They have too much birthdays. And they grow up higher, and higher, until they're dead.

You basically celebrate your birth like one year later after your birth and stuff.

So you know that you're getting older and older

after the days, seconds, months, hours, years!

The REAL Reason Why The Lakers Are LOSING Without LeBron (Ft. Lonzo Ball & Bad Ingram NBA Shots) - Duration: 5:12.

The Lakers are 1-5 without LeBron and they have been a mess.

I mean how…

So it's time to breakdown the Lakers and their problems.

What is up dudes, dudettes, ballers, players.

It's ya boi MJ.

I'm gonna be at CES tomorrow with Monster, shoutout to them for hooking your boy up so

that's why the video came out today.

I've been wanting to breakdown the Lakers without LeBron for a while so hit that like

button for the amount of free throws the Lakers have missed, 3125.

And let's get into it.

So when LeBron has been playing, he's adjusted and kinda figured out how to let the young

players play.

He lets them do their own thing for 3 quarters and drives it home in the 4th.

I'm not saying LeBron isn't doing anything in those 3 quarters, he's just picking and

choosing his moments and to his credit, that has worked out well.

LeBron leads the league in 4th quarter points per game.

So without LeBron you would expect things to change and players to step up, but instead

I introduce you to the Slenderman, Brandon Ingram.

Brandon Ingram has just disappointed me.

Whatever work he put in the offseason doesn't make any sense.

He worked on his post fadeaway without bettering his three or getting bigger.

On top of that, Ingram continues to take extremely difficult shots and iso even though the team

would benefit from getting better looks.

Now I understand LeBron and Kuzma were out which takes away a lot of scoring options,

but Brandon Ingram needs to play better than what he's done.

He had 21 points on 21 shots.

Now when he makes those tough shots, everything looks great and when he doesn't, he looks

horrible.

And without LeBron, Rondo, or Kuzma, other players defer to him.

We've seen Lonzo Ball become more aggressive, but once again he's deferring to Brandon

Ingram and Ingram is shooting 42% from the field and 23% from 3 in the past 6 games and

still taking 17 shots a game.

Your shot selection can be bad but you have to be able to still score.

You can't consistently have bad shot selection and not score.

Lonzo has had some good games.

His increased numbers are a result of more usage, but it shows that he has gotten better

from last year.

Still, his mentality isn't in the right place.

James Worthy said it the best.

It doesn't seem like Lonzo is really playing with passion.

I'm not talking about showing emotion, I'm talking about showing passion through his

play.

This was a time for him to take charge and step up, but instead he's deferring to Brandon

Ingram who is isoing and stopping ball movement which hurts the team as a whole.

The Lakers offensive rating has dropped by 8 while their defense is about the same.

I was talking to BSOLZ and he and I agreed on the Lakers lack of ability to close.

Of the 6 games, the only game they won was the only game they outscored their opponent

in the 4th quarter.

They've had a net -24.3 rating in their games in the 4th quarter without LeBron and

a -2.3 rating with LeBron.

In their 5 losses, the Lakers were sticking with every team except the Timberwolves, but

lose the game in the 4th quarter.

Now why is that?

Why can't the Lakers close without LeBron?

Maybe it's this.

Well obviously, LeBron is an all-time great so you can't just replace him.

But the main thing with the Lakers is that they have to slow down the game in the last

couple of minutes.

The Lakers are young and love to run it on fastbreaks.

They are at their best in transition.

Players like Lonzo really shine there, but as the game slows down into a half-court offense,

the Lakers only got two good reliable options, LeBron and Kuzma.

So without LeBron, people like Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram have to step up to fill the

void, but that hasn't happened.

And you get what happened against the Knicks where their inability to score caused them

defeat.

Now the Lakers are in a hard month schedule wise and without LeBron, the Lakers are losing

ground in standings.

Too many games like this and it might be hard to even push for the playoffs.

Almost all these problems will be solved when LeBron comes back, but the mentality of players

like Ingram and Lonzo is really just sad and disappointing, especially when those two are

supposed to be the ones hungry and learning.

I thought this would be the time for players to develop and prove themselves, but obviously

their chemistry and gameplan isn't right.

There's just been a lot of standing around.

They lost to the Knicks.

The Knicks!

But what do you think?

Can the Lakers turn it around without LeBron?

Drop a like for slenderman.

I'ma be at CES so if you're there, check out Monster.

Top 10 Reasons Why Japanese Are So Thin According to Science - Duration: 12:14.

Most Western countries have an obesity epidemic these days, especially countries like the

US and the UK.

