Auto news on Youtube Aug 30 2018

Hi everyone, we are still downhill now on their final

Steps to complete the 90-day health and well-being challenge. I

Have

injured myself

Yesterday while I was doing some hanging abs so already some weeks now I have that burning

muscle pain on top

In the upper body area. It's I'm sitting all day. I'm sitting all day here in the office

but while I'm on my computer

And then I'm doing some workout at home and I am back on my desk again for my for my own online business

Until very late in the evening, so again sitting and

We all know and I know that I have to look after myself very well

And there was a certain routine which I just stopped

some months ago and

It's to have a massage every week once a week, maybe an hour. So I went to a Thai massage studio

Regularly, that lady was awesome. She really?

put her elbow in in my upper area and everything was worked through very well and

After six weeks that was fine, so I continued another

3-4 weeks and then I stopped and

Isn't it funny? We know exactly what's good for us?

And as soon as the pain is gone

We think that's done and we don't need it anymore and we fall into old patterns and this is now hitting me again

so everything was is very tight here and

Yeah, it's kind of let's say blocked and then when I when I put I mean I'm in these

Belts and I'm at with the hanging ABS something just

kind of a muscle where pull so

It's quite painful

Again, it will stop me from doing these tiny abs and I know that these are the most effective ads

So I would have to replace this exercise now with something new

Most likely the TR expands or something

It's just funny and I was I was laughing about myself because I know exactly that I should do that regularly

But as soon as I start feeling better and don't have pain anymore, I stop doing things

Which is not good

so I have already booked my appointment with the Thai massage and I will continue doing that now once in a week and

Hopefully this time I will stick to it even when the pain is gone

Yeah, but still there. Is that goal that we want to accomplish and yeah

We are all in this together and there's always a way out of it

Yeah, so that was my share for today

Look after yourself. Well treat yourself. Well and

take your time to

To recover as well. Yeah, so that was Michelle and I talk to you tomorrow. Bye my friends

"Why is my light flickering?" Haunted Farm House Exploration! *Bonus Clip at end! - Duration: 11:10.

officials say when the house collapsed three people were inside a mother and

her two daughters drivers how that kind of good stuff

cameras freaking out good my legs for you

Oh

what is going on guys knife coming at you with another video vlog video

abandoned Trek so we're gonna check out another event in place I hope you guys

enjoy this it's a little bit different we're gonna see we can check out a

couple not hundred percent sure though we're also going to check out Tom's old

abandoned house that apparently is gone now so we'll check it out

either way guys I do appreciate all the support on the channel all the help you

guys been having sharing the video dropping like subscribe to the channel

always helps so guys I do appreciate it either way less stolen let's get into it

all right so we made it to our first location I hope you guys can hear me

we've got a highway not too far from here locations not too bad but we're

definitely gonna work our way into the building and see what we can find inside

all right so we made it into the building we're gonna check it out work

our way around and see if this building is actually worth it to work our way

through so you've got a nice little dining room area living room the main

living quarters of the house windows with a nice blue tint to them with the

coverings on even give you some free insulation on the ground already so

fairly for more insulation they used some free stuff on the ground nice

hardwood floor so far nothing looks too beaten up in here which is kind of

amazing ceiling paint starting to come down only in certain spots so this might

be a little bit of a fixer-upper but shouldn't be all too bad you got a

secondary small little I guess bedrooms slash everything storage unit room again

nice window coverings from house wrap oh yeah even give you a free double bed

comes with the house

work her way through the main entrance getting into the kitchen area kitchen

nice open-concept no island or anything you got the cupboards on one side with

the backsplash tile

get the invitation granite countertops look all fancy big nice window on the

back end and then of course the sink side of the kitchen area and work our

way over to the backside in the backside if you come into here we got a small

little back half bath so it's where they put it put the washers and dryers

really put the washers dryers and all that kind of good stuff

cameras freaking out good and my legs freaking out

what's going on with this alright anyways let's keep working away or work

our way to the back as you can see there is a little bit of a fixer-upper for the

fact that the whole back side is completely the floor is gone there's a

big hole in the back side it looks like me the Foundation's starting to go so

they're trying to work on it obviously it doesn't look like they're gonna be

finishing up anytime soon I'm assuming yeah I'm gonna turn my light off cuz

this just spazzing out right now I don't know why work our way up the

stairs to the second floor it's is gonna be a three-bedroom house

it looks like once you get to the top of the stairs small little staircase work

your way left it looks like this is probably going to be the main master

bedroom or one of the secondary it's not a hundred percent sugar but you can tell

