What is NASAMS (National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System) and why India To Buy It - Duration: 2:54.

The National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) is a medium-range, network-centric

air defence system designed and developed jointly by Raytheon and Kongsberg Defence

& Aerospace, primarily for the Royal Norwegian Air Force.

The system can be deployed to identify, engage and destroy aircraft, helicopters, cruise

missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as protect high-value assets and mass

population centres against air-to-surface threats.

The missile system is in service with the Royal Norwegian Air Force, the Dutch Army,

the Spanish Army and the US National Capital Region, Finland and an undisclosed nation.

Raytheon and Kongsberg entered into a ten-year agreement in June 2015 to expand their partnership

on NASAMS until 2025.

NASAMS 2, an upgraded version of the NASAMS, uses new radars and 12 missile launchers for

quicker identification and destruction of the targets.

The upgraded system has been in service since 2007 and ordered by a number of countries,

including Norway, Finland and the Netherlands.

The NASAMS air defence system features network centric, open architecture that provides increased

survivability against electronic countermeasures.

The missile system can engage 72 targets simultaneously in active and passive modes.

The primary weapon of the system is AIM-120 AMRAAM.

Raytheon MPQ-64F1 Sentinel high-resolution, 3D pencil beam surveillance radar is fitted

to the NASAMS to detect and track the targets.

The missile system is also fitted with AMRAAM launchers and a passive electro-optic (EO)

and infra-red (IR) sensor, hard-real-time communication network and an embedded and

stand alone mission planning tool.

The Spanish Army successfully conducted a live-fire exercise of the NASAMS with four

AMRAAMs in November 2008.

A tactical live-fire exercise of NASAMS was conducted by the Royal Norwegian Air Force

in June 2011.

The air defence system successfully test fired AIM-9X Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missile

in 2011.

The Royal Norwegian Air Force conducted a test firing of ground-based Evolved Sea Sparrow

Missile (ESSM) from the NASAMS in July 2012.

The NASAMS is equipped with three multi-mission launchers, each carrying up to six ready-to-fire

missiles inside the protective canisters.

It can be carried on truck and rail.

The system features a 360 degree defence capability and is suitable for day and night, all-weather

operations.

What is your FORGOTTEN dream? ★ #TheDay1Journey Ep. 3 ★ - Duration: 6:21.

we are live welcome to the day one journey yes yes the day one journey it

is the journey that never ends what why does it never end

simple because tomorrow it will be the day one journey episode 4 today's

episode 3 tomorrow's episode 4 but it's still the day one journey you

see every day I will be with you five minutes reminding you that you have the

chance to look at this day yeah look at this lovely day you see you can look at

this day or any other day as a fresh start

new beginning what we here like to call that day one think about day one is as

the first time you are doing something okay the first time

always has a different smell to it think about the first time your your first

kiss your first going to the movies your first going abroad

with the family the first time being at the sea this is the first time this is

what is all it is all about the day one journey looking at every day as a first

start so I'll be here reminding you of that every day less than five minutes

so let's jump on this episode I have a question for you

to be honest I thought to ask you about to ask you if you have a dream but that's

not really what I want to ask you I have a little bit different question for

you

did you once have a dream that you totally forgot about maybe something

that you didn't tell anyone and maybe even didn't tell yourself recently think

about that stop and think about that while enjoying the view yeah this is the

this can be pretty deep and if you don't have anything in mind like a

specific dream you can try to think about a subject a subject that once

really really fascinated you and you totally forgot about it I hope you have

something in mind so we are going a little bit nostalgic why so I have

another question for you why didn't you why didn't you tell anyone about that

why didn't you tell yourself something about that why didn't you remind

yourself about that recently about the dream or that subject that once really

fascinated you but now you just put it in a back drawer and

forgot about that

why maybe that was because people what people think what people say to you

about that maybe you were afraid that people would laugh at your at your

dreams

maybe even you were afraid that you will laugh at yourself about your dreams

it may seem ridiculous but we all have this self negative talk when we say to ourselves

