[MUSIC PLAYING] When things break down in your home, do you know how to fix them or

who to call?

Homeowners across the country run into home repair emergencies every day without a home

repair plan in place.

When things break down naturally over time, most homeowners don't know what's covered

by their insurance or what they are responsible for.

For example, homeowners are typically responsible for wires carrying electricity to outlets,

fixtures, and appliances; pipes that move fresh water and sewage out; and all heating

and cooling systems, including gas lines and water heaters.

Home repair emergencies often occur without warning.

Being prepared with an affordable repair plan from HomeServe can help avoid the frustration

of urgently locating contractors, juggling multiple bids, and finding the best price.

Here's how it works.

Choose from HomeServe's plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling repair plan options.

When a breakdown happens, call our 24/7 hotline, and we'll send over a local, licensed, insured

TRAVELING WITH CROCHET BRAIDS| WHAT TO BRING!| LIA LAVON - Duration: 9:51.

Hey YouTube family! It' ya girl Lia back again with another

video. And today's video as you can see from the title is just my top 10 items

that I feel like you need to bring with you when traveling with crocheting hair.

Now I recently got back from vacation. When I mean recently literally yesterday I came

back from vacation and I was like I need to share with people what I brought and

some items that I forgot to bring that I should have brought so that everybody is

well prepared when they go traveling with their crochet hair. Now you guys

know I'm two years deep in the crochet hair game and I got crochet hair

originally for a cruise that I was going on two years ago. And then poof Lia

Lavon the channel began. So I'm all about traveling with crochet hair. I'm all about

crochet hair for protective styling and also the ease of it during vacation.

So these items and I have them in no particular order because I feel like you

need to bring them all. And I have and my little travel tote that I bring with me

specifically for hair and makeup. l put all my hair and makeup stuff in this tote.

My clothes are in my other bag and I'm ready to go. The first item shampoo.

Shampoo, shampoo, shampoo specifically because if you're getting near water. Now

if you're not getting near water you're not doing anything active like that then

you may not need shampoo cause you may not even need to wash your hair. But if

you're like me I went to the mountains but I didn't want to get in the pool so

I knew to bring my shampoo. These aren't my two favs. These are just two I've been

using recently. Shampoo for getting down into your hair. After you get your hair

wet and you get in chlorine or ocean water.

I think chlorine is a lot harsher than sea water. A lot of people ask me is lake

water different like than chlorine water. Chlorine waters a lot harsher to your

hair than just regular old ocean water. But

you need to get that chlorine out of your hair. Just like you would with

anything. If you're putting your hair up and you're not really touching the water

then fine. But if you're really doing some active active swimming out there.

You're getting your hair drenched in water you're gonna need to shampoo that

chlorine out because you don't want your real hair affected. Now it may not have

a harsh side effect on your actual crochet hair but you really need to be

careful with your real hair with your styles. So I'd say shampoo one of the

top things. If you need to see how I wash my crochet hair I'll link up above my

wash day routine video. That holds true for any crochet hair that I have. A lot

people are like do you wash your hair the same way if you have a Mane Concept

beach curl in. If you wash it the same if you have the Freetress Water Wave. The FreeTress

beach curl. All these hairs. That wash day routine is a universal it works for all

hairs. Now that leads me into the next thing conditioner. Now this is not a

conditioner that I would use on my crochet hair. I actually take little

packs of conditioner with me. So you know in your stores they're like a dollar

ninety-nine probably not cost-effective at all but the little pouches of

conditioner. That's what I typically take with me but this is what I use on my

actual hair it's a deep conditioner. But this is just a signify that you need to

take a conditioner with you as well. So after you shampoo the hair rinse it out

and when I say shampoo the hair I mean shampoo your real hair. So get up in

there. Like I say check out my wash day routine video to get an idea. Just apply

the conditioner rinse it out as you would with any kind of conditioner

product that you use on your real hair. And like I say I have no particular

favorite conditioner. I have no particular favorite shampoo. Just what

you like to use on your real hair is what you would use on your real hair

while it's up under the crochet braids. Now the next product I would bring is of

course my blow-dryer. Now a lot of rooms have blow dryers. When I went on my

cruise the room actually had a blow dryer in there. This room that I was in

recently did not have a blow dryer in there. A lot of times you guys ask me

do I blow dry the crochet hair or do I blow dry my real hair. What I'm doing is

focusing the heat on my actual hair. So I'm like really getting up in the top. I

don't care about this hair. Not to say I don't care about it but I'm okay with

letting it air dry for the most part. A lot of times it just doesn't require

putting you know taking your time. If you're really about fast then yes. But my

crochet hair and I don't know about you guys mine dries very very fast. My

real hair because of the porosity of my hair it takes a long time to dry so I

need to speed up that process and so really blow drying it and it doesn't

take that long. Especially because it's braided up under just blow drying it so

it doesn't have a kind of mildewy type smell. You guys know that smell.

