How to collect a "Flu Near You" nasal swab - Duration: 6:47.Thank you for helping us better understand influenza in Minnesota. We
recommend watching this entire video start to finish before collecting your
specimen or specimens. This is your "Flu Near You"
specimen collection box for collecting a nasal specimen from yourself and/or
household members who are experiencing influenza-like illness, including fever
and cough. Fever does not have to be measured and someone reporting a fever
or feeling feverish is sufficient. Before you take your specimen there are a few
things you will need: a thin permanent marker or ballpoint pen, a cup, tape, and a
pair of scissors is optional. Before you open the box, wash your hands with soap
and water. Remember, practice good hand-washing and wash your hands for at
least 20 seconds. Inside your box, you should have the following items: three
bags, each containing a package of swabs and a transport tube; three specimen
submission forms; one clear plastic bag; one white bag; one pair of procedure
gloves; and one procedure mask to use when collecting on someone other than
yourself. We've also included items with the "Flu Near You" logo on them as a thank
you for your participation. These are for your own use and not necessary for the
sample collection process. Open up the bags containing the swabs and transport
tube. If you are collecting only one specimen, just open one bag. If you are
collecting two specimens, open two bags etc. Remember you should only collect
specimens on individuals in the household who are ill with influenza-
like symptoms of fever and cough. You will first fill out information on the
forms and tube, before you collect the specimen or specimens. You will write the
information needed on the specimen collection form and transport tube. For
the collection form the areas you need to complete have a star next to them. For
each person you are collecting specimens from, write his or her first
and last name, date of birth and today's date, the day you are collecting the
specimen on. Likewise for each person you are collecting a specimen from, write his
or her first and last name, date of birth and today's date, the day you are
collecting the specimen on, directly onto the tube. You do not need to answer other
questions written on the tube. Take the "Flu Near You" sticker that is stapled to
the collection form and place it on the specimen tube, below where you wrote your
information. Be sure not to cover up any of the information. You should now have
matching stickers on both the collection form and the tube. Make sure that the
information written on the transport tube and the specimen submission forms
match. In addition, the "Flu Near You" stickers should match. If they do not
match, the specimen cannot be tested. You are now ready to collect the specimen.
Put on the gloves and loosen, but do not remove, the red cap top of the transport
tube. Place the tube upright in a place where it will not spill, a cup works very
well for this. If you are collecting a nasal swab from another household member,
put on the mask included in the box. If you are
collecting a nasal swab from yourself, You do not need to put on the mask
Remove one of the sterile swabs from the packaging. You will only be using one of
the two swabs. Take care that the tip of the swab does not touch any surfaces
before you take the nasal specimen. Tilting the head back slightly, gently
insert the swab about one inch into one nostril. The swab should be parallel to
the roof of the mouth, not upwards. The entire swab tip should be in the nostril.
You may feel some pressure, but this should not hurt. Rotate the swab three
times and remove from the nostril. Do not swab both nostrils. Without delay,
remove the cap of the transport tube and place the swab into the tube,
so the tip comes into contact with the liquid at the bottom. Break the swab off
at the break point, near the middle of the stick, by bending it. Or you can cut the
swab with a pair of scissors if you prefer. Screw the cap back on tightly.
Place the transport tube into the clear plastic bag. If you are collecting more
than one specimen, you can put all transport tubes in the clear plastic bag
together. Remove any excess air in the bag by laying the bag flat on a table
and pushing on the bag gently. Remove the plastic backing off the tape at the top
of the bag and seal. Place the clear plastic bag with your samples into the
white bag along with specimen collection forms. Remember each transport tube needs
to have its own specimen collection form and the information on each tube needs
to match the information on the specimen collection form. Remove the plastic
backing at the top of the white bag and seal. Place the white bag inside the box.
Close the box and seal with a piece of tape. The green and white shipping label
is prepaid, you do not need to add postage. If you like, you may enter your
return address but it is not necessary. Your sample is now ready to mail to the
Minnesota Department of Health. Please mail it as soon as possible. You can drop
it into a United States Postal Service mailbox or take it to your local post
office. Thank you for helping us learn more about influenza in Minnesota. If you
have questions about this project please call, 651 201 5414
during business hours and ask to speak to someone about "Flu Near You".

Swimming at Gibraltar Falls near Canberra in the ACT, Australia - Duration: 2:58.Welcome to Swimming Hole Heaven, I'm Brad Neal
and today it's time for a dip in the pool
above Gibraltar Falls
It's just outside of Canberra in the ACT in Australia
At the car park you'll find a couple of picnic tables
and barbecues
To have a quick look at the falls before your swim
It's just a short walk down this path
But that's not why we're here
So to reach the pool you either have to
duck under this rail and wander out onto the cliff top
or from this steel footbridge, follow the creek downstream
There are plenty of warning signs about the dangerous cliff edges
and the rocks in parts are quite smooth and slippery
Let's have a peek over the edge
Whoa!
I think I'm going to step back from there
After checking out the sturdiness of the outlet
that is saving me from a 50 m plunge to certain death
I worked up the courage to get back in the water
Relax
and enjoy the views

Fairfax Bridge, WA near Rainier National Park | January, 2018 - Duration: 2:58.(News anchor talking in background)
Our travels on this wet and rainy day took us along Hwy 165 heading East
towards the Carbon River entrance to Mt Rainier National Park. But Mt
Rainier was not our destination today... instead we wanted to check out a
towering 250 foot bridge that spans the Carbon River. This bridge is almost 100
years old and there are only two of these three-hinged steel arches left in
the state of Washington. It's called a three-hinged bridge because of the
rather unique design of placing a third hinge point right in the center of the
bridge. It was built in 1921 as the nearby towns of Fairfax and Melmont
were experiencing a coal-mining boom. There was also a pretty sizable lumber
company nearby. The coal boom did not last and Fairfax actually became a ghost
town by 1941. This bridge was the highest span in the state at the time of its
construction and it's sometimes called the O'Farrell bridge. And it's listed on
the National Register of Historic Places. You can get really good pictures of the
bridge from either side, although the descent on the east side of
the bridge is fairly steep and for some reason there were power lines running at
eye level across it on the day that we were there. There is a significant trail
on that side of the canyon as well and you can find directions online for a
hike to the nearby ghost town of Memont. It's a great spot to visit at any time
of the year though the observation decks can get quite slippery in the rain
and for some odd reason they slope away fairly steeply from the bridge and the
guardrails are really not very high so watch your step.
Also note that it is only a one-way bridge so stopping in the middle with
your car is not a great option. It's best to go to the west side and pull off in
the turnout before walking back to the bridge on foot. We hope you enjoyed this
overview and next time you are in the area you should definitely check out
this fantastic old bridge. We hope that you will follow us for more reviews like
this... until next time - happy exploring!

Skiing in Cortina d'Ampezzo near the Italian Dolomites - Duration: 1:33.The Snow Service Ski rental is a shop in the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo, five minutes
from the main bus stop in town.
Here I rented a pair of boots, skis and a helmet for a day of skiing in the Italian
Dolomites.
Ready to ski in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Socrepes is about 10 minutes away from Cortina by bus, offering slopes for the less experienced.
It is here you can learn to stand on the skis, walk and slide down the baby slopes.
The views are absolutely breathtaking on either side of the ski lift and if you are lucky
the sun will be shining like it did when I was there.
The Dolomites now completely dominate the area and are now protected under UNESCO World
Heritage status.
If you slide down through the forest route, you will arrive at the Teleferico, which will
take you to the top of the mountain.
The ride will take about 10 minutes with one change, flying you up to 2800 meters.
Cortina will be in front of you in the valley as you stand at the edge and later while you
are descending back to the valley.

