Auto news on Youtube Feb 28 2018

so what is Vero? every other single person in other social media platforms

seems to be screaming the same question what is vero in this video I'll take you

to the vero app and I'll explain to you what vero is and I'll show you around

how the vero app looks like hey everyone this is Bob from trueonlineriches and

this is Bob's Den. let's get into what vero is all right now Vero is a new

social media platform / app that has that seem to have emerged from nowhere

but they have been working hard under the radar since the Year 2015 the

creation of Vera is initiated by three people whose names I cannot pronounce so

I have printed the names out here so I cannot pronounce it correctly but I'll

just read out for you anyways the first name is Ayman Hariri

the second one is motaz Nabulsi and the third one is Scott Birnbaum so

those are the three guys who founded Vero all right now Vero is just another

social media platform you say and so what's the big deal you may ask that's

true but let's get into it so what Vera

claims to provide is a service or a social media platform or an app which

has no advertisements at all and no algorithms of any kind so that means no

advertisers and you're not being promoted your posts are not being

promoted to you no favor advertisers at looking at their money and how they're

gonna spend their money at so this means a social media platform with no

advertisements at all the OG Facebookers might know how it feels like back in the

days the vero app media explosion started all of a sudden really really

quick out of nowhere I think it is because all the

influencers from other social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram and

YouTube these people started talking about it and people caught on to it and

it just caught on like wildfire and now that everyone is trying to get into vero

it is literally crashing down their serve servers I just joined couple of

hours ago and I just couldn't get into you know do some posts or like just even

to look around it's started popping out the same error message which I will just

put it somewhere here I forgot what the error message was but it's it's somehow

said likely it is temporarily unavailable all right so I've been

talking too much I'll take you to the Vero app and show you around so here is

the Vero app I joined Vero a couple hours ago like I said and therefore I

don't have any followers at all so if you decide to join Vero, come

find me search my name Bob babu I'll just put it on the screen here for you

anyways this Viral app looks super sleek crisp and clean to me the blurry

background as you can see this blurry background effect kind of gives

it a distinguishable pop like no other social media apps unlike the other

social media platforms which uses algorithms and like to boost posts and

such you're very feed would be taken up by shares and posts from you and your

followers only and that too in a chronological order so the posts are not

held back from you or not hidden for me or in any way at least for now they

claim alright on the top right hand side is the navigation icons where you can

search for people configure your profile your collections which I'll talk about

in a second notifications and messages now your friends or connections as they

call in Vero are grouped into close friends friends and acquaintances you

can see these icons here which represent such anyways when you share something

you can decide who sees your particular posts and shares if you just want your

close friend to see certain posts you can select that way or if you want to

show all of your friends and you know it doesn't matter who sees you can select

all three together so that's a little different from other social media

platforms alright so like I said here's a different aspect of vero which is the

collections as you can see here you have photos and videos links music movies

book and places under the collections so this would all be the links or shares

you have posted under which it will kind of collect in automatically the cool

part is that when you tap on one of these let's say links it would then open

up all the links shared by you and your collect connections also you're able to

search whatever if there is something related

to your search word that has been shared that would show up in here it doesn't

matter if you upload it or your friends uploaded it so all will be aggregated in

here in this section and you would not have to go out of the app that's the

other aspect they're claiming to have so there's a quick snapshot on the vero app

here so how does Vero make their money if they don't have any advertisements

running on your feeds so here is the catch where o is actually a

subscription-based service it is only free for the first 1 million people so

if you decide to join Vera and you somehow got in that means you are 1 in

that million after that 1 million signups you have to pay a subscription

fee they have not mentioned how much yet there would be a fee to continue for

those people after that 1 million subscriptions Vero also makes it

possible for users to buy books musics movies etc from within the Vera app with

a Buy Now button from posts and shares from other people so that you never have

to leave the app to purchase it that's what they say like so that would be

another way they would be making money so these merchants who have all these

products like movies and books and music or whatever they have so when someone

buys through them through vero I mean when a transaction takes place a

percentage of that amount would go to vero from the merchants so you don't pay

anything I mean the users don't pay anything but vero make money out of the

merchants as well without advertisements alright so there is my quick overview of

vero and I hope this video helped you answer your question what is vero make

sure you subscribe to my channel here at bob's den and if you decide to get into

vero like I said try find me I don't have any friends that we're all right

now as of now so I it would be great if you can find me and follow me as well

and yeah maybe I can follow you back and share your posts and such let's get

connected at vero and I'll see you next video bye

What To Expect: First Time at a Sex Shop - Duration: 1:34.