you can't do that and even laughing like you thought that you can

do that you're serious so what I want to tell you if that ever crossed your mind

I have something very powerful to share with you something I read quite recently

and I was very excited about that it goes like this if no one get this if no

one laughs about your dreams they are simply not big enough let it sink I'll

say it again if no one if no one laughs about your dreams they are simply not

big enough I don't know about you but that gets me very very very excited

extremely excited we are soon out of time we said five minutes so I'll just

tell you why I'm telling you all this so we can meet tomorrow and continue our

conversation I'm telling you this for the simple reason I want to set an

example here in future episodes I want to tell you about my ridiculous

laughable dreams and not not only do I expect you to laugh about them I want

you to laugh about them because that means to me that they are big enough big

enough for me is exciting enough get me the motivation the drive to do something

about that every day and I want to set an example for all of you and mostly I

hope you're watching my children so back to you

think again about your lost dream forgotten dream the secret dream the one

nobody knows about but you what can you do today five minutes only five minutes

and make this day as if the first day you thought about that

the day one for that specific dream what can you do today five minutes only five

minutes see you tomorrow

What is the phonemic chart? Teaching English pronunciation - Duration: 4:08.

do you find the difficult to help your students improve their pronunciation? I'm

Andreia Zakime from What is ELT? and today we are gonna answer the question what is

the phonemic chart? so stay tuned for definitions, tips fof resources and

classroom ideas. Let's go?

In today's video we promised to answer the question: What is the phonemic chart?

and this is actually quite easy to answer.

This is the phonemic chart!

and the version that I'm holding is Macmillan's Sound

Foundation chart by Adrian Underhill. This chart is based on the IPA the

international phonetic alphabet which is a notation system that is comprised of

different symbols that represent different sounds in many different

languages. The phonemic chart on the other hand has 44 symbols that represent

sounds that are relevant for learners and teachers of English. For example, this

is the phonemic transcription of the word 'cat'. It's a broader and less

specific representation of how the word is pronounced. And this is the phonetic

transcription of the word, and as you can see they are different. The phonemic

transcription usually comes in between slashes and the phonetic transcription

is usually in between brackets the other thing that you can notice is that there

is a slight aspiration after the sound /k/ in the phonetic transcription and the

phonemic transcription doesn't bring that.

The phonemic chart is divided in

three different sections. On top left, you see the vowels; on the right, the

diphthongs; and here below you see the consonants. Your students don't need to

know what each symbol represents but it is a good idea to introduce the sounds

little by little from the beginning of the learning process to help your students

become more independent learners.

Tip number one: don't teach the phonemic chart, but choose one phoneme that is

relevant for the language that you're teaching your students. Let's say you're

teaching occupations: I'm the teacher; he's a doctor; she's an engineer. If you

stop and think there is one common phoneme in this language which is the

schwa. It is a very good opportunity for you to introduce the symbol to your

students, the sounds that it represents, and to help your students understand how

the phonemic transcription works. But it doesn't mean that they have to know all

the symbols at once

Tip number two: encourage your students to use resources

to help them practice their pronunciation. The most famous resource

is the Sounds app, by Macmillan education. In this app, you can find the phonemic

chart and you can click on the symbols to hear the sounds that they represent

and you can also find practice exercises and quizzes to practice your pronunciation

Tip number three: start using the phonemic chart with elementary

and pre-intermediate learners. It is a common belief that the phonemic chart is

difficult and it can only be used with advanced learners of English but this is

not necessarily true. The sooner introduce the phonemic charts

your learners, the easier it's going to be for them to understand English

pronunciation, and for them to work on their own pronunciation by themselves.

Thank you for watching and remember to subscribe to our Channel and

updates. See you next time!

Punishment, What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #157 - Duration: 2:40.

- Hey everybody, how are you?

It's Jeff Gellman with Solid K9 Training with my

What Would Jeff Do?

Dog Training Tip of the Day, Tip #157.

Look who's in the house.

(laughs)

- Hi!

- That's Joelle, she's gonna do a Facebook Live

right after this.

We just finished an almost two hour Q & A.

She filled in for Linda.

Linda's not feeling well at all today.

And it's not 'cause she's hungover

from the Taylor Swift concert.

But anyway, why do I talk about punishment so much?

Like, Jeff, you talk about punishment all the time.

Well number one, I'm doing it because, I mean,

we have tons of videos on how to reward your dog,

and there's so many videos out there

about how to reward your dog,

and how to get your dog, you know, to do something.

But the only way to stop your dog

from an unwanted behavior, is punishment.

And I'm trying to also make sure people understand,

how to properly punish a dog.

There's actually a proper way.

You know, you're not yelling, you're not screaming,

you're not mad, you're not angry.