With large amounts of the populations struggling with their weight, we have to wonder how countries

like Japan stay as fit and healthy as they do.

With the longest life expectancy in the world, the Japanese must be doing something right.

So let's look at the top 10 reasons why the Japanese keep so thin.

The Japanese Have Healthier Fast Food

When it comes to obesity epidemics, one of the main culprits is the fast food chain.

This is especially true in America where fast food is probably more accessible than fresh

ingredients.

With so many fried foods that are laden with fat and salt, it's no wonder that obesity

is such a problem in so many Western countries.

Of course, it would be ridiculous to think that the Japanese population doesn't enjoy

fast food.

The Japanese, like most of us in the modern world, struggle to find time for things like

home cooking, too.

There are thousands of Japanese fast food joints that are frequented on a daily basis

all over the country.

However, one thing that you will find is that in the fast food joints in Japan, the food

on offer is generally a lot healthier and far less calorific.

For example, when serving a burger, some locations offer a rice cake instead of a burger bun.

A lot of the Japanese fast food places also offer a lot of soups and Ramen noodle dishes

too, which are a great alternative to fried options like french fries.

In short, these fast food options tend to be lower in calories and not chock full of

substitutes, saturated fat and other additives, all of which can really mess up your metabolism

and make you pile on the weight.

Eating On Time in Japan

With modern life being so hectic, it's actually really hard to find the time to sit down for

a meal at a specific time.

Life is always throwing curve balls and it's really difficult to know what you're doing

from one day to the next, never mind scheduling in regular meal times.

However, something that the Japanese do could be the secret to their success.

For the majority of the Japanese households, mealtimes are set and everyone in the home

will eat at the same time.

They have three meals a day.

As a rough rule, breakfast will be eaten between 8am and 9am, lunch is served between 12pm

and 1pm and dinner is usually between 6pm and 8pm.

The good thing about this is that the body gets used to these regular meal times and

it really helps the metabolism.

If you're struggling to maintain a slimmer figure, then the times at which you eat your

meals could actually be making a huge difference.

Try to have three solid meals a day that are eaten at the same time every day.

You may notice that your body starts to adjust and that you are not hungry until your next

meal is actually due.

It really could make maintaining a healthier body much easier.

In Japan They Are Careful With Their Portion Sizes

When watching American cooking shows, one thing that we can all agree on is that in

most cases, the portion sizes are often astronomical.

This is true of dishes in the United Kingdom, too.

American fast food joints are probably the worst culprits with banquet style portions

for just one person.

The trouble is that when we can see all of this delicious food in front of us, we will

want to eat it, whether we are full or not.

In Japan, the portion sizes are much, much smaller.

They even have a saying "hara hachi buchi me", which roughly means, eat until you're

8/10ths full.

This way of eating allows them to get the fuel that they need for the day without eating

for the sake of eating.

When plating up home cooked food, a lot of us will end up piling food high and stacking

different foods on top of each other just to get a bigger portion.

However, by simply eating a bit less and a bit slower, you are able to feel much more

satisfied with your meal.

Many people find that using a smaller plate can help, too - which is perhaps why the Japanese

use several plates to serve one meal.

Japanese Dinnerware Makes a Difference

When it comes to fast food, the majority of us will simply eat with our hands, especially

if the dish is something simple like burgers and fries.

Other dishes simply require a knife and fork.

The problem with this is that eating at high speed is very easy.

This can be especially tempting if you're in a rush and need to get a meal in your stomach

as quickly as possible.

However, this is bad for the metabolism and also a recipe for indigestion.

When we eat at a high speed we tend to feel fuller quicker, but it doesn't last as long

as it should.

One thing that you will notice about the Japanese is that they eat most of their meals with

chopsticks.

This makes eating at a high speed more difficult, which is great because it means that you are

fuller for longer and your food is digested properly.

Another thing that the Japanese tend to do is to serve their food on multiple plates

which also slows down the eating process.

By slowing down the speed that you eat at, you will find that you feel a lot more satisfied

after a meal, and that you're not hungry until it is time to consume your next meal.

Taking your time and eating thoughtfully can go a long way to a healthier metabolism!

The Japanese Drink a Lot of Tea

I know what you might be thinking, how on earth does drinking tea affect your metabolism

in a positive way?

Well, super sweetened iced tea is not the tea we're talking about!

The Japanese drink a lot of green tea.

If you have looked into drinking green tea before, then you will already be well aware

of the fact that there are plenty of health benefits that come with doing so.