According to the United Nations, it no longer judges a country by a particular stage that
it is at in its development.
Nonetheless, countries are ranked higher in terms of the comforts and opportunities afforded
to its citizens.
We now call this the Human Development Index.
Back in the day, we would judge a country by its stage of industrialization, and the
first developed country in this sense was the UK.
Belgium followed, then Germany, then the USA, and then France and other western European
nations.
If we look at today's Human Development Index, the top ten countries in order are:
Norway, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Singapore, the Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland,
Canada, and 10th, believe it or not, is the USA.
The UK, which was once in first place, now stands in 16th place.
Today we'll look at why, in this episode of the Infographics Show, 3rd World vs 1st
World Countries - What's The Difference?
Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our
Notification Squad.
First of all, many people think we should stop using these terms of first and third
world.
The terms are seen as insulting and vague, and while some nations might not be economic
powerhouses, what's to say the citizens don't live a happy and safe life, even without
a Big Mac and fries?
If we go back some years to 1952, a French demographer Alfred Sauvy wrote about "Three
worlds, one planet."
It is he who is said to have coined the term.
By first world, he meant the USA, Japan, South Korea and Western Europe.
By second world, he meant the Soviet Union, China, Cuba and communist allies.
At the bottom, in the third world, he meant all the rest, societies that were mostly agrarian
and poor.
One of the reasons the term is decried is because it was so vague.
There wasn't really much analysis, and so in spite of northern Brits living in industrial
slums and working in inhumane conditions as George Orwell wrote in 'The Road to Wigan
Pier', because of Britain's relative wealth, it was deemed first world.
In fact, these days a professor at Harvard Medical School has used the term 'Fourth
World', which includes the USA.
This means a country of great wealth where some parts of society live on the fringes,
jobless, often drug-addicted, with no healthcare and not so many opportunities to change things
around.
They are living in a first world with third world standards.
So, this is a rather confusing question we have posed.
Do we use the term developing?
We can look at what has happened over many parts of Asia in the last twenty years.
While parts of China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand still have pervasive abject poverty,
there is a lot more money.
It isn't exactly getting to everyone, though, and one might ask if farming rice in China
was any worse than making iPhone components for hours on end in a factory in a polluted
city.
But with this new money, infrastructure has improved, and so too has healthcare and education.
We could say these countries are verily developing.
But why is Norway the most developed?
Is it still not developing?
Does developed mean stasis?
Not really, all countries are still developing, but others could be said to be going through
major changes.
The U.S. Department of State explains why Norway is so developed: "Per capita GDP
is among the highest in the world," we are told, due to thriving industries in this nation
of just 5.2 million people.
Just take into account that Delhi has 18.6 million people.
You only need to walk around Delhi to see poverty all around you, you don't have to
go looking for it.
India is developing due to its fairly amazing economic growth, but still, it was reported
in 2014 that 58% of the Indian population were living on less than $3.10 per day.
India puts the poverty line at $1.90 a day.
This may be enough not to starve to death, but we can imagine that those people living
on that amount don't have the freedom and opportunities that Norway's less well-to-do
people have.
In fact, in Norway, the average income is more than $35,000 a year.
Only 3 percent of the population work very long hours, and all Norwegians, according
to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, can expect good, "environment
quality, jobs and earnings, income and wealth, education and skills, housing, work-life balance,
civic engagement, social connections, and health status."
The same definitely cannot be said of any developing nation.
Nonetheless, anyone in India will tell you about great transformations, more job opportunities,
an easing of poverty, and how far the country has come in terms of developing technology.
Norway is top of the Human Development Index, so we could say this is the first of the first
world countries, even though we don't use that term anymore.
The top 51 nations fall in the 'High' Human Development bracket.
Out of 188 countries, India comes in at 131st.
Indeed, India's super rich wealth and massive growth has yet to trickle down to many of
the masses.
The HDI has three main categories: Environmental sustainability, economic sustainability and
social sustainability.
Right at the bottom of the HDI is the Central African Republic.
Again, while we don't use the term third world anymore, you could say that this might
be the bottom of the list in so far as we have a term for not being developed.
Why is that?
For starters, life expectancy there is only 52, or thereabouts.
It is tied with Angola, and only better than one country, which is Sierra Leone.
People there can expect to live to 50.1.
By comparison, Norwegians on average can expect to live about 30 years longer.
In India, the life expectancy is 68, somewhere in the middle.
The 4.6 million people living in the Central African Republic have faced extreme poverty,
war, ethnic and religious cleansing, and political violence.
It's said to be the worst place in the world to be young, and even if you get a job, the
average wage per year is said to be $400, although this might need updating.
Half of the population is illiterate, and if you go to school you might not do more
than 4 or 5 years.
It has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world, and about a quarter of
the women have undergone genital mutilation.
If that isn't bad enough, human rights hardly exist.
Complain, and you might find yourself being arrested summarily and sent to a terrible
jail.
Corruption is rife, and there is not much anyone can do.
The country has a history of labor rights violations as well as child labor.
Children and women regularly face violence after being accused of being witches.
One travel blogger talked of his experience in the capital of Bangui, saying it was "a
mess that is always teetering on the edge of violence."
We are of course mentioning the very worse things, and no doubt a lot of people live
a happy life there.
We just want to outline a kind of first, second and third comparison.
That's why we have picked these three nations.
We could also look at the country of Botswana, which comes in 108th place.
This is quite low, but if you've read Malcom Gladwell's book, 'Outliers', you'll
know it's home to possibly some of the happiest, laidback, self-sufficient people in the world.
Or was, until recent times.
According to Gladwell, they have a two hour work day on average, and play around most
of the time.
They don't need iPhones or dinner sets made by Hermes.
They are the last Hunter/Gatherer tribe called the ǃKung Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert.
These wanderers also moved through Angola (which is placed 150th on the HDI).
Unfortunately, what they hunt and gather is being destroyed by development.
Anthropologists say they get over conflicts in peaceful ways and generally are a happy
lot.
They provide for their kids with devotion, and remain mostly monogamous.
Wealth is shared with everyone.
In more recent years, that has changed as some were forced to settle in one place, and
that's when the problems arose.
As soon as they got doors, they started shutting them and sharing less.
They are also very much third world by western standards.
So, are they any worse off than an overworked, overweight, diabetes and hypertension suffering
rich first world man that takes pills to sleep and often drinks to oblivion?
Let us know in the comments!

Vegan Restaurant in Seoul + Quick Q&A with Ivan Lam! - Duration: 14:04.Good morning everyone today
I'm starting off my day at Itaewon. I am getting brunch with Sunny and Ivan. Ivan is vegan so
That's why we chose plant
Okay, right here. Hi!
Hello! Hello~ I'm wearing black today
You are!
Cause I have nothing in my closet right now. Everything is in the laundry
Laundry
It's like hard to do laundry in this cold weather because the clothes don't dry
I know
That's why you have to turn on the floor heating and then lay the clothes there
That's right x 2. On the floor right, and then it just evaporates
I know. So we are waiting for Ivan
He like just woke up so
Well I mean he's on holiday. He is, definitely
But this is vegan or vegetarian?
Everything is pretty vegan here. They don't serve any meat
Because even like the cheese, they serve like vegan cheese
Yeah, I need that
Yeah, I want a lentil veggie bowl. It's really good. (I like that too)
I came here before and Jane actually ordered that and I had like a bite of it
So bomb.
But did you know that their avocado burger is pretty good too?
(Huh) Yea their avocado burger is really good
The portions are actually really big (Yeah)
Like what?
So scary. That's my first impression on Sunny (I know)
I got the lentil veggie bowl. We got chili cheese fries to share
I ordered a breakfast burrito for Ivan. He's here
We ordered chili cheese fries for us to share. (Okay~ It's vegan?)
Yeah, it's all vegan, and the cheese is all vegan (Really?) So eat everything
It's all vegan right? Wow. Who chose this place?
I suggested it, but she comes here often (I come here often because I love vegan food)
This looks amazing. Wow
Yeah they're really good. And they are one of the most famous vegan restaurant here
What did you guys get? Lentil veggie bowl. You want to try some?
That looks really like healthy. I got a burrito
I only eat healthy with you
Dang, that's good. Joan always eats bread
We're reunited (I know)
I met Sunny because of Ivan oh my gosh
Yeah, I met Sunny because of you (You connected us)
We're just missing Eddie, but he's in Singapore. Cause he connected us
How did we meet?
Youtube
And then when you were in Malaysia, I was in Malaysia too. So we met up
You lost weight (Yeah she did. Wisdom teeth)
Alex (Hello nice to meet you)
He won a past giveaway of mine (the purple tale????)
Yeah the neck cream right? (Yeah the purple one)
Nice to meet you. You're really pretty (Thank you)
Do you mind if we take a photo? (Yeah we can take a photo)
Alright so Ivan and I are going to film at my place
But he's going to meet up with Sunny later. So.. Should be fun
Dude, she's so weird
We're back home and we actually just finished filming (Yeah)
And I wanted Ivan to try spicy almonds (I hate spicy)
Try this
Is it really spicy or like.. (It's not that spicy)
I might turn red
Mmm~ (Right?)
It's getting spicier (So good)
Want the regular cashew?
It's so good. Really?!
It's like... burning my throat
It's really good though (It's good right?)
It tastes so good
We're gonna film a quick Q&A now
For his vlog and my vlog
Before you go meet up with a friend, and I'm gonna go meet up with Ashly now
Come closer
It's actually really good but it's kind of spicy
It's good. If you guys have not watched Ivan doing the spicy noodle challenge
Do yourself a favour
And go watch it
See me like showering in my own sweat
You can okay, so we're gonna film. I just tweeted and we already have like
50 questions
so
We are going to film a few on my channel and you want yours mm-hmm all right?
Ready, all right. We're just gonna. We're just gonna got no filter this and just go right all right number one
What is the most attractive feature in someone?
Let's do physical feature yeah, I think that's okay, let's do non-physical in physical. Oh, okay?
You start. Mine is intelligence and for physical, I like it when people have nice noses. Is that weird?
No. Okay, cool
Nose is the center of the face so that makes sense
I think mine, probably non-physical is like empathy and compassion
And then
feature
Kind eyes, I like people with kind of eyes yeah, that's a good one. All right
What has been your favorite hair color on one another oh?
I would say red
Red? Red was fun. Yeah. We were Team Rocket because you were purple and I was red at that time
I like this on you. I really like this on you
Like natural right? I also like grey. I feel like you could just pull off any colour
I like the grey me too, but yeah, I think you look good with red. I think warm colours for you look good
Cause your make up you like to use warm colours (Right x3) But I kind of like the darker look
It's been a while since I had it this color. That's true mm-hmm top 5
Korean beauty brands
Mm-hmm the first one is Cosrx. Yeah, I was just gonna say Cosrx. I really like their products
I like Innisfree, Make Prem. I gave you a Make Prem cream. You need to try that (I'm gonna try that)
And then what are the other two for me
I use so many random ones, like all over the place (Yeah)
But every time people ask this question, I'm like Cosrx always comes to mind for me
I guess I like Missha, cause I use their essence
Oh Neogen. I also really like Neogen
Yeah, that's five. That's five
But we have so many more. Right?
Describe each other in three words, okay, okay?
You do one and I'll do one and (then okay). Caring
He's really caring. You're caring, but then when we're drunk
You're like extra caring
And that's when you know like it's it's real because you know when you have a few drinks in
That's when like your true self - sometimes, not for everyone, comes out and like you're just extra caring and like the other night
We were talking about some deep stuff like when we're drunk. You don't remember? I like remember vaguely. But when i'm drunk. I'm like
That night was really fun though
For you, I think you're like
Generous
Like giving, cause every time I come, she makes the time to show us around and like she tells us she
Doesn't like, Joan is not the kind to like withhold information in front of you know like some people are very like
hmm, I think like selfish with their knowledge I
I don't like that. I like people that are like generous with their knowledge and cause like
You know some people just don't want to share their tips with you, just in case like you
Whatever get better or something
But I think she's very generous in terms of like actually sharing what what you should do what you shouldn't do it?
I like that to you, so I really like that about Joan
Wow should we just keep going with these words or should we just stop from here
Let's stop here
Does Ivan know about Big Bang? Yes, duh
Who doesn't, honestly It's Big Bang yeah
Which would favorite thing to do when y'all are together
Chill?
Yeah, and coffee, and we just talked yeah, I get coffee and talk about we never run out of things to talk about
Yeah, it's pretty great. And we love coffee so
That's true
Alright so last question on my channel how about that? Because there's way too many and we should film for yours.
What's it like having a long-distance friendship? How do you keep in touch despite having different time zones?
I don't think it's that hard. Our friendship is like pretty
Effortless like (yeah, no for sure) like we just hit each other up when we feel like it
It's not like those
You don't need to like text each other everyday Yeah, and we always respond to each other's like instastory, and we're always like
Somehow communicating throughout and every time I watch his video if I don't leave a comment
I'm just texting him saying "Hey, you finally did empties" I try to comment
But I just like to text you directly and see how he's doing and also I visit often
And then when I go to LA he's like my go-to like hangout buddy because everyone else has a real job
yeah, really, so we chill a lot and we hang out a lot and
Honestly our friendship is not the kind where. Yeah. We don't we don't have to text each other everyday
Yeah, when we do it's like yeah, that's fine. Yeah, no for sure yeah, and we use Kakao
iMessage
We sometimes face time like very rarely though, but yeah, that's basically how is it it's pretty easy?
Yeah, it's pretty easy, and I'm pretty bad at like checking up on people
But like a lot of my friends understand that so every time we haven't seen each other for a while
When we do meet up it's like back to where like we pick up from where we left off cause we know each other
We're busy, yeah like with our own stuff too, so it's not a big deal for us
Alright, that's it for the Q&A portion. Check out his channel because for the next next portion
I'm at Gyeongbokgung now, waiting on Ashley, and then we're gonna go to a museum and have dinner together
There's too many people so
We're finding something else to do. Welcome back~
You can finish it right? Yeah, you can (Dude, idk. It's a lot of meat)
Actually it's healthy
Yeah, healthy food is expensive
Being healthy is expensive
And there's rice in there
In the chicken? Mmhmm
This is seriously the best Samgyetang place I've ever been to in Korea
We needed this
She's gonna take me to a cafe wow there's a lot here
I do that too. Calibrate
Okay
Okay, but we were just at Tosokchon Samgyetang. It's a very popular place in Korea
Does it have a Michelin?
I don't know. It's like super famous if you guys visit you have to come here. Tell it Ashley. Gotta come here
Gwiyeopta (so cute)
Kinda down for wine
Are you? Yeah. We got warm wine
And waffle with cream cheese
Yes even though you're lactose intolerant
What is up with that face? Okay, don't burn your tongue? (It's really hot but it's good)
Yay! It's delicious
Try the waffles too Yeah, I will
Oh, this is so cool. It focuses by itself
Met Natalie and Andrea from Australia
All right
It's cold. It's gonna wake me up now. I know we were both yawning. She's jet lagged, and I'm just tired
It's only 7.45 pm I know, but we're gonna go home and sleep
Probably
Hope you guys enjoyed watching today's vlog

