figured since I was in Roseville Minnesota how might as well go ahead and
get a couple of boxes of coins and do some coin hunting let's see what I get
alright guys let me show you one I'm pretty excited right now like I told you
I'm in Roseville Minnesota here for some hockey and I decided to stop by Wells
Fargo before they closed to pick up a couple of boxes of change to hunt while
I'm killing time I even got some two's I don't know if they've been pretty good
they're sets there might be possible trying to her start out in there but
here's what I'm excited I opened up the boxes of coins in the car because if
they were if they were uncirculated I was going to drive a few miles away to a
different Wells Fargo just a positive but here's why I'm super excited look at
this look at this there is no Buffalo Endor V nickel on it like that but look
it I don't even see one of the newer Jefferson oh we got one we got one newer
jefferson front look at I mean how often do you open boxes I guess that could be
a newer jefferson back but at the end of the day it's not often you open a box of
nickels nowadays and not see at least some modern coins in there I mean
there's a couple of orders of that there's an o-5 there and I saw another
Buffalo oh five right here but other than that this is pretty much looking
like an older Jefferson box doesn't mean we're gonna find anything cool but
that's pretty exciting I've opened over 50 boxes of nickels and it's not too
often that when I open them and I'm looking at the ends that I see mostly
mostly 80s 90s 70s or earlier Jefferson's so
I'm excited about that I also opened up the dye boxes to make
sure and I was worried about it but you can see clearly it's circulated so I'm
really excited to get these huts unfortunately I can't get into it right
now because I have a few hours of hockey to watch not unfortunately I didn't mean
that I've got a few hours of hockey to watch my son's played hockey out here in
Minnesota so I'm looking forward to watching them play but I can't get into
these right now so it'll be fun after the game to get back to the room get
this hunt going get it recorder for you guys maybe we
find something cool Minnesota alright guys I'll be back
after the hockey game alright guys we are gonna start with the dimes mainly
because in case I don't have great luck I still got a box at nickels to go to
next as always we'll get into the hunt and if
I find anything cool we'll loop you in okay guys we're about ten rolls in and
nothing so far I will tell you there's a lot of 70s and 80s coins in here so far
so that's a good sign but no oh nines and no Silver's no eighty-two no mint
marks and no ninety-six W mint West Point so let's get to the next end okay
guys fifteenth role in and we've got a pretty good candidate right there let me
set this roll down real time do we got here got a demon mark we got a silver
1964 all right not too bad only the 15th roll in and we got one put that up here
now we've got a silver dime all right let's keep looking roll number 29 guys
we've got another good candidate
no mint mark?
looks like it's a 1960 yep I don't have a 1960 Philadelphia so I will take it
that is a silver dime number two we've got a 64 and a 60 so I bought the
lighting but in my hotel room so doing the best I can I will tell you now that
I'm almost 60% of the way through the box I really thought that I would see
some more thorns or Canadians being this close to the boarder up here in Minnesota
but maybe I will maybe in my nickel box I'll see them anyway we're talking about
dimes right now let's get back to the hunt okay guys another box of Dimes
hunted and we're with to 2009 in 1960 Philadelphia and a 1964 Denver looks
like the Twin Cities here in Minnesota didn't do me too bad I'll take two
Silver's and 2 '09's any time we're gonna continue this Minnesota hunt with some
nickels and I know I showed it in the intro but I just want to show it again
look at this all older Jeffersons not often you can see a bunch of older
Jefferson editors doesn't mean anything doesn't guarantee anything but still
makes me very optimistic I'm gonna start cracking into these roles in it as usual
if I find anything I'll loop you guys in third role in guys already pulled out a
54 and we now have a 1949 Philadelphia put that over here with the finds and once
again I'm sorry about the lighting but as you know I'm in a hotel room so let's
get back to the hunt okay fourth roll in and we've got another forty scorn here I
think I saw 46 yep 1946 Philadelphia so that's two coins from the 40s we'll take
it and we'll get back after the hunt okay sixth roll in and we've got