the rid the roof you've got a small little attic up there which I can't

imagine anything being up there just storage room got a small little vanity

bookcase on one side nice little cupboard here you can store whatever you

want Nick even being food whatever you feel like clothing and then work our way

back down the other hall to the right of the staircase we'll come into a larger

room this one here like I said could also be

considered to use as the master bedroom depending on which way they wanted to do

it where they wanted to go but another

access point to the Attic as well

hardwood flooring still pretty good the flooring is a little wonky though it's

not too bad this one has have also two little closets one on that side and then

one over on that side as well and then work our way back into the third bedroom

up here so the smaller of the two on the end of the buildings on the end of the

house not too bad for size-wise the house is actually a pretty good

condition besides some paint billing and the back porch pretty much given out you

checked out the whole building we checked out all the rooms were upstairs

right now and what we're gonna do is rewrite this

so what do you guys see leave a comment in the section below let me know it's

this place worth it wild factor Wow for the fact that it's still in a wicked

condition not a lot of people actually meeting here and vandalize it yet we're

just amazing number two I'd give it probably blog to say an 8 out of 10 for

a WOW factor of cleanliness and everything location it's not too bad so

given another 7 out of the 10 foot location it's a little bit of a sign of

Ottawa but all in all not too bad at all and spook factor if you want to call it

I don't know nothing too spooky about it it's kind of spooky when we first got

here to see the big hole in the ground not knowing who's inside but smooth

factor at this point I'm going to go with bill half boys both and even five

of the ten alright guys hope you enjoyed it

let's work our way to the next

alright guys we made it down to Tom's old house it is completely gone I'll

leave some screenshots in the video here as you can see there is nothing left

they tore everything up they filled in the basement tore up the house tore down

all the barns around it trees are all still there that are falling down and

that it would have gone down into their basement so they've completely filled

all of this in now at this point I also heard - that the barn initially I was a

fire that one more I guess the larger burns had burnt down

and that's one reason they tore the whole house down

Busby's he was all the way back in right there was where the other burn was and

also the well would have been back there - we'll work our way over this way let's

see I'm curious where the actual well is it is a big trees that have been burnt

down you know that well would have been over to this direction around in here

somewhere this would have been I guess where the fire was that the more recent

house had burnt down or the burn part of it because this tree wasn't burnt last

time we were here so this must have all gone up in flames and then you work her

way all the way over back here is where the further back burn was another small

one and it appears to be there's some kind of bricks or old foundation from

building maybe or a washbasin or a spot for horses to drink out of

pretty much one of the only things left back here is a little wash basin for the

horsies probably back in the day and there's part of it over there as you can

see guys it is completely gone so it's not going to much longer this is here

but I hope you guys enjoyed it drop a like on the video subscribe if you guys

are new it always helps the channel grow always helps them there's support to the

channel makes Cretan content a little bit easier a little bit fun either way

guys I hope you enjoyed it

so those are still walking around Tom's old abandoned burn house it looks like

they haven't got rid of everything the basement might still be here not 100%

sure but we were just messing around and a lot of this is part of the house this

is part of the front porch which would have led to the kitchen and essentially

their basement but as you can see a lot of these boards you can move out you can

pull most of these out so who knows this building might actually still be here

the basement is Tom here or is he at the new location that's moe moved him to let

me know what you guys think down below

Why Do Some Animals Eat Poop? - Duration: 3:59.

Hi, this is Emily, from MinuteEarth.

Humans eat lots of weird stuff, but one thing we almost never eat is poop, either because

we're naturally grossed out by it, or because we've learned that poop contains nasty pathogens.

But for lots of animals, feces is a regular part of the menu.

That's partly because poop isn't necessarily as dangerous as we think.

While poops from sick individuals can contain disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and parasites-

and contaminate anything they touch - healthy poops are usually just water, harmless bacteria,

undigested food, and some metabolic waste and dead cells.

Poison control centers consider accidental ingestion of poop - human or otherwise - to

be minimally toxic, and doctors even prescribe poop pills from healthy people to combat hard

to treat gut infections.

And because the digestive process doesn't usually manage to suck ALL the nutrients out

of food - poop is nutritious.