first up is a documentary that pretty much everyone on my friends list has
been sharing the absolute hell out. It's Vice's documentary on how to become
the number one fake restaurant on TripAdvisor
this video has had over 30 million views since it was posted just a week ago and
it's had everyone in here laughing their ass off including myself.
The shed is the number one rated restaurant in London you've got every foodie celebrity and
blogger in the city trying to get a table
but the problem is until now it didn't exist
there was DJ Sambience who is literally just playing the sound of a restaurant
and had a trigger pad for a microwave ding
If we want it to be like a real restaurant so it's gotta sound like one. We've got the visual that's
sound! I'd really hate to look stupid doing this.
If the guy you orchestrated this whole prank is
watching this right now all I can say is mate seriously kudos to you you deserve
a medal because you've just basically trolled the entire Internet and the
world and that is a really amazing feat so massive congratulations for put the
absolute sheer balls to pull this off and follow through with it absolutely
amazing yeah yeah literally my blown might blown so everyone else is watching
this right now and you're probably thinking so was this mean for review
scores because we rely so heavily on review scores these days!? Well in
terms of TripAdvisor and restaurants it means that you know everywhere is pretty
good it's more about the company at keeping more than the food that you're
eating so you know what go out to somewhere with your mates and have a
good time that's what it's about. So last week I saw a really crazy post from CES
that someone shared which showed what looked like a bunch of prototype robots
and you can have your personality downloaded into a small plate and
inserted into these robots to you kids essentially live forever and yet when
you see stuff like this it sent my Black Mirror Sense tingly like completely
off the scale. These robots are called sleeves what they're referring to and you had a
bunch of presentations from people that were involved in the company when I saw
this it kind of look legit but also kind of just like this not something quite
right about this even my mate Darren Dyk was posting a selfie in front of
these things so you just like well are these things like how far away is this
technology is this really the legit or am I being trolled here turns out they are
actually part of a viral marketing campaign for new series called
Altered Carbon which is coming out on Netflix in the early part of February
obviously after seeing this it peaked my interest and I checked out the trailer
for Altered Carbon and all I can say is wow it's just like someone went into my brain and
made a TV series like just for me and I'm pretty sure you guys would be into
it as well. Your body is not who you are you shed it like a snake sheds its skin
we transfer the human consciousness between bodies
to live eternal life. How long have I been down for? Two hundred and fifty years
after seeing the gorgeous trailer for this it absolutely looks like up my street. It almost
looks like Blade Runner 2049 had a fever dream and this was the Netflix series
that came out of it which I am totally on board with.
the mystery needs to be solved
In film recommendations I recently saw The Belko Experiment which as the
poster suggests is kind of a mash-up between the office and Battle Royale
Stage one commence. His head exploded from the inside what when we start
working here at they the tracers sit in the back of their heads
you must not remove the tag from your body follow our directives or we will
detonate the explosive in two minutes we want 30 of you dead if 30 of you are not
dead we will end 60 of your lives ourselves. And in office related violence
I also saw the film Mayhem recently and It's kind of like 28 days later if it
just happened to involve just one tower block but it's actually really well put
together and it's kind of a nice blend between comedy and violence which is
kind of my favorite thing.
say hello to the ID 7 virus
stress hormone levels rise causing inhibitions to drop and basic instincts to rise to the surface
all traces of the virus should be eliminated in approximately 8 hours what are we
supposed to do for the next eight hours
try to remain calm
hey extreme measures right
this is our shot
I'm offering 150 grand for Joe's head I'm talking about murder here you should
be offering at least 450
and as a throw back to the film that came out in
2014 I recently got pointed to this film called
These Final Hours which is essentially a film about the end of the world and how
one man to spend his last few hours so asteroid has hit the earth and is
causing a massive shockwave to go around the entire world completely wiping all
life as we know it. I have a real fascination with human drama and how we
would handle these situations at the end of the world was to come and we had a
few hours left to survive
I just hope you're all keeping safe out there
you're surrounded by your familys. Hold on
seeing the world through the protagonist point of view is really fascinating
because you get to see a little cross-section of just how quickly our
world would crumble once there is no more well to be a part of so I highly
highly recommend checking out if you're even just a little bit interested and
last stop this week I wanted to talk about the artist MDK I recently
discovered this page when he was posing his new design for his clothing range
for the scrap yard a boomtown this year and it absolutely peaked my interest and
looking at Instagram and the rest of his Facebook page I was absolutely blown
away with some of the stuff that he's got on there he's got a very graphic
bold but intricate sort of style so it's definitely worth checking out if you
want to check out his Facebook or Instagram or anything else but I've been
talking about today I'll post all the links in the description below
and that is just gonna about do it for this week you guys remember if you like what I do here hit
that like button if you've seen any of the films that I've talked about and you
want to let me know if they're any good or not or if you have anything that you
would recommend saying that I should check out let me know I'm always up for
watching more films I'm a down time when I can because I God knows I need some
more of that I also just recently released two little paper packs for my
patreon as well as a reward the lower tiers on there so you want to get some
really high quality images for your PC or your phone just check out my patreon
it's patreon.com/surrealflix and check out the rewards tiers down
remember as always if you like what I do then hit that like button if
you're new here hit that subscribe button thank you guys all so much for
watching much love to all of you and I will see you next time
so lets just take a night deep breathe
that's healthy
lovely fresh air
I'll post all the description
yeah I'll post all the description in the links
ahhh I can't even get to the end of this sentance

