so yeah happy birthday Nhím yeah so I just got up and now I'm gonna go to
Playa Bowls to get breakfast for Huy and I because we're hungry and that's close
by easy and I have like this my school ID has money on it to get random stuff
so I'm gonna go buy some bowls and so I will show you what I end up getting
all right so this is what we got this one is mine
I have you can see I have the chia pudding and pitaya (dragon fruit), granola Nutella
strawberries and coconut and then he has the strawberries and bananas and coconut
and Nutella but he just has pitaya and granola so I have a little bit different
I have no banana and I have the chia seed pudding just cuz I like it so yeah
now we're gonna have our breakfast and then I don't know what's gonna happen

homework and stuff and I just wanted to show you why I was so stressed out
recently so I didn't really tell you guys but I was having a lot of trouble
with my classes because they kept cancelling stuff so first they cancelled
the online class I was registered for and then there's another class that I
was in and I ended up being the only student there so they held it for
another week to see if somebody else would show up and I ended up being the
only student again and they had to cancel and then I signed up for another
class which I ended up not taking, I signed up for another online class that was too
crazy so I dropped it I sign up for another class on Mondays and I signed up
for another class on Wednesdays so I signed up for a lot of classes and now I
was just about to start my homework and I went to go grab the syllabus so this
one unfortunately this one is cancelled so this one it's going into the trash
then this one this comparative international education this was way too
crazy so this one's going in the garbage too - goodbye next we have this one this is
the online class emerging markets no thank you this one's going to the
trash and then I'm left with two syllabi here so this is one of the courses I'm
taking human security so yeah it looks pretty crazy human security as a new
paradigm for comprehending and mitigating contemporary threats and
security issues, wow sounds like intense so that's one of my classes and then my
other one is similar which is us security interests in East Asia also
known as the other title of this course is u.s. security in the North Pacific so
these are the two classes I'm taking so security and security so two security
courses so now I need to go through the syllabus and see what I have to do I
finished the reading for this but I gotta pick a topic paper and stuff so I'll be
working on this stuff now so I will see you guys later.
good morning so it's Sunday morning I didn't vlog too
much yesterday just because it was a pretty boring day we were just home and
today's probably to be boring too that's okay. so I just woke up I literally could
not sleep last night until 3:30 and then after I fell asleep I had a bad dream
and then woke up so I'm super tired although it's like 11:00 now so normally
I wake up at 8:00 but yeah so now we're gonna go to Whole
Foods and get something for breakfast yeah I'm gonna get some pastries or
something and maybe I don't know what else we'll get but we're gonna go get
some stuff and then come back and then probably I have to do some more homework
later tonight we're going out to eat at a Vietnamese restaurant so that will be
something to look forward to so I'll just see you guys later bye!
alright so basically-- wait is it recording? yes it is, basically we have
been home all day I know I didn't film because I haven't really been feeling
that great I told you I didn't get much sleep so I was just resting and doing my
reading for class but now we are about to leave to go out to dinner so I'll
take you guys along with us and hopefully that will be fun and
interesting and I just can't wait to eat because I'm starving
so let's go!

Thu and Quân, we are at a Vietnamese restaurant today so first we are
starting with the summer rolls, gỏi cuốn and so it is yeah we ordered a few
things so we're gonna eat a lot today it's a different restaurant we haven't
been here before this one. yeah go on. You want chili? You wanna use your hand I think
it's better. Too polite! All the cameras, once the camera goes down start using hands. A little chili in here? Are you cool? Yeah I don't care, I'm fine.