Herbivores, for example, leave a third of food nutrients in their poop.

As a result, animals like dung beetles and flies subsist almost entirely on nutrients

from the poop of other animals.

And for thousands of years, humans have built toilets over pig stys because pigs can get

almost all of their nutrition from human poop.

And while some dogs will snarf down most poops they come across, lots of dogs will actually

use their keen noses to sniff out fresh poop that has specific vitamins or enzymes they're

craving.

And some animals regularly extract leftover nutrients from their OWN poop.

For example, when gorillas feed on the hard seeds of the Dialium tree, their gut bacteria

soften the tough seed but don't extract many nutrients.

So when times are tough, gorillas will often eat their excrement to extract the seeds'

full complement of fat and sodium.

And when the southern cassowary eats cassowary plums, the fruits are so big and the bird's

digestive tract is so short that the cassowary poops out whole chunks of the fruit; it then

turns around and picks them out to eat - and digest - again.

Other animals absolutely have to eat their own poop.

For example, rabbits eat lots of the same foods that ruminants like cows do, but while

cows have long, complex digestive tracts that give the microbes inside time to break down

the tough plant cells, rabbits have much shorter guts.

So, after a yummy plant meal, they poop a soft mucus-covered cluster that contains the

partially digested food and the microbes in charge of digesting it.

Then they gobble the whole package back up in order to recover the nutrients and bring

the microbes back into their guts.

Finally, the rabbit poops real rabbit poop.

Koalas, too, must eat their own poop.

Or at least their own mom's poop.

They have a specialized diet of eucalyptus leaves, which are both fibrous and toxic,

and their babies aren't born with the specialized bacteria needed to break it down.

So for several weeks, the baby just eats pap: a soft, green poop chock full of those bacteria

that the mom makes special for her little one.

Pap both supplies nutrients AND gives the baby the microbes it needs to digest its future

food.

As baby food goes, this number two is second to none.

Feeding your baby poop is a pretty strange strategy.

But feeding your baby to a predator is an even stranger one.

When a quokka mom gets cornered, she sometimes ejects a helpless joey from her pouch and

runs the other way.

And this actually sort of makes sense - she has a spare!

I learned this by watching the newest video from Animalogic.

If you like learning about animals, you'll love Animalogic, where Danielle combines her

explanatory powers with her drawing skills to teach you everything you've ever wanted

to know about animals ranging from cute sea otters to xenomorphic wasps.

Why Does China Let You Do This? | Leland Miller | Expert View - Duration: 1:57.

Question number one we get from almost every prospective client is why are you allowed

to do what you do.

You're going on TV.

You're calling the data fraudulent.

You're calling the Chinese liars, and you're saying that the data aren't what they claim

to the data.

Why do they let you do this?

And I think it comes down to the fact that we've established ourselves as being useful

callers of balls and strikes.

So back in 2015, when the vast majority of people either thought that the economy was

imploding or they thought differently, but they weren't willing to publicly say it, we

came out very strongly out in public after counseling with clients for about a week and

said, this is a major overreaction.

People are going to look really foolish in a matter of weeks.

Yes, China's economy is slowing down, but it's slowing down very similarly to what it

did last quarter and the quarter before that.

There have been some anecdotal reasons why someone needs to be worried.

Manufacturing is slowing.

The stock market did crash.

There have been some problems with the currency.

But these are small anecdotal bullets that don't reflect the larger picture?

And we came out saying, we looked at our data this week, this morning, an hour ago, and

it shows that everything looks pretty good right now.

And so I think after August, 2015-- and this happened again in early 2016-- it became very

clear to the Chinese government that they may not like what we say the vast majority

of the time, but there is great value in having a trusted third party out there that is not

interested in being a bull or a bear, but just wants to collect the data and just wants

to call balls and strikes.

Are women just better drivers - Why men pay more for their car insurance - Daily News - Duration: 8:05.