You just want to make sure that your hair not walking around smelling like

some kind of mold mildew type situation. Now the next product that you would need

is mousse or a lot of times people don't like using mousse some people like

leave-in conditioner. Either it's fine. If you're a mousse person or a leave-in

conditioner person once your hair has dried make sure you're going through and detangling

the hair. Detangling after getting your hair wet is key. It's crucial. Your hair

will become a hot matted mess. I cannot stress that enough. You need to be

proactive with detangling your hair after you get it wet. Now a lot of times

if you're on a cruise and I'm gonna use cruise specifically because sometimes

you're off the ship for a while. You get off the ship when it docks at like 9

a.m. and then you're not getting back on the ship maybe not till like 5 p.m.. You

know sometimes they have about an eight-hour window. So you might get your

hair wet and then you're walking around your hairs kind of drying as you're out

in that hot sun. As soon as you get back to the ship shampoo, wash, and then

detangle. Your hair can go from zero to 100 if you do not detangle the hair. You

don't have to do a rigorous routine. You just kind of have to go. I detangled this

hair after i got it wet. I did wet this hair. If you guys want to know my

opinion on this hair. Whether I think it's water friendly and all that check

out my video. I do have some interesting thoughts on this hair. This is the

Trendy Tresses River Curls hair. But after I got this hair wet I went to the

pool two times while I was in the mountains. And each time I definitely took my time

with detangling it because I knew I had to wear this hair out for a couple more

days. So make sure you're detangling it. Next you want to use your braid sheen

spray. I know in a lot of my videos I hold up my BRX braid sheen spray. That is

to restore the luster that your hair has lost. A lot of times the chlorine will

strip a lot of the way the hair looks. The hair can look very dull once you get

out of the water and after you've gone through the washing, the conditioning,

the blow-drying, the whole process of the hair. The moussing. The leave-in

conditioner. You want to kind of sheen the spray up. Give it a little bit more

luster. Now I don't know where I put my braids sheen spray. I took it with me and

I literally almost believe that I may have left it there. But this is just what

I use when as back up. It's kind of a bundle weave argon oil. It's made

specifically for synthetic hair. I got it from just a random beauty supply store.

And you just want to use this to kind of restore some sheen to your hair because

your hair does lose a lot of luster. Now the next thing is something I should

have brought on my trip I did not bring however. And it's like a little head wrap.

So you know the things that kind of go around your head like this

and you go like this and they go up like this. I should have brought a couple of

these because as soon as you get out the water and your hair is starting to dry

on its own. So if you're on excursion if you're out somewhere your hair

is starting to dry on your own. If you have edges like me where the edges are out. My

edges are completely. Not completely out but they're not as braided down as the

rest of my hair. I like my edges to breathe. You guys ask me a lot of the

times how am I able to kind of keep my edges intact while I do crochet hair

and that's because I don't have a lot of tension in my braids and plus a lot of

my edges are out. So that plays into when I get my hair wet I get out my edges are

like I don't got beautiful edges. They're not like laid down to the gods. I have

regular 4A edges that will want to pouf up. So I wish I had brought one of

these things with me so that I could have continued on and I wish I brought

it with me on my cruise too. So you know when you're out there your edges ain't

looking just completely poofy just bring one of these it doesn't have to be. I

probably wouldn't bring white because I have makeup on but just bringing one of

these. It just helps protect kind of your hair. Now the next thing I should have

brought that I did not bring are scrunchies. I should have brought some

scrunchies with me cause you don't want your hair down the entire time. So

say you want to put your hair up you can with the crochet hair especially if

you're going to the mountains like I did. You're going hiking you're doing all

this active stuff you want to kind of put the hair back you can with some hair

ties. So make sure you have some hair ties on hand if you want to throw your

hair up in a bun. I think that goes without saying but me the queen of

losing hair ties did not bring one. Now of course your bonnet. You guys know

I'm never going anywhere without my bonnet and I don't care where I am. I should

probably just include a bonnet in my pocketbook because I'm the queen of

going to sleep with a bonnet on. You need to put your hair up at night.

Whether you're twisting your hair up at night. Whether you're pineappling your

hair up at night. You need to put your hair in some kind protection and my

bonnet is my go-to for protection. And next thing you need is edge control. Well

I need is edge control. Some people don't care about their edges. Some

people don't even have there edge. They have their hair braided or their crochet

hair in a way where their edges aren't even out. But if you have some exposed

edges and you want to lay them bad boys down make sure you have your edge

control on deck. And then the last but not least thing that I always bring with

me. Now if you're flying somewhere you're going on a trip where you're going to

require flying you just can't have this in your carry-on like

that. But I take scissors with me because there's a lot of times when you wash

your hair you're going to need scissors on deck. There's gonna be some times when

you're gonna have to cut some tangles, you're gonna need to have your scissors

on hand I'm over here flinging scissors around let me just lay those down you're

gonna need some scissors on that so yes those have been my top ten items that

you need to bring with you if you're traveling anywhere I highly recommend

crocheting here for traveling I highly recommend crochet here just for anything

unless I'm the mean of recommending anybody looking for a protective style

for transition style you're experiencing or have experienced a lot of heat damage

this is a great protective style for you and your hair can look very bomb on

vacation if you choose and take care of the hair correctly now I'll link up

above the video for the top five hairs that I recommend for crocheting here I

know I'm gonna get a lot of questions check out that video if you want to see

the hair specifically that I think are good for traveling if you guys liked

Ice Maker Not Making Ice / Whirlpool / What To Check and How To Fix - Duration: 5:27.