So you're going to a sex shop chances are you have the giggles and you want to

know what each and every toy is for. Let's break it down so you know that you

can feel comfortable going in and getting out what you want to get out of

it which is pleasure.

Step one. You need to take the shame out of going into a sex shop.

Again you are going in here with the outcome of increasing the

pleasure in your daily and sexual life. This is a really good thing so remove

all the shame and guilt you've been taught around it because really you're

just owning your truth and stepping up to the plate which we all commend.

Thing two. Go inwith an open mind. You might think you know what you like and you

might have let that shame creep in and prevent you from exploring something

else when you go into a sex shop open up and maybe you see what calls to you and

who knows try it out you might actually love to introduce something new into

your life that you never even thought about before. Thing three. Try to find an

independently owned sex shop that employs a lot of women on staff and the

reason is that it becomes a much more grounding kind of concierge style

shopping experience where you can have the safety in the comfort of asking the

questions that you don't know the answer to and they will help you

there is no question they have not heard before and even if it's something

totally far out there their approach to answering it is gonna be one in a very

sex positive way that's going to again get you to your end goal which is to

increase your pleasure.

So good luck and have fun.

What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #57 - Duration: 1:51.

- Good evening everybody.

How are you?

It's Jeff Gellman of Solid K9 Training with my

What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day,

Tip Number 57.

Coming to you live from LAX.

(person moaning)

Just because your dog is reactive on the leash

that doesn't mean your dog is aggressive.

A lot of times we get a lot of folks that contact us

to help us with an aggressive dog, that's our specialty.

But I'll ask them, I'm like,

"Well, how many dog fights has your dog gotten into?"

None.

"How many times has your dog bitten a person?"

None.

So you really don't know yet, you really don't know.

And a lot of people what they'll do is they'll say...

well, when its dog's on the walk,

it looks like the dog wants to harm another person.

It lunges are humans, it lunges at dogs.

So a lot of the times, though,

it looks like the dog is acting aggressive,

but it's acting reactive.

We don't know if the dog's actually aggressive.

We're actually not gonna know until we put the dog

in a situation where it can bite,

that's why we use muzzles,

and it most of the time doesn't bite.

So, I'm not gonna discount the fact

that there's aggressive dogs,

we work with them all the time.

Those can also be "fixed".

But don't think you've had an aggressive dog yet

until you truly know.

Talk to somebody that actually specializes in aggression.

We're seeing a lot of people with a lot of dogs

who are being told by a lot of trainers,

"Oh, your dog's aggressive,"

and they're actually just reactive.

So, reactive dogs, that can be relatively simple.

But say you couldn't fix that, at least you know.

There's a level of comfort there.

You're gonna wanna work on that.

So, remember:

Reactive doesn't always mean aggressive.

That's what I wanted to tell you today.

Jeff Gellman of Solid K9 Training with my

What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day,

LAX Version, Tip Number 57.

Madly in love with you,

and I'll talk to you tomorrow.

See if I can get this uploaded now before my flight leaves.

