JUDY WOODRUFF: With Larry Nassar now sentenced to life in prison for his sexual assault of

countless young female athletes, under the guise of medical treatment, much of the focus

has been on what officials at USA Gymnastics knew or should've known about Nassar's crimes.

But, as William Brangham reports, there are also new questions about what was known at

Michigan State University, where Nassar has worked for almost 20 years, and where many

of his crimes occurred.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Larry Nassar joined Michigan State University in 1997.

He was already a physician and trainer with USA Gymnastics at the time.

As the allegations against him became widely known in 2016, MSU officials claimed initially

to have had no prior knowledge of his behavior.

But several reports, lawsuits and victims' testimony allege the university did know of

allegations against Nassar for years.

In just the past week, the university's president and athletic director have resigned.

And, today, the state's attorney general, Bill Schuette, said he wants all documents,

texts and e-mails from the university about what Larry Nassar.

Joining me now to unpack all of this is Matt Mencarini.

He's been covering the Nassar case for a year-and-a-half for The Lansing State Journal in Michigan.

Matt, thank you very much for being here.

Let's just start at the beginning here.

In 2016, The Indy Star publishes an expose alleging -- it was largely focused on U.S.

Gymnastics and how they had overlooked allegations about Nassar's behavior.

The focus was on them at the time.

Can you remind us, what did Michigan State University at the time say they knew about

his behavior?

MATT MENCARINI, The Lansing State Journal: They said very little initially, that they

had fielded a complaint.

A new lawsuit had been -- excuse me -- they had fielded a complaint, and a new police

report had been filed alleging sexual assaults against him dating back decades.

They then soon fired him several days after the first Indy Star story.

And one of the reasons they had fired him was because he didn't follow protocols put

in place after a 2014 Title IX investigation and he had not told the university that, 10

years before that, the Meridian Township Police Department investigated him for a sexual assault

allegation.

Those were two of the first times that the university acknowledged that they had some

awareness of sexual assault allegations against him before the Indy Star and before Rachael

Denhollander in the end of 2016.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: So, you mentioned that Title IX investigation.

I know you have done a good deal of reporting about that.

Tell us what that investigation was triggered by, what it looked into, and how the university

responded.

MATT MENCARINI: In April of 2014, a woman who at time was a recent graduate reported

to a university doctor that during an appointment the month prior, a few weeks prior, that Nassar

had sexually assaulted her.

That prompted the university to start a Title IX investigation and contact the university's

police department to conduct a separate criminal investigation.

The university's Title IX investigation concluded about three months later and determined that

what Nassar did wasn't in fact sexual assault, that it was an illegitimate medical procedure.

They reached that conclusion largely from four medical experts who all worked for the

university, all had close ties to Nassar.

And then, when that wrapped up in July, the police investigation dragged out for another

16 months, during which the university allowed him to see patients, before ultimately the

Ingham County prosecuting attorney's office declined to charge him in December of 2015.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: So, the people that they consulted to say were these very physically

invasive, now we know of them as sexual assaults, in essence, they -- those people were friends

of Nassar's or colleagues of Nassar's, and they were the ones verifying that this was

OK to the university's investigation?

MATT MENCARINI: Correct.

They were either colleagues or very good friends.

Some were a mixture of that, had known him for a long time, were familiar with the procedures

he performed.

A key detail about that 2014 report and investigation is that is one of the few reported to police

or in lawsuits without any penetration.

That changes slightly some of the context that it's in and the answers and the input

that those four experts gave to the university about what Nassar said he was doing and what

the woman said he did to her.

Both of their accounts were pretty similar to each other.

And so the experts were kind of trying to determine if what he was doing could be a

medical procedure.

The Title IX investigator determined that, based on those conversations with those experts,

that it was and that this woman misinterpreted what happened to her as sexual assault, when,

in fact, it was a medical procedure.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: And you and others have reported that the university put out its Title

IX report and it gave that to the victim herself.

But then the university had a separate version that had a lot more detail in it, that was

somewhat more damning.

Can you explain?

MATT MENCARINI: Yes, that's one of the new revelations from the last couple of weeks.

On Friday, I was able to obtain a full Title IX report with the full conclusion section

that had more detail than the university's analysis of what happened during that medical

appointment.

It had much stronger language.

It found significant problems and it found that Nassar's conduct could present patients,

could expose patients to unnecessary trauma from perceived sexual misconduct.

The report that woman received had a 41-word conclusion section that just said, thank you

for bringing your concerns forward.

It has allowed us to look at ways to change policies within the medicine -- the medical

clinic.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: We know that two senior officials at the university resigned.

We know the state attorney general is now launching an investigation.

What is the feeling in the community itself on the university and amongst officials about,

do they believe the university has done enough, is doing enough, and what's the sense there?

MATT MENCARINI: Tone-deaf is the word that was -- or the phrase that was thrown out a

lot leading up to the sentencing hearing, which dragged into two weeks.

That was what was described of the university response.

You have seen that start to change as that sentencing hearing hit day five, and six,

and seven, quickly followed by a couple resignations from the university.

The response publicly and in the area, there have been concerns and questions and uneasiness

with the way the university has handled much of this case since the first report by The

Indy Star in September of 2016.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: All right, Matt Mencarini of The Lansing State Journal, thank you very

much for your time.