But there's actually a proper way

to methodically do it in a way

so the dog understands what it did was wrong,

and it won't repeat it.

And that's the only way

to actually stop an unwanted behavior.

It's also the only way to proof your obedience

around high levels of distraction.

So, it's very important for people

either to go to the next level

or to stop things that usually

you end up surrendering your dog for.

Not too many people are surrendering their dog

because, yeah, you know what,

dog just didn't hold a down stay for longer than 10 minutes.

And, yeah, you know you, just, no.

It's always because my dog

was doing something I couldn't stop.

That's usually what the problem is.

So, I talk about punishment all the time,

but that's not all we do.

10% of our world revolves around punishment,

but a lot of my videos talk about it

because nobody else seems to be.

And, that's not, you know.

So I think it's important though that owners understand,

it's actually a critical part

of the dog training spectrum, you know?

So most people ask me questions on,

"Jeff, how do I stop, fill in the blank?"

The answer is, well, I don't believe

in training an alternative behavior,

'cause great, like, how do I speak better English?

Oh! Learn French!

No.

Doesn't work that way.

So, that's why I do it, because you need it.

Everybody needs it, and nobody's talking about it.

So I'll talk about it.

Jeff Gellman, Solid K9 Training.

I am madly in love with you.

If you didn't see my YouTube Live tonight,

almost two hours of Q & A, jump on over to that.

It's number 439, I think.

Been doing it for a long time.

Q & A shows for over 10 years.

What Would Jeff Do?

WWJD.

Madly in love with you, and I'll talk to you soon.

Bye.

What to take with you to Mount Athos - Duration: 10:25.

Hallo my friends

I will visit Holy Mount Athos soon

And i will show you what items i will take with me.

This time i will stay only for two days

so i will take fewer things with me.

First of all, the backpack

This one is light

but have a lot of slots

so you can put many things in here

but is very light

Lets see what i will put in here.

It's also good that it opens all the way, to put in and out the clothes easy.

First of all i will pack my pair of trousers.

it's good for walking

We need a long pait of trousers

it better has many pockets,

to fit all sort of things.

and it''s got a rubber so i don't need a belt.

so it holds very good

We must always weat long trousers inside Athos

Ιt's forbidden to wear shorts, because its a holy place.

In it goes

Then we put in the t-shirt

Take one for each day

It better be one color

not to bright colors

because again it's a holy place

and we must be modest.

The underwear, i always use boxers for more comfort

because i walk a lot

and this help you not to get injured

Next is the shocks

They have to be thick, so the shoe dosen't hurt us.

and also get a good pair of sport shoes

or special shoes for hiking

I use short one's too because i want the skin to breath.

In it goes

Then a towel for the face

It's necessary because they don't always

give you a towel only for you

so we take a small towel

to fit it easy inside the backpack

ok, i thing enought clothes

I close the clothes compartment

I think i will take this book with me too

It has a lot of info about Athos

like what to see in every monastery

maps, e.t.c.

I always use this guide.

In it goes too.

Then i will take this bag with the coffee

As i said in an other video usally there is no coffee at the monasteries

maybe at the capital Karyes

there are some coffee shops

You can even get esspreso there

and at Dafni there is one coffee shop,

but not at the monasteries.

So i will take my shaker

and esspeso sticks

and brown sugan in sticks

mix it with water to make a coffee in the morning.

or in the afternoon before the church.

I will also take a powerbank

because you can't find a plug, or even electricity on some monasteries

and a USB charger with a cable

and with this i will charge the mobile phone,

the cameras, e.t.c.

I will get this small bags for the dirty clothes.

I put them in the bag, so they don't smell bad.

Very important is a flash light

because on the night time there is no light

we can use it early in the morning, when we go to the Church

or if we want to go to the toilet at night

this one is very bright

2 scales and a sos light

It only takes 1 battery and lasts for long because its led.

I put it in also.

I will take this multi tool with me.

I use it very often

Some times i make a sandwich

we need the knife to cut the bread and stuff

It's got a lot of thinks, saws

pair of scissors

openers for cans

bottle opener

for wine bottle

screwdriver

ok it's cheap too, you can hang it

from the belt or the backpack

If you want to see the tests of some of the stuff i use

go to my other Youtube channel: anasteli tech vlog

You can see the link on the side.

