In today's lesson, we'll talk about the core of traditional Chinese medicine, that is Qi and blood.

What is Qi? Does it really exist?

And what about 'blood' in Chinese medicine? Is it same as the blood in our blood vessel?

So let's answer these questions in more details.

During our last lesson, we talked about Yin and Yang

Yin and Yang in Chinese medicine is actually metabolism in modern medicine.

And Qi and Blood is actually the substances that flow in our circulation system during metabolism

OK, let's explain them in more details using the metabolic map

They are the substance in the circulation system

Qi is the special gas substance

And what about blood in Chinese medicine?

It is absolutely not the blood components in our blood vessel.

Absolutely not!

Then what is 'blood' in Chinese medicine?

It is the liquid substance in our entire circulatory system, apart from blood in blood vessel

It has a fixed flow law

Such as lymph fluid and tissue fluid

And a lot of students asked me

"Dr Liu, does Qi and blood in Chinese medicine really exist?"

I can assure you that they 100% exist

How can I be so sure?

Because we can hear the sound of Qi and blood flowing in patient's circulation system very clearly during our clinical treatment.

It is very loud and flows in a particular order

And the speed is very fast!

And you might ask, so what does it sound like?

You can listen to the sound of gas and liquid flowing in the pipe. It's quite similar

And not only does the doctor hear it during treatment,

Our patients can also hear and feel these gas and liquid flows in their body very clearly.

What If Count Dooku Was In Star Wars Battlefront 2? How Would He Play? (Abilities Speculation) - Duration: 5:01.

Hey guys and welcome back to another video I am the twisted Jedi and I'm

really excited to bring you this video today this is gonna mark the start of a

new series for Star Wars Battlefront 2 and it will feature what-ifs for

characters that aren't in the game yet and I will discuss obviously their

weapon of choice as well as some possible abilities based on what we have

seen in the movies or TV shows I did something similar to this with kylo Ren

before the game came out and before his abilities were announced and it seemed

to be a really popular video with you guys and you really really liked it so I

thought I would bring it back with other heroes and villains so jumping into

today's what if character and you can probably tell by the title and thumbnail

that today's discussion will be on Count Dooku now we all know prequel content is

really lacking in battlefront 2 and I think Count Dooku would be an absolutely

awesome addition starting off with his weapon of choice obviously is his red

lightsaber which is extremely cool as it has the curved hilt making it really

unique from most other lightsabers and really complements his fighting

technique perfectly as far as how he would look in the game we haven't seen

him in too many different outfits so I'm gonna go with what he wears in attack of