Bye, bye.

it would be easier more convenient and personal to call me it shows me that he

that communication and understanding is important between us

Ask Limo U Show: Episode #93 - What was your goal at ILCT Vegas your first time? - Duration: 8:40.

so bill typically the operators and the members across the nation have some

great questions for you but I think I have a great one for you that's better

be good or you'll never be on another episode I think so I'm taking a chance

here and I have no idea what it is yup but I did some research and I was kind

of looking back and I saw that your first IL CT show was in 2007 is all

right long time ago yeah it was awhile ago now

I was pretty young at the time was in about elementary school so you think

that's funny so just curious way back then going into

that show if you remember what was your number one goal at that show in Vegas

I've been in the industry online for about eight months

I've only been to one show which was the LC TV show at Mohegan Sun Casino so I

would say my number one goal was really networking from the affiliate standpoint

to acquire affiliates that was probably my number one goal and but I think even

bigger than that was my number one fear I was really nervous because I was

speaking at that show my first speaking engagement one I'd really didn't know

that many people at the LC TE show George Jacobs but from Wendy said you

had started a relationship with and he introduced me to some people at the LC

TV show Tammy sue Kochi Oh Dawson brother Maurice Brewster Tom Naza God

rest his soul who else I know there were some other people I did dinner ed

Kolbert who was with Boston Kochi affiliate managed at that time now with

Commonwealth Matt altough from Savoia so I walked out of the first lct East with

two affiliates Boston coach and Savoia which was great so going into the big

show Vegas il CT I've never been there before you know I wanted to come out of

there with a lot of affiliate business so that was my primary goal didn't I was

like everybody else I didn't have a strategy not like the stuff I tell you

guys to do to have a plan and the strategy and write your emails ahead of

time I was like everybody else I just didn't know what to expect so that was

kind of the goal but that session that I was speaking on believe it or not I mean

you're probably like fourth grade 2007 I was talking about social media so

sitting here today and what we do with Facebook Ads and AdWords an online mark

it's ironic and I'll never forget at the end of the session I was I was really

really the beginning of the session I was nervous that nobody was gonna show

up and when that first person showed up and came and sat down and like the 30th

the row because the room was sat for like 3 or 400 people like hey come on up

to the front you know we can talk to each other because nobody else is gonna

be here nobody knows who I am and nobody knows what the hell social media is in

2007 either so kind of the other funny part was and you may not even be aware

of this but was the only social media platform that phew I asked him at the

end of my presentation who's heard of lengthen who's heard of Twitter who's

over to Facebook they're all brand new like in 2006 and 7

nobody maybe one or two people are raising their hands but then I get to

anybody heard of MySpace and everybody their hands go up everybody was on

MySpace at that time which is yeah you know not even around any longer so I

think I was really fearful of that I was really nervous even though I'd done

public speaking before but you know really my plane and going in without a

plan but my goal was to acquire affiliate business and learn and get

education it's so vastly different today because this show that we're getting

ready to go something heck just by the time this airs it's only a couple of

weeks away right the education is gonna be phenomenal the NLA has done an

unbelievable job with the education it's kind of gone from a Monday Tuesday

Wednesday show into you know Sunday I mean with all the stuff we're doing you

know we've got a Google AdWords session on Sunday for 90 minutes we've got

another 90 minute session you know on search engine optimization that I'm

doing there's the Chosin payment sponsored I

think it's B 2 or B 4 Network but that starts like 4 o'clock on Sunday that is

a hundred percent speed affiliate networking that everybody that wants to

play it business should be attending and all that stuff is before the show even

officially starts on Monday and then you got all day Monday in the show floor in

the education and Tuesday and Wednesday there's a lot of great stuff that's

going on then you have all these different breakout events like the

mastermind group that we're doing on Monday and Tuesday yeah by the way I

think we still have one or two tickets still available for that if you want to

sign up I'm sure somebody'll throw the link into this so I'm probably more

excited about this show and I'm sure you are too being your first Vegas show

can't wait that you're going - and with the team but that one was

really just about affiliate networking was probably more fear than it was

excitement going right first makers show most area to speak yeah first one you've

ever been to yeah absolutely I mean when you don't know anybody

yeah no at all so that's it but like social media and look how it all comes

around and now look at what we build it well I mean it's it's kind of funny and

you know people ask me how I built my brand in this industry and it all

started speaking at that show and but it really from that point on has been about