Former Pizza Shop Worker Charged For Trying To Rob Restaurant - Duration: 0:37.-------------------------------------------
Restaurant Takeaway Menu Design in London - Duration: 3:22.-------------------------------------------
Buckhead Life Restaurant Group | Digium Switchvox Video Case Study - Duration: 6:25.We have thirteen restaurants in Atlanta and in South Florida.
All types of restaurants: a steakhouse, seafood, French restaurant, Italian...
We have our own bakery.
The company started in 1979 with the restaurant being the first fine dining restaurant in
the city of Atlanta.
The phone system is so important to our lifeline for our guests and for our staff.
That's how we take all of our reservations.
Plus internally, just getting from restaurant
to restaurant, that's how we communicate with each other.
We replaced the phone system because our previous setup was end-of-life.
It was over.
We wanted something that is more user-friendly.
This was easy to use.
We wanted to make sure we're staying on top of the technology that's out there.
I wanted to have a professional sounding on-hold, music, and voice, and be able to advertise
while people are on hold trying to get to the right person.
And again, we wanted to make sure they can get through is the number one priority.
So that's being live 100% of the time and not worrying if the phones are working.
We looked around.
We looked at several different systems.
We looked at Shoretel along with the Digium, we looked at Avaya.
We did our due diligence.
We had a couple of different presentations come in.
And because we have a wide range of stores, we have the corporate offices, where we have
all of our back-office, so we have thirty-five plus people here, in addition to about fifty
lines total, and then each of our stores has somewhere between five and twenty lines and
different of people as well...
So that's how we decided that we were going to come to the Digium system.
We worked with Emerald Data Networks for many years, and they've been a great advisor, a
great partner.
We trust what their judgment is.
The relationship with Emerald and Buckhead has been, gosh, it's over 20 years now.
I mean when I very first started here back in 1996, they were one of the first customers
that I came to.
We do voicemail.
We do... We actually do some pretty sophisticated call-flow analysis at times.
For example, in one of the restaurants, we have certain time windows where if the phone's
not answered within the first set number of rings, and I think usually it's six or
seven, then we ring into a group that actually pages the manager to let him know that the
phone didn't get answered in the time they've been told that they have to answer the phone,
right?
Depending on the individual person who was getting a phone dictated the model.
Some of them full-featured phones, some of them are advanced, and then others, less-featured
phones.
And then the services of course are the customizable messaging.
And in the back offices, we use it for a lot more than that.
We use it for our integration with our credit card system.
We use it with for our integration with our gift cards system.
We use it for marketing.
So it has a lot of uses beyond that in the back office.
For the front office, it's a restaurant, right?
We need to answer the phones, take the calls and take the reservations.
If they call us after hours we'll pick them up and call them back the next day.
We did a one-day rollout.
We ordered all the phones into our office.
We plugged the phone system and all the phones into a local network, let them all get their
IDs, assign all the users to the individual phone sets, set up all their presets for their
buttons, and print all the labels out and put them in.
We didn't feel anything.
Everybody that worked down here, we just came in the next day, and we had new looking phones,
that's the only difference we saw.
So we basically came in, we racked up the system, we set the phones out on the desks,
we turned them on...
Boom!
Everything was done.
Their name was up.
Their pre-dials were already set.
They were good to go.
I think one of the biggest things is the message on hold, and just our message when people
call up, they hear what our marketing piece is, we do a lot of different promos...
They have several, maybe not hundreds, but tens of different recordings that they do
every year for marketing purposes, whether it be something at Halloween, or at Christmas,
or Thanksgiving.
Or whether we do things like temporarily closed, or, you know, we're having an ice
day or whatever here in Atlanta...
I have an on-hold reminder, which is one of the few things... We cherish our guests, and
we want them to not be forgotten.
This new system alerts you when it gets to 30 seconds into the phone call.
It beeps and also blinks to remind me if somebody is on hold, but it makes a sound too.
I think they, if they thought about it, they would say that the voice quality is better
than what they had before.
And that's probably because of the HD phone sets.
I think our staff is very excited to use it because they just know, "Hey, it's just simple."
It's not too complicated.
"What extension do I press, what do I do?"
It's just very user-friendly to transfer calls, to accept calls... all that.
One of the reasons we switched was because of the savings.
It was no cables running from pole to pole, but using a smarter way of communicating which
was not only better quality but was more efficient financially I would say.
Previously, one of the things that we tried to do was make sure that it would be very
easy through our POS System, our Point of Sales System, and our reservation system,
we made it easy to, if somebody called the restaurant, and we didn't have a seat for
them tonight at 7:30 at the Fish Market, it made it easy for us to go ahead and be able
to book them a reservation across the street at Chops at 7:30, right?
So, one of the things that we've done with the phone system is that we've made it easy
to also transfer those calls over.
So if for some reason, they want to talk to somebody a Pricci, for example, and they can't
get a reservation here, but we see there is on available at Pricci we can make it, but
they want to talk to somebody there, we can very easily two-touch transfer them over to
the restaurant and the phone system helped enable that.
As far as satisfaction goes from our guests that attend the restaurants, I would
hear about it, if there were problems.
But I don't hear about it.
So it's gotta be good.
We call it the lifeline of our restaurant.
Even with all the technology, people making reservations online...
Anybody that is really serious about dining with us, uses it to talk to a live person,
and it's like our bread and butter. Absolutely.
Hi everyone! Back in 2017 I finished my second year study at fashion school,
and before I start back at fashion school, which is at the end of February, I thought it might
be a good time to reflect back on what the past two years have been like and give an insight to anyone
who is interested in studying fashion. We will start this video with a small Q&A and then get more in-depth
by going through my school books and showing all the work that goes into it.
Before I begin, there is another reason for why I'm combining both the first and second year of fashion into one video,
I have been to two different schools for both of these years and have discovered that
depending on the Institute they will teach these things in either year.
So if you not taught all of these things in the first year, you're probably Just gonna pick it up in the second year.
While each school who teach the same degree have to follow the specific curriculum,
in my case that is for the Bachelor of design, specializing in fashion design.
There will be some different ways that they like to teach the degree. So while you may not be learning the
exact same stuff as I have, there will be some kind of interchangeable or similar way to it.
On my Instagram, I asked if anyone had any questions about what it was like to study fashion design, and here are your questions.
c_bynes asks: How hard is it to perfect your tailoring and cutting skills?
Usually the first year at fashion school is more focused towards the pattern cutting, drafting, sewing and other
tailoring techniques, more so than the designing itself. Which can be a bit of a downer for anyone
who is more interested in the creative and designing part of fashion.
But it is so important to get those technical skills up to speed. When entering fashion school,
you will meet people with all levels of cutting and tailoring experience
and it can be quite difficult to get into if you haven't done it before. But trust me it gets a lot easier as you practice, and you will have
plenty of opportunities to practice, I can assure you. I'm still far from perfect, but it's not as scary as one might think.
naystardoll asks: To be a stylist, do you have to know how to sew, and what is your favorite brand?
From what I know of, styling has different requirements than designing. You need to understand fashion of course, and fashion school definitely helps with that.
However, sewing isn't usually a significant requirement when it comes to styling in particular.
I have heard of styling courses at fashion schools overseas, which I think would be a great experience,
But we don't really have those kind of resources readily available in New Zealand just yet. There seems to be a lot of expectation around
self-directed education rather than formal education (even though fashion school would definitely help).
When styling, sewing just isn't really as important as other factors as branding, understanding your clients and business, as you're usually
sourcing the clothes and not necessarily making them yourself. My favourite brands are usually more small elusive street brands
particularly from Japan. These being HeiHei and NIIMI among others.
I usually get my fashion fix from following Tokyo Fashion, which feature many different street snaps of Tokyo street styles
which is where I get a lot of my favorite brands and designers from.
lolinha asks: How were the two years of studying fashion? How did you create a collection and how did you learn more about fashion?
These past two years have been a lot, as you will see. Unfortunately I can't show you all of my books
because some are still at school, but it has honestly been a couple of years
which I have learnt a lot from and really appreciate the experience.
I have greatly enjoyed these years (and have cried a lot more than I would like to admit!)
However, this is pretty much what it's gonna be like an any fast-paced learning environment.
While going through the good and the bad,
I feel as if I am growing and improving as both a designer and as an individual.
About how I made my recent collection, my previous video actually goes through the process on how that worked out
and the fashion show at the end of it. However that video didn't show everything that went into the assessment criteria, which I will show you
in a few minutes. The entire process to design and construct a collection takes place over weeks, if not months while at school.
and as the years go by a fashion school, you will slowly take on more responsibilities, and have to make more garments,
but I'm really excited to get into that. Anyway, now's a good time to start looking at my fashion school workbooks, so let's get started!
Before I begin, as I attended two different schools in each of the two years
Some work tends to cross-over which I think works great to show how
differently the same subject can be taught. Just so things are easy to understand,
I will refer to my first year work as 'School A' and my current fashion school as 'School B."
Already you can see there's a considerable difference in the height of these piles, but to be honest
I feel like the same amount of work has actually been done between both years,
It's just that this school really likes things being put into portfolios and looking nice,
which just makes it 'bigger.' Before we got to design anything ourselves
We were taught about the design elements and design principles. As you come to learn more about fashion, these things are incredibly important.
So the way that they were taught in 'School A,' there were actually two separate classes we learned this. And in 'School B'
There was just one class we learned about all this. So the way the assessment was broken up at 'School A', this one is called
'Material' and this one is called 'Dress'
The title of Dress class is a bit misleading because we're not making a dress, We're dress-ing someone
The criteria for this class was to select a partner from the class and then design and make a garment specifically for them.
This was a really fun challenge because I usually make women's fashion,
but I was partnered with a guy and his design tastes are very different to mine,
and that was really fun to see fashion from a different perspective. So here's different artists, seeing if I can interpret some sort of colour
combination with it and applying it to the body. So one thing we both really liked were patches.
While my patches are more colourful and rainbow, his patches are a bit more personalised, screen-printed and very one-colour.
It was really cool trying to experiment with that, and seeing how embroidery and different things can change
how the garment looks. I got really into making these drippy paint prints,
so I was trying to experiment that with sweatshirts and very loose garments,
seeing how that would look. I don't think this turned out that great, but it was very good to just experiment with it
anyway, and even if it didn't work, I know that it didn't work, and I can go on to something else.
So here's my first lineup development. Very loose clothing, lots of patches, lots of straps.
There's also quite a few rips and things. Something I remember from when we talked, is that he quite liked the journey
of fashion; how things can degrade over time, how your journeys and experiences can affect the clothing you wear. So from there,
I started to look into putting personalised images onto patches to show his own personal journey on the clothing he is wearing.
From my final lineup, I decided that I would place patches,
but I would show them flowing down the garment, or flowing across the body as a way to show that as the journey continues,
more and more patches will fill up the garment. I decided to make the little sweatshirt here,
so I was just showing how the patches were gonna be placed on the shirt. The final design,
which I might have drawn up the night before the hand-in, so it's a little bit rough,
but I did a painting as well as showing the process of how I made the final garment.
Here are the patches. It's from a year ago, so it's starting to fall apart.
But, it just shows the different symbols of things around the city, places where he grew or had experiences.
So the criteria for this class was that we had to use the different design elements and principles to create a new material.
And I don't mean material as in a fabric, it could be anything.
So for our secondary research, looking online or looking through books at different pictures, and then throughout the city
I looked at different craft stores and looked at different kinds of textured items, purchased them and seeing how
I can manipulate them to become something different.
Showing different ways to weave things, different threads and their pros and cons of using it.
And began to look at some things that were a bit different, such as not even using thread or fabric at all,
but actually using paint and different mediums to see how they can be combined with something else.
Weaving paper and other materials on a weaving loom as well as trying origami and paper folding techniques.
Things got a little bit weird by weaving wire in with gel medium, so it can be bent around,
gluing eyes onto things. Honestly, the weirder the better I think with this class.
Kinda got a bit too carried away here with the googly eyes and other
materials like that. This is where things really started to come together, so instead of just using the googly eyes on their own
I actually cut the backs out of them and used them as windows.
Then we had to make a final sample which was about A3 size.
Because I didn't have a big weaving loom or anything to tie it to, I ended up getting a chair and
laying the legs back and using that as a weaving loom. The final sample is made from a rainbow wool base, the blue around here is
a combination of blue paint, blue glitter and lots of glue. The glitter doesn't flake off or anything and it's actually quite squishy
so it's really fun to play around with. All the samples that were shown in this book have been stuck into my big portfolio.
It's much nicer to see them in real life and see how they sparkle,
as well as the texture and how different it is. This was one of the weirder classes that I took,
But it was really fun to just go a bit loose and a bit crazy on things so yeah!
This class is called creative process,
and we had to put a portfolio called 'Ways of Seeing', which is just us demonstrating our understanding of the different design elements and principles.
So we had to build different sections, title pages, showing primary and secondary research.
We took little field trips going around the city, taking photos, which is our primary research.
Then looking online and in books from other artists and designers,
and that worked as our secondary research. And from our research we had to make a couple of exercises showing our understanding, so here I
did things like using tracing paper over images to create a print.
I won't show all of it, but I'll just browse through and show you a couple pages.
So for Shape and Form, we used paper cutouts and other 3D objects
to apply it to the model, and then traced over to see how it manipulated the body
I think tracing paper works well to make everything look a little bit more professional.
Especially considering that I was using my phone camera to take all these photos.
For Texture, we went around the city and took rubbings of things like the concrete or grates, anything that had an interesting texture to it.
And then we applied it to models here, to once again create some form of print.
My favorite section is colour, because we took our primary research and made colour palettes out of them.
And from there, we created different tints and tones and messed with some very basic prints
to see how they would change depending on the color used. Pressed some flowers to see how the color changes over time.
Just more drawing images and overlays, and I always have to put something holographic in here somewhere..
so that's my contribution. I love this water marbling, I cannot recommend it enough. It is
really good and an easy way to put colour into something. A class you will definitely learn within the first year is patternmaking/drafting.
This is what I learned from 'School A' and this is what I learned from 'School B'.
From both schools, we did all of our planning on paper,
so it's a lot easier to understand and you can just carry it with you whenever. Patternmaking is very focused around mathematics
as well as visualizing (before drafting it up to a bigger size),
so if you're like me and not very good at math, don't worry! Just use a calculator, it's saved me quite a few times.
We start off with very simple things, drafting blocks as well as doing things like t-shirt dresses and gathering.
The interesting part of patternmaking is that we learnt how to draft the patterns up in two different ways. The first way is that you
can use normal paper, a very large sheet that you are able to get very hands-on and draft it up.
The other way to draft patterns is that you can do it on the computer, using a digital patternmaking system.
And that is what I did here, I just took screenshots off the pattern and just wrote up the measurements on top so I can use them whenever.
And here is where we get into my collection patternmaking so this is from the mini-collection
I made at the end of last year. Not only did we have to show the technical drawing,
but our mock-ups and the process we took to draft the pattern. So these pages are
dedicated towards the two t-shirts that I had. They were both very simple patterns
So they weren't that hard to do. This is for the bomber jacket,
Which was probably the more complicated garment to make because it had a full lining. The hoodie dress, which I
really love and I'm going to keep this pattern and use it in the future. And on the digital patternmaking system
I drafted up both the denim skirt, as well as the jeans. One thing that also helped me, when drafting a lot of the garments use the same
same templates and symbols. So what we did is that we made little cutouts of the blocks that we did
And just trace around them. It made everything so much faster.
Considering we learnt this all in a very short amount of time, I am very happy with how everything turned out and everything fitted very well.
So, thank goodness. Patternmaking for 'School A' was actually one class, but I ended up putting it into two books.
This course us mostly just a basic introductory
To patternmaking. We never actually make any garments. Instead, we made paper toiles which is a downright pain when you had to tape
The clothing to the model, otherwise everything went pretty well I think.
This class mostly focused only around dresses and skirts, very basic forms.
We had to make six individual concepts, and with each concept we had to show how we made the pattern from the block.
So, showing how we cut into the pattern and manipulated it to look completely different.
It really helps colour-coding these things, because I would have been completely lost if I didn't. The final design was expected to be the most complex one,
and then showing the development and how it was done.
Lots of research here, we had to show our process of the class exercises we did.
The dresses here weren't very complicated at all. They were very basic, fitted or only slightly loose garments.
We weren't really taught that much beyond it, so this is why I think this is the most basic
introductory course you could get on this subject. I think this class was really good for anyone who hasn't done fashion before,
because it can be quite daunting starting off. So doing something a bit more simpler can really make a difference.
This book is so full that it's starting to fall apart!
But it is a combination between 'School A' and 'School B', and this class is Construction class.
We're expected to build a portfolio around all the techniques we had learned. There is also a bit of patternmaking in here as well.
If you haven't studied fashion before it's really good, because it starts with the basics like seams. And as you go through you start
learning other techniques, like different pockets. It's also really handy to keep construction notes on how to put them together because I
instantly forget it as soon as we've learnt something like this. So to keep notes or at least take photos of it really helps.
We learnt about zippers, pant flies,
Waistbands.. so even if you're not very good at doing some of the more complicated techniques,
there are the simple ones that you can master very easily. What I did find interesting because this is a page from 'School B',
we only let this in one week, which is about the panel lines and dart manipulation. Whereas this took us six months at 'School A'.
It doesn't necessarily mean that one school did it better than the other. It just shows that there are differences to how they like
to teach and what different schools like to focus on. There's a lot of work here, I can't really show it all. Once you get into fashion school you learn all these things yourself,
It's not as daunting as one might think. And it's really helpful to keep this around, or keep it in a cupboard somewhere, so you don't lose it.
This book is from both the patternmaking and construction class.
At fashion school, you would definitely be building these spec sheets, but they will probably look quite different to this.
So for each garment we made or were expected to make,
we had to build these spec sheets showing our fabric samples, any techniques we were going to use as well as any trims
that we needed to get before then. Some of these I've done at home on my own of garments that I've already made,
but I want to remember the different techniques I did so if I wanted to make it again, I could.
This is a spec sheet for the bomber jacket that I finished recently, so it was really handy to have this on hold
so I can use it anytime I wanted. And these are a couple of the spec sheets that I had for the mini-collection,
the rest of them are at school unfortunately. So this book in particular is very heavy. A lot of work has gone into it and the class for it is Textiles.
It's probably not that interesting to just look at, you really need to read through it and there's just too much of it to show.
The class was focused around showing understanding of different fibre types as well as different fabric weaves.
Here's a lot.. a lot of stuff that we had to do. Just showing our
understanding as well as building a resource that we can use later on.
So we've got our protein fibers, cellulosic fibers and synthetic fibers..
Just a lot of stuff here. Doing things like burnt tests, so we know how to identify different fibres.
Different kinds of twists and yarns. If this is stuff that seems unfamiliar to you, don't worry.
You're gonna learn all of this within the first year,
It's exactly what you go to the school for. My favourite part was more about the dyeing process,
so seeing color fastness,
How dfferent processes can affect how much color stays in or the color itself. Tea dyeing,
so with different types of tea. Most of this is just writing, so it is a difficult thing to put into a video.
These are both from 'School B' and are both garment assessment workbooks.
We're expected to both design and make a garment. This is from the end-of-year mini collection,
And then this is from a shirt assessment we did earlier on. It was originally in a book, but the folder broke recently,
so we're just gonna have to make do. The assessment criteria for this was to design and make a shirt with specific construction techniques.
Everything else like the inspiration and style was up to us.
So my concept was "To design a shirt which appears to combine both the real world and the digital realm."
Compulsory research, looking at the history of shirts and designers that I found quite interesting
and I thought were relevant for my design development. I quite liked this part because involved colour and photo manipulation.
So I took a couple of photos around the city and pixelated them,
and then turn them into some sort of fabric print to see how that affected the body.
Then continuing from this, I used paper and cut out various shapes
and stuck them onto models. Some worked out better than others.
One thing i've noticed about fashion school is that they really love when you experiment with different techniques and processes.
So this is something very digital, then back to traditional, and digital again, but in a different way.
Quick design development. There were specific techniques and processes we had to put into our final garment,
so I was trying to play with that to see how I could also make that work with my concept. A little bit more
experimentation with pixelating the body and seeing how that affects things. Going from the pixel art I did earlier,
I ended up starting to make some stencils that I would apply to the fabric.
Starting to think about ideas like if the fabric wasn't meant to look like this, it's broken like a broken texture in a video game.
I ended up finding this really cool patched denim fabric and made it into this cool
pixelated broken-image-thing, and that ended up being the main fabric for my final garment.
So once the final design was made, we had to do this thing called a 'storyboard.'
This is mostly just to show the final designs; front and back view, swatches, what it's about as well as a bit of the inspiration behind it.
Here's a little bit about it, "The technology behind the shirt dress has been created from has
malfunctioned and distorted from the original design as a result. The shell of the garment is still intact,
but visually it seems corrupt and fragmented."
So here's the final garment. The denim patch fabric actually came patched as it is, but these little blue squares
I had to cut out and sew in individually.
This is a fun little extra. When I have concept designs or drawings that don't really fit any of my portfolios
I make them into a little scrapbook which I can use later and keep a hold of them.
This is all from 'School A', little concept jacket designs and other little space inspired garments.
Concepts from the end of year collection that just never made it into the workbook.
Here's something, we had to do a technical drawing assessment,
so instead of doing the technical drawings on the computer, we had to do them on pen and paper, and show the details of different garments.
Different garment details on shirts, pants and other things. This book here is from the mini collection,
which I made only a few months ago. I've already shown this book on my channel,
so feel free to check out my previous video to see how it all went as well as how I made the final garments.
I will show you all a few pages anyway,
this is the design that I wanted to print on the back of the shirt. As I keep going and as I keep
designing I actually wanted to make two final designs. Much of this collection was based around space and the infinity of it,
so there's a lot of space symbolism and stars.
These two were the final proposed designs to be screen-printed onto the shirts,
and here are one of the shirts to show what they look like.
This is the back of the shirt. The print itself is about A3 size,
and then on the front of the shirt there's a much smaller and similar design.
Not only did I design t-shirts, but there was also a bomber jacket, a hoodie dress, denim skirt..
All together there were about six garments.
So here was the final design of the bomber jacket, the denim skirt as well as the t-shirt you just saw. And here is the final bomber jacket star.
So yeah!, That's pretty much all that there is to show so far.
I hope this has helped anyone interested in studying fashion design,
and given some sort of insight to what it's like. If you have any further questions,
feel free to ask them below or contact me on social media. I hope you all have a wonderful day,
thank you for watching, and I'll see you later!