the clones just to keep it safe with the cape and the dark robes to go over his

movement patterns quickly and how he would move around the map we don't often

see him run so I think just a standard run similar to how Luke runs in the game

but maybe a tiny bit slower because he is a quite a bit older than Luke and I

think when he jumps it should be more like Darth Vader with that slow glide

back down to the ground with the cape rising up in the air I think that would

look really really awesome as it does already with Vader and I think it would

only be the same with Count Dooku now as for his abilities I've gone back

and rewatched a fair bit of footage of Dooku from the movies as well as the

Clone Wars series and I've come down to these three main abilities number one is

force push or choke now I know this seems like a generic dark side user move

but Dooku uses force push a lot and has a lot of power and control in the ways

of the force his force push is seen not just in the movies but also in the Clone

Wars series quite a lot so I feel like to keep it different from Vader's choke

or moles push Dooku should lift the enemy into the air and then you should

be able to choose which direction to throw them that way if they're caught in

the move the enemy can be thrown into a wall or off the edge of the map

like on Kashyyyk or Naboo in heroes versus villains I just think he has such

good control of the force that he should be able to control which direction they

get thrown similar to how you can carry them with Vader's force choke moving on

to ability number two I called it master swordsman Dooku is an absolutely

fantastic swordsman and in multiple occasions he's taken on two opponents at

once like his battles with Anakin and obi-wan in the movies and also his

battles with Ventress and Savage Opress in the Clone Wars just to name a few

when this ability is activated Dooku will place one hand behind his back and

begin to deal with his lightsaber in this fashion no stamina will be drained

for the amount of time that the ability is in effect an increased damage will

also be apparent for the same period his movement speed and ability to deflect

blaster fire will remain usable and he's often seen dueling with one hand behind

his back and one hand on his lightsaber so I think it's kind of cool to have

that it's quite a unique style that's not really used by a lot of people and I

just think it would add something different to the game and it absolutely

look awesome moving on to ability number three is

obviously his Force Lightning now Dooku is seen on countless occasions using

Force Lightning so it makes sense that he would have this ability in the game

he's tortured the likes of Anakin Ventress Savage Opress and many others

with his Force Lightning so it's ideal for him to have this ability as long as

it's not too overpowered and also not able to be shot through walls and propel

Pettine anyways I think it would be really cool maybe it could be used as

more of a stun with a lesser damage output instead of being a main damaging

attack although that might counter his whole torture thing that he normally

uses it for in the TV show and movies so you guys let me know down in the

comments what you think about the Lightning do you think it would be

better off as a stun attack or more doing damage and be more of a main move

I think Dooku is a really great prequel era villain and definitely needs to be

in the game eventually his unique lightsaber an almost graceful fighting

technique would be really really great to counter someone like Rey who's quite

hard to take down on the battlefield anyways guys that's my thoughts on Count

Dooku as a future villain in Star Wars Battlefront to let me know what you

think about it down in the comments as well as commenting who you want to see

me do one of these videos for next and whichever character gets the most votes

will be featured for the next video in the series if you enjoyed your time here

please be sure to leave a thumbs up on the video and if you are new to the

channel be sure to hit that subscribe button and keep the ball rolling as

we've had almost over 600 new subscribers in the last two weeks which

is absolutely incredible anyways guys thank you so much for

tuning in again I am the twisted Jedi and may the force be with you

What Are The 7 Chakras And Their Meanings? | How Many Chakras Are There & Who Cares? - Duration: 5:56.

David: In this video we're going to teach you about the 7 Chakras.

Heather: Plus stay to the end for a secret weapon to discover your personal Chakra identity.

I'm Heather.

David: And I'm David.

Heather: From Zen Rose Garden.

David: Dot com.

Heather: Yes.

David: Helping people create- Heather: Badass lives.

What is a Chakra?

David: So a Chakra is basically a vortex, a spinning wheel of energy that is used to

draw energy in and release energy out.

Heather: From your body.

David: From your body.

Heather: From the body.

David: From the body.

Heather: The Chakra is no longer a theoretical thing, there are actually imaging systems

that can show you these energy centers in your body.

David: There are thousands of Chakras.

The main seven that we're gonna cover have to do with seven different parts of your life,

that many.

Heather: Let's get into it.

David: Into the Chakras.

Heather: Yes.

The first Chakra is your Root Chakra which is located at the base of your spine.

The color is red and the purpose in your life is stability, foundation, grounding, root

sexuality, primal protection.

David: And letting your stuff go.

Heather: Yes.

David: Then we go onto the Sacral Chakra.

The Sacral Chakra is located around about your belly button, about a couple inches below.

Its color is orange and it has to do with the passion in life, your creative expression

and sensuality and sexuality in life.

Heather: It's really important that this Chakra is activated if you are a dancer or a creative

person or somebody that's very passionate about what they do, it's good to have it open.

David: Yes.

Heather: The next Chakra is the Solar Plexus Chakra and as the name states it is located

right about here where your Solar Plexus is.

The color is yellow and the purpose in your life is about power, it's about boundaries,

it's about feeling safe in your skin, it's about achievement, it's about mental capacity

even though it's not in your mind it's here.

David: This is a great Chakra for CEOs or any entrepreneurial type people.

Heather: Yes.

David: Next we come to the Heart Chakra which is located where?

About the heart.

The color is green and this has to do with your emotion.

A lot of emotions, a lot of relationships, a lot of love for the world, love for yourself

that would be the Heart Chakra.

Heather: Compassion.

David: Definitely.

Heather: And all the mushy, mushy stuff.