This is good! okay so here's the one I was waiting for: bánh hỏi thịt heo nướng.
we can eat a
lot more than this of course, and then we come to the fish sauce right some
vegetables you're gonna order some more stuff? If you guys want this one we can
order the beef one. yeah why not? oh god it looks so good
a little spicy, so good! now we got the phở so fan favorite of course, phở tái nạm and
then they got the got phở đặc biệt now we have a bánh xèo. Hiii. well here's the
damage. I'm still thinking about the sandwich. You wanna get a bánh mì to take home? Oh
breakfast are you gonna take one home for a breakfast? no just you. Maybe no
because I just bought it a few weeks ago.
so now what are you gonna do love? are you gonna get a bánh mì? I think you
should cuz you never eat anything fun for breakfast. He doesn't even eat
breakfast, before I buy him the granola bar he doesn't eat it.
yeah it's bad for his health right? yeah yeah he had stomach problem before and what
did they tell you? Eat breakfast. yeah and you don't. so how did we meet? it was like 1 year ago
right? Almost. 8 Months ago I think so yeah doing my sping semester, mmm-hmm, I don't remove almost
almost yeah it was in April. Audrey sent me an email it's kind of a like from a stranger so in the first time I thought it was a scam,
that girl look she sent me email in Vietnamese so surprised I was like I told my friends and they were so surprised
on the first day we met, outside the library, right? Yeah yeah, it was a little bit awkward in the beginning. But after that we talked and just shared a moment.
and then we hang out with each other and then I invited you go to my house to have the meal together and have fun. It's great!
So now we can always meet up. Thank you so much! because for sending me the email. for being creepy yeah so I was
working in the international student office and there was a sign-up sheet for
like a hiking trip and I just saw a Vietnamese name I said oh my gosh who's
that and I just take the email and just emailed her because I was creepy and I
wanted friends so I did it and now look I have friends now so I could guess it's
worth it and yeah it was fun like the first time it was yeah like she said a
little bit awkward but then after we hung out I just got so excited to meet
again after like, you seemed very warm the first time like we just keep
talking and it's good. it's just like few weeks you know beginning yeah yeah just a little bit (awkward)
was it the first time we went to eat we eat eat lunch in Thai Thai restaurant? is
close to our school, oh yeah I love Thai food so is good spicy
yes so now luckily we have two friends and they have friends too so we can go
out eat whenever we want meet up. are you happy love? Yes. we don't have
many friends
so you saw we already finished eating and now here we are we are gonna get
some bubble tea here is this Korea town it is super busy in here I'm gonna get the
Oreo drink I think like I got last time you get a bubble tea, right?
And Huy loves bubble tea too so it's gonna be so good I can't wait so

you love, yes I like taro too much. is there such a thing? Nope! I got the Oreo crush because I love

how can I get out. good morning so as you saw we had a really great time
last night with Thu and Quân and so that was really fun it felt more like a
Saturday night than a Sunday night cuz usually Sunday's like ooh I hate Sunday
because tomorrow's Monday so we had a really good time and now I just got up I'm gonna go
to work and then I have class later and then I will edit this vlog tonight and
put it up tomorrow so I don't know how much I'll film today but yeah also I did
not sleep well again last night so I'm super tired I don't know what's wrong
with me but yeah not fun. so I will just check in with you
guys later oh my gosh I'm home from work so I have
like 30 minutes before my class and I am struggling right now I'm so tired I just
want to fall asleep on the couch where I am now but I have to get my food and get
going and go to class but after class I'm gonna take a nap so I'm really
excited for 4 o'clock so I can sleep and then our staff meeting that is supposed
to be tonight at 9:15 got cancelled so that's good for me because then I don't
have to go and I can just stay home and relax.
so yes I'm very sleepy and I don't even know what I'm saying so I will just go
and do my stuff and see you guys later oh maybe I'll take you to class I don't
know if it's weird to film in class but I'll take you guys what the heck all
right we're going to class!
all right so I just got out from class and it was so fun like I'm excited
because the professor was really cool and yeah it was just fun so I just
inserted a tiny clip of like what the class is about it's like us security in
Asia so it's gonna be really interesting and I'm gonna do a research project
about North and South Korea relations so it's gonna be really fun and I'm just
glad it didn't get cancelled because as I mentioned before the professor didn't
come on the first day and I was so nervous but luckily he's there and he's
really cool so yeah all right it's about three minutes after I just recorded that
segment of me coming home and I am already home in my pajamas with just
actually Huy's shirt I stole it and I'm about to take a nap I am so tired I know I
probably said this like 10 times on this vlog already but I really haven't been
sleeping well so it's 4 o'clock I'm gonna take a nap maybe for like an hour
and then when we get home we'll have dinner and everything and then later I
will edit this vlog which is so fun I can't wait and then other than that
probably just relax tomorrow I have to write a paper which is due Wednesday I
know I should have done it way earlier but you know life is rough also hoping
this duty phone does not ring because I am officially on duty tonight
yikes. You're gonna film this stupid meal? yeah, it's a redneck meal! back to the roots.