What Happened to Removable Batteries in Smartphones? - Duration: 5:23.[[ Like Comment Share Subscribe ]]
Hey guys, it's me Rahul, and today I would like start this video with a question, When was
the last time you used or even saw a smartphone with removable battery ?
I assume the answer is "a Long time ago", because I can't remember the last time I
have used one.
Which got me wondering "what happened to removable battery smartphones?
. Why.. all flagship devices these days has non removable battery even though a lot of
users prefer the option of having the ability to swap out batteries.
The only phones which still has removable batteries are budget phones and feature phones,
which somewhat indicates that normal users actually prefer removable battery so they
can swap out when they need and replace the battery with ease
Another factor which comes into play when we talk about the advantages and disadvantages
of removable batteries is "safety", users actually feel more safe using a phone with
removable battery, and the option to swap out to a new one when need is a really compelling
feature for a normal user .Even with all these demands for removable battery smartphones,
why major smartphone manufacturers aren't making them anymore, let's find out.
Let's start with most obvious reason behind this shift, Apple.
Apple is the biggest tech giant in the world and they can influence a lot of what is going
on in the tech space.
If you take a look at apple's history of iPhones, not even the first iphone has a removable
battery.
Iphone's have always been and will be a monolithic device with built in battery. Why
are they doing it from the start ? there are a couple of reasons,
What i think is the main reason behind this way of designing is something called "abstraction
" in tech abstraction means hiding certain details from the user in order to provide
security and convenience.
Apple have always been known for these things, that is why they are so successful as a company.
Selling an iphone as a single unit makes a lot of sense, the customers who are buying
these phones don't have to worry about the battery inside it.
But like anything there is another reason as well, profit .
Let's consider an example, imagine you have a phone which has a removable battery, and
for some reason , you are having problems with the battery, what will you do? You goto
a nearby mobile shop and buy a new battery right?, but consider this same situation
and this time you cannot replace the battery by yourself because it is builtin.
If you want to get the problem fixed you need to goto an official store and get it fixed,
which will cost twice as much, and what most people will do in this scenario is, they will
buy a new phone,.
This is a very shady business strategy that some companies do.By making everything built
in and inaccessible to normal user, these companies control what you can and can't do
with your own phone and will make you buy a new one by setting the repair fee very close
to half the price of a new phone.
I don't hate apple, I love their products , iphones are truly incredible devices, but
because of their decision of going with a built in battery from the start influenced
all the other manufacturers to do the same.
I don't entirely believe other manufactures copied apple just because they thought that
it will sell more devices,
There are few other reasons as well.
No1 is unibody design.
it basically means that you cannot open up or remove the battery.
some of the pros of unibody design is that internal parts of your phone will have more
protection compared to other designs and your device will be somewhat water resistant, and
it also allows manufacturers to reduce the footprint and thickness of a device which
will in-turn make the device feel more premium (by using glass and metal) and easy to handle.
The 2nd reason is "battery design".When I say the term "phone battery " this might
be the image that comes to your mind.
That is all gonna change in few years,
By making the batteries built in to the board of the phone, manufacturers have the freedom
to change the design of the cell, they no longer have to follow the traditional design,
they can design batteries in such a way that it takes full advantage of the empty spaces
inside a phone's chassis, like on the 12-inch macbook pro.
This is a great advantage of non removable batteries, it gives freedom to manufacturer
to make batteries that are more efficient ,reliable and with a bigger capacity without
making the phone bulky.
Reason no 3 "power banks", the wide use and availability of power banks literally
killed the removable battery design, it made removable batteries pointless.
There is no reason to carry an extra battery when you can carry a power bank which can
maybe charge your device twice., and these battery bank cases that are so popular nowadays
made it so easy to carry a power-bank with you wherever you go.
And with all these merits I don't think removable battery is ever gonna come back
. And i'm glad that we have moved on to a much better design.