social media it's what I've done on Facebook and Twitter you know and

lengthen and all of that type of stuff right you know I look at over the last

11 years how that's manifested and you know today it's as we're filming this

show I literally did a live broadcast this morning telling people the mistakes

they're making with not optimizing their job description and profile on Facebook

they're not thinking of Facebook as a search engine algorithm and people that

are searching for that or when people are like trying to join our group like

our limo growth group and you know if your name's Tom Smith and your job is a

garbage man or a web designer or something we're not letting the group

yeah right so if it doesn't say Tom Smith owner of Tom Smith limo or

whatever it is you're not going to get in and your clients are thinking in

those same terms right you know and then we see similar things that happen on

their LinkedIn profiles once again two huge social media channels that can

impact your brand and impact your business building skills so I look

forward to that stuff that's so kind of how I built my brand mm-hmm and that's

but I think it all started with the fear that I had going into that first show

well that's the kind of value that people are gonna be able to get at this

show this year in Vegas I know I'm excited for it I blame this one LCP show

in the last 11 years well one Vegas show and you know I can

tell you that I think I just see em getting bigger and better every single

year and you look at the content and praise God for the the work and the time

in the efforts facili that Doug Schwartz and Diane for geek on the NLA you know

show committee boards have put in to this I commend them tremendously because

they not only do they do an excellent job but the amount of time that goes

into this but then right behind you know this is

show season I guess right now because you know literally a month behind this

show we've got lab live right here in Nashville not gonna want to miss that

event and then about three weeks after that is the technology summit you know

in South Beach once again another lct event that you're not gonna want to miss

it's gonna be the first technology some it's not the leadership anymore it's a

technology summit and I'm privileged to help put the the content the speakers

and everything together with Sarah at lct for that we have my good friend who

you got to meet a few months ago Sam Mallikarjun Tom's gonna be a speaker

I'll be speaking down there really talking about tech and how it applies in

our business and moving forward over the next 10 years I'm sure there'll be a lot

of discussion about autonomous vehicles and you know that type of stuff so I

would highly recommend that one take advantage of show season we've never had

a technology summit like this in South Beach and if you're on the fence about

lab live I promise you you have never attended a bet our industry about what

you're gonna get right here not in this office it's about 50 yards right up that

road up the hill but the guests that we have coming in the the access for that

is going to be enco we're getting a little bit off topic here but I know I

love live events and you know I love the stuff that I mean I just think the value

that's being driven to you know the the people in this industry it wasn't as

robust as it is today well thanks for sharing Bill and I tell you what I'm

excited for the technology summit I'm excited for lab live and I'm excited to

see you guys in Vegas and excited to see you on the next episode of you know my

new truck they asked limo

What's STRENGTH got to do with it? || 2 Minute Tuesday - Duration: 3:05.

Hey guys, Jeff here from that bold life thank you so much for joining me for

another two minute Tuesday where I try to unpack a devotion in under two

minutes to get your week started off right so let's get started so I just

finished up this series with my youth on the Shema prayer now if you're not

familiar with the Shema goes like this here o Israel the Lord our God the Lord

is one love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with

all your strength now for two minutes I don't have time to unpack all of that

but I want to focus on that last word and that last word is love the Lord your

God with all of your strength now I always loved that passage right there's

just something powerful about love the God

love the Lord your God with all of your strength I don't like yeah I've got that

brawn not not really let's talk about that okay so what does that actually

mean right because almost strength that's not

exactly a vessel that I can use to love anything and so it's funny when you

actually start to look at the original Hebrew this word packs so much more

power than we think even when we read strength write this word think my

daughter's awake hello I can get it out in two minutes let's go the word

strength in Hebrews actually wears mode mode and it's funny because it doesn't

at all mean strength and you're like well that's weird

it actually means very or much so like when God created earth II said it is

good it is good it is good and on the seventh time he says it is my own good

it is very good or when the waters the flood waters were raging they said it is

my own raging I don't remember the word but it says extremely raging so mode is

a word that augments another word and most of the time it intensifies that

word to total capacity so if we are to love the Lord our God with our mode we

are to love God with our most intense mode too weird to love

God with love with action with duty with conversation with words with breath to

our most intense available ability and that is my time for this week so as you

go out I pray and I encourage you that you will go out and you will love God

with your actions with your words with your everything my ode is your

everything go and love the Lord with all your strength go and love the Lord with

your own alright guys hope you enjoyed this video if you did go ahead and slap

that subscribe button our least two minute Tuesday's every single Tuesday

also release a normal-sized devotion every single Friday I hope that blesses

you that encourage you I hope you stick around and leave me a comment down below

let me know how you're gonna love God with your mode this week alright guys

love you keep living that buh-bye

What is an error? - Duration: 0:39.