Hey friends Allen Lee here with honest Lee handyman services in Sacramento, California

And today I got an issue with my fridge at my house

It's a whirlpool fridge and basically the automatic icemaker stopped making ice

So what I did is I did some research and found out that you could actually run some tests on this thing

And I got the new kit here. This is the deal that's actually broken

I'm going to show you guys exactly how I figured out that it was this that is the issue

But first let's open this up and I'll show you guys what I got going on in here

Okay, this probably looks familiar to you. This is the icemaker that is in your ware' pool

Refrigerator or freezer and now I'm going to show you guys how I actually diagnose it

So first off you're gonna want to take this cover off. So this is this is inside the freezer here

Just right right in there, you know

So you're gonna want to take this cover off and it's pretty I just got some prawns on you. Just pry it off

So the first thing that you can see here is there are a few different test ports

And you're going to want to find the test port the one that's labeled V and the one that's labeled L

so that right here and basically those

you're just going to want to take a

Paper clip and you're gonna want to touch those two together, obviously put a piece of tape at the end so you don't shock yourself

And then you you basically complete the circuit between the V and the L

And if you're if your water starts shooting into your ice maker

Which will shoot in right here if that happens

Then you know that your your fridge is fine. All that. Everything down below is fine, and it's actually this unit

That is at fault and you're gonna want to for me

I like to confirm that so I dug a little bit further to find out if this was actually the fault and

So what you're gonna do is you're gonna take off these three screws right here

One two and three and then this is actually the cover off of my old one here

So you're gonna pull just this cover off you see same thing

just pull it off and you're gonna want to look at the

Terminals and see what you got going on here

And once you got that once you got this off

you're gonna want to take a look at the terminals and if you could see this terminal right here is actually burnt and

that is actually that's what

The heating element on the bottom of this unit here so you can see here

There is actually a heating heating element that runs all along here

so after the ice after this fills up with water and it freezes this thing is activated to heat up and basically

Detach the ice from the ice tray and that's actually what this circuit does

So this exact circuit right here that's burnt out is actually the one that runs the heating element

now this is actually the mug one of the most common things that happens on these whirlpool ice makers is

the heating element goes bad

so that's kind of what what made me want to take a look at this and see if that was actually the issue and

what causes that is, you know this gets moisture behind it and

It basically just causes corrosion on this terminal and it ends up just burning out so it doesn't make connection anymore

Our ice maker went out

Maybe about four days ago

Took this out and then ordered the new part we found on the Amazon

I'll actually put a link to the to the part that you can get to replace this on Amazon

I'll have the link in the description below if you want to purchase it. And so that's the issue

so I'm going to go ahead and

Replace my old ice maker kit with this one

And it should work fine. So let's get to it

All right, there's my old one, it's pretty simple really there's there's a screw here screw there and a screw down here

And this comes off and put the new one on I will have to transfer this mount here to the new one

And then honestly unplug it pretty simple

So if you compare the old one on the bottom here with the new one

You're gonna see you're gonna have to transfer a few things

you're gonna have to transfer this mount here to this and then you're gonna want to unplug this wiring harness from here and

Plug it in to there to the new one

But then other than that the new one goes right in just like the old one came out

Okay, and then once you get your icemaker installed

you could test it actually to see if it works by taking the paperclip that you used to diagnose the old one and

plugging it in between the

V and the L to make sure you plug it in between the V and the L to make sure that the water is flowing

Obviously, there's a little tape on the end of it

So you don't shock yourself like we've talked about before but I did that here water flowed. Everything is great

The instructions do say that the icemaker kit has to cool down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit before it will kick in and start making ice

And the manufacturer says that that may take 2 to 24 hours before it starts

Making its first batch of ice and it also recommends that you should throw away your first two to three batches of ice

After this starts making it because there was some stagnant water sitting in the water lines

So you're gonna want to throw that away if it tastes bad and it doesn't taste bad. That is probably good to go

but anyway

So now that we got that in we're gonna put the cover on

Wait for it to cool down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit and then watch the ice start pouring in

so thank you all so much for tuning into this video and

Like this video leave me a comment in the comment section below and have a great day

What happens when you stop paying credit card bills - Duration: 2:19.

What happens when you stop paying your credit-card bills?