So I started making electronic music back when I was in high school,
I've been playing piano practically my whole life. Porter Robinson is probably my favorite electronic musician out there.
His "Worlds" album is amazing. For me, making this kind of music
is a pretty good creative outlet. What I do, my creative process, is
I just boot up Ableton, the program I use, and I search through sample libraries,
see what sounds cool, mess around on the keyboard, just see what happens.
I want people to be able to collect their own ideas from it. I want them to be able to gather
what kind of emotions they want to feel from it. I just want to be able to offer a creative approach

BTS Shares Individual Goals For 2018 + What They Think Was The Key To Their Success - Duration: 7:53.BTS Shares Individual Goals For 2018 + What They Think Was The Key To Their Success
In a recent interview, BTS opened up about their individual goals for the future and what they thought was the key to their success.
After BigHit CEO Bang Shi Hyuk on the reasons behind BTSs meteoric rise to international stardom, it was the BTS members turn to give their own opinions on the matter.
Soompi. Display. News. English.
300x250. BTF Soompi. Mobile. English.
300x250. ATF.
When asked what they thought had enabled them to become so successful, Suga replied, I myself was curious about this, so Ive given it a lot of thought.
I think its hard to point to just one thing.
But it seems like it started from the fact that we said the things that someone needed to say, but that no one did..
He went on, Recently, Ive been feeling restless and thinking, How did I use to make music in the past? When I looked back, I remembered what Bang Shi Hyuk told us from the beginning.
We were sitting together in a small studio, and he said, What kind of story do you want to tell? Think of a subject that matches this beat. I think we started off with the messages Respect our individual preferences and How come no one talks about school and society?.
What I find most unfortunate is that some people, after analyzing us, say that we succeeded only because of our use of social media.
Kim Saeng Min, who served as the MC at our fan meeting, recently complimented us on a podcast, saying, Not only are they good at what they do, they also work hard, which makes them unbeatable. When I heard that, I thought that he must really have been able to see how much effort we put in.
I was moved by the fact that, after five years, people are starting to notice..
Meanwhile, RM remarked, Weve received this question countless times, and I think Ive personally answered it more than 200 times.
As I kept answering, the answer gradually became clearer to me over time..
The BTS leader began by saying, I want to applaud producer Bang Shi Hyuks keen eye.
We started out as a hip hop crew, and Bang Shi Hyuk thought that he needed to find rappers who would say the things that ought to be said for society.
We were rappers that were able to implement that vision, and we also had members with strong dance and performance skills.
I think that the secret to BTSs success can be summed up with the keywords sincerity and skills.
I think the public can see sincerity.
However, people focus only on the fact that we communicated a lot with our fans through social media, lamented RM.
Since were singers, I think whats more important is that the quality of our music and performances has to be good above all else.
With that level of quality as a foundation, there was also our sincerity and the message we wanted to send.
Our consistent and frequent communication [with our fans] added to that, and Bang Shi Hyuk used his keen eye to support us in all of those aspects.
He gave us freedom..
He added, I think were a good example of an artist collaborating with an agency as business partners.
BTS also revealed their individual goals for 2018. Suga expressed that he wanted to improve his foreign language skills, mentioning English and Japanese in particular, while V remarked, Id like to be really good at singing.
I plan to focus all of my energy on working hard at this one thing..
J-Hope reported wanting to take better care of his health, saying, We have a lot of plans scheduled for this year, and if we want to accomplish those things, health needs to be a top priority.
He also hinted at the release of the solo mixtape eagerly anticipated by many of his fans.
The mixtape that Ive been working on since last year is going to be released soon, he revealed, so Ive been immersed in trying to create good music.
I hope a lot of people listen to it and like it..
Jungkook commented, Because theres always so many things I want to do, Ive never ended up doing them properly.
But I think that this year, I need to do something that will help me in my career as a singer..
Thats why I dont play games these days, he explained.
I want to learn to play classical music on the piano, and I want to be good at foreign languages and singing.
I plan to work hard at just those three things..
Jin chimed in, Last year, Jungkook started playing the drums, and I started learning to play the guitar at the same time.
But when Jungkook stopped playing the drums, I ended up also not playing the guitar anymore.
So now that Jungkook has started learning to play the piano, Im going to dig out my guitar and try to match his progress.
Eventually, Id like to form a BTS band..
Jimin said that he needed more time to decide his goals for the year ahead, while RM replied simply, Right now, its our.

How To Clean The Registry, What Programs Can Be Used and How To Do It Manually ♻️📜👨💻 - Duration: 7:31.Hello everybody!
This video will show you how to clean the registry, what programs can be used and how
to do it manually.
Sooner or later, everyone using a computer faces the problem of its performance getting
worse and errors appearing when Windows boots or when you start other programs.
In the end, you realize it's time to clean the registry.
There are numerous programs to optimize the work of your computer and clean the registry.
In this video, we will have a look at the most popular apps.
So, let's begin.
CCleaner CCleaner is one of the most popular and well-known
tools to clean the computer registry.
In addition, it has lots of functions to optimize your PC in every way.
They include a system cleaner, a software uninstaller and startup management.
Its latest versions support uninstalling Windows 10 standard applications.
You can download the program from the official website.
Find the download link in the description.
First of all, download and install the program, and you're not likely to have any difficulties
at this stage.
The only important aspect is to check the language settings in the upper left corner
- the default language is English.
After the installation, run the program, go to the tab "Registry," click on "Scan
for issues" and wait a little.
When the scan is over, click on "Fix selected issues..."
The program will suggest you to save a registry backup copy, and you should do it to be on
the safe side; in case you have any problems, you can always restore the registry to the
previous condition.
You can save the backup to your desktop, for example.
Now click on "Fix all selected issues" and the registry will be cleaned.
Run the scan again - no issues are found.
If you use the previously saved backup copy, it is supposed to restore to the registry
the data deleted by the application.
Wise Care 365
Wise Care 365 is another program to help you clean the registry.
This software package includes a Windows registry cleaner, a hard disk optimizer, as well as
other system utilities to make your PC work faster and better.
You can find the download link in the description Run the program and click on System Cleaner
to clean the registry.
The first line on the list is Registry Cleaner, so click on Scan.
After the scan, the program will show you information on any registry problems.
Select cleaning and the registry is now clean and sound.
Manual cleaning
The larger your registry grows, the worse your computer performs.
Registry cleaner utilities are not an ideal tool for removing unnecessary lines from the
registry.
It is because they do their cleaning job based on a certain set of rules which may not work
with your registry.
If you are an expert user, you can clean the registry manually by removing the entries
left by the programs that have been uninstalled long ago, or remove programs from the startup
section.
You should always remember that wrong cleaning can damage your operating system.
That is why we recommend manual registry cleaning to experienced users only.
Now before you start it, press the key shortcut Win+R, enter "regedit" in the window that
opens and click OK.
You should always back up your registry so that you can restore everything if things
go wrong.
Click File/Export, specify the name and click Save.
You can watch one of our videos to see how to restore the registry from a backup.
Find the link in the description.
If you know the name of the program that has been uninstalled, you can delete the files
left behind in the registry or a virus that is hiding there.
To do it, click Edit/Find, enter the program name and click Find Next.
In the course of the search, we can see a registry file of an uninstalled program which
we don't need anymore.
Right-click on it and select Delete.
In addition, you can follow the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software и HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE to view and
clean folders of the previously removed programs.
If you have a 64-bit operating system, you will also see a folder named WOW6432Node containing
a list of installed programs as well.
With the Registry Editor, you can also remove entries from the startup menu.
Startup settings deal with two registry keys with the folder Run:
In Windows 7 and 10, they can be found by following the path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run – the
startup folder of the current user; In the same path, but in the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run – there is also a folder named Run, but
this is a startup location for all users.
Select the unnecessary program, right-click on it and select Delete.
If you suspect there is a virus in your computer, there is a good video in our channel about
finding the malware in your registry and removing it.
Find the link in the description.
Modifying the registry with Windows registry editor is a risky process as it doesn't
have the Cancel function (which you'll need when you accidentally remove a good registry
key).
If you are new to this process, just don't edit the registry manually.
And before you start doing it, make sure you have made a backup copy.
If you have even the slightest doubts whether you should delete a registry key or not, never
delete it if you're not absolutely sure that you don't need it.
You can always look it up on the Internet.
That is all for now.
Hit the Like button and subscribe to Hetman Software channel.
Leave comments to ask questions.
Thank you for watching.
Good luck.