It's something you didn't intend to do.

That's all I need you to remember: is an error is something you didn't intend to do.

Is it difficult to get people to quit doing things they didn't intend to do?

Yeah.

Why?

Cuz they didn't intend to do them.

It's that simple.

Here's a quick exercise: you all have a pencil, right?

Somewhere on your paper, I don't care where, I want all of you--I'm gonna show you how

hard it is to get people to quit doing things they didn't intend to do.

Somewhere on your paper I want you to write down two things that you're going to do tomorrow

that right now you don't intend to.

(Laughter) Everybody right down two things that you're going to do tomorrow that right

now you don't intend to.

Top 10 Credit Card Myths & Misconceptions | Understanding What is True & False - Duration: 6:51.

Hi there, it's Ernest from Trip Astute. In this video, we're going to discuss our

top 10 credit card myths and misconceptions, and explain why most of

these ideas are not true.

(light chiming music)

Earning points and miles is a great hobby, but I know a

lot of folks still think that is some sort of scam, or that it's just too good

to be true. While some of this is based on misinformation, a lot of these doubts

are based on false assumptions that people have about credit cards. Even on

our channel, we get questions all the time that revolve around some of these

ideas, especially on how credit cards can affect your credit score. So today, we're

going to review our top 10 credit card myths and misconceptions. Number 1: Credit

cards lead to debt. This one can actually be true. I've spoken a lot about how it's

important to be responsible with your credit cards if you want to engage in

this hobby. Like a lot of things in life, the credit card is a tool but it can be

easily abused and cause a person to go into debt. If you're using credit cards

to earn points and miles, it's important to make sure that your financial house

is in order. That means tracking your budget and spending so you can pay your

bill in full. If you're carrying a balance then you're essentially negating

the value that you would earn from points. Number 2: Applying for a new

credit card will hurt your credit score. This one is also somewhat true, though

it's not as bad as a lot of people think. When you apply for a credit card, you

will often get a hard credit inquiry which is different than when you use a

service like Credit Karma or Credit Sesame. The number of hard credit

inquiries can have a negative impact on your score, so you'll often see a bit of

a drop when you apply. However, your score is also influenced by the amount of

available credit that you have. So by getting a new card, you're increasing the

amount of available credit and also lowering your credit utilization, which

is the amount of credit that you're actually using. Assuming that your

spending level doesn't change, this should cause your credit score to

increase over time. Number 3: Having too many cards hurts

your credit score. This is also a common misconception. I think it's rooted in the

same idea as the previous tip about applying for

cards. However, like I mentioned earlier, having more available credit and a

lower credit utilization usually means that your score will go up.

Number 4: You should never pay an annual fee. This is definitely false. We

did an entire video on why it's sometimes worth paying an annual fee,

especially if you're able to get value from the card. If you haven't seen our

video, definitely check it out. Number 5: You must carry a balance in order

to build your credit history. I know a lot of older folks have this

misconception. I think there was a time when this was actually true.

However, this is no longer the case. You can build your credit score by making

sure you pay your bills on time and using your credit responsibly. Number 6:

Your minimum spend timeline starts the moment you activate your card. Contrary

to what a lot of people think, this is not true. I actually didn't even know

about this until not too long ago. The clock actually starts when you're

approved, so your window to complete your minimum spend is often less than you may

think. For more information about meeting your

minimum spend, check out our playlist on the topic. Number 7: American Express

cards have no spending limit. Several of the traditional American Express cards

like the Green, Gold, and Platinum cards are considered charge cards and not

credit cards. This has led a lot of folks to believe that there is no credit limit

since you have to pay the full balance every month. This is actually false

though. If you check the American Express Platinum card's fine print,

you'll see that no preset spending limit doesn't actually mean unlimited spending.