The fifth Chakra is located in your throat and guess what?

It's called the Throat Chakra.

Its color is traditionally turquoise, its purpose is you guessed it, speaking, singing,

expression, creative expression, writing, all those kinds of things.

David: This is great for singers or artists of any kind.

Next we come to the Third Eye Chakra which is located about your third eye which is also

called the Brow Chakra.

Heather: It's in the middle of your forehead.

David: Middle of your forehead.

This one is indigo and basically has to do with your intuition, your gut instincts even

though it's not your gut.

Heather: They all kind of work together.

David: Yeah, so it has to do with psychic abilities, it has to do with all that kind

of mystical awesomeness.

Heather: It also has to do with abstract thought.

Someone that is a philosopher might have a very active third eye.

The Third Eye is not just for mystical wooji people it's for anybody who's like genius

status.

David: Yep, Einstein would be very Third Eye.

Heather: I think everybody's genius status but ... The seventh Chakra is the Crown Chakra

and it is on top of your head.

The color is traditionally white or violet and its purpose is connection to the bigger

picture, connection to spirit.

David: You can call it God, angels, the universe, whatever higher essence of everything that

created the everything that would be the connection through the Crown.

Heather: That's what the Crown is all about.

David: Now it's time for the bonus tip.

Heather: Bonus tip.

David: Now we're gonna tell you a little bit about how Chakras spin.

Heather: Chakras spin right and they spin left.

The word Chakra means wheel of light and just like a wheel the Chakra spins, it spins right

and it spins left.

One way it's releasing energy and another way it's bringing energy in.

The Chakras that are in the body spin this way and this way, but the unique thing about

the Crown Chakra and the Root Chakra is that they spin up and down.

Heather: The Crown Chakra spins this way and the Root Chakra also spins this way facing

down.

The Crown Chakra is pulling in energy from the source, the sun, the universe, Root Chakra

is pulling in energy from the Earth.

You get energy from the source and energy from the Earth and they just kind of like

bring it all in.

Supernova Energy.

David: You just learned the basics to understanding Chakras.

Heather: Now it's time for that secret weapon.

David: We created a special quiz to figure out which celebrity Chakra you are.

Take the quiz to find out.

Heather: Click the link in the description to get it.

David: Go get it.

Heather: It's truth bomb time.

David: Truth bomb time.

Leave your truth bomb moments and any questions you have in the comments below.

Heather: If you liked this video hit the like button.

David: I know you can think of at least two people who can benefit from this information

so share it with anyone that comes to mind.

If you're ready to take your BADASS life to the next level-

Heather: Be sure to subscribe.

David: And click the bell to turn notifications on.

Heather: So you are the first to know- David: When we drop a video-

This is what we do | Life & Brain: The Beck Group - Duration: 3:26.

Hi! I would like to give you a brief introduction into what we do in the laboratory.

We are absolutely fascinated with the brain and the complexity of the brain, with its eighty billion neurons and its intricate connectivity.

We are trying to study the brain at several different levels

ranging from the study of single neurons and its input/output properties to the study of

circuits, where several neurons are aggregated into recurrent motives.

Secondly, we are interested in mechanisms of CNS disorders, and we are absolutely

convinced that CNS disorders can only be understood at the circuit level

So we are applying all these techniques the study of epilepsy, one of the most common CNS disorders.

We've assembled a great team

to address these questions at all these levels, so I would like to take you on a tour through the lab.

My area of interest is in

investigating how neurons

transform synaptic input into an appropriate

output and more specifically into how their dendrites, their side of input actually act as

Computational units. To tackle these questions, we use some sophisticated

electrophysiological and imaging techniques that employ two-photon pulsed lasers.

We firstly patch onto cells, fill the cells with a fluorescent Dye, and then we can actually stimulate

individual synapses using two photon uncaging of glutamate.

In our lab, we're interested in how the Hippocampus computes information.

Therefore, we investigate networks

And network patterns in vivo. To do so, we perform two photon calcium imaging in neuronal samples

This allows us to gain deeper insights how different states of brain activity are correlated to behavior

Having all these different techniques in mind which we perform here in the lab, one can think of an implementation in medical research.