I Tried Coconut & Honey Hair Mask - Here's What Happened - Duration: 4:01.do you want to find out whether a coconut and honey air mask is actually useful
we'll keep on watching this video.
As you can see I have died hair and it gets dry
very often it's so annoying so I kind of have to use oils anyway to keep them
healthy and shiny and whatever. And you know what I thought, honey and coconut
combination might actually be interesting, and I wanted to see how it
would work on my hair. As you can see I just washed my hair and but I'm just
doing this for the video but if you were me you wouldn't do that that way okay
I'm just trying to look beautiful okay what am I talking I don't understand
it's recommended to what you're here twice a week otherwise your scalp gets
too dry your skin produces more SEBUM which is oil. And then basically your
hair gets oilier than normal and that's not something we want right no no
no. So basically I'm going to use this coconut honey mask and see how it's
gonna work out and we'll see the results here's how my hair looks right now
before using any masks I just washed them yesterday and for the mask we're
going to need three spoons of coconut oil which we're going to put into
microwave now you're gonna tell me oh no no no you're gonna kill all the
good stuff and coconut oil. Well that's not true the truth. The truth is when you're
cooking oils at high temperatures they start oxidizing. However oils don't
relly oxidise unless they get to the smoking point for coconut oil smoking
point 177 Celsius degrees okay so what you want to do is bring coconut oil to
the microwave turn the microwave to 250 kilowatts and then turn it on for about
45 seconds so you probably gonna ask why is coconut oil good for my hair well the
answer is simple very very simple okay I'm just gonna
coconut oil is actually proved to reduce protein loss in undamaged and damaged
hair which is pretty cool isn't it so that's why we're using coconut oil next
thing you wanna do is add one tablespoon of raw honey to coconut oil
Honey is actually a natural humectant. Do you have any idea what that means? But Wikipedia
says that it's a natural substance that helps to keep things moist for the
final touch I'm going to add two drops exactly two drops of lavender essential
oil. You're probably askin why. A bunch of scientists whoo-hoo Charlie Jason Lee
and Jung chil Kim I'm pronouncing those names great so basically those guys
tested lavender essential oil on mice and found that it significantly
increases the number of hair follicles and deepens the depth of them.
Wow the only problem is that they haven't tested it on humans but
let's assume we work just as mice do hmm so let's try this mask in addition to
the mask I'm going to be using a brush to apply it to my hair roots and a
shower cap to make sure that everything is absorbed into my hair so you want to
start with your roots and go down your hair and make sure it's you know
distributed around it yeah while putting the mask on I noticed that my hair is
getting sticky and I spilled some of the mask on the floor and it got sticky too I
didn't like it as you can see I didn't have enough of the mask so I added a few
more spoons of coconut oil to my hair overall my hair felt quite sticky then I
put the shower cap on and waited for 20 minutes hello guys I just washed my hair
to be frank I had to shampoo them three times I really didn't like that because
they were so sticky and I kind of feel that like they're still stuck together
and that's something I don't like in a way now I will try them out and we'll
see what happens if you're using a hair dryer make sure it has a cold-air
function so you don't burn your hair because that would be kind of
counterproductive yes I think this says it all
So far I notice that my hair is super sticky it's kind of like hay. Perhaps
coconut oil and natural yogurt would work much better but really not honey
anyway would I recommend this mask? NO. I don't recommend using honey for hair
anyway I don't think it's a good choice I don't really see what it does and yeah
my my hair is just really sticky. Anyway if you want to get some useful tips, go to
www.cushyspa.com that's my blog have a lovely day if you want subscribe that's
it bye

After Trump's Tax Cut, Americans Shocked By What They See On Their First Check Of - BreakingNews24 - Duration: 28:03.After Trump's Tax Cut, Americans Shocked By What They See On Their First Check Of Year
The left has been bashing President Donald Trump's tax cuts, saying that it's going
to hurt the American people more than help.
As it turns out, it looks like the results are in, and now that people are getting their
first paychecks, several people have been left shocked by what they see on those little
pieces of paper.
After Trump Tax Cut, Americans Left Shocked By What They See On First Checks Of The Year

Kooiman/Wikimedia Commons, Chris Kleponis-Pool/Getty Images News/Getty Images)
There's no question that Democrats are out to get President Donald Trump.
It seems like every single day, we're hearing some new reason from the left as to why we
should hate the president.
Too bad for them, each attack they launch seems to blow up in their face.
Their attempts grow more desperate and pathetic by the day, and recent events prove no different.
After Trump recently passed a major piece of legislation, his tax cuts, liberals were
quick to say that the president was only out to make businesses richer while the little
man gets mere "crumbs," as Nancy Pelosi likes to call hard-earned cash.
However, it wasn't long before Democrats were eating crow.
Just like that, business after business announced that they would be giving out anywhere between
$1,000 and $2,500 in bonuses to each of their employees, thanks to the money they were set
to save from Trump's tax cut.
Although Democrats were more than embarrassed at the time, things just got a whole lot worse
for them.
Come to find out, Americans all across the country are getting their first paycheck since
Trump's tax cuts, and quite a few people are seeing something a bit different than
what they are used to seeing.
Exposed in quite the interesting Twitter thread, a man who goes by "Federalist Musket"
states that his company issued "its first tax cut payroll" since Trump's policy
went into effect, and his entire office went into hysterics.
Apparently, employees were left absolutely shocked by how much extra money they had on
their check.
So my company issued its first tax cut payroll today, and it's been hilarious around here.
— Federalist Musket (@Patriot_Musket) January 26, 2018
In fact, people were so stunned that they quietly called their boss to make sure that
there wasn't a "glitch" that was responsible for the excess funds.
At first people were calling us here in the IT department in hushed voices.
"Um, did payroll have a glitch or something?
Did you, uh, you know, uh get more money than usual?"
— Federalist Musket (@Patriot_Musket) January 26, 2018
Of course, when "Federalist Musket" started to explain to everyone that the extra money
wasn't a mistake but rather an effect of Trump's tax cuts, well, everyone just about
lost their minds.
No, it's not a glitch.
You got your tax cut today.
"…….I got a tax cut?"
YES!
You and everyone else got the tax cut that was passed in December.
Congratulations!
— Federalist Musket (@Patriot_Musket) January 26, 2018
Although it took a while for people to comprehend what had happened, before long, the entire
office was in high spirits.
Even better yet, everyone was openly talking about how much more they had gotten on their
paychecks thanks to Trump.
It's taking a bit for the news to get around and sink in.
As people are finding out, they are openly talking about how much more they got this
week.
And now they're also talking about how well their 401ks are doing.
— Federalist Musket (@Patriot_Musket) January 26, 2018
In the end, "Federalist Musket" states that he was happy for them — and why wouldn't
he be?
Trump set out to do something great for Americans, and now that people are seeing the effects,
they've been left completely and utterly shocked that these weren't the mere "crumbs"
Democrats had been talking about.
I am genuinely happy for them.
— Federalist Musket (@Patriot_Musket) January 26, 2018
The left wants you to think that President Donald Trump is only out for himself, but
that just isn't the case.
They've also been claiming that these tax cuts would only benefit the rich, but "Federalist
Musket" seems to have singlehandedly obliterated the narrative.
Furthermore, Times Free Press reports that these kinds of changes are going to be seen
all across the country.
This isn't just some tiny insignificant amount — this is such a big boost that it
had an entire office building abuzz at the mere sight of one paycheck.
Along with that, average Americans are now seeing that the tax cuts were meant for all
Americans, not just "greedy corporations."
At this point, the left better get it together because President Trump is mopping the floor
with them.
Everything they warn the American people about turns out to be untrue and all the attacks
on Trump only end up blowing up in their faces.
In the end, Democrats look like a bunch of sniveling school children as they continue
to whine about every little thing.
Americans are waking up to their lies and deceit.
It's only a matter of time before the entire party implodes
once
and
for all.