For example, if you struggle with stress and anxiety, then studies have shown that drinking

green tea may reduce those symptoms.

Green tea could also help with insomnia, cardiovascular problems and even cholesterol levels.

However, one of the biggest benefits of green tea is that it is great for weight loss and

metabolism.

The Japanese drink huge amounts of green tea, which is perhaps another reason why they seem

to have healthy metabolisms.

The Japanese Diet is a Little Different

Another thing that you might have noticed about Japanese cuisine is the fact that it

is a little different to what we would eat on a day to day basis.

While the majority of us enjoy fried foods and lots of carbs, the Japanese follow a different

diet.

Their diets tend to be high in carbs but very low in fat.

They eat a lot of vegetables and lean meats, accompanied by fish and grains.

What makes their diet so healthy is the fact that it is very low in saturated fat.

With most people in Western countries, diets are high in carbs, high in fat and high in

salt, which does very little for the metabolism and a lot for the waist line unfortunately.

Following a Japanese diet could actually be the key to a healthier metabolism.

If you're struggling with traditional Western eating methods, then perhaps a Japanese diet

is the key to your success!

Snacking in Japan

While snacking was once somewhat uncommon, today there is a big snacking culture in Japan.

There are also some big differences to the snacks consumed in the West.

Japanese consumers are demanding when it comes to creativity, and the multitude of snack

products are a reflection of that creativity.

While there may be plenty of vending machines ready to dish out a variety of the odd and

satisfying quick food fix, there are also plenty of healthy options.

One of the main reasons why a lot of Western countries suffer problems with obesity is

because of the amount of snacks that we consume.

Snacks such as chips, dips and candy are full of saturated fats, salt and sugar.

As well as this, the calories that they contain are shocking.

While some of today's Japanese snacks may not be that different, moderation is still

key.

With a country always looking to be more health conscious, healthy snacks are an available

option.

So while we may find ourselves chomping down on a bag of salty chips and a Mars bar, the

Japanese are not necessarily enjoying a rice cake and a cup of green tea, but maybe their

healthier outlook on snacks is one of the reasons why they they are able to keep so

fit.

The Japanese View Eating Differently

For most of us, a typical meal time consists of sitting in front of the television with

our food on our laps and eating our food fast while binging on TV shows.

As you can imagine, this is not exactly healthy, nor is it good for the metabolism or the digestion

of our food.

With everyone and his dog owning a smartphone, this is another distraction that a lot of

us will partake in when we're eating our food.

The Japanese have a different view regarding eating.

Their food and mealtimes are treated with the utmost respect.

They tend to not have distractions around them when they are eating and are very mindful

about their food and enjoying it properly.

This is far better for digestion and the metabolism.

If you're looking for a healthier lifestyle, then it can't hurt to remove all distractions

when you're eating and really think about enjoying your food and eating slowly.

It really could make all the difference.

The Japanese Eat a Lot of Fish

When thinking about Japanese cuisine, there is one thing that will spring to mind for

most of us, and that is sushi.

It's an international phenomenon!

In the US and UK there are thousands of sushi restaurants to choose from.

However, the Japanese don't eat sushi nearly as often as they do seafood in general.

If you have looked into the benefits of seafood yourself, then you will know that one of the

biggest advantages is that it is very lean, especially when you compare it with other

meats like steak and chicken.

It's also very good for overall health - like the fatty acids found in fish, which are great

for your brain.

There are many Japanese seafood dishes that have become popular worldwide, but if you

want to start with the basics, then sushi is a great option to consider.

One of the reasons why fish is so big in Japan is because Japan is composed of a group of

islands, so fish is easily accessible.

As well as sushi being a staple of the diet for most Japanese people, they also tend to

eat a lot of pickled and fermented fish.

This may not be to everyone's tastes, but who knows - maybe it's an acquired taste!

Eating a Variety of Land and Sea Vegetables in Japan

When taking a look at a traditional Japanese diet, one of the things that you will notice

is that they consume a large number of both land and sea vegetables.

When we think of vegetables, most of us will think of typical things such as potato s,

green beans or kale, in terms of greens that are very good for you.

However, the Japanese take it a step further by adding things like seaweed to their diets.

This might not sound all that important, but the simple fact is that seaweed actually has

a number of potential health benefits, including reducing blood pressure and helping with weight

loss.

Seaweed is bursting with vitamins and minerals!

The majority of traditional Japanese dishes will consist of a number of different land

and sea vegetables, which is definitely one of the reasons why the Japanese seem to have

such healthy metabolisms and long lifespans.