MATT MENCARINI: Thanks for having me.

Rosario + Vampire (I rewatched my most hated anime... So now what do I think?) - Duration: 7:45.

I just realized 26 episodes of a show I absolutely hated and you know what I'm actually glad I did

Rosario + vampire

my god

Did I have a disgustingly sour history with the show I was actually watching it back to make a rent review because well

thought be fun and

Worth the torturous sessions of rewatching this abomination again

And now well my perspectives changed a bit that doesn't mean I think it's good. Yeah god

No, just just look at this. I mean this looks like something I can make it Photoshop wait

Hey, Chris, the hell are you doing in there?

But despite the show being as much of a train wreck as it is I don't hate it anymore

I can find problems than anything

I look at and it takes quite a lot for me to harbor hatred for something in fact

the only hatred I felt by the end of this watch session was for my past self and that's because I betrayed an

Ideology I tried stick with whenever I critique something and that ideology is

Judge something for what it is not what you want it to be it's an ideology

I'd like to see carry over to other reviews, but it's not often. I see this in practice hell

I'm a bit guilty of it as well

honestly a

Fantastic example of this and also an appropriate segue for a video about a harem to be the critique on fanservice

I like supposed some bias and say that it doesn't really bother me most of the time

It's not because I actively want it or think it enhances the plot

It's honestly just something I don't pay attention to at this point despite this bias

I can judge a show for using its fanservice badly

But let's look at this from the opposite perspective the perspective of someone who absolutely despises it in all forms

I tend to notice they don't set aside this bias and will harshly critique fanservice

Even when it's used with some sort of purpose, or as a central part of the show

But this is the direction some take looking at things like kill la kill

I honestly don't know what you expect with the show that's advertised like this

Or synopsis like girl in skimpy outfit scissors people and learns the true power of nudity, okay?

I'm paraphrasing very selectively anyway my point is you've judges show based too much on some personal expectations

You're not going to enjoy it, and you will often miss the entire point or appeal of whatever

It is you're looking at and if you bring the overall score down due to something you personally didn't like

You end up with infamous examples like this

noise

So how does this tie into Rosario vampire you see there's a specific reason? I hated Rosario

It's not because it's repetitive the fact. It doesn't respect your intelligence or even for its incredibly low quality presentation

It's because initially the show actually offended me not due to the sexual nature of the show

But because I thought this show offered an absolutely skewed moral

And it's ending and ending I'm absolutely going to spoil the hell out of by the way

I guess I'll leave a timestamp when it gets to it, but

Come on

Do you really think you're missing out if nothing else I could promise you that the plot is not we used to watch this show

for

Anyway, let's take a look into my mind from a few years ago to see what disgusted me so much so in early quick summary

Our main female character mocha is a vampire

She has two identities and the one that is or more vampiric form is suppressed by this rosary

It's the name of the show our main characters Q&A is well a harem protagonist

It's really all I could say he's kind of bland. He goes to the school for monsters yet

He is a human

Which is the whole Kinnick of the show he forms a harem with this vampire a succubus a lowly witch and an ice girl

With that out of the way, we can move on to those last three episodes

Here's that time stamp to skip spoilers

I guess

Moke asked to leave her rosary as a power source to support the magical barrier

Protecting the school and keeping it hidden and by doing so

This bright cheerful version of MOCA essentially doesn't exist and we only get this true vampiric form of MOCA, okay

I'm just gonna refer to them by strawberry mocha and white mocha sand this doesn't get confusing

Anyway, all we have now is white mocha. Who's like the polar opposite of strawberry mocha

She's cold and emotionally subdued and more mean-spirited, so naturally I found her to be a more interesting

Maybe that's where my initial bias stemmed from anyway the point is white mocha is also attracted to school night

And it's legitimately trying to flirt and talk with him and all he can really think of is strawberry mocha

Which I can't really blame them for but and this is where my hatred begets to spawn from white mocha

Essentially tells Cunha that strawberry mocha was a facade a form that suppressed white mochas true nature and showed a more caring and nice beverage

So basically at this point. I think oh this is gonna turn into a

Topic of loving someone for who they really are something like that

Nope. I don't know what the hell. I expected of course he finds a way to turn her back of course

He has no problem doing so and of course the show doesn't even really address what I was thinking so baby urban is thinking okay?

So this show wants to completely

Fuck over this girl for not being your true self

set the story in a direction that makes pertain to be something you're not to be a positive thing and then just end with a

Happy ending where no one learns a fucking thing. Are you kidding me?