ourselves another 40s coin 1946 Philadelphia that's pretty good
because now we've got ourselves three for the 40's and three from the 50s
already six rolls in averaging one coin per roll that would beat my record by
far although I highly doubt we'll keep that pace roll number nine and I can see
it so I figured I'd grab it in front before I got to it
got another 40s coin guys 1940 Philadelphia so that now makes for 40s
nickels and for fifties nickels and I kept this one right here I know it's a
1992 but it's got completely full steps so pulling it aside to see if it upgrade
something a nickel book and we'll get back to the hunt well number 10 guys had
peeled it back so you could see it got a forty seven ender so that's a good sign
let me crack into this roll 47 ender what was a 47 Philly so lots of
filaments in this box which is good especially if I get some late fifties
coins let's keep looking roll number 12 and we've got ourselves a
1940 Philadelphia so that makes another 40s coin 18th roll of guys got another
40s coin here another 1946 at another 46 Philadelphia hold number 19 got
ourselves another 40s coin 1948 Denver this time so that makes 8 in the 40s
well let's keep looking rule number 23 guys grabbed it out
pulled the paper back you can see we got another 40 Zender this is a 1940 this
time well crack can do it see what it is it's a 1940 Denver we'll take it it's
another one from the 40s that's 9 well let's keep looking
rolled over 29 guys got a kind of a torn up here 1940 not in the best shape 1940
Philadelphia again that makes four in the 1940 year 10 out of the 40s and 8
for the we've got 18 priests 60 coins in the
first twenty nine rolls we're all 31 guys got another 40 coin here
it's another 1946 Philadelphia put that up there really stacking up dirty
Jefferson's okay guys roll number 34 and look what we got here a 1939 I haven't
seen the back yet figured we'd look at it together hopefully it hasn't been
mark it doesn't but you know what I'll still take it it's a bad shape look
how worn it is but it is a 30s nickel that's our first oldest corner of the
box let's keep looking same rule guys just a few coins later another 1946 did
another Philadelphia Mint one of the 37th or old guys and I just feel like
I'm seeing red we're all number 39 guys and I don't know how I missed a old
Jefferson Endor bus like I told you my eyes must be getting tired 1946 again
Philadelphia again that might be a world record in 46 is one two three four five
six I think one of them's a D but that's a lot we've got 13 from the 40s if you
can believe it or not eight from the 50s and a 30s so that's like 22 points right
now and we still got 11 and 2/3 rolls ago so let's get after alright guys rule
number 42 and we found ourselves another 40s coin 1941 this time first one
philadelphia no surprise there none of the end guys rolled over 45 we got
another 40s coin here 1947 deed we'll take it add it to the 40s well keep
looking roll number 47 got ourselves a toasty 40s nickel but it is in 1940
anyway and it looks like it's a 40 d so we'll take that and continue the hunt
well number 49 and it looks like we got our first four and find here guys
William Alexander 2016 it's a eurocent it's another one of
those Netherland Keens I've not seen one like this
still cool fine I'll take it first four into the box all right let's finish the
rest of this roll and that last roll last roll the Box got another 1946
Philadelphia I'll let you know if I anything else
otherwise we'll get to the wrap-up all right everyone we finished our Minnesota
nickel-and-dime hunt we nickel indicted here Minnesota you get 99 sixty's coins
we end up with 11 in the 50s and a lot of different dates here we got a couple
of 52 s of 53 to 54 s the 57 for 58 and a 59 in the 40s we got a crazy 17 I knew
it was an old jefferson box and it was I could go through all these guys but
we've got a ton a ton of different dates and mints here so good fines overall I'm
happy we actually got a 1939 but it's another Philadelphia Mint I already got
tons of those still looking for a San Francisco or Denver but we'll take you
to the feeling we got that one another dense coin which is cool I kept this
1980 because it's got a really nice kind of burnt tone to it kept it aside
because it's different and then I kept this 1964 that almost has full steps so
figured I'd keep that it's pretty nice coin you'll recall in my dime box I got
two silvers a sixty Philadelphia and a 64 Denver and a couple of own inés
anyway if you enjoyed the time with me please give the video a thumbs up and as
always thanks for watching