I will take this small bag too.

to put various things

Toothbrush

a small toothpaste

tweezers

This was useful because last year i steped on a sea urchin

so i take this with me just in case

i need to take out any thorns

a shaving cream

my razor blade

a aftershave cream, small to fit inside

a small hotel sampoo bottle

and for sure a body cream

I use wax cream

its very good

You can find this over there made from the monasteries

They have also hurbs inside

I also take ear plugs

because the other people snore and it's difficult to sleep with out them.

An other neccesety item is a hat

I took this one that has this cloth on the back

Because i burn on the back of the neck

even when i use sun lotion

so this hat

also protects the neck

and if you want you can remove it

and leave only the hat.

It also folds to put it in your pocket or bag.

Unfold it and wear

You must have a hat for sure, the sun is very strong there.

My back pack is now ready

It's very light

this is very good for the walking

I will also have a waist bag

i got a bigger one this year

you can put more things in here

lots of slots

it's got a back one to put money and id card.

You must have your id card or passport to enter mount Athos.

So you put the stuff you need the most in here

like the flash light

Your id card, diamonitirio, phone, camera e.t.c.

My friends thank you for watching, press Like

and leave a comment

What is Low Stomach Acid? How to | "Doc Talks" with Dr. Daniel Nuzum - Duration: 4:46.

Jonathan Hunsaker: Do you have stomach acid problems? Do you take antacids after a meal?

Do you want to learn more about it? Stay tuned to find out.

Jonathan Hunsaker here with Organixx. Thanks for tuning in. Listen, so many of us have

issues after a meal with our stomachs, whether it's acid reflux, or indigestion, or gas,

or bloating, and it turns out a lot of this has to do with low stomach acid. Let's go

talk to Doc Nuzum to find out more right now.

Dr. Daniel Nuzum: Stomach acid is hydrochloric acid. And hydrochloric acid has a pH of zero.

It's the marker. Zero pH is hydrochloric acid. If you go up, sulfuric acid is 1.8 pH.

Distilled water has a 7 pH. Hydrochloric acid is pure acid.

So, the resting pH of your stomach should be 4. When you consume food, your stomach

has to reach a 2-3 on the pH scale before it can empty. So, the contents of your stomach

after you eat, in order for that to empty into the small intestine, the pH has to drop

down to between 2 and 3 on the pH scale.

Think of this. If you eat something that has a very high pH, like bread, think how much

acid your stomach has to produce to bring that 8 ½-9 pH down to a 2-3 on the pH scale.

That's a huge drop in pH. If that takes more than 2 hours to happen, the food in your

stomach starts to go bad.

Remember, your stomach's 98.6 degrees. So, if you consume that chicken at 8,2 pH, and

it takes 4 hours for your stomach pH to reach a 2-3 before it can empty, the chicken went

bad before your stomach could empty.

How can you tell whether you have a low stomach acid production? If you have reflux, or you

have indigestion, or you have bloating when you eat, those are all low stomach acid production

conditions.

In the reflux model, when someone eats, if their stomach acid production is too slow,

the food in their stomach doesn't break down fast enough and it starts to putrefy.

Putrification always produces gas, and that gas puts pressure on the valve at the top

of the stomach, and that valve starts to open up to release that gas. Well, when it does,

it has all these vapors and acidic and alkaline vapors that come off of the stomach then,

and they burn the esophagus and you end up with what's called esophagitis.

When someone has indigestion, or they have bloating, the acid production was so slow

that the food actually started to putrefy in the stomach. The pH finally hits low enough,

between 2-3 on the pH scale, the food empties into the small intestine, but it has gone

bad. That causes an inflammatory response in the gut and you swell up.

When the gut is healthy, it should be all knit together nice and tight like this. See?

My fingers are knit together nice and tight. Only small particles are going to come through

this tight-knit mesh.

When the gut wall gets inflamed, it swells up. When it swells up, all those fibers start

to separate, the membrane stretches out and becomes hyperpermeable. We call that leaky

gut. Chemicals in our food, and the antibiotics, and the preservatives, and all those types

of things that we consume, outside of that, this process of the food putrefying in our

stomach before it empties into the small intestine, because of low stomach acid production or

slow stomach acid production, is another contributing factor to virtually all inflammatory conditions

that human beings suffer from.

If you want to know what to do about low stomach acid, check out my next video.

Jonathan Hunsaker: Thanks, Doc. I love learning from Doc Nuzum, and I hope that you do, too.