The limit is based on your usage, your payment history, along with your credit

record and income. Number 8: If you stay at a specific hotel brand or fly a

specific airline, you should get their co-branded credit card. This can sometimes

be true. However, with the rise of flexible points programs, it can often be

better to earn points that you can use with different travel partners. For

example, I can earn three Hyatt points per dollar using my Hyatt credit card when

staying at the Andaz hotel. However, I can also earn three Chase Ultimate Rewards

points using my Sapphire Reserve card, which I can then transfer to Hyatt,

or a bunch of other airlines and hotels. In this case, I actually prefer to

use my Sapphire Reserve as I like having that extra flexibility with my points.

Number 9: You should close a credit card before getting a new one. This is

also false, and I think it's rooted in the misconception that having too many

credit cards is a bad thing. Much like what I explained earlier about getting

more credit and lowering your credit utilization with your new card, the

reverse is also true. When you cancel a card, you will often lower the amount of

available credit that you have which can increase your credit utilization.

It's like shrinking the size of a pie so it looks like you're eating more, even if

you're actually eating the same amount. There are tricks to get around this like

converting cards to no annual fee versions in order to keep the account

open. So check out our "Top Credit Card Mistakes" video for more information. And

finally, number 10: It's better to use your debit card for daily purchases. This

one is totally subjective. A lot of people tell me all the time that they

just prefer to use their debit card to pay for things. While there's nothing

wrong with that, there are some compelling reasons to use your credit

card instead. It's not just the points that you're not earning, but also the

protections that you get when using your credit card. When you use your debit card,

you're actually pulling money from your bank account. If there's a dispute or

your information is stolen, you may not have access to the affected money until

the bank completes their investigation and verifies information. I've heard a

lot of horror stories with this situation, so I personally prefer to use my credit

card. Having a payment dispute or false charge on a credit card seems much

easier to resolve and is less likely to involve me having my funds frozen until

there's a resolution. For those of you who collect points, what do your friends

"What's happening in Turkey is very dangerous and has consequences beyond those borders" | Spotlight - Duration: 10:26.

What's happening in Turkey right now, I believe, is very dangerous

and has consequences beyond those borders for sure.

The next day after we arrived in Greece we met a husband and his wife at a hospital.

The wife had just given birth, two days ago, not even.

She was seven months pregnant when they had to leave Turkey.

And she made that entire trip across the northern border with Greece, going through the woods at night,

with another two children, a small 5-year old and a boy that is just barely 14 months.

Across the Maritsa River, Evros in Greek, and walking for another seven hours or so

until they finally were stopped by the Greek police.

Seven months pregnant; giving birth to a beautiful baby girl.

And also the amazing story of compassion and welcoming.

As one older Greek lady that they met just in the hallways of the hospital

stayed with them and helped them throughout the entire process after they arrived.

Helping them translate to the doctors, to the nurses, up to when the baby was born,

and then after, with the kids back home..

She never left their sides.

This Greek lady has become like a godmother for them.

In a way, to me that shows the spirit of Greek people as well.

They named the baby after her, which is a very interesting and particularly important thing;

a Turkish family giving their baby daughter a Greek name is almost…

it's a great story of multiculturalism and welcoming,

welcoming strangers and opening your heart to them.

These are people who are being persecuted by their own government

for reasons that are not rational in any way that you can possibly try to explain it.

Why are they being persecuted?

Out of all those meetings that I was able to participate in and all the stories that I heard,

and everything that I already know of what's going on internally in Turkey.

The reasons that come to the surface are:

Because you are a teacher, you are a professor

in a school that in one way or another is associated with the Hizmet Movement,

a faculty, a university professor,

and these universities are the best known, and more highly regarded universities in the country…

Closed down, taken over, their faculty, their teachers kicked out and being jailed.

If you were perhaps a student, an alumnus of one of these schools,

you are being persecuted and that can become a charge for you to end up in jail.