With overall US household debt increasing by 11% in the past decade debt is a way of life for

many Americans. While don't spend above your means will always be sound advice

it can be difficult to put into practice since household debt keeps increasing

while income just doesn't keep up. The cost of living and rapid growth in

medical and housing costs is dwarfing income growth making it challenging to

meet obligations without leaning on credit cards and loans. But, if you are

overwhelmed by credit card debt you may wonder what happens if you simply stop

paying your credit card bills? Well your minimum payments will increase because

you have to make up the payments you've missed plus late fees are added making

your balances rise even faster your interest rates can increase the penalty

rate after your account become 60 days past due each month your minimum payment

gets larger as more late fees added to your balance. When the penalty rate kicks

in your finance charges will also increase the result is that your

outstanding balance and payments you need to catch up gets larger every month

you're late it gets more expensive to catch up the more behind you are.

Even after you catch up the penalty rate will remain in effect until you've made six

consecutive payments on time. After that the interest rate must go down for your

existing balance but can remain in effect for new purchases. If you have

multiple credit cards with the same company those interest rates may

increase too, if you wind up in collections due to non-payment it will

stay in your credit reports for seven years from the date the account

originally became delinquent. Unpaid collections accounts may eventually land

you in court or at least with the court summons. Lawsuits for collection accounts

are a common and efficient way for collection agencies to get payment

never ignore of court summons about debt. These lawsuits can result in wage

garnishment a bank levy or lien on your property if you are struggling with debt

What is the phonemic chart? Teaching English pronunciation - Duration: 4:08.

do you find the difficult to help your students improve their pronunciation? I'm

Andreia Zakime from What is ELT? and today we are gonna answer the question what is

the phonemic chart? so stay tuned for definitions, tips fof resources and

classroom ideas. Let's go?

In today's video we promised to answer the question: What is the phonemic chart?

and this is actually quite easy to answer.

This is the phonemic chart!

and the version that I'm holding is Macmillan's Sound

Foundation chart by Adrian Underhill. This chart is based on the IPA the

international phonetic alphabet which is a notation system that is comprised of

different symbols that represent different sounds in many different

languages. The phonemic chart on the other hand has 44 symbols that represent

sounds that are relevant for learners and teachers of English. For example, this

is the phonemic transcription of the word 'cat'. It's a broader and less

specific representation of how the word is pronounced. And this is the phonetic

transcription of the word, and as you can see they are different. The phonemic

transcription usually comes in between slashes and the phonetic transcription

is usually in between brackets the other thing that you can notice is that there

is a slight aspiration after the sound /k/ in the phonetic transcription and the

phonemic transcription doesn't bring that.

The phonemic chart is divided in

three different sections. On top left, you see the vowels; on the right, the

diphthongs; and here below you see the consonants. Your students don't need to

know what each symbol represents but it is a good idea to introduce the sounds

little by little from the beginning of the learning process to help your students

become more independent learners.

Tip number one: don't teach the phonemic chart, but choose one phoneme that is

relevant for the language that you're teaching your students. Let's say you're

teaching occupations: I'm the teacher; he's a doctor; she's an engineer. If you

stop and think there is one common phoneme in this language which is the

schwa. It is a very good opportunity for you to introduce the symbol to your

students, the sounds that it represents, and to help your students understand how

the phonemic transcription works. But it doesn't mean that they have to know all

the symbols at once

Tip number two: encourage your students to use resources

to help them practice their pronunciation. The most famous resource

is the Sounds app, by Macmillan education. In this app, you can find the phonemic

chart and you can click on the symbols to hear the sounds that they represent

and you can also find practice exercises and quizzes to practice your pronunciation

Tip number three: start using the phonemic chart with elementary

and pre-intermediate learners. It is a common belief that the phonemic chart is

difficult and it can only be used with advanced learners of English but this is

not necessarily true. The sooner introduce the phonemic charts

your learners, the easier it's going to be for them to understand English

pronunciation, and for them to work on their own pronunciation by themselves.

I'm either going to end up at a flomenco bar or a my

bus stop

at the moment it's looking like neither

the trouble is I looked down the

street back down there

and Ithought ooh pretty lights

there's things going on things to

see, so much to show you

okay let me check the map again and see

if I'm going vaguely the right direction

okay first place we found it was Carboneria

which is the flamenco dancing bar

I hope so let's go down this darkened alley

the handwritten sign and see what I find

I can hear sounds singing and dancing

oh and it looks busy

gonna be lucky to get a good seat here

well the cantina the Carboneria was great fun packed but can't show any

footage because we're not allowed to film in there, so I did record some of

the sounds I can play those to you hopefully somewhere else I'll find some

flamenco dancers and to show you

so it's now midnight I'm now wandering around

random alleys, only vaguely lost

hoping the buses are still running

heading to the road to the bus stop

down the strange little road

let's see, errmmmm

I think we still need to go this way

every now and again you come out on a bigger road and then you think you know

where you are and then you go down a side alley and then you're lost again

so left or right?