If you do and you want to see more of these videos, be sure to subscribe to our channel,

give us a big thumbs up below, let us know that we're doing a good job, comment, and

as always, share with your friends. Thanks for watching.

Did you see what Ozil, Mustafi and Aubameyang did on the Arsenal bench against PSG? - Duration: 2:09.

The Gunners thrashed PSG 5-1 yesterday in their International Champions Cup meeting in Singapore

Ozil opened the scoring after 13 minutes before Alexandre Lacazette, Rob Holding and Eddie Nketiah added to Arsenal's goal tally in the second half

And three Gunners stars looked to be in high spirits as they sat on the bench watching their team-mates thrash their Ligue 1 counterparts

Ozil, Mustafi and Aubameyang were filmed busting a move in the second half of the game

Mustafi even pulled out his air guitar during the impromptu dance session with his team-mates

While Arsenal looked impressive in what was just their third pre-season fixture, PSG were without a number of key players including Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani due to their participation in the World Cup

And when asked whether he thought his side were at a disadvantage, manager Thomas Tuchel couldn't resist taking a swipe at the Gunners

"Yes of course. Are they in Europa League or not. Europa League okay, yeah," Tuchel said

With their victory of PSG behind them, Arsenal now travel to Dublin for their next warm-up game ahead of the new Premier League campaign

Unai Emery's side come up against London rivals Chelsea at the Aviva Stadium on August 1 before travelling to Stockholm for a game against Lazio

Arsenal kick off their Premier League campaign by hosting champions Manchester City at the Emirates on August 12

What Would Happen If The Earth Spun TWICE AS FAST? - Duration: 4:44.

Our planet provides a delicately balanced place for us to call home, but have you ever

wondered what would happen if something as simple as the way the Earth spins was to change?

What if its rotation became twice as fast?

Would life as we know it changes forever, or would it have a relatively little impact

on us?

Remember, we post new content every single week, so subscribe to our channel and click

that bell icon so you don't miss out!

Now, back to the video.

The Earth fully rotates once every 23 hours and 56 minutes.

The speed at which a location on the planet is moving depends on its proximity to the

equator and distance away from the core.

If you were at the north or south poles, the speed will be virtually zero, but on the equator,

the rotational speed is about 1037 miles per hour (or 1668km per hour).

The Effects of the Earth's Rotation

The speed of the Earth's rotation provides a number for things that we take for granted.

The first, and most obvious thing is our day/night cycle.

The movement of the planet from west towards east means that the sun appears to rise in

the East and set in the West.

The rotation in this direction is also the reason why weather and ocean currents flow

from East to West, instead of from North to South.

The greatest effect on it has on weather is known as the Coriolis Effect.

This is the combination of the inertia from moving air and the earth's rotation, and

determines the way the global atmosphere moves- being responsible for the Westerlies, the

Polar Winds, and the prevailing Ocean Currents.

How Could The Earth's Rotation Speed Up?

Currently, the rotation of the Earth is slowing down, ever so slightly, each year.

At this rate, in a century a day will last 2 milliseconds longer than it does today.

This slowdown has taken place ever since the moon's gravitational pull has taken hold,

and means that during the time of the dinosaurs, a day would only have lasted for 22 hours.

There are a few ways that the Earth's rotation could speed up though.

The first is a collision with another large object in space.

If this were to happen at the right place, in line with how the planet spins already,

then the input of energy would be translated into rotational speed.

Small impacts, that happen regularly, also have an effect, and so do earth-bound events

such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.

These events cause a tiny change, though, but if a large number took place at once it

could cause something more noticeable.

The chances of these things happening are incredibly unlikely and, if we were able to

survive the initial effects, the change in the spin would make life very different.

What If The Spin Was Twice As Fast?

With so much being reliant on the Earth's spin, things would change dramatically if

it became twice as fast, whether it occurred instantly or gradually.

A gradual increase in speed would, at least, give us a chance to get used to the changing

conditions around us.

The most instantly noticeable effect would be the days being half as long.

The sun would move across the sky twice as fast, and every form of life would have to

get used to Shorter day and night cycles.

The Force of Gravity would also decrease as the earth spins faster, although this change

would affect the equator to a much greater extent than the poles.

Another effect would be that on the oceans.

The Increased Centrifugal Force would pull more water away from the poles, and cause

Higher Sea Levels around the equator.