It's just awful and actually a potentially harmful thing to preach

It's at this point where baby urban thought back on everything leading up to this it felt like his time had been wasted you remembered

How terribly put together everything was loving the feeling dwell within him for years

He decided that this was the enemy he hated more than anything else

it's not until this reason for you watch where you realized he completely missed the point I

Always try and make an effort to re-watch anything

I'd make a video on and boy am I glad I didn't jump the gun and actually look back at this show you see the

Scoot, I wasn't being selfish and giving white mocha the cold shoulder he actually viewed both of these Milka flavors as individuals

He was going to bring back strawberry mocha, not just because it was his favorite

But because he didn't want to be without either flavor, and if you skip this boiler. I'm sorry that this is confusing

I was so dead set on my assumption

And how the show should have handled this situation that I didn't even hear the lines about

Wanting to preserve both versions of the character the blinders were already on and I already made up my mind

see

that's what's nice about changing perspective and

Expectations the difference in the second watch was that I watched it drunk with the sole purpose of making fun of it

And I had a blast actually the show had so many terrible and confusing moments that often found myself nearly dying from laughter

There's some fantastic

unintentional comedy here

I was eventually

Experiencing some burnout in season two but because of the state I was in I was able to view it again with zero

Expectations and now this ending doesn't bother me this perspective shift has lifted this weight of hatred off my shoulders and honestly

That's something. I want you to take away from this video

It's not a bad idea to revisit something again to see how you look at it now

This is my personal example of this and now I could almost recommend the show I mean for ironic enjoyment at least after

Revisiting this series my hatred turned into laughter

I fell into his end like state and now I feel like I'm better because of it so go on and look back at some

Of the dumb shit you hated and laugh at it, you can honestly be a great experience

Thanks for watching guys though, I'm usually a bit more positive

I would like to look at some more bad shows or games in the future. It sounds like fun

do tell me what you guys hated or think would be fun to rant on and

Consider subscribing if you like this sort of content also consider hitting the bell for notifications if you want model notifications

All right, thanks again guys. I'll see you next video

Giving white milk with a cold showed why can't I say?

What Do We Drive: Ash - Project Mjölnir Part 1 - Duration: 6:18.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

What's up, guys?

Ash, sales tech here at Diesel Power Products.

I'm on the phone pretty much all day,

and I get the common question, what do you drive?

Well, we're not just sales guys here, we're enthusiasts.

This is my 2013 Ram 2500, Project Mjolnir.

We're going to go over what parts

I've done, why I've done them.

So let's get started.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

So the reason I chose the Ram 2500 platform,

I'm kind of an outdoorsman.

I like the utility of the Ram pickups,

the solid front axle and rear axle,

uses some of the most common suspension on the market,

it's easily accessible.

I like to call it the Harley Davidson of trucks,

just because everybody and their brother makes parts for these.

So the Ram 2500 platform with the Cummins diesel backed up

with the G56 six-speed manual--

because real trucks don't shift themselves--

is a great platform for what I'm going to use it for.

That's going to be outdoors, camping, hauling dirt

bikes, towing race trailers, you name it.

This is the best platform that I could get myself into.

So starting up front, we'll go over some upgrades

that I've done.

Cosmetically, I swapped out the factory chrome grille

for a black grille, just a factory Mopar black grille.

The headlights we've changed out to the Mopar projector

blacked out headlights.

And down low, probably the most noticeable

is this stubby winch bumper.

We did this in-house here at Diesel Power Products.

Bumper is going to house a Warn 16.5 winch.

And it gives me a lot of clearance into the tires.

So when I'm getting into tight obstacles,

I have as much approach angle as possible.

Of course, don't forget recovery points to get the thing out

of a pickle and lighting.

All the lumens.

No lumens left behind.

Our friends over at Baja Designs,

I got a set of OnX6, a 30-inch combo

as well as their dual control 40-inch up top.

It gives me the best of both worlds.

I got white light, and I got amber

if I'm in a low light adverse condition.

So on the side here, I upgraded the factory front fenders

to a set of fiberglass fenders.

These offer a little bit more coverage,

so tire coverage to keep the stuff

off the side of the truck.

They look good.

On top of that, they have a little bit more clearance

to help fit this 37-inch Cooper STT Pro without having

to do any type of trimming.

Inner fenders were also made.

Keeps all the rocks, mud, snow off

the electronics and everything underneath that's important.

Again, tire-wise, 37/13/517 Cooper STT Pros.

Had real good luck with them.

Loving them so far.

And they're wrapped around a set of Method Standard 17x9 wheels.

Moving our way back, protection, as you've noticed, is a must.

So we've done a set of custom in-house rock sliders.

So they're pretty cool.

They mount to the bottom of the body mounts,

and also to the rockers.

And they're made out quarter-inch plate.

So they really protect those rockers

for when I'm going to be coming up

over something, keep the door from getting crushed in.

So in the back half of the truck here,

I built a little chase rack.

Did it for a couple of reasons.

One, I needed a spot to mount lighting.

So I chose to build a little rack here

to run a set of Baja Designs' S2 Pros.

These give me a ton of light off the side of the truck,

as well as into the bed.

So when I'm out camping, hauling my bikes, whatever it may be,

I've got all the light I need.

It also gives me the spot to build a foundation off

of that I'm going to be building a couple spare 37-inch tire

mounts.

And those will also be removable to where

I can run two full-sized dirt bikes in the back.

So when I'm out doing that, I have the utilitarian side

of the bed that I can move back and forth,

depending on what I'm out doing.

The rack also has a clamp that goes here

and moves its way back with another rack that actually

houses an ARB rooftop tent.

So when I'm out, again, being in the outdoors,

I need a place to stay, I got an ARB rooftop tent heading up

top.

Keeps me off the ground and out of the weather.

All right.

So the back half here, ditched the factory bumper.

