Reiss Nelson to Hoffenheim: New Arsenal contract details, loan fee & what still needs to be done - Duration: 3:41.

Arsenal are working hard to strike a deal which will allow Reiss Nelson to move to Hoffenheim before Friday's European transfer deadline

The Bundesliga club are keen on landing the teenage attacker for the season, but there are still details to be concluded before the transfer can go through

Arsenal are willing to let Nelson go, but they will not allow him to leave until he signs a new contract, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season

Football.london understands, however, that negotiations have yet to be concluded with the 18-year-old's representatives

It is understood a new four-year deal, with an option of a fifth, is on the table and close to being signed, but the deal has not yet been finalised and talks will continue on Thursday between both parties to get the final details concluded

Once that contract has been agreed and signed, then Arsenal will give Nelson the green light to leave for Hoffenheim, where he will spend the season in the Bundesliga

Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann has been speaking about the possible arrival of the Arsenal youngster and believes the forward will add some exciting potential to his team, who will be competing in the Champions League this season

"We are interested in Reiss Nelson," Nagelsmann confirmed. "I can say this openly, but the obligation is not yet fixed, there are still things to clarify

If it works, we get a player with a lot of speed, who can do a lot of things.".Arsenal have reached an agreement in principal with Hoffenheim over the move, with the German club set to pay a loan fee of around £400,000 to land Nelson for the season

There is a sense at Arsenal that the youngster will benefit from spending the season working with Nagelsmann as Unai Emery does not yet believe he is ready for a prolonged spell in his first-team at the Emirates

Nelson, who did not take part in Arsenal's training session on Wednesday, has not been involved in any of the three match day squads so far in the Premier League under Emery

But the Spaniard does rate the attacker highly and does not want to lose one of the club's most exciting talents

It looked like a contract extension was imminent for Nelson towards the end of last season, with the player confirming in April that it had all but been agreed

"It is a big achievement to sign for a big club like Arsenal," said Nelson. "So I'm just delighted with the contract and hopeful that I can sign it soon

" But the deal has remained unsigned despite prolonged negotiations, leading to fears that he could walk away from the Emirates for free next season

Arsenal are confident, however, that they will come to an agreement in time for Nelson to finally extend his stay in north London and also seal his season-long move to Hoffenheim

his work was not worth the paper on

it was an untruthful political attack

What could make eye witness testimony more accurate and helpful? - Duration: 2:03.

Margaret Bull Kovera:

What I've been working on in terms of trying to decrease the number of mistaken eyewitness

identifications is to use what is called a double blind lineup procedure when the police

conduct lineups.

Now what does this mean?

Double blind lineup means neither the witness nor the officer conducting the lineup knows

who the suspect is.

A single blind lineup is a lineup in which, it's the traditional lineup, in which the

witness does not know who the suspect is in the lineup.

So that's the single person who's blind.

But the police officer does.

And that's what we see as kind of the default standard for lineups here in the U.S. Ordinarily,

when a witness comes into an eyewitness identification situation, they don't know who the suspect is.

Nobody tells them before they walk into the room, "Oh yeah, by the way, number three -- that's

our suspect."

That doesn't happen.

But what does happen, generally, is that the police officer conducting the lineup, that

person knows who the suspect is.

That non-blind administrator who knows who the suspect is unintentionally sends cues

to the witness about who the suspect is.

So they may do things like tap on the photo of the suspect -- and again, not intentionally,

it's just something that they do.

They might suggest that the witness take another look at that photo when they don't initially

identify it.

And they basically engage in these behaviors that direct the attention of the witness toward

the suspect, and the result of that is you see an increase in the rate of identifications

of suspects.

We don't want an unfair system in which police are impermissibly suggesting to the witness

who to pick, even if they're guilty.

What do conservative voters want? - Duration: 1:55.

The base wants the party to talk about

the issues that matter to them which is

addressing immigration, addressing this

electricity crisis and the cost of

living. They want a party to be

responding to the sorts of things that

they talk about around the dinner table...

Why is our quality of life diminishing?

Why is crime increasing? Why do we feel

alienated from our political institutions?

And something happens in Canberra

they go up there and they talk amongst

themselves and convince themselves that

the rest of the country is wrong and

they're so wrong they're so wrong.

Because they are living in a bubble and

the Australian Conservatives have said we need

to clean up Canberra. We need to remove

this ivory tower that so many of them

live in. That's exactly what needs to

happen and we've got a plan on a program

to do that. But right now we've got a new

prime minister.