oh boy, so right? or left? Who knows? Not me

good news no longer completely lost and I found a bus stop and it says a 21

which is the bus I took here hopefully I'm now going in the other direction is due in

six minutes, all the information is up here

bus number where it's going and how many

minutes before arrival

now five minutes

now I have to remember where to get off

I should have paid more notice plus it was light when I left and it's dark now and things look

so different so I'm gonna guess the approximate distance my time and hope I

hop off fairly near my accommodation and then could find my way there

this night may not be over yet but so far I'm currently unlost and waiting for

a bus

good news, I think I've made it

looks familiar I think I go down here turn right

turn left

yep hey even got off at the right stop didn't quite fall asleep so

just down here

must be quiet, don't want to wake anyone up

goodness knows what time it is

but yeah that was actually quite easy I don't know what time the buses

stop running but what's quite grateful there was one

one euro 20 for a

15 minute ride as opposed to at 8 or 9 euro taxi plus any late fees

I've just got to walk this last little bit home

I'm sure I'm in the right place it's just down here be home before we know it

Punishment, What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #157 - Duration: 2:40.

- Hey everybody, how are you?

It's Jeff Gellman with Solid K9 Training with my

What Would Jeff Do?

Dog Training Tip of the Day, Tip #157.

Look who's in the house.

(laughs)

- Hi!

- That's Joelle, she's gonna do a Facebook Live

right after this.

We just finished an almost two hour Q & A.

She filled in for Linda.

Linda's not feeling well at all today.

And it's not 'cause she's hungover

from the Taylor Swift concert.

But anyway, why do I talk about punishment so much?

Like, Jeff, you talk about punishment all the time.

Well number one, I'm doing it because, I mean,

we have tons of videos on how to reward your dog,

and there's so many videos out there

about how to reward your dog,

and how to get your dog, you know, to do something.

But the only way to stop your dog

from an unwanted behavior, is punishment.

And I'm trying to also make sure people understand,

how to properly punish a dog.

There's actually a proper way.

You know, you're not yelling, you're not screaming,

you're not mad, you're not angry.

But there's actually a proper way

to methodically do it in a way

so the dog understands what it did was wrong,

and it won't repeat it.

And that's the only way

to actually stop an unwanted behavior.

It's also the only way to proof your obedience

around high levels of distraction.

So, it's very important for people

either to go to the next level

or to stop things that usually

you end up surrendering your dog for.

Not too many people are surrendering their dog

because, yeah, you know what,

dog just didn't hold a down stay for longer than 10 minutes.

And, yeah, you know you, just, no.

It's always because my dog

was doing something I couldn't stop.

That's usually what the problem is.

So, I talk about punishment all the time,

but that's not all we do.

10% of our world revolves around punishment,

but a lot of my videos talk about it

because nobody else seems to be.

And, that's not, you know.

So I think it's important though that owners understand,

it's actually a critical part

of the dog training spectrum, you know?

So most people ask me questions on,

"Jeff, how do I stop, fill in the blank?"

The answer is, well, I don't believe

in training an alternative behavior,

'cause great, like, how do I speak better English?

Oh! Learn French!

No.

Doesn't work that way.

So, that's why I do it, because you need it.

Everybody needs it, and nobody's talking about it.

So I'll talk about it.

Jeff Gellman, Solid K9 Training.

I am madly in love with you.

If you didn't see my YouTube Live tonight,

almost two hours of Q & A, jump on over to that.

It's number 439, I think.

Been doing it for a long time.

Q & A shows for over 10 years.

What Would Jeff Do?

WWJD.

Madly in love with you, and I'll talk to you soon.

Bye.

What to take with you to Mount Athos - Duration: 10:25.

Hallo my friends

I will visit Holy Mount Athos soon

And i will show you what items i will take with me.

This time i will stay only for two days

so i will take fewer things with me.

First of all, the backpack

This one is light

but have a lot of slots

so you can put many things in here

but is very light

Lets see what i will put in here.

It's also good that it opens all the way, to put in and out the clothes easy.

First of all i will pack my pair of trousers.

it's good for walking

We need a long pait of trousers

it better has many pockets,

to fit all sort of things.

and it''s got a rubber so i don't need a belt.

so it holds very good

We must always weat long trousers inside Athos

Ιt's forbidden to wear shorts, because its a holy place.

In it goes

Then we put in the t-shirt

Take one for each day

It better be one color

not to bright colors

because again it's a holy place

and we must be modest.

The underwear, i always use boxers for more comfort

because i walk a lot

and this help you not to get injured

Next is the shocks

They have to be thick, so the shoe dosen't hurt us.

and also get a good pair of sport shoes

or special shoes for hiking

I use short one's too because i want the skin to breath.

In it goes

Then a towel for the face

It's necessary because they don't always

give you a towel only for you

so we take a small towel

to fit it easy inside the backpack

ok, i thing enought clothes

I close the clothes compartment

I think i will take this book with me too

It has a lot of info about Athos

like what to see in every monastery

maps, e.t.c.