Have always 100% been honest with you, so this really makes
No difference. I'm going to continue to be honest with you
this past month has been a huge challenge for me I
Went through something and I'm not going to go into the details on that, but I went through something
That basically was one of the hardest things. I've ever had to go through in my life while I've tried to keep up with uploading
Videos while I was going through this struggle
They just haven't been the same
And I'm sure that you've noticed and I'm speaking to you you the people who care who actually are my regular
students who come and
Watch the videos every time I upload and leave me such lovely comments and messages. I'm speaking to you
Because you are the reason or one of the main reasons why I've been continuing to upload for how long I've been
Uploading and you are the reason why I've been
Trying to keep up with the upload schedule of three videos per week
While I was going through such a traumatic
experience
So I know that the nearly 85 hundred subscribers on this channel
I'm not speaking to you because obviously you're not watching this video because you don't really care
So I'm speaking to you the few maybe
hundred people
100 or so people who care and who have been wondering what's been going on so I
Don't want to leave you in the dark anymore. I want to give you an update on everything. That's
going to happen with this channel everything that has happened over the past four weeks on this channel and
I'm just going to tell you what the plan is for this channel moving forward
Just basically give you an overall update on. What is going on because it's very
confusing I'm sure
Since you've been used to me uploading I uploaded for over an entire year
Two to three times per and I never missed a week
Maybe during Christmas week was the only week that I missed so that's quite a long time
And if you've built me as your yoga teacher into your habit
I can understand that that might be frustrating for you, so I just wanted to make an explanation
and give you an explanation as to what is happening so basically I was working on a
21-day beginners course, which is now available?
with
This awesome company called yellow yoga, I will leave the link to where you can find that course
They are selling it for purchase on their website. I spent a lot of time and energy on that course
It is a very thorough
Beginners course for someone who is looking to be introduced to yoga someone who is looking for a thorough
Overall explanation you can do yoga with me every single day, and it takes you through a journey of
Kind of exploring your own personal yoga practice and what yoga is what yoga will mean to you
So when it's 21 days long so first of all if you're watching yellow yoga, thank you so much for the opportunity
For being able to create that course for you because it was a learning experience
And I put a lot of effort into it and it turned out great
I think so for any of you who want to purchase that course?
I will leave it in the description box below so that happened that took up a lot of my time and unfortunately in
the working on that course I missed a few uploads for for that reason because I was working so hard on that course and
I want to get it finished
And I wanted it to be great so that was part of the reason why at the beginning of the month that I?
Miss a few uploads then
I went through something as I said before which I'm not going to give you any specifics on that because it's a personal thing and
It made me question
myself and what I was doing and it really put my career path with this channel in particular in
Question and obviously if your career is being put into question you're going to a little bit of motivation to move forward
I just basically was not motivated to create videos. I had no
no desire to get in front of a camera and
Film for you I had I had no
I was just basically not motivated, and then yes yesterday two days ago
Two of my videos were targeted by I have no idea who someone was putting fake views on
my last video that I posted so the pre-run you know a warm-up video and
A another one that I posted which was a full body yoga workout
I don't want to make assumptions and say that it was somebody who's trying to sabotage me
I don't it could have been just that I was lucky and my videos were chosen by random spammers
I have no idea
But just as a little back story into YouTube when YouTube sees that there are tons and tons of
Fake views so when I say fake views I mean
Views that are being generated by a computer
That are not real people like you
Mewing the video, it's it's somebody who embedded my video on a spam website, and it was
continuously
refreshing and and
Giving me thousands of views
Within an hour and as a small youtuber those kind of views don't actually
Happen that fast. I've accumulated thousands and thousands of views on videos before but they accumulate over time this
This type of video for you growth. It was a alarm for me, and I basically
Researched it right away and found out what it was and that other people have experienced this
I'm very lucky that I caught it early before YouTube flagged me and
I could have gotten a community strike on my channel
which if you're unfamiliar that is not a good thing when you're a YouTube partner, so I took those videos down and
Stopped it in its tracks. I will be taking measures
For my my current videos to prevent that from happening
to any other the other videos that I have on this channel, and I'm hoping to
Make those videos public again the ones that were targeted so that's an explanation for that as to why?
Two videos just randomly went missing especially
Right after or shortly after I posted one so basically the saying when it rains it pours
It's been pouring really hard on me right now that that's saying rings true
and I have been taking quite a few measures to move forward and
Things are actually in
Other areas of my career things are going great. They're moving in a great direction, but that
leaves this channel kind of hanging in the balance basically
I'm not saying that I'm not going to make videos anymore what I'm saying is that I'm taking a break from posting regular
Weekly videos it could be a couple weeks. It could be a month
originally I was actually planning on doing a
Either a month-long challenge for the month of February or a two-week challenge
I was leaning more towards the 14 day challenge, and I was planning it out. I have my notes
I was planning out the sequences and
the extras that I was going to give along with the challenge, but I
Can't right now. I can't
take on that kind of project right now with all the things that I'm going through and
What other things in my career that I'm trying to accomplish?
There is a huge misconception
that YouTube pays a lot of funny that
youtubers just
Make money from making these videos and the reality of that is that we do not I've been
Doing YouTube full-time for the past year and receiving barely anything in return
So these videos are basically charity
I've been doing charity work for the past year and as much as I want to continue doing charity work
doing this type of charity giving you free videos and being there for you on these videos as
Yoga teacher I cannot I need to focus on myself and my career right now. I basically just need a break
I hope you can understand, and I hope you stick around because the videos the
250 nearly
250 videos that are already on this channel are not going anywhere. They are still gonna be here
They are still available for you to watch and practice with me and when I do come back
I hope that you are still here
Because I really enjoyed making these connections with you over the past year, and I know it seems like I'm saying goodbye
But it's not goodbye. It's just an explanation as to
My absence for a little while I will still be
Posting on the insta story on Instagram and sharing some photos on Instagram if you want to follow me over there
Feel free to message me over there email me my email is still good
Still available the website will still be going up. I will be
Continuously redoing that website and making it what it was back when it was on its previous web server
So that's taking some time, but it's still coming along and when I come back
it's likely that I will start it off with this challenge that I've been planning because I
Would love to share that with you
And I think that you would you would like it so keep an eye out for that coming?
I don't know when it's coming, but I'm hoping in a couple of weeks
again lots of resources on my website
I have several premium courses that I sell on my website that you can take advantage of as well
They're just great you can also download my classes or some of my classes on Gumroad
Comm and you can download them for free
But also you can give a slight donation for the classes if you'd like to download them
So I'm not leaving I'm not disappearing completely you can still find me all over the Internet
But I'm just not going to be posting on
here for a little bit longer
And I hope that you can understand that I hope that you take advantage of all the
previous classes that I already have on here and all of the
resources that I have on my website available even the yellow yoga course the
That I created for them as an introduction to yoga
That would be a great thing to do if you still want to take my classes. Thank you for being there
Thank you again. I'm speaking to to the people who always come back and who really care about
My classes and and me as a teacher
And it means a lot to me your kind words in the comments
Mean so much to me and just thank you. Thank you for
Being there, thank you for coming back all the time and just know that when I do come back and when I do
make these videos when I've made them in the past and when I do continue to make them in the future just
Know that they are for you. They're for you who are
The ones that just
care
So thank you
and I guess that's it so I will see you soon and keep in touch and
I'll be back shortly. Just just taking a break. Okay. Bye

Coronation Street news: You won't believe what's coming to Weatherfield… - Duration: 3:51.Coronation Street news: You won't believe what's coming to Weatherfield…
Coronation Street cast members Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie) and Nicola Rubinstein (Nicola Thorp) left viewers perplexed in last nights episode when they brandished cardboard Costa cups while having a chat in Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) salon.
None of the characters had ever been seen going into a Costa on the soap, nor had the chain been discussed by the characters.
The confusion caused Coronation Street fans to come up with their own ideas on Twitter.
Since when has there been a Costa Coffee on Coronation Street? Everyone is suddenly walking around with Costa Cups.
Roy is about to go out of business, one tweeted.
Wheres Costa Coffee in Weatherfield then? another asked.
"Wheres Costa Coffee in Weatherfield then?" Twitter user And a third said: Are my eyes deceiving me or did I just see BRANDED Costa coffee cups on Corrie?! This is too far.
Ain't no one gonna believe there's a Costa in Weatherfield. ITV has now announced that it has agreed to partner up wth Costa and Co-op.
The stores are part of the extended Weatherfield set and will be fully branded, with other assets such as posters, bags and cups integrated across the ITV soap.
The new partnership deal will also include digital and brand-licensing aspects for both brands, enabling them to use Coronation Street assets and extend the partnership off-air.
Mark Trinder, Sales Director, ITV said: The expansion of the Coronation Street set has given us a great opportunity to feature branded shop facades as more of Weatherfield is opened up to viewers.
Incorporating product placement on this scale is something we have wanted to do for some time and we're delighted with this exciting opportunity.
Weve worked really closely with the Coronation Street team to make sure we've got a great brand fit for Co-op and Costa Coffee with the nation's favourite soap while still ensuring editorial integrity. But what does this mean for Roys Rolls and the Corner Shop? Well, we dont know yet.
But Co-op and Costa will be coming to the cobbles from Spring 2018.
Coronation Street continues tomorrow night at 7:30pm on ITV.

What does the Bible say about the Three Wise Men? | Three Kings / Three Magi - Duration: 2:47.Question: "What does the Bible say about the three wise men?"
In this video I'll answer that question from a biblical perspective.
Afterwards, I'll share some helpful resources, so stick around until the end.
We assume that there were three wise men because of the three gifts that were given: gold,
incense, and myrrh.
However, the Bible does not say there were only three wise men.
There could have been many more.
Tradition says that there were three and that their names were Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthasar,
but since the Bible does not say, we have no way of knowing whether the tradition is
accurate.
It is a common misconception that the wise men visited Jesus at the stable on the night
of His birth.
In fact, the wise men came days, months, or possibly even years later.
That is why Matthew 2:11 says the wise men visited and worshiped Jesus in a house, not
at the stable.
We know that the magi were wise men from "the East," most likely Persia, or modern-day Iran.
This means the wise men traveled 800 to 900 miles to see the Christ child.
Most likely, the magi knew of the writings of the prophet Daniel, who in time past had
been the chief of the court seers in Persia.
Daniel 9:24-27 includes a prophecy which gives a timeline for the birth of the Messiah.
Also, the magi may have been aware of the prophecy of Balaam (who was from the town
of Pethor on the Euphrates River near Persia) in Numbers 24:17.
Balaam's prophecy specifically mentions a "star coming out of Jacob."
The wise men were guided to look for the King of the Jews by a miraculous stellar event,
the "Star of Bethlehem," which they called "His star" in Matthew 2:2.
They came to Jerusalem and asked concerning the birth of Christ, and they were directed
to Bethlehem.
They followed God's guidance joyfully.
When they arrived in Bethlehem, they gave costly gifts to Jesus and worshiped Him.
God warned them in a dream against returning to Herod, so, in defiance of the king, they
left Judea by another route.
So, the magi were men who 1) read and believed God's Word, 2) sought Jesus, 3) recognized
the worth of Christ, 4) humbled themselves to worship Jesus, and 5) obeyed God rather
than man.
They were truly wise men!

Arsenal fans think Olivier Giroud is leaving after what he did following Swansea defeat - Duration: 1:38.Arsenal fans think Olivier Giroud is leaving after what he did following Swansea defeat
Starsport understands the Frenchman is likely to join the Blues on deadline day, allowing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to sign for the Gunners. Michy Batshuayi will then head to Borussia Dortmund from Stamford Bridge.
Despite increased speculation over his future, Giroud still played 15 minutes after coming on for Alex Iwobi in the second half. But it's what he did after the final whistle that caught fans' attention.
Charles Watts, a journalist at football.london, filmed the 31-year-old heading over to the away fans at the Liberty Stadium to applaud them on his own.
While it's not unusual for players to greet their supporters after matches, may saw Giroud's actions as his final farewell given the impending transfer.
"Giroud heads over to the Arsenal fans at full-time – It certainly looked like a goodbye," Charles wrote on the Twitter video.
One fan commented: "Just when I thought my depression was lifting." "He looked so disheartened last night too," a second said. And a third added: "Goodbye my friend.".