</form> The debate over whether men or women make for better drivers has been going on for as long as we've had cars

But what's not open to debate is that when it comes to sorting out insurance, it's men that end up paying more

According to data from price comparison site Confused.com , women enjoy lower car insurance premiums on average, typically paying £701 a year for their cover

That's £92 a year on average less than male drivers.  This is particularly interesting as back in 2012 a new piece of legislation was brought in across the EU which barred insurers from discriminating on the basis of gender

It was brought in precisely because of concerns that men were being charged more than women for their cover

Back in 2012 men paid an average of £27 a year more for their cover, so rather than levelling the playing field, men have seen the price difference from women drivers rocket

So why do men pay so much more? Is it simply the case that women are better drivers? Read More Car insurance: What you need to know What do you do for a living?  A significant factor that insurers take into account when working out your car insurance premium is what you do for a living

Insurance pricing is all about risk - the more likely you are to make a claim, the more expensive your premium will be

And if you're in a profession which will see you on the road a lot, then you're more likely to be caught up in an accident and therefore need to make a claim

There also seem to be some trends about people working in certain jobs being more likely to need to claim on their cover

Earlier this year GoCompare looked into which professions end up with the highest car insurance quotes, and it's fair to say that many of the top ten are jobs that have traditionally been dominated by men - things like barbers, security guards and construction workers and builders labourers

Got a new motor?  Another reason that men tend to have pricier cover is the car itself

The more expensive the thing is that you're looking to insure - whether it's a house, phone or car - the more expensive that cover is going to be

And seemingly men generally own more expensive cars. Confused.com's data suggests that men own cars with an average value of £8,654, compared to women at £7

090.  Given that, it's perhaps little wonder that when men do need to make a claim, the payouts end up being more costly as well

Confused's data found that men claimed an average of £3,271 per payout, compared to £3,121 for female drivers

Committing more offences  The genders are relatively even when it comes to getting behind the wheel - around 47% of motorists are female, with fellas making up the rest

However, when it comes to breaking the law on the road, men are dominant.  More than 585,000 drivers were taken to court for various motoring offences in 2017, with almost four in every five (79%) of those drivers being men

Almost a quarter of these cases were men speeding, compared to just 7% of women who were a bit quick off the mark

Men were also five times more likely to be in court on drink driving charges and twice as likely to be caught driving without tax or insurance

And points and convictions on your licence definitely add to the cost of cover. Read More The tricks to cheaper car insurance But what about accidents?  More than 700,000 claims were made last year, most by men

But some things really aren't about how well you drive.  Take theft claims. Twice as many men made claims for theft, but that's really nothing to do with driving ability

On top of that men and women drivers were equal when it came to how likely they were to be at fault for a claim

This is a bit confusing, until you realise that according to Government figures, men drive twice as many miles as women

More time on the road means they are simply more likely to make a claim and see their insurance rise as a result

As for driving tests, Confused's figures show more women failed and fewer passed first time than men

Read More How to lower the cost of driving Get pricing based on you as an individual, not your gender  Because of the way that insurers work out risk, it's somewhat inevitable that your premium will be based in large part on how other drivers like you tend to perform

Younger drivers are a great example of this - there are plenty of very sensible and safe young drivers, but because younger drivers are more likely to be caught up in an accident, they end up paying huge amounts for their cover

According to the AA 's Shoparound index, while drivers aged 17-22 face a typical quote of £1,586, drivers aged 30-39 pay just £557 while those 60-69 pay £405

However, one way you can ensure that you are judged as an individual is to go with a black box car insurance policy

Basically a black box is fitted to your vehicle which tracks the way that you drive

If you show that you are responsible - meaning no speeding or sharp braking - then your premiums will fall

It's made a big difference for younger drivers - MoneySuperMarket reckons that these telematics policies work out around £363

25 cheaper than going for a traditional policy.

Why do new products deserve a place in the store? - Duration: 1:42.

For example, there was one product that we had, a hemp lemonade.

Cold-pressed hemp lemonade,

with a large hemp symbol on the front of the label, that was quite provocative.

Why do new products deserve a place in the store?

Introducing: Clément Tischer about the NX Food Start-up shelf

The Start-up shelf is a dedicated test environment for start-ups,

for young entrepreneurs who are given the opportunity of testing their products in a retail environment,

as we see here.

Some products require a bit more by way of explanation. For that reason,

we offer the opportunity with this shelf to tell the story of both founder

and product.

This also means that through product sampling, as you can see in action right now,

we provide start-ups with the opportunity of introducing their

product to the customer.

For us, it is a wonderful opportunity to get an insight into a major company such as METRO

or REAL. And in addition, the Start-up shelf

also lets us stand out a bit from the other products.