I always use this guide.

In it goes too.

Then i will take this bag with the coffee

As i said in an other video usally there is no coffee at the monasteries

maybe at the capital Karyes

there are some coffee shops

You can even get esspreso there

and at Dafni there is one coffee shop,

but not at the monasteries.

So i will take my shaker

and esspeso sticks

and brown sugan in sticks

mix it with water to make a coffee in the morning.

or in the afternoon before the church.

I will also take a powerbank

because you can't find a plug, or even electricity on some monasteries

and a USB charger with a cable

and with this i will charge the mobile phone,

the cameras, e.t.c.

I will get this small bags for the dirty clothes.

I put them in the bag, so they don't smell bad.

Very important is a flash light

because on the night time there is no light

we can use it early in the morning, when we go to the Church

or if we want to go to the toilet at night

this one is very bright

2 scales and a sos light

It only takes 1 battery and lasts for long because its led.

I put it in also.

I will take this multi tool with me.

I use it very often

Some times i make a sandwich

we need the knife to cut the bread and stuff

It's got a lot of thinks, saws

pair of scissors

openers for cans

bottle opener

for wine bottle

screwdriver

ok it's cheap too, you can hang it

from the belt or the backpack

If you want to see the tests of some of the stuff i use

go to my other Youtube channel: anasteli tech vlog

You can see the link on the side.

I will take this small bag too.

to put various things

Toothbrush

a small toothpaste

tweezers

This was useful because last year i steped on a sea urchin

so i take this with me just in case

i need to take out any thorns

a shaving cream

my razor blade

a aftershave cream, small to fit inside

a small hotel sampoo bottle

and for sure a body cream

I use wax cream

its very good

You can find this over there made from the monasteries

They have also hurbs inside

I also take ear plugs

because the other people snore and it's difficult to sleep with out them.

An other neccesety item is a hat

I took this one that has this cloth on the back

Because i burn on the back of the neck

even when i use sun lotion

so this hat

also protects the neck

and if you want you can remove it

and leave only the hat.

It also folds to put it in your pocket or bag.

Unfold it and wear

You must have a hat for sure, the sun is very strong there.

My back pack is now ready

It's very light

this is very good for the walking

I will also have a waist bag

i got a bigger one this year

you can put more things in here

lots of slots

it's got a back one to put money and id card.

You must have your id card or passport to enter mount Athos.

So you put the stuff you need the most in here

like the flash light

Your id card, diamonitirio, phone, camera e.t.c.

[SNS] What is Love? ᴹᴱᴾ || Summer Festival - Duration: 2:53.

Every day, I felt love only in the movies

Or in books or dramas

Mmm, that's how I learned love

Ooh, some day

Will these things happen to me too?

When will that be? Who will it be?

they say it's sweet like candy

they say it feels like flying

What does love feel like?

they say you smile all day

they say the world becomes beautiful

Will this kind of love come to me too?

Just imagining this right now

Just thinking about it makes my heart explode

Mmm, I'm so curious, I'm going crazy

Ooh, some day

Will these things happen to me too?

When will that be? Who will it be?

they say it's sweet like candy

they say it feels like flying

What does love feel like?

they say you smile all day

they say the world becomes beautiful

Will this kind of love come to me too?

I think it'll be really nice

Better than the movies or dramas

Love will come, my predictions are always right

Hurry and come, I'm always ready!

(Where is he?) I'll find him

(Where is he?) I miss him so much

I don't think I can stand it anymore

They say it's sweet like candy

They say it feels like flying

What does love feel like?

They say you smile all day

They say the world becomes beautiful

Will this kind of love come to me too?

GojiMan Vegan Low Carb Diet: What A Mistake! Reply - Duration: 18:19.

Are vegan low-carb diets healthy or unhealthy? Coming right up.

Hey I'm Dr. Sten Ekberg with Wellness For Life and if you'd like to truly master

health by understanding how the body really works make sure that you

subscribe and hit that notification bell so that you don't miss anything. So this

video was requested by one of my viewers called Little Voice and she saw a video

by ask GojiMan and she asked is there any truth to all these claims? So let's

take a look. Our vegan low carb diets healthy or not (by Gojiman). Well we're not going to

talk so much about vegan or not but I'm gonna address these claims because

there's a lot of incorrect statements here claim number one the body is

designed to run on carbohydrates that your brain heart and liver prefers

glucose while the brain runs primarily on glucose when glucose is plenty it can

run as much as 75% on a fat by-product called ketones so that is an incorrect

statement heart prefers fat. If you don't eat enough good quality fat especially

saturated fat from a natural source then the body is forced to convert

carbohydrates into fat so that the heart can have its preferred fuel and most of

your other organs run from a mix of carbohydrate and fat in a stressful

situation they up regulate their their sugar use and in normal circumstances

they run more on fat so that is incorrect.