You've got Tweedledum and Tweedledee and

respective to major parties and the best

way you can influence whomever forms

government in the future is in the Senate and in

fact that's my goal. [In fact that's my question I mean it looks

to me as a commentator you the two major

parties are on the left and on the hard

left so what is the future of

conservative politics in Australia?] I

think there is a strong future for it. It's

challenging right now because some of

the characters involved you know the

best thing that people can do who are

concerned about the direction of the

country is to actually vest they're vote

wisely in the Senate. That means don't

vote for Liberal, don't vote for Labor...

certainly don't vote for the Greens. And

then you know choose a practical and

sensible and consistent party. Now I

would advocate that it should be the

Australian Conservatives because we are

consistent we know what we stand for we

have a values proposition that reflects

everything that I've just talked about

and we can shape any policy outcome

given enough senators up there. So if we

can get five or six senators elected

over the course of the next election

cycle or two we will be a force for good

and a force for every Australian and to

reflect mainstream values.

Mingyur Rinpoche – What is the Mind? - Duration: 3:55.

All meditation depends on the mind.

What is the mind, how does it work?

What Is The Mind?

The mind is thinking, feeling.

So, what is the mind?

Who is asking what the mind is?

The mind is asking.

So, normally we say that the mind is like the boss.

Now you're watching this video, because the mind says, "Watch this video!"

And you're watching it.

Now you think, "Oh I agree, oh I don't agree, it's easy, it's complicated."

Who says all of this?

The mind.

And when you turn off this video, it's the mind that turns it off.

So the mind guides us.

Whatever we see, whatever we experience,

our mind is judging.

Based on your past experiences, based on your beliefs,

based on whatever you've studied,

you judge,

"This is good, this is bad, this is right, this is wrong."

And after you judge, you experience.

For example, panic is fear.

A great source of suffering.

But if you really welcome the panic,

like how I made my panic my friend,

then after some time, you don't feel that panic is a bad thing.

I feel like it's exciting,

and watching the panic helped me to connect with my awareness.

So the feeling became kind of positive.

Normally in our life,

positive or negative, suffering or happiness,

it's all about our mental state.

Normally I joke about this.

Some people want to go to the gym,

and they're fighting for a parking space.

If they cannot find a parking space next door to the gym,

and they have to park far away from the gym,

then they complain.

Each step is suffering.

"Today I have such bad luck, this bad guy took my space."

And then they go to the gym,

and what do they do when they go to the gym?

They're running on the machine.

And now, each step is happiness.

"This is good, I've spent a lot of money on the gym, I will burn calories and lose fat,

and it's good for my lungs and skin!"

Walking is the same!

Outside walking becomes a cause of suffering,

and walking on the machine a cause of happiness.

This is how our mind makes the world.

So some people say I don't believe all this,

the mind is just chemicals or neurons and these things.

So if there is something wrong with the chemicals,

then I will take medicine to fix it.

What should we say to this?

Many scientists nowadays do research,

and of course you can take medicine.

And in the meditative tradition we believe that the body and mind support each other.

The body is like a horse, and the mind is like the rider.

So taking medication helps.

But if you have problems and you take medication,

it serves us only temporarily.

The problem will come back again.

But if you really work with your mind, and meditate,

and your mental problems are cured by this,

then they will never come back.

The cure lasts long, it's a real cure.

Denuclearization talks stall as North Korea goes strong on what U.S. can offer - Duration: 2:29.

Amid stalled nuclear talks between the U.S. and North Korea... we have more on that letter

North Korea has sent to the U.S.,... in which,... the regime asked Washington to bring something

to the table.... if it wants to talk in Pyongyang.

The U.S., meanwhile, has renewed its ban on Americans traveling to the North.

Lee Ji-won starts us off.

It appears U.S. President Donald Trump didn't have a choice but to call off his Secretary

of State's fourth visit to Pyongyang as Washington had "nothing to offer" the regime.

Citing an unnamed government official, Reuters reported Thursday what was in the secret letter

Kim Yong-chol, vice chairman of North Korea's Workers' Party's central committee, sent to

the U.S.

It said "Mike Pompeo should not come to Pyongyang, if the U.S. has nothing to offer."

The regime has been asking the U.S. to declare an end to the Korean War, while the Trump

administration has been pushing Pyongyang for a inventory of its nuclear and missile

programs and other military assets.

The official added that the North Koreans seem to be thinking the U.S. is not fulfilling

its side of the bargain,... which appears to back up a report by U.S.-based media outlet

Vox, which said President Trump promised North Korean leader Kim Jong-un a peace treaty sometime

soon after their summit in June.

But the Trump administration continues to insist denuclearization has to take place

before anything else.