Epilepsy is a severe disorder

which finally causes seizures in patients. It is our interest to

Investigate these seizures on a network level and for this purpose, we are using

electrophysiological and pharmacological approaches

We can investigate

how different antiepileptic drugs act on a network level in the brain and we want to know

why different antiepileptic drugs work in some patients and why some patients do show a pharmacoresistance.

How to do the Splits, WHAT TO EXPECT: #2 Introduction to the best flexibility exercises - Duration: 4:39.

do you want to know the key to functional practical flexibility it's

this you've got to get strong at your maximum range of motion okay right

continuing on from the previous introduction video I'm going to do my

best to give you a clear idea of what to expect and hopefully this helps you feel

prepared for the routine and helps reduce any surprises that might

discourage you from completing the routine what to expect: number one, you

will succeed the first thing you should expect is that you're gonna get strong

full range side splits within 70 days if you stick to the program some of us

might need a little bit longer than 70 days and some of us might need a little

less but regardless of your pace you'll be able to skip ahead or go back to a

session that suits your ability. just keep working through it and you will

succeed. so with that in mind, and this is

specifically in regards to the program structure, you'll find a new video to

follow three times a week, for ten weeks. so that's a total of 30 sessions to get

you to the strong side splits. now, all of the videos are split into three groups

with each group running for three weeks. the first group of videos help to build

a basic foundation of strength and flexibility, just the basics, and the

second group should almost take you to the full splits. the third group should

take you into the full splits, and after that there's a fourth and final group of

videos that run for just the tenth week, and these videos the fourth group should

at least start to make our maximum range of motion our natural range of motion

the way we're gonna get there is progressively just one degree and just

one extra rep at a time and for that reason I've made sure that we start with

relatively easy exercises first and then we'll work our way into more difficult

exercises as our strength and flexibility improves. So to show you that

specifically, let's have a look at the first week of the beginner sessions. to

start with in our very first session we're going to do only ten reps of each

of our stretching exercises and then every new session we do after that we'll

keep adding just one extra rep to each of our stretching exercises. so that

means after we do ten reps in our first session we'll do

eleven reps in the second session, twelve reps in the third session, and so on and

then every week as we get stronger and more flexible

we'll add completely new exercises or modified exercises to our training to

help us progressively and continuously improve our strength and flexibility. so

yeah every session we add one extra rep to each exercise, and every week we'll

add new exercises to our sessions. Number three: you will puff and you will sweat.

so in regards to each training session, well because, you know we're training for

both flexibility and strength, there's quite a bit of real work involved. you'll

be getting your heart rate up and you're probably going to sweat and you're

probably going to puff and your muscles are probably going to burn. and by the

end of each session if you've done your best

you're probably gonna feel tired. I know I do because it's real physical work and

that's actually the reason why I decided to give instruction by voiceover. I don't

want to puff out, you know, two word sentences and hope and pray that you can

understand my puffing instructions. so yeah my original point for number three

is that you're gonna puff and you're gonna sweat just like me.

number four: you will feel a little sore. okay so after a session, I have to let

you know your target muscles are probably gonna feel maybe a little sore.

and that's just how it is when you train to get flexible and strong. of course

there are stretching methods that claim to increase your flexibility without any

soreness. but they're not gonna train you to get STRONG at your maximum range of

motion. and that means they're not going to give you the most functional

practical kind of flexibility. to get that kind of flexibility you need to get

STRONG. and when you train to get strong at your maximum range of motion, you

might feel a little sore between sessions. okay well I hope that gives you

a better idea of what to expect with this program. in the next video I'm gonna

talk about what NOT to expect, just to ensure that you're as informed as

possible as you go into this program. I'll see you then :)

and make sure you subscribe if you got anything useful out of this video or if

you're looking forward to the next video because there's a growing library of

progressive training videos here on the ten thousand method channel to help you

with your training goals

What is lower pole constricted breast?-Dr.Hourglass - Duration: 6:44.