It's too big.

It hangs down too low.

So I've done an aftermarket steel

bumper we built here in-house.

Really low profile and design.

Gives me a great departure angle so I'm not

hung up on the rear bumper.

Does have recovery points.

Again, a must on these big, heavy trucks.

Gotta have a spot get them out.

And I did incorporate an Edge back-up camera.

Has the factory wiring harness for the towing seven-way round

and four-way flat.

And then probably my favorite feature of it is its corners.

The corners of the bed actually got cut

at an angle, which we call comp cut.

And that gives me, again, that really high clearance,

so coming off of something on the rear corner of the tire

is not going to hang up on the bed.

All right.

So in the cab here, one of my favorite items

is the Edge Insight CTS2.

This gives me the ability to monitor anything,

any vital information that I need on the truck

right in front of me, without looking

like I'm driving a fricking space shuttle,

like some other trucks.

I have all kinds of gauges, all kinds of information

right in front of me.

And again, touching bases on those EAS accessories

underneath the hood, I'm able to monitor things like boost,

exhaust gas temps, drive pressure, fast lift pump

pressure, fuel rail pressure, battery voltage,

and even engine coolant temp, all right here in front of me.

Also, in the center console, I have a Tuffy lockbox

that gives me the ability to lock up

any important information I need, mainly guns.

Also in front of it I made a little switch panel that

houses the Switch Pros 8100.

I love this thing.

The Switch Pros 8100 gives me eight programmable buttons

that I can control all that Baja Designs lighting

at the push of a switch.

So, again, all that lighting, programmable.

I can have it on, off, momentary,

you name it, as well as the ARB air locker switches.

It's all set up right here in arm's reach.

All right, guys, that's a wrap on episode one

here on Project Mi Next week, we're going to do episode two,

and we're going to cover all the performance parts, as well

as my favorite, all the suspension work.

What I really Think Of The HUDA BEAUTY FAUX FILTER FOUNDATION | MakeupByParesa - Duration: 4:46.

hi everybody welcome back this hair is gonna really annoy me I'm pretty sure

you can see by title from what it is is my header beauty foundation review I've

had this foundation for a while so many people would have really against the

packaging because it's like plastic and it's quite no I would I wouldn't taste

an expensive foundation but it is up there

it's thirty two-pound which to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be really cheap I

know so many people are like wow 20 foundations in 26 pounds and it's a

glass but why is her w/e by 80 pounds to be honest everyone is going to be

different so yeah don't expect like 799 but with regards to the fact that it's

plastic and people are saying it at that price it should be glass I don't really

see that as a thing because I can get a 799 foundation in a glass bottle and I

can get 32 Pung foundation in a plastic bottle it's more of the person behind

the foundation that you're painful I know a lot of people were complaining

about that and I'm just like yo you need to chill the shade I got is in baklava

which is free for TG it is on that foundation so just dry down in your skin

it does not oxidize it does come with a little sample of the primer I've heard a

lot of people say how bad this is so yeah I've not tried it I can't give you

my opinion on it she said that it's best applied with a dense brush or a beauty

sponge now I've tried that and I feel like for me personally that is when it

looks its worst I don't like using a dense brush or a sponge to apply the

foundation like it's too much and it really sits especially here it really

sits into those line and we have lines but like when I smart when I talk

obviously you do not get lines and I feel like it just looks 100 times worse

and actually is I then tried it with a sort of less dense more sheer brush like

this one morphe m4a4 now I don't know if you can see but the minute you put it on

you know it's a thick foundation it definitely is a matte heavy foundation

which sometimes can be really difficult to blend across your face I do

find out I have to work really fast because it just dries really quickly you

will definitely notice the scent it smells really strong of like perfume

it's not a horrible smell it's just a nice sort of floral smell but it is very

very strong I can really smell it on my face all day long it is good at covering

like it's covered those spots quite well I do notice that when I wear this

foundation I can really see my pores so these are the pros it is full coverage

it does last pretty much all day you don't necessarily need to set the

foundation though in some areas I do around my mouth especially it's got a

pretty good shade range the cons is that it smells way too strong of perfume it

does dry down on your skin but then it is a matte foundation so it's going to

happen but it does dry down your skin so the color that you first put on won't be

the shade that will be on your face like it will dry

sorry darker also it is a bit too thick in terms of how it sits on your skin I

don't have any concealer on so you can sort of see my dark circles there but it

has covered them quite well though you can see my pores around this area which

I have foundations that you just can't see my pores so I feel like this does

make them look a lot worse I would say it is a good foundation I really enjoy

wearing the foundation but I have to work quite hard at really making it sit

well on my skin overall I mean it is a great foundation but in my opinion I

feel like it just creases too much on my face that it just makes me not want to

use it so that and the smell is just too much for me I will continue to use it

but I won't repurchase it so I hope you enjoyed the video if you did of course

give it a thumbs up subscribe for more videos as well if you have a product

that you really want me to review for you let me know thank you for watching

and I shall see you in my next video

How Many Days Cycle Is Best For Healthy Menstrual Cycle | What is a Normal Length of a Period? - Duration: 3:18.