Why We Sufffer - Duration: 6:26.

- In the early days of my teaching,

I was referred to a lot of people

that had a lot of post traumatic stress syndrome,

a lot of women who were physically and emotionally abused.

And so, this was the population that I got my start with.

However, as the last 30 years have evolved,

I don't know of too many people that have come through,

and there's been thousands that

have come through these programs

that haven't had some kind of dysfunctional interaction

in the world based on their internal programming.

So, when we don't operate from understanding

what we call the fear state in our body, what can happen is

we tend to make up in our minds

consequences that aren't real.

And based on what we see in our head about the consequences,

it can literally stop us from going for something

that's been presented to us to make us grow.

Life will come at you, and the curriculum of life

is intended, in my experience, to make you grow.

And quote, the bad things that happen that we call traumatic

or tragedies, they're not punishments.

It's just life coming at you

for one reason and one reason only

to make you grow as a human being,

to get you more in touch with the spiritual nature,

what I call the Warrior Spirit.

And sometimes, these traumatic events

in our life as it comes at you don't feel good.

We prefer to have only the pleasurable things that happen.

However, the traumatic things that happen

can only be a slingshot to catapult you forward.

I'd ask you if you've ever had a situation in your life?

And I know you a little bit, you know,

and I know the answer to this but I'll ask you anyhow,

have you had a situation in your life

that you prefer that it didn't happen?

A tragedy, a loss of a loved one, or a health situation.

And yet, if you've gotten past it,

if I ask you the same question,

because of that, are you more compassionate,

are you more wise because of that,

quote, bad thing that happened.

And 99.9% of the people always answer,

yes, because of that thing that happened, I grew.

So, if that is so, can we not

in the middle of life challenges and confrontations,

without awareness, not so much

for the reason of getting rid of the bad feeling,

the bad feeling is only a result

of the wrong thinking about that situation.

If in the middle of any kind of confrontational situation

in you life, you had the awareness

that this is gonna make me grow,

and even though I'm feeling the contraction

in my heart and in my stomach and in my throat,

that I usually feel when I'm confronted like this,

this is the catalyst for my growth,

and it's all gonna be okay.

In fact, OK, the term comes from an old great term, Ola Kala

and it means it's all beautiful.

It's a signal of a circle with three,

and that's where OK comes from.

It's a running joke at the leap of faith,

I just got Ola Kala, just gotta go through it.

However, the only way to grow is

you've got to take the step.

You can't think your way through growth.

You're in a physically body, you're confronted by life,

you must do something physically,

it's often emotionally laden,

and there's a lot of stories that go with it.

What the leap of faith does essentially is it looks

at these stories to see if they're healthy or not.

It's not about changing the programming.

It's about using the programming system

in our bodies for a healthier outcome,

so you're awake and you're conscious

of why you make the decisions you make

which gives you a position in life

where if you know you got a choice,

you can make a different choice.

'Cause the choices you make dictate the reality

that you live, that's the bottom line.

And suffering doesn't come from the events in your life.

It doesn't from the people that you wish would change.

The suffering comes from your perception

of those events, of the people in your life.

It's how you look at them.

Determines whether you contract in suffering,

whether you become, what I call self-victimized

by the circumstances in your life,

and that's where the term,

the victim of circumstance comes from.

Why do some people take the same circumstances

and it feeds them and they grow

and they do spectacular things?

That's where the Mahatma Gandhis,

and the Martin Luther Kings, and the Nelson Mandelas,

and the Mother Teresas all source that place.

Tremendous challenge in their lives,

tremendous confrontation, they all felt fear in their bodies

but they did something different, they took the next step.

They all took an act of courage.

It's the same thing when you take an act of faith.

Faith, it's gotten a misperception to some degree

of being a religious confrontation, and it's not.

Faith is knowing, it's absolutely knowing

beyond the five senses, beyond sight,

beyond anything you've learned, beyond anything academic,

it's knowing that by taking the next step,

you are fulfilling something that your own soul says,

this will make me grow, that's what faith is.

It's a knowing that if I go forward,

Ola Kala, it's all gonna be okay.

Not taking action, hesitating, is where the suffering is.

See, I was told one time that,

by a dear friend of mine who took this program that

the gates of hell are locked from the inside.

And this helps people have a key to unlock that door.

And the thing about that is that you can be outside,

wake up the next morning, and all of a sudden you're back

in the prison, you don't remember how you got there.

But when it's an internal programming inside of you

that when you feel that feeling,

you automatically make a different choice,

you get a different outcome.