Claim number two glucose is converted into ATP therefore the body literally

runs on carbohydrate that is pure nonsense because everything that you eat

gets turned into ATP if your body can convert it into

energy at all it is because it turned it into ATP so fat protein and

carbohydrates all turn into ATP. ATP is adenosine triphosphate it's your body's

energy currency and one molecule of glucose can be turned into up to 38

units of ATP and the same holds true for protein fat however can be turned into

as much as a hundred and forty-six to 163 units of ATP so it's a much denser

much more efficient storage form of energy we can get much more energy out

of the fat than the glucose but either way it's going to be turned into ATP

before we can use it for energy so that does not mean that the body literally

runs on carbs claim number three fat and protein can be turned into glucose

through a process called gluconeogenesis this is true but the video says this

only happens if there aren't carbs available and this is not true a lot of

things there's hundreds or thousands of processes in the body that always happen

to some degree but the body adapts so depending on circumstances we up

regulate or down regulate it happens more or less but it's not an on or off

switch so again glucoeogenesis happens under

all circumstances

it does happen more obviously when carbs are low but it still happens on a

regular basis. Claim number four the World Health Organization recommends

that 60 to 70% of your calories come from carbohydrates and 10 to 15% should

come from protein and 20 to 30% should come from fat and he says that every

Health Organization is pretty much on the same page on this and this is true

that is what they recommend it doesn't make it a good idea these people are not

health experts they're not doctors they're not clinicians they're academics

they're administrators and they're politicians that's why they put them

high in organizations that's what they're good at they're not good at

health so I for one I'm not going to take my health advice from

administrators so it's a correct statement just not a wise one in my

opinion claim number five carbohydrates are the preferred fuel for the body and

therefore the body will only use fat and protein for energy when it's forced to

do so and also through the process of ketosis when carbohydrates are really

low and it is true that carbohydrates will be used first but in no way does

that mean that it's a preferred fuel it's the most dangerous thing there in

the body so it has to be gotten rid of as soon as possible so think about it

this way a good blood sugar level is somewhere between 80 to a hundred or 80

to 90 ideally milligrams of glucose per deciliter that means at any given time

the average person has four to five grams of glucose in their bloodstream

if that increases even just a little bit up to six and a half grams that's toxic

that's the level of a diabetic when your blood sugar gets up to that level you're

classified as a diabetic and if it gets even higher then you can have what

diabetics experience as a diabetic coma so sugar is very very toxic to the brain

and that's why it is so closely monitored and that's why it's so quickly

disposed of the blood sugar is always kept at a certain level and if you eat

fat it's gonna stay at a steady level if you eat carbohydrate it's gonna go up

and down up and down up and down creating an unstable supply and constant

rollercoaster swings with the reactive hypoglycemia as a very common problem

claim number six the body stores carbohydrates

therefore they are essential the body stores a lot of things it stars stores

fat protein and carbohydrate it starts the least carbohydrate because it's very

difficult it can only be stored as glycogen and the body is very limited to

how much glycogen it can store it will store a maximum about 2,000 calories of

glycogen but it can store hundreds of thousands of calories of fat even a lean

person like myself can store about has on the body about a hundred thousand

calories of fat but I cannot store any more than two thousand calories of

carbohydrate so that in no way makes carbohydrates essential claim number

seven the brain and the red blood cells use glucose only so this is half true

the brain we talked about it can run as much as 75% on

fad through ketones so that is incorrect but here is a correct statement the red

blood cells do only use glucose but it's never a problem because there's always

some blood glucose available but they don't need a whole lot because the red

blood cells are interesting little things they're very specialized during

their development they eject their nucleus so they don't have a lot of

stuff in them that needs energy to manufacture things they're transport

vehicles and their job is to transport oxygen not to use it if you have to use

anything else than sugar you have to use oxygen so that's a specialization that

the red blood cells have gone through so that they can deliver oxygen without

using it however they can only get about two units of ATP from a glucose molecule

