just started with this and so ingrained and I don't

even really use like this this any words what I'm getting at

so some other popular ones is Dade Claire I've seen DCT or and then over

here it's like I use equity right here for the Lord I use equity right here but

then you know some other other people have you know change some of the

letterings around I guess I should I just noticed right now they all start

with D so at least everyone can always remember that that's debit I guess I

don't know I just saw that right now I have a very weird brain I'm weird weird

weird I actually got a comment so it's a CPA strength you're weird as fuck I'm

like thank you very much and if so I use equity other people place capital other

people put owner's equity what I'm saying is I'm not I'm not concerned

about which way what mnemonic or mapping device you use I'm not even concerned if

you even use a mapping device I really don't care do I care what you call if

you call it equity owner's equity or capital no it's basically what the owner

has invest in the business it's or you could see I

I kind of like to see as how what I think this these are is assets equal

liabilities plus equity that's the balance sheet right and so you have

assets so you have a truck right you have a truck here who owns the truck do

you all over the truck to somebody else or does the company own it

oh or owned you owe or do you own it right so that's right that that's all

this is do you what part of the assets do you own or not so I don't care how

you label it what's what's the best right what's the best its however

however you can get to a debit over here debit on the left and a credit on the

right

I just thought I'd construct like what I think is important and how you get there

I don't really care how you get there like you got to work did you take them

you got you know you got to the word you got to the workplace bright-eyed and

bushy-tailed I don't care if you drove your car I don't care if you took the

subway I don't care if you took a a scooter I don't care if you hitchhiked I

don't care how you got here you just here all the time when you're

bright-eyed and bushy-tailed diverse I just think I just took that analogy on

the spittle yeah so I don't care how you put it fill in these eight different

boxes and I just want you to fill in these eight boxes the most important

thing see I do the most really the most important thing and everything is either

going to be a debit or a credit so left or right so that's why I personally like

to segregate that's not racist is it anyways I like to separate the D and the

C because that's debit and credit cuz that's like half of it left and the

right then I don't care how how or when

basically you have you have three items you have three items that if they're

increasing their debits then you have three items if you're worried if they're

increasing they're gonna be credits so you you know you can mix match them all

the way let's see Dave Clark has the same the same it's a central expense see

death damn debit and credit but I like to just get out of the way first on its

own thing cuz it's me it's it's own thing it's a debit credit but I see the

mayor this and the de-clutter because because

you have them you have them separated I kind of looking at this one down I'm

kind of liking this date Claire - because over here you have your your

debits and then over here you have your credits

when they're both going up so I kind of like this one too

and it has an C it has s it has the assets here has the assets tough left

and then and then it has C has the asset and then it has the liabilities and

equity say I have the asset the liabilities and equity right there

so I have the balance sheet like what's a fuse the DC deal this is a e.e al

I'm sorry draw expense assets you have so you so this so the DC dealer

draw expense asset and and then over on lor liabilities owners owner equity

revenue so the same the same over here right the revenue will go here what I

don't like about this one my personal preference but if you like

it you like it this one it it mixes up

see here's here's the income statement on this one and then the balance sheet

is here and then this is the other side of that so see that's why I don't really

like the different that's why I personally like a DC a blur to this

video even make any sense did this video help anyone I hope it helped of somebody

because that is the main focus of my videos when I make one every morning how

many people can this help can this help somebody is this gonna help somebody so

I hope this helps somebody I really do mmm let's see if we can summarize in the

last couple minutes that I have what was I thinking because I always get I use

this or I use this it really doesn't matter oh I know what I can summarize um

hi Google search myself the other day just the CEO pops up and it's kind of

amazing how big I'm getting now and the stuff if you were to search for me 20

years ago that would have popped up or when the internet started I just I just

just flooded it with more different stuff for my name anywho so now I was

gonna summarize what are you gonna summarize but they're like how can I

trust how can I trust Eph strings how can I trust it can I trust them that's

what I was a question on ready I seen hey this guy's CV strength does

anybody know he has the basic accounting series on YouTube Grant trust them

well yeah cuz I just teach the basics all I'm teaching all I'm teaching is so

it's like the DC and learn I don't want to get caught up in that you know it's

the basics of accounting I don't I just want you to know debit or credit debit

is left credit is right I want you to know on the left hand on the left hand

side which is also the debit side you would have three different accounts in

the positive form asset draw an expense on the right side also the credit side

you would have three different accounts main accounts whatever that if they go

up they go on if they're increasing they go on the right side there's also the

credit side those three accounts are liability equity and revenue so that is

the summer I don't care how you get there I want you to stop forget about

all the rules in your head how you get there I just want you to write that on

your paper every single morning and then I'm telling you after a year or

something you just put a line you'll just put a line through this and then

you know you just see it in your head but anyways I love this till next time

this is see

This Is What Happens When You're A Red Velvet Fan and A "Spaghetti Noodle Master" - Duration: 1:40.

This Is What Happens When You're A Red Velvet Fan and A "Spaghetti Noodle Master"

A Red Velvet fan shared photos of the Red Velvet members as spaghetti noodles.

The spaghetti noodles closely resembled each of the members quite accurately.

Not only did the fan capture every detail in the members faces….

…but they were also able to make figures of them dancing and posing!.

Other fans who came across the spaghetti art were mesmerized by similar they looked to the real members.

However, these are all photoshopped and not actual spaghetti noodles! .

Still doesnt take away from the fact that this fan is really talented!.