how many their cycle is best for healthy menstrual cycle how often should I get

my period you should get your period about once every month

a typical menstrual cycle is about 28 days this means that there should be

about 28 days from the first day of your period to the first day of your next

period 28 days is an average number but anywhere between 21 and 40 days is

normal what happens if period comes early an early period can be bleeding

again just days after your last period are for example two weeks before you

expect the next one to arrive it can be caused by hormonal and lifestyle changes

that disrupts the balance of your body unbalanced hormones are the main cause

for an early period an early period could also indicate the beginning of an

irregular menstrual cycle but it can also be an indicator for polycystic

ovary syndrome it's time to visit your doctor for a consult early periods can

sometimes be a sign of pregnancy or implantation bleeding how often should

bleeding continues your Peter will usually last between three to five days

but in some cases bleeding continues for eight to ten days it indicates as

abnormal and the amount of blood flow you have will probably be different each

day you will usually have the most blood in the beginning of your period and the

least towards the end when you are first getting your period you may have a very

heavy period one cycle and very light one the next now the quantity of

bleeding during periods is 30 to 50 ml if it gets more than 80 ml then it's

indicated as abnormal some women get dark

chunky clots of blood during their period when they have days of heavy

cramping and heavy bleeding your body usually makes things call anticoagulants

that keeps your blood from clotting as it moves to your vagina and out of your

body but during days of heavy bleeding and

cramping the blood may be leaving the uterus so quickly there isn't time to

release these anticoagulants the blood then clots if you have clots that are

bigger than the size of a quarter you must talk with your healthcare provider

periods during pregnancy miscarriage miscarriage is nothing but loss of

pregnancy in the first twenty weeks is a very common experience especially within

the first thirteen weeks of the pregnancy when a miscarriage occurs very

early in pregnancy it can be difficult to tell the difference between a normal

menstrual period and a miscarriage especially if a person occasionally are

regularly experiences heavy or painful periods symptoms of both menstrual

periods and miscarriage can include heavy bleeding

pain and cramping if a person doesn't know they are pregnant and has a

miscarriage around the time of an expected period they'll probably assume

they are having a period as usual if you are nervous that you might be pregnant

and want to know if your bleeding is a miscarriage or a normal period you

should take a pregnancy test or visit your health care provider

miscarriage may occur because of hormonal imbalance and chromosomal

abnormalities there is baby forms in abnormal condition it will also lead to

missed miscarriage experts suggest that the age is a factor to consider in the

case of miscarriage and moreover it can be treatable by consulting write

gynecologist for any queries and solutions feel free to comments in below

Huuuuuuuuuuh.

Hey, guys.

I have a slight announcement to make.

I'm... too ambitious.

Not that I want to climb Mt. Everest -

(Although I do)

- but I want to do sooo much.

There already are quite a few funny and successful YouTubers

who make animated videos

so I don't want to be cliche.

I hope to eventually make a variety of videos

from short films,

both live action AND animated

to sketch comedy and mini video series.

And I want to do it all myself.

Huuuuuhwuauhh.

I'm not even that good yet.

But I have to start somewhere, right?

I'm sorry.

This video has no point.

Because it's not a knife.

*crickets chirping*

That was really bad.

What Were Adam and Eve Thinking? - Duration: 3:38.

Yesterday we saw that God

created Adam and Eve perfectly.

They had a perfect relationship with God,

perfect relationship with each other,

and they had opportunities for meaningful service.

So, what happened?

Well, in Genesis 3

we're told that the devil came

and tempted Adam and Eve in the garden.

He started off kind of subtly and

he said to Eve,

"Did God really say

you must not eat from any

fruit of any of the trees in the garden?"

And Eve said,

"God did say that we could eat

fruit from any tree in the garden

except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

For if we eat of that,

we will surely die."

And then the devil stepped up his attack.

He said, "You will surely not die."

Now wait a minute.

So God said you will surely die

and the devil said you will surely die not.

Can both of those statements be true?

No.

Do you see what Satan was trying to do?

Satan was trying to make

friends with Adam and Eve

and in so doing,

make Adam and Eve God's enemies.

And they listened,

and they ate,

and the effects of sin were instantaneous.

They heard God walking in the garden

and the Bible says that they hid.

Now, the word used for "hide" there

is an intensive word.

Have you ever played hide-and-seek

with a three-year-old

and watched them through your fingers as you counted?

I know that's cheating but it's so cute.

What do they do?

They bounce from one place,

to the next, to the next, to the next

as though a lamp, or a coffee table

is really going to be able to hide them.

That's the word used to describe

what Adam and Eve were doing in the garden.

They were hiding from God in this place,

and then that place, and then that place.

And then God confronted them.

Have you eaten from the tree

I told you not to eat from?

Immediately, Adam points his finger at his wife.

He even says, "The woman you put here with me,

she gave me some fruit and I ate."

The first guy ever to know what it's like

to be in the doghouse with his wife.

And God lays out the effects of sin.

He says

there's going to be pain in childbirth,

there's going to be strife in marriage,

difficulty in work,

and ultimately

there's going to be death.

You remember the three keys to a meaningful life?

Good relationship with God?

They no longer had it.

They hid from him.

A good relationship with others?

They were pointing blame fingers at each other.

Opportunities for meaningful service?

Well, now there was going to be difficulty

and strife in that service.