Amid concerns over the stalemate, the U.S. remains firm on its restrictions on the regime.

The U.S. State Department has extended its ban on Americans' travel to North Korea for

another year,... until August 31st 2019.

It cited concerns about the threat of arrest.

U.S. law stipulates that travel restrictions on Americans may be imposed if "there is imminent

danger to the public health or physical safety of U.S. travelers in the country or area."

But it's known that "individuals who wish to travel to or within North Korea for extremely

limited purposes," and whose travel is in the U.S. national interest, can apply for

a "special validation" from the State Department.

There will also be exceptions if the trip is justified by "compelling humanitarian considerations."

The ban was imposed in September last year after the death of American student Otto Warmbier,

who was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor by the North after allegedly trying to steal

a propaganda sign.

on July 10th after expanding cracks in a

rock buttress were detected it is

unknown how long the closure will be in

effect geologists are monitoring the

buttress for movement and have initiated

a risk assessment for the area Grand

Teton does not sit directly above

Yellowstone's magma chambers but the

whole area is susceptible to ground

movement due to geological activity so

cracks are not unusual

while the fissure is likely the result

of normal seismic activity in the area

any movement relating to Yellowstone

prompts concern over what could be the

most catastrophic eruption of all time

the US Geological Survey USGS has a

color-coded alert level for all its

volcanoes ranging from green normal to

red eruption imminent were underway

Yellowstone is at green level so there

is no cause for concern

however the volcano is certainly not

extinct and continues to put on an

impressive display of activity the

Steamboat Geezer has entered a period of

frequent massive water eruptions but

these have no implications for future

volcanic eruptions and in June 2018

alone 76 earthquakes were detected in

the Yellowstone National Park region

every year the Yellowstone Caldera a

large cauldron like hollow subsides a

few centimeters a pattern that began in

2015 while the supervolcano hasn't seen

an active eruption in 664 thousand years

scientists consider it worth monitoring

constantly a supervolcano is thousands

of times more powerful than a regular

volcano and could result in changes felt

across the globe while the chances of

this happening are very low in 2014 a

team of

tests publishes a paper exploring what a

Yellowstone super-eruption might look

like in the hypothetical report the

scientists found the eruption would be

preceded by massive unmissable warning

signs nASA has released

out-of-this-world images showing views

of US national parks from space intense

seismic activity would be felt across

the whole park with the earthquakes

taking weeks or months to break up the

rocks above the magma when the eruption

finally came it would be 1,000 times

more powerful than a regular volcanic

eruption the volcano would eject at

least 240 cubic miles of material and

lava wouldn't be the problem a

pyroclastic flow would cause volcanic

ash to be ejected miles into the air and

scattered across the whole of the United

States Yellowstone volcano eruption this

could conceivably bury the Northern

Rockies in 3 feet of ash and devastate

the states of Wyoming Idaho Colorado

Montana and Utah the Midwest and both

coasts would get a few inches of ash

this amount of ash would be devastating

it could kill people plants animals

crush buildings and flatten cities even

outlying areas would feel the impact

with farms destroyed roads and sewers

blocked and respiratory problems

aggravated Yellowstone volcano eruption

a volcanic eruption that big would also

have major effects on the global climate

volcanoes can emit sulfur aerosols that

reflect sunlight back into the

atmosphere cool the climate don't worry

too much though however despite fears

and eruption could be imminent the

apocalypse is not upon us

the USGS says the odds of Yellowstone

erupting are 0.0001 4% lower than the

odds of getting hit by a civilization

destroying asteroid in fact some say

that the supervolcano may never erupt

again

Where do Status Transportation trucks go and what do they pay? - Duration: 2:25.

Hi, I'm James Gibson I'm from Oxford Alabama. I've been driving for now for about 12 in

a half years, I started when my youngest son was first born and I've been with Status Transportation

now for about a year and a half.

All the way up to now I've had consistent loads. Consistent loads I'm telling you no

downtime unless you want that downtime but other than that, Status Transportation does

a great job in keeping me moving for this whole year and a half that I've been here.

I pull a lot of Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas, every once in a while

we'll bump up into Oklahoma around Tulsa area and bring loads back from over there. Dallas,

Houston, right here in the South is the furthest I go.

Nelson does a pretty good job running me on a triangular effect, to give me what I need

to go and back home for the weekend.

I don't have a specific load that I get. If it pays good then I'm open for it. Nelson

does a good job finding good loads. He looks for loads that pay $2 a mile or more. Anything

under that, he pretty much doesn't touch.

He'll call me, and asked me what do I think about it, and if there's something I want

to take. Then he will go and see if we can negotiate a better price for it. He just goes

out of his way to get the best price he can. He makes sure all his drivers are happy.