Just a 1 mile per hour increase in speed would raise water by a few inches, so if the earth

rotated by an extra 1000 miles an hour, the effects would be huge.

The equator would be flooded, only the tallest peaks would still be accessible, and the polar

regions would become very shallow, if not completely devoid of water altogether.

The effect on the atmosphere would also be substantial.

It would massively increase the energy in the prevailing currents.

Day to day weather may not actually change too much once things have settled, but extreme

events would be far more deadly.

Hurricanes, for example, would spin much faster and travel further.

The increased momentum will also cause a shift in the earth's tectonic plates, and likely

cause Super-earthquakes that would cause extreme devastation in the affected regions.

On a human level, our bodies would find it very difficult to adjust to the shorter days.

The decreased pull of gravity would mean that we would essentially be weightless, and this

change would make it quite difficult to function normally.

We'd also have to relocate away from the equator where the effects would be most acute.

A lot of our technology would also become obsolete, because satellites are synched to

the earth's spin, so until they were replaced to take into account the changes and match

the speed of their orbit around the earth, we'd find it impossible to rely on technology.

It's virtually inconceivable that the Earth could increase its spin to such speeds, and

even more unlikely that we would survive any event that actually caused this.

If we did, the world would become a very different place and, while we'd be able to survive,

we would have to adapt to the changes in a pretty huge way, and life as we know it, would

never be the same.

Livestock, Youtube , and What the Bulls Taught Us For the Future - Duration: 11:09.

Hi I'm Mike.

It was Winston Churchill who said You have enemies?

Good.

That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Are the topics covered on our channel too controversial for the main stream?

Do people not want to put a face to their food?

Today, we get take a look at those questions, and the future of livestock ranching channels

like ours on our Wyoming life.

If you are a follower of Our Wyoming Life, then

you probably know what I am going to talk about this week, our issues with youtube and

how that effects what we do and how we are going to do it from here on out, and if you

are new, thanks for joining us, I would hope that you are going to subscribe but let me

warn you, this isn't going to be the normal type of episode for us here.

On any given week you can find us working our tails off.

Doing our best to keep ahead of the workload that seems to just flow from everywhere here

on the ranch.

Ranching and farming can sometimes seem like a never-ending battle.

Whether it's against weather, equipment, animals, and sometimes even yourself.

I can admit it, that sometimes I am my own worst enemy.

I get into my own head sometimes, psych myself out and this week has been one of those weeks.

I guess that's why I decided that this would be a good time to just sit down with you.

Talk about the week, explain the problems we have had and get it over with.

Put it to bed.

Move on.

So lets talk about the gorilla in the room.

On July 10th we posted a video to YouTube called Putting the bulls in with the cows.

For two weeks that video was up on youtube and it gain good traction and garnered a lot

of views from folks just like you.

In two weeks that video had 330,000 some odd views.

To be blunt, a lot of of those views probably didn't come from people just like you.

A lot of them came from people who saw the thumbnail of a bull on a cow and came to watch

that act and that act alone.

Which is a little weird.

As with all of our videos we put it out as an attempt to educate people on the farm and

ranch life.

To show people where their food came from and hopefully some where along the line, one,

two or 50 videos in they start to think about that.

On July 25th, somebody reported the video as inappropriate.

I don't know if they found the fact that we showed a bull up on a cow, mating as offensive

or if they just thought the whole video was rude and vulgar.

I don't know.

And I don't really care.

The video was reported to youtube, youtube said whoa! and the views on it basically stopped.

For this next part to make sense, I have to clue you into how YouTube works when it come

to promoting videos.

As videos gain views and become popular, Youtube then starts suggesting them to more people.

Just like if you watch this video to the end, there will be suggested videos for you.

It may lead you to another farm or ranch video, and that video can be from any channel.

As the bull video gained popularity, youtube started suggesting it to more and more people

and as long as those people were clicking on the video, youtube was happy.

Ads were playing, youtube was making money off the video and so were we.

Once the video was reported, like I said, all things stopped.

Erin actually came to me and told me that for some reason the bull video had went from

over 2000 views per hour to only 20, in minutes.

We didn't know what was going on, it was only later that day when we found out it was

reported as inappropriate.

You might think that we were upset over the fact that we no longer had those views creating

income for the channel.

But if you think that, then you don't know us well at all.

That's ok, I hope you take the time to get to know us but if you don't, that's fine

too.

Ya see, the money we make off of youtube isn't much, and in fact that video had only made

us.