But then God does something incredible.

He makes the first promise of a Savior.

He says,

"And I will put enmity,

hatred,

hostility,

between you and the woman

and between your offspring and hers.

He will crush your head

and you will strike his heel."

I always think it's kind of interesting

that the first promise of a Savior

wasn't spoken to Adam and Eve.

It was spoken to Satan.

God is the original trash talker.

But notice what he was so powerfully doing.

Satan

had gotten the wall of hatred

to get moved

in between Adam and Eve and God.

What is God promising to do?

I'm going to put the wall back where it belongs,

between you and Satan.

Tomorrow we're going to look at

the effects of sin

as well as God's solution for us.

What an Ex-TV News Producer Learned from Doing YouTube | TIPS FOR BEGINNERS - Duration: 8:30.

Hi I'm Ex-TV producer Jennifer Moore in a couple months ago I quit my job at CNN

I sold my house and I became a full-time youtuber

yes I really did do that and if you'd like to read more about my

decision-making process and just all that went into it I wrote a blog post

and I did another video talking about that but in this video we're gonna talk

about YouTube because in the past two years I've learned a tremendous amount

about YouTube that I think could help you so if you are just getting started

with YouTube you don't know what to do or if you're one of my TV news friends

and you were just curious about it hopefully this video will help you ask

someone with a TV background working in lots of newsrooms and having a lot of

produce and experience I think I had a bit of an arrogant attitude when I first

started youtubing you know I kind of thought you know what I think I could

really kill this I you know obviously can produce videos and I think this will

be easy well now that I thought it would be easy

but I just I didn't realize just how hard and challenging it is to really be

successful on YouTube so if YouTube's not in your radar I

would definitely encourage you to at least learn more about it familiarize

yourself with some of the bigger creators because you might need to know

their names I mean how many of you guys were googling Logan Paul recently so

definitely make sure that you know who these people are so that maybe a story

pops up or you see something that might be worthy of coverage something I do

really want to talk about is the tremendous difference between television

traditional broadcasting and YouTube as a platform you may think hey my TV

skills are gonna translate really well into YouTube and yes there are some

skills that are valuable like if you can produce videos if you can shoot if you

can add it those things are all really great but I think one thing I learned is

how little I really knew about YouTube there is a loss seriously a lot to know

like say you're a reporter if you are you know we're getting your first job

you know you do your story and you're seen by people but with YouTube you

really have to market and distribute your content in a way that optimizes

this YouTube algorithm and if you don't know what the YouTube algorithm is you

need to google it and you need to do some research because it's this behemoth

basically YouTube has certain signals and there's lots of different fact

as I go into if YouTube promotes your video is how your videos rank and search

like if you search in TV reporter you know will your video show up at the top

or will and not even be seen on the first page so there is almost like a

science into some of these things ever since I publicly announced that I was

doing this it's been very interesting to see the response from my former

colleagues and friends now there are some folks they're very curious about it

they've been messaging me and saying you know hey how do you how do you do this

you know I'm very interested in doing this I would I think it'd be cool to

start a channel with my kids and then you get people that I think on the

service they'll be like oh that's really cool but I think in their head they're

probably thinking I'm crazy and you know that's completely understandable I think

when you're not familiar with the YouTube space and with the community and

if you don't really get it I think I would probably think that too but I will

say YouTube is not a get-rich-quick scheme for the vast majority of people

that are seriously doing YouTube this was a process that took them years to to

really start to build and generate income it took me about two years before

the channel was starting to make any sort of really noticeable income it's it

is growing and I do make money not just from the ads Fred that run on the videos

but in several other ways as well I am in some affiliate programs like the

Amazon affiliate program and I also started to work with brands a little bit

more and entertain the idea of sponsorships so there's quite a few

different avenues for generating income and don't rely on one thing and also you

know leverage the skills that you do have so that's one of the reasons I

started this channel X TV producer is because you know I have a sewing channel

called sewing report and then I was experimenting with this personal channel

Jen talks forever but you know I I do have all this experience working in the

media industry so I thought you know why not use it and maybe help people

understand it better and and try to bring value both to the YouTube

community and to my TV friends so that's why I decided to do this now you may

think that the key to success on YouTube is to get a viral video get millions of

subscribers quickly and then go from there but I think the majority of the

people I've talked to that action earn a living on YouTube you know like

Sean kennel are like my friend John from beyond the brick

these are people that really built the business over time YouTube is a marathon

it's not a sprint and I have found that one of the biggest keys to my growth has

been consistency it's not viral videos but it's uploading regularly and it's

also really putting the work into creating good content and packaging it

well that means having a really good thumbnail really strong thumbnail really

thinking out my title doing research on what kinds of videos might be have the

best chance of being viewed and also really working on your description box

your tags doing the closed captions manually there's a lot of work that goes

into each video that I think people don't see and it's it's very time

consuming and I've spent a lot of man-hours really trying to master it I

think I've gotten better over the past couple years and hopefully I'll continue

to improve but that's something I think you should know if you are if you've

never done YouTube or if you are interested in it is that consistency

matters Casey Neistat who's a very popular vlogger says just keep uploading

and you know I found that's true as my sewing channel continued to grow this

bank of videos I really started to see some some real spikes in traffic and a

lot more subscribers since I have a lot of videos so if you're trying it out you

know you post a couple videos and you're not seeing any success yet just give it

time because you may not see growth on your channel for a year or for two years

some people are very lucky and they grow very quickly but a lot of channels need

time to develop and need time to develop a quality audience so don't be

discouraged if you upload a few videos and nothing happens or you don't get any

views as far as what gear and editing software I use I will link my kit below

I normally shoot with Canon cameras I have a Canon 70d at a Canon a DD I also

have some fairly inexpensive lights but my setup isn't crazy expensive and I

only recently got a subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud which I'm really