If you are looking for a good company, and there are plenty of good companies out there,

Status Transportation stands out. They are way ahead of all the others. The people that

here, they are the key point to a lot of it.

If you feel like you want to be somewhere Status Transportation will get you there.

If you're looking for a certain income that you need to have, Status Transportation will

put you in that price range where you need to be.

They make sure they have the income to keep your bills and stuff paid and be home for

family time.

It's up to you on the decision you want to make but I I think you'll be really satisfied

if you come to Status Transportation.

My dispatcher Nelson does a great job. I mean, I can't say enough about the guy.

So if you interested look, them up. Check them out and see if this is something that

you might like.

What Causes TMJ (or TMD)? And Treatments for Pain Relief From TMJ Dentist (Arkansas) - Duration: 4:32.

Hi, I'm Dr. Derrick Johnson, and I wanted to talk to you a little bit today about TMJ.

TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint, and so that is this part of your anatomy.

It's basically your jaw joint hinge.

Sometimes you'll hear the term TMD, which is temporomandibular dysfunction or disorder.

But anyway, that's the topic today, and it's actually a pretty big topic, and the reason

I say that is this is the most used joint in your body, and if you look at, basically,

what does your head do, it only one mechanical function.

It opens and closes and moves the jaw.

So, all of your ... the major muscles of your head actually tie into movement of this joint.

And I want to show you, this is a piece of software.

It's really helpful.

It's called BiteFX.

But, as far as illustrating how the jaw works, what we have here ... Here's the actual joint

itself, and here's all the muscles that come together to move the jaw.

And what we want in health, we want this system to be in harmony and coordinated, and what

that means is when this joint fits with the disc, there's a disc in place, when the joint

fits, all the teeth fit, and your nervous system and the muscles, they like that when

things fit.

I'll often use the analogy of a door.

A door's another hinged system.

So, here's a door that, it fits very well, so it's very effortless to open and close

this door.

Hardly any effort, but you could imagine if that door was off the hinge, and imagine if

I had to open it every single time, it would take a lot of energy and a lot of muscle activity.

So basically, when this jaw joint is off the hinge, and it's not lining up with the teeth,

your body does this self-protective response, just like opening the door off the hinge.

The muscles are all tense all the time trying to coordinate the jaw joint.

And the problem with that is it can cause a lot of damage.

It can cause sore muscles, it can cause headaches, it can cause actual damage and deterioration

of the joint, joint noises.

It can cause ear pain.

It very, very typically causes tooth wear, breaking of teeth, tooth loss, root canals.

There's so many things that can be traced back this system being out of whack or out

of order.

And so, that's the basic idea of how we treat this.

So, if you're suffering from headaches, clenching your teeth, a history of broken teeth, multiple

root canals, worn teeth.

Sometimes there is like a ringing in the ear or a fullness in the ear can be one of the

symptoms as well.

A lot of times there's neck pain associated, like neck and TMJ pain very much go hand in

hand.

A lot of times a history of a car accident or whiplash injuries almost always affect

the TMJ to some extent.

So, those are some ways that it shows up, but one of the first things that we want to

do is evaluate that system, and here we can take a look at it again.

We want to know when the joints are in place, are the teeth in alignment?

And another tool we use to figure that out is we have something called an articulator,

so we could actually build a replica of how your jaw works, and we can see okay, what

are your joints and teeth doing?

Are they in harmony?

Are they out of harmony?

We can start to see wear patterns on the teeth and kind of do the detective work to figure

out what's the root cause of the problem?

So essentially, what the fix is is there's techniques where we can get the system back

in harmony, and the sooner that we do that when there's signs of a problem, the sooner

that we can do it, the more effective, easier, less expensive the solutions are.

So anyway, that's a little bit about TMJ.

If you were late to any of these things, come see me and we can talk about it more in detail.

All right.

Mingyur Rinpoche – What is a Buddha? - Duration: 1:12.

What is a Buddha?

What is the meaning of enlightenment?

What is a Buddha?

At first, Buddha was like us.

A regular person.

Full of confusion and suffering.

But Buddha began to recognize his true nature,

what we call "Buddha nature."

We believe it is the essence of all of us,

it's pure, free, already enlightened.

But we need to recognize it.

So Buddha recognized it, through awareness and compassion and wisdom.

So when you fully recognize your innate goodness,

then all of the enlightened qualities can manifest.

Boundless wisdom, boundless love and compassion, boundless enlightened activities.

Then, that is what we call a Buddha, and that state is what we call enlightenment.