In fact ill show you.

Out of those 332,259 views off that episode.

We made $184.55 that's it.

So if its not the money that made us upset that youtube , the very next day deemed our

video unsuitable for most advertisers than what was it.

Well I'll tell you.

That video had momentum, it was reaching a ton of people.

I'll give into the fact that a lot of those views were from people that just came to watch

something that maybe considered shocking or weird or whatever but a few of those people

that were watching the video were getting our message.

They were joining our community and becoming, just like you people that care about agriculture.

About 2% of new viewers to our channel were subscribing and joining the herd.

That may not seem like much but we gained almost 3000 subscribers from that one video

in those two weeks.

With youtubes decision, that was done.

They were no longer suggesting the video to new people and although the video is still

there to watch, that's all it is, its just there.

We aren't alone in this boat.

We did a little research, and countless channels have dealt with this issue, and a lot of them

farm and ranch channels dealing with livestock.

There are a lot of bull breeding videos online and you will be hard pressed to find one of

them that is monetized for the creator.

This is a problem we are going to deal with.

Even though our videos are presented in an educational manner.

We didn't just throw up 3 minutes of bulls doing it to shock and gain views the easy

way - its going to be an issue.

When it comes time to sell calves, is that going to be found inappropriate, we don't

know.

Youtube is a business and its there to make money.

If they feel that advertisers wont want to put their ad on a certain type of video, they

are not going to let that video make money.

Worse yet, they aren't going to promote that video.

We were told from youtube that monetization status has no effect on how a video is promoted

or suggested.

That is obviously false.

The moment our video was found to of inappropriate content, suggestions stopped and the good

things it was doing were stopped as well.

So that's where we sit with that.

Is there anything we can do about it?

Nope.

Not a thing, there is no appeal process but I can say that I am happy for what that video

did in the two weeks it was allowed to live a free life.

That video brought people to us that may never have found our channel, people we never would

have met or had the chance to talk to and people that we hope we help by spreading the

message of how important where our food comes from is.

Because it is important.

But you already know that.

By the way, we aren't even attempting to monetize this video.

There is no point.

The footage we have shown you would have gotten it dinged in a few weeks anyway for one reason

or another.

I want to thank every one for the support they have show us to this point over this

issue.

We've gotten emails and comments asking us if this is going to change the way we do

anything and the answer is no.

As the world becomes more sensitive to things and easily offended, I imagine it is going

to harder and harder for channels such as ours that show the real world of raising livestock

to it fairly.

Over the next five years, experts have told me that channels like ours may not even be

eligible to be monetized because of the sensitive nature of advertisers and people in general.

I get it, I worked in radio and advertising for many years.

Advertisers play to their customers and if you advertise on something your customers

don't like then they aren't going to buy from you, its that simple but who gets to

decide what is offensive and what is just nature.

That's a hard call but I can tell you that policies like that are limiting the reach

of channels like ours, through suggested videos and organic promotion.

Youtube isn't going to help us, we are too controversial, which is something I never

ever thought I would say about our channel in a million years but just by the pure nature

of our lives we are.

When it comes down to it, its up to us to spread our own message.

And when I say us, I don't mean me and Erin.

I mean all of us.

If you are still here, you care.

Share our videos, heck make your own.

If you share a post or a video and one person you share it to shares it, it doesn't take

long to reach thousands.

I'm not saying you have to share everything but share what you care about.

What you care about is important to others, even if they don't know it yet.

The question of the week has been, whats going to happen to our Wyoming life.

The answer.

We are going to live it.

And we are going to share it with you.

No matter what anybody says, bulls are still going to mate with cows all over the world

and eventually the product will end up feeding millions, if you don't want to see it, then

you have a choice, turn off the channel.

But we will still be here and we really do hope you will be too.

Coming up this week we start with a brand new breath of fresh air.

The project list is coming up on Tuesday with a major breakdown in haying that will slow

down the entire process but hopefully wont put us our of commission.

Erin and I will be livestreaming on Wednesday night this week, Thursday is our normal night

but its Graces birthday, she turns the big 5, so we will be changing the livestream date

for that and we have a brand new feature coming up in our livestream that I really hope you

are just going to love, I'm really excited for it.

We really hope to see you there.

Until then, remember to forgive you enemies, mostly because it annoys the hell out of them.

Have a great week and thanks for joining us in our Wyoming life.