instead of 38 if we want to get more than two we have to use the oxygen and

again the red blood cells job is to deliver oxygen not to use it up that's

why they only use glucose and they're the only cells that do that as far as I

know claim number eight there are two molecules of water associated with every

molecule of glycogen and it is true that glycogen is what we call hydrophilic it

attracts water it holds water to it like a sponge but it's incorrect that it's

two molecules to one molecule because glycogen is an enormous molecule it

holds tens of thousands of units to it so there's tens of thousands of

molecules of water per like a molecule not two so the two comes from the fact

that it holds about two to three times its weight in water claim number nine on

a low-carb diet you can lose weight initially

and you will lose six to ten pounds very quickly but it's all water there's some

truth to this because most of the weight loss in the beginning is water but

that's true for no matter what diet you go on it is not true that six to ten

pounds are due to the water loss from glycogen that is limited about three to

four pounds because you can only store about one pound of glycogen which holds

about two to three times its weight in water claim number 10 ketosis is only

normal if you're sick or starving this is not true

again there's thousands of processes going on in the body all the time and

they don't go on or off they go up or down and every night you do a little bit

of up regulation for ketosis everyone makes more ketones during the night so

it's a normal phenomenon and it's true there is more when we are sick or

starving because the body is very adaptive claim number eleven you may

lose weight with the ketogenic diet but he says it's all water loss and also he

says the weight loss is not sustainable because if you keep eating like that

then you're gonna gain the weight back so again I'm sorry all you guys who have

consistently lost weight over years and years that didn't really happen and we

do know that carbohydrates is a food that triggers insulin and insulin is a

fat storage hormone so we do know and there is an abundance of meta analysis

meta studies on this and there's a lot of clinical research and results as well

that the carbohydrates trigger insulin causes fat storage

and insulin resistance if you want to get out of that you reduce the carbs and

you fix the problem claim number twelve fat in the blood slows the blood flow

and thereby creates insulin resistance high cholesterol and cardiovascular

disease and this is really interesting because it's the blood sugar that turns

into fat triglycerides high triglycerides which is fat in the blood

is almost invariably caused by high blood sugar because if your insulin

resistance the blood sugar can't get out into the cell so the body has no choice

but to convert it into fat and now you have some of this happening but the

insulin resistance is a result of the carbohydrates not the fat and the high

cholesterol and the cardiovascular disease comes from inflammation which is

a result of insulin due to carbohydrates so end an incorrect statement claim

number thirteen these are all the reasons that the World Health

Organization recommends a high carb diet the main reason that they do that is

that they're politicians and there is something called lobbying the biggest

industry in the world is processed foods and they need to pack a bunch of starch

and sugar into their food and they have lobbyists who influence all these

politicians in the World Health Organization and any other health

organization that's why the Captain Crunch and the marshmallow cereals have

a heart-healthy symbol on them because there is lobbying activity claim number

fourteen low-carb and keto is not good in the long run it's not a long term

diet so the only way the longest term that I

can think of would be as long as Homo sapiens has been around then that would

be about 250,000 years there is probably most likely due to all the available

evidence we have probably had a whole lot better access to fat and protein

through the months of the year then we have vegetables and fruit and grain

grain is a new addition in the last 10,000 years so low carb and ketosis is

what humans have done for most of their existence so long term study would be

the 250,000 years that we have been around so again that is not a correct

statement so one thing that he said was that that I completely agree with that a

lot of confusion comes about from eating processed foods it's not so much whether

we can eat a certain potato or we can eat a certain thing but it's when we

turn the potato into a potato chip it is when we we process the food we destroy

the nutrients we change it around we still need to eat low carb but if we

eat whole food it's gonna be pretty much low carb and grains have not been part

of human diet for all of these years as far as the vegan aspect I don't want to

get into a whole lot of detail so this is not about vegan versus not but we

need to understand that some of the things that we do can be good short-term

and some can be good long-term so vegetables are cleansing they're

wonderful for a short period of time to clean out the body to cleanse the liver

to assist the body and getting rid of accumulated junk but it's not a

long-term plan it's not good for the long term because it doesn't have the

building blocks animal products have better quality building block

and they're more bioavailable they go more directly in in their natural form

in the body so we need both we need vegetables and we need animal

foods animal foods and vegetables in the long run for balance and lots and lots

of vegetables for periods of time as a cleanse so I hope that helps answer some

of these questions and these are important questions these are very very

common misunderstandings there's a lot of myths there's a lot of outright

misinformation so if you'd like me to do individual videos on some of these then

please let me know I'll probably do some anyway but if there's specific ones that

you'd like to know more about let me know and I'll do a short video on that

and expand on it if you're new to this channel and you enjoy this kind of

information where we talk about how things really work so that you can get

your as healthy as possible make sure that you subscribe and hit that

notification bell so that we can keep this content coming your way thanks for

What happens when the third seal is opened? - Duration: 1:31.

Ankerberg: Yes.

Take those last two.

You've got the black horse, "So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat

on it had a pair of scales in his hands.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, 'A quart of wheat

for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and

the wine'" (6:5-6), which means the food costs have gone way up, okay?

And yet there's some people that are rich enough that will hold onto that wine because

they can still pay for it.

So you've got the rich, but most of the world is poor and in famine and dying.

Now, take it from there.

Hindson: Well, the end result of war is always going to bring people into devastation.

Ankerberg: Right.

Hindson: And that leads to famine; that leads to death.

And then you have this sad picture of "death and hell followed after him."

It's almost like he pictures death coming along and picking up the corpses and throwing

them on the wagon, so to speak.

He's cleaning up the mess afterwards.

People are dying.

And that's one of the tough things in the book of Revelation.

People say, "Well, it scares me to read these things."

Well, it's not written to scare us, it is written to prepare us to be ready to meet

Jesus at any time.

Make sure you know that you're ready to go, because you don't want to be left behind.

It's only bad news for the unbelievers.

It's good news for the believer; it's bad news for the unbeliever.