Hi, this is Dr. Hourglass, and welcome to another video in our channel Wonder Breasts.

Today we are going to discuss: What is a lower pole constricted breast?

In this channel we discuss everything related to breast surgery.

Welcome back!

The shape, size, and balance of the breasts play a crucial role in outlining the physical beauty of a woman,

apart from setting her self-esteem and sense of femininity.

A woman with normal and aesthetically appealing breasts feels more confident and enjoys

a good quality of life than a woman with poorly shaped breasts.

Constriction of the breasts is a pathologic condition that affects many women.

It starts at puberty, and the condition features constriction of the ring at the base of the breast

and lack of tissue in the breasts.

The lower pole constricted breasts show tightening along the lower pole of the breasts,

causing the breasts to appear abnormal and in the shape of a tube.

This condition often happens as a result of herniation of the breast tissue into the nipple-areolar complex.

This causes the breasts to look bulging or swollen and abnormal in shape.

In a lower pole constricted breast, the base of the breast is almost absent, underdeveloped,

or defective both vertically and horizontally.

This is often coupled by a hypoplastic breast tissue or an inframammary create that is higher, or both.

There are other aesthetic problems that may follow the lower pole constricted breasts.

These include asymmetrical, saggy, and poorly balanced breasts.

As to what factors exactly cause lower pole constricted breasts is not yet known.

Studies indicate the condition might be caused by multiple factors, including genetic tendencies.

Treatment for lower pole constricted breasts can be custom-tailored to your unique needs and requirements.

Each patient has a varying degree and type of constriction in the lower pole of the breasts.

The common treatment options include breast implant surgery and tissue expansion.

The use of breast lift might also become inevitable to treat the condition.

Even though a combination of these treatments is used to treat lower pole constricted breasts effectively,

constriction of new breast tissue by sinking your skin incision and soft tissue expansion

also delivers reliable and effective outcomes.

Typically, the implant is placed over the muscle to expand the soft tissue envelope more efficiently.

If you have lower pole constricted breasts, you should consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon

to explore the treatment options and determine your candidacy for the surgery.

In this video, we discussed: What is a lower pole constricted breast?

Next week we will discuss: Gummy bears: What are these new implants?

What Makes MAP Special with Tito Muñoz | Juilliard MAP Minute - Duration: 1:19.

Number one is the supportive environment in the middle of this Lincoln Center-

Juilliard situation, which can be so intimidating if you've never been in it

before. To even hear the level of musicianship in the hallways and if

you've never been in it, it can be very intimidating. But MAP itself is so

supportive, so nurturing. The parents are great, because they're all coming

from the same situations, many parents who've never done music before. My

mom, when she started bringing me to the... to the lessons, she ended up becoming the

president of the Parents Association because she was very involved and very

interested in the whole thing. So that was one aspect that I think was very, very

special. The other one was the level of faculty, the level of the teachers, which

is for similar programs elsewhere, it's I think it's...it's second to none. The type

of education you get prepares you for college. It prepares you, you know, the

theory program, the ensembles, and then access. Access to Lincoln Center, access

to all of the major cultural institutions of New York City. You don't

realize that you have that until you leave.

What's In my Empties #3 - Duration: 7:47.

Hi there welcome back to my channel if you're new here, and you like empties videos please hit that subscribe button today

We'll be talking about what is in ma empties?

The first item I want to share with you guys as this house of lashes eyelash glue this stuff is

incredible it is amazing at holding on and it keeps my lashes on all day and

The main reason why I go to house of lashes and purchase this stuff is

Because of the most popular brand of eyelash glue I think is

Duo eyelash glue and I went to the Target today to check to make sure that this was still true

And they do use formaldehyde in their products, and I do not want formaldehyde near my eyes

So once they remove the formaldehyde from their

Formula I will purchase duo glue

the next item I want to share with you guys is the proganix smooth a flat iron finish and

Hydration spray this stuff is awesome. I use it whenever I straighten my hair

I just spray it on my hair on the brush, and I use it that way this stuff isn't amazing