excited about because I've been learning about I've been learning After Effects

and Adobe Premiere and Photoshop and hopefully that will really help me

improve the quality of my videos I would really like to learn special effects and

really try to make my thumbnails the best they can be and that's one

thing that I would recommend to you is if you are trying to get into YouTube

make sure your thumbnails are on point like look at some successful thumbnails

look at YouTube's trending page look at some of the other creators in your niche

that are successful and make sure your thumbnails are extremely appealing make

sure your title is something that is very clickable I'm not saying you should

click pay people I'm just saying you need to come up with really good titles

so YouTube is not impossible to to do you just really need to deploy better

strategy than say in 2006 when it was just cat videos but I really do believe

in the future of YouTube and other forms of new media I'm sure there'll be

something else like YouTube that comes along that we can't even see but I think

there's a lot of opportunity here and that's why I decided to make the leap so

anyways I hope this video is helpful if you have any questions about youtube or

if you have any suggestions or comments feel free to leave them below if you

enjoyed these types of videos feel free to subscribe to Ex-TV producer I am

Jennifer Moore and I'm your guide inside the media industry

What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #29 Stop training an attack dog - Duration: 1:30.

- Hey everybody, how are you?

It's Jeff Gellman of Solid K9 Training with my,

what would Jeff do, dog training tip of the day.

Tip number 29.

Stop holding your dog back

at the front door or anywhere else.

But let me give you a perfect example

of what a lot of folks do is usually when somebody comes

to the front door their dog is barking like crazy,

they'll grab the dogs flat buckle collar

or whatever they've got on and they hold the dog back.

It physically possibly works but what you're doing

is you're actually getting the dog agitated

and they'll want to pull harder against the pressure.

If you've ever seen a protection dogs or sport dogs

that's actually how we get them to bark and lunge

and like, it looks like they're about to kill somebody.

It's because we put leash pressure on them,

whether it's on a flat buckle collar

or a harness, we hold them back,

they get very, very frustrated

and maybe we physically can remove them

but trust me next time somebody comes to that door

they're going to work even harder.

So that's what I want you to do.

Jeff Gellman of Solid K9 Training.

What would Jeff do?

Dog training tip of the day, tip number 29.

Stop physically holding your dog back.

What should you do?

We've got videos on that as far as the place command

and other things but I wanted to just give you a tip

about what not to do.

Madly in love with you.

What Happened before Selena Gomez at the 2018 Grammys| Justin Bieber absence - Duration: 3:48.

Hit the subscribe button and press the bell icon to get more take videos

Why isn't selena gomez at the 2018?

Grammys when reports surfaced that Justin Bieber would not be attending the Grammys because he was instead

focusing on working on new music

It was already clear that Jelena would not be making their we're back together yet again debut on January 28th

But now we know that neither side of the couple is making any sort of Grammys return

Selena Gomez also didn't attend the 2018 Grammys on Sunday night, and it makes sense that she didn't go

Gomez isn't nominated for any awards this year

Nor is she performing

nor is she

presenting

The reason that would have made the most sense for her to attend would have been if Bieber was going and she was supporting him

Bieber is nominated for record of the year song of the Year and Best Pop duo/group Performance

For the DES Pacita remix along with Luis FONSI and daddy, yankee

Still he decided not to attend even with all those nominations and even though Fonzie and daddy

Yankee are performing the song during the show on top of that Gomez has been laying fairly

Low recently she did some press with her friend and kidney donor francha raised of following their surgeries and she

performed at the American Music Awards in November

But other than that things have been pretty low-key for Gomez

She hasn't posted on Twitter since December

And she has stopped posting as frequently on Instagram with her last post being one from January 7

That said her name has stayed in the news for one because of her relationship with Bieber

But also because of her relationship with her mother

Gomez's mom mandy TV has recently spoken out about her daughter on social media

particularly when it comes to Gomez's choice to work with director Woody Allen a choice

Which has been widely criticized there were also rumors that Gomez and TV's

Relationship was strained because of Bieber being back in the singer's life

Whatever the case in regardless of the status of the mother and daughters relationship

It wouldn't be a surprise if Gomez wanted to avoid being faced with questions or more comments about her mother

Beaver Allen or a combination of all three while Gomez didn't receive any Grammy nominee ear

It wasn't because she didn't qualify

The 25 year old did not have an album that would qualify this year her last album

Revival came out in 2015, but she had a couple of singles that would have been eligible

Including bad liar fetish and her collaboration with kygo. It ain't me her fans

Definitely took notice that she wasn't nominated and shared their very passionate thoughts about the snub on social media