For start-ups, it is always difficult to attract the attention of

the general public. The shelf allows the product to

be a bit more conspicuous. And the people who are interested

stop to look at the product.

There is a platform, NX-FOOD.com, where start-ups can apply.

On this platform, we ask for all relevant details that we need to make a decision.

Then we aggregate all applications and

have a jury for each sales line.

Our programme is unique

because it provides the prospect of validation with a wide range of different target groups.

At REAL, for example, we offer the opportunity of selling to end consumers.

With METRO Cash & Carry, we can also address

professional customers

from the hotel, restaurant and catering industries.

Why do we obey the law? (English) - Duration: 5:31.

Why do we have to obey the law?

Because of force or authority?

All of our actions in a society are regulated by law

It says we cannot jump a red light

It says we cannot kill a person

However, why must we obey the law?

To this question

the most commonplace answer should be that

I would be arrested if I broke the law

The implication of this answer is that

the binding power of a law is based on brute force

A government controls armed forces

like the police and the army

If someone breaks the law

the armed forces will arrest this person

or may even kill them

So, if you are unarmed

you better be a good guy and obey the law

Numerous political philosophers in history have discussed

what law is good and what law is bad

Nevertheless, if the reason for obeying the law

is not that the law is good

but rather that we are not able to fight with the government

then most of the normative discussions about good law

would be unrealistic

After all, as Mao Zedong said

"political power grows out of the barrel of a gun."

What ultimately matters in politics should be force

However

if we do not break the law simply because

we fear the force of a government

does it mean that

we have no reason not to break the law

when the government's force fails?

Imagine, one evening

you are very hungry and walk to the pantry of your hall

You look in the fridge

and find a cake that looks very delicious

You then look around

No one is there, no camera either

Will you steal a piece of cake and eat it?

If you choose not to steal, why?

No one would know if you stole the cake

No one would punish you

This is just a hypothetical example

but it is not unrealistic

Police may occasionally overlook criminals

The close-circuit television camera may break down

If the binding power of the law is based on force

then why do you not become a criminal

when you are able to escape punishment?

Force alone can only make smart criminals

who know how to look for their best chances

It does not make good citizens

who obey the law unconditionally

Moreover

laws all claim that people have

an unconditional obligation to obey them

But if the binding power of the law

is grounded on brute force

can we still say that

we have an unconditional obligation to the law?

For example

suppose that I am robbed by a thief one day

This thief points at me with a knife

and threatens that he would kill me

if I did not pass him my wallet

Do I have an "unconditional obligation"

to pass him my wallet?

According to our moral intuitions

we find it weird to call it an obligation

If someone claims that

we have an obligation in this context

we usually think that the idea of obligation is distorted

Similarly

if someone claims that we are obliged to obey law

because of the brute force behind the law

then he also misinterprets the idea of obligation

The discussion above tells us that

the binding power of the law

cannot be based merely on force

Rather

the binding power of law should be based on authority

which means legitimate power

If the law is legitimate

people will obey it voluntarily and

believe that they have an unconditional obligation to it

Even if a government does not use violence to enforce law

people will still obey law

If the law is grounded on brute force

then people merely have a conditional obligation to obey the law

They have no reason to be a good citizen

when the government overlooks their actions

Therefore

the core question of many political philosophers is:

what is legitimate law that people should obey unconditionally?

For example

in Waiting for the Dawn

Huang Zhongxi claims that the purpose of the law

is not to serve the private interest of a king

but rather to serve the public interest of all people in a society

If a king makes law that

imposes heavy taxation and punishment for his personal enjoyment

he loses the legitimacy of ruling and

people should overthrow this king

An example is King Zhou Wu

overthrowing the tyrannical King Shang-Zhouh

the last emperor of the Shang Dynasty

Huang asserts that in this case

Confucians should abandon their loyalty

and allow the people's revolt

Similarly

the 18th century French philosopher Rousseau asks

in his Social Contract why

if people were born free

are they obliged to obey the law?

Rousseau believes that constitutions are legitimate

only when they pass the legislative process in

a popular assembly in which everyone is equal

The power of the government is regulated by the constitutions

People are ruled by the law

but they are the makers of the law as well

Such law has authority

and people have unconditional obligations to obey it

After the discussions above

let's think

What is the foundation of the law that we are currently obeying?

Apart from the fear of brute force

are there any reasons for us to obey the law?