But it's really good

I already have a backup, and I'm working through that right now this stuff will work

It's a really good flat iron heat protectant spray

But it's not my favorite my favorite is the S factor one, but that stuff's like 30 bucks

I think so for the price, which this retails for $12 for the price. It's really good

I got this one on sale, so I bought like a couple

I think they're on clearance so I already have that backup that I'm working through

But and in that price range even that's not my favorite my favorite in that price range is Got2B' s

Angel Flatiron heat protectant spray this was really good for the $6 that I paid for it

And I am going to use the backup that I have so

You'll probably see this in my empties again sometime soon because I straighten my hair sometimes. I went through the sample of the

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Omega repair and moisture shampoo

That's it

So it was good. I'm still on the hunt for a Holy Grail

shampoo I found almost every shampoo I've ever tried to be

Adequate in removing dirt and oils from my hair

Which is the purpose of shampoo, so I'm still looking for something where I'm like wow that was the best shampoo

And I have just never found one that I'm in love with I found many conditioners that I'm like oh yes

This is the best conditioner, but most shampoos are just like a that was good next this shampoo falls into that category

Next please the next item I want to share with you guys is this Ouai haircare rose

Hair and body oil. I use this as a hair oil. I put hair oil on my hair every single time

I shower just right after I just go through the ends and just sort of put some oil on them. Just to keep them moist

Sorry about that word, and I really like this stuff

It smells really good given my wonderful extensive experiences with other hair oils. I will not be purchasing this

It is

$32 for 3 fluid ounces and

To me it's just not worth it given all the wonderful experiences that I've had with other

Hair oils and the fact that I do have quite a few other ones that I still need to work through so

No to that the next product. I want to share with you guys is this Mac

Shadow in bisque and

I am

Done with this one

It's a wonderful base color. That's what I used it for all the time

And I would definitely buy this again if I didn't have an essentially a copy of this in every single palette I own

But it really is great, and if I ever need a color like this

I will think of this one first the next item in my empties is this bliss triple oxygen plus C

Energizing cream this cream was good while it lasted

I will not go out and buy this I have other creams other day creams that I prefer although

I am on the hunt for something with vitamin C in it I'm probably gonna go for something by Paula's choice

So the next item I want to share with you guys is this

Sephora pearl face mask

This one was really good, but it wasn't my favorite

I really like these face masks all the Sephora masks every single one. I've tried

has been really good this particular one is not my favorite

I have other sheet masks that I prefer over this one that are actually less expensive

You'll probably see it empty in the future about my Garnier

Face masks and those ones are my favorites for the price

They're really cheap, and they make my skin feel nice so

This one was really good would I repurchase yep, probably so next two products. I'm gonna share with you

Just really quickly are both clutters as you guys know

I am

Getting rid of anything in my collection that has an abundance of alcohol in it

So if it's like the first or second ingredient is no longer gonna be in my collection both of these items

Have alcohol as the second ingredient

Okay, so the first item I am declaring is the body shops vitamin C

Glow boosting moisturizer the second ingredient in this one is denatured alcohol and the other

Item I am the cluttering is this Nirvana spa

Exotically creamy coconut rich body butter and that one also has alcohol as the second ingredient

It's cetearyl alcohol, and I'm just not interested

I'm not into it, so we're just gonna get rid of those and pretend like they never happened so the last item in this

empties video is this mdsolarsciences

mineral moisture defense lotion

This is a sunscreen, and I just do not like it based on the fact that it's way too greasy

I wear sunscreen every single day keep in mind

It is literally the one thing where if I'm in my car getting ready to go to work

I will actually come back in the house if I realize that I forgot to put sunscreen on so I've tried so many

Sunscreens. I really really love super goop and coola sunscreen if you want to try good sunscreens. Those are my ones

Most of their formulas are non-greasy there's only one from super goop that I'm thinking of that's their solar serum

that's a greasy formula and

Then coola one, I don't think I've ever tried a greasy one from coola

But I really like those ones so if you guys want to try some good sunscreens

I would definitely recommend those ones so what is y'all's favorite sunscreen?