So far in her career gomez hasn't received any Grammys love in the form of nominations

But she has attended this show a couple times in the past

She attended last year with her best friend allure Swift and also attended in 2011 this year

She skipped the red carpet in ceremony

But feeling as she could end up nominated next year as could Bieber perhaps

2019 will be the year of their Grammys debut as a pair it's unclear what Gomez is doing on Sunday

Instead of going to the Grammys, but perhaps like the rest of viewers

She's cuddled up on her couch checking out the show and refreshing Twitter from the comfort of her own home

It at least must be nice to not be walking around in uncomfortable heels on the red carpet for once

What Meghan Markle said about Donald Trump when she called him a 'mis****t' and 'di***' - Duration: 10:07.

this is stubborn News Channel please subscribe for updates what Megan

Markel said about Donald Trump when she called him a misogynist and divisive

Megan Markel blasted Donald Trump as divisive and a misogynist in a

passionate rant in 2016 it's safe to say Donald probably won't be receiving an

invite to the Royal Wedding then quotes from a 2016 interview with Megan the

Year Trump was elected into power reveal exactly what she thinks of the President

of the United States appearing on the nightly show before the election had

taken place host Larry Wilmore asked Megan what she thought of the

possibility of Trump coming into power

she replied it's really the moment that I go we film suits in Toronto and I

might just stay in Canada I mean come on

if that's really the reality that we are talking about come on that is really a

game-changer in terms of how we move in the world here during her animated

takedown of Trump Megan added yes of course Trump is

divisive think about just female voters alone I think it was in 2012 the

Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points that's a huge number in with

as misogynistic as Trump is in so vocal about it that's a huge chunk of it

you are not just voting for a woman if it's Hillary because she's a woman but

certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don't really want that

kind of world that he's painting for us Megan should probably savor this

discussion as she may not be able to get quite so heated about Trump and future

considering the royal protocol is to remain impartial when it comes to

politics during his ITV interview with Piers Morgan Trump responded to Megan's

previous comments on him being a misogynist and divisive he said well I

still hope they're happy Megan and Harry revealed they are engaged to be married

on November 27th last year they will marry on May 19th in Windsor

Who Fixes What? A guide to repairs | Renting Scotland - Duration: 1:38.

Now and again, our homes need a bit of maintenance.

but if you're renting or letting privately

you need to know which repairs are the tenant's responsibility

and which ones are the landlord's.

What if a light bulb needs changed

or there's a spill on the carpet

or the kitchen sink is clogged with cooking oil?

these are all things that should be fixed by the tenant

who is responsible for keeping the property clean,

treating it with care,

and using appliances correctly.

But what if there's a leak in the ceiling

or the heaters have stopped working

or the oven is faulty?

These are all repairs that should be done

by the landlord.

Landlords need to ensure that the property

is fit to live in,

and are responsible for anything affecting its safety -

like the plumbing, electrics or insulation.

It's important that any faults are reported to the landlord

as soon as the problem is discovered.

If the landlord doesn't carry out the repairs,

tenants can apply to the Housing & Property Chamber

of the First-Tier Tribunal for Scotland.

Remember: normal wear and tear is to be expected

and both tenants and landlords should allow for this!

In case there's any confusion over who is responsible for what,

it should be easy to find out

by reading through your tenancy agreement

or visiting Renting Scotland.org.

What is Marshadow?- Pokemon Origins - Duration: 2:30.

Yo what's poppin' people!

Its your boy SoundProof back on that Pokemon *ISH!

The mysterious Marshadow.

I thought it was going to be a cool looking Pokemon.

Oh well.

Able to conceal itself in shadows, it never appears before humans, so its very existence

was the stuff of myth.

While lurking in the shadows of others, Marshadow is said to be able to copy their movements

and powers.

This Pokémon is said to be craven and cowering.

So what the heck is it based on.

The closest thing to Marshadow I found were Nightmarchers.

In Hawaiian legend, Nightmarchers were the ghosts of ancient Hawaiian warriors who passed

away a long time ago.

It appears that their souls do not rest because they move with purpose to the beat of primitive

pounding drums.

Some even say these spirits are armed with archaic weaponry and are clothed in decorated

helmets and cloaks.

They seem to be marching en route to or from a battle.

Who knows?

That lines up perfectfully with Marshadow's two typings.

Marshadow being a ghost Pokemon matches up with the Nightmarchers being spirits and the

Fighting type fits perfect with the Nightmarchers being warriors.

Cool Their ghostly procession must never be interrupted.

Legend has it that just resting your eyes upon the Night Marchers could signal a grim

fate.

Anyone in the path of these spirits are to are urged to crouch low to the ground, "play

dead" and avert the eyes.

Any sound or movement could invite a Night Marcher's deadly glance.

Trust me no one wants to suffer a terrible fate.

Even more frightening, although the Night Marchers allegedly float a few inches off

the ground, some locals claim of seeing mysterious footprints in their path after they have passed.

Whoa Not in a million years did I expect Marshadow

to be so terrifying.

I figured it was shadowboxing or something.

I guess I'll leave everything here.

If you enjoyed the video consider leaving a like!

And until next time!

Its your boy SoundProof back on that Pokemon *ISH peace!