If you had a bank account in a very popular and well-known bank in Turkey, as was the Bank Asya,

one where Erdogan himself cut the ribbon for its inauguration, you are accused of being a terrorist.

If you had a social network app to communicate with your friends,

I think it was called ByLock or something like that,

similar to WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger;

that was enough of a reason for you to be charged as a conspirator against the government and be jailed

without due process, without knowing when your day in court is going to be;

whether you are pregnant or with a small child.

Those were all some of the reasons why you would be targeted.

So, it just doesn't make sense.

A few days after coming back to New York, there was this horrific tragedy.

Another family, another group, trying to escape from Turkey, trying to escape persecution,

got on a small inflatable boat, small rubber boat to try to cross the Maritsa -Evros- River,

which ended up capsizing and everybody seems dead.

Almost everybody except for one person; I think one person just recently was found alive.

But out of like ten people, a mother and two children -very young- were found dead.

The rest have not been found except for this one person I believe recently was found.

It's just another example of what people are going through.

Nobody should have to go through this.

Nobody should have to feel fear in their own land.

It is something that no citizen in their country, or no human being anywhere in the world, should be exposed to.

What's happening in Turkey right now, I believe, is very dangerous

and has consequences beyond those borders for sure.

Not just for those families that are trying to escape there but, the way I see it, for all of us.

And I'm not even Turkish.

How is it that within your own country, a huge segment of your population

can be targeted and persecuted by an individual or by an individual's belief, as is happening there?

Just because of your way of thinking,

and a way of thinking that has proven to be not only positive but actually amazing in a way.

This particular movement, the Hizmet Movement, from what I've been able to experience

in this work that I'm trying to do, has been welcomed with open arms, in so many places,

so many countries around the world.

Actually, I have not encountered yet a situation or a place that hasn't accepted

and welcomed the work of this movement as something very valuable for their communities.

Education for example;

parents that I have met cannot believe how much a teacher can care for their students, for their children.

Religious leaders, priests, rabbis I have heard

have only amazing things to say about these community leaders from the Hizmet Movement,

that bring together all the members of the community, to talk, to learn about each other,

to work together for the good of their neighborhoods.

Public officials, in different countries, that can only praise the work

of what these strangers, these foreigners are doing in their land.

But in their own country [Turkey],

they're being targeted as a terrorist organization for all the good that they are actually doing.

What's happening in Turkey is a warning of intolerance, a warning of potential oppression in other places,

and we should be -as citizens of other areas, of other countries, as citizens of this world-

be very concerned, very vigilant of situations like that taking place closer to us.

Stuck In A Toxic Relationship? What About a Non-Existent One? Let's Break Some Bad Habits - Duration: 3:12.

I want to talk to you guys today about breaking habits. You know, breaking those

vile v or devil D ties. So stay tuned, hi I'm Ang and welcome SS101.

If you are new here welcome to the fam. I post every Tuesday so please

subscribe. Also guys I want to get to know you so don't forget to comment below and

give this video the thumbs up if you found it useful. Now, on to breaking these

habits, these relationship habits; the reason why they can be so difficult and

we can get caught up in these really toxic situations is because our brains

are wired to actually seek out the known rather than the unknown. It wants to

keep us safe. Now, this all made sense back in our primitive days when we were

probably going to get chased by some sort of wildebeest or lion if we went

out of our comfort zone and died; but now it's a little bit counterproductive

particularly if you're in a toxic situation and so the thing is with this

it always comes down to this horrendous quote 'the better the devil you know' Now

I don't know just throwing it out there but how about we don't date turd (poo) burgers

and we actually just be happy? So, what I'm asking you to do is ask yourself why,

this is what this is all about. So ask yourself why you have the beliefs you do,

you're with the person you're with you're hanging around with, the people

that you shag, or whatever it is but ask yourself why. Now I know you'll probably

sit there and say hey I don't have time for this but how much time have you

spent on Netflix lately? Or, alternatively how much time have you

actually spent whining about someone who doesn't make you happy? Just saying. Now the

thing with doing this whole 'why' question is it makes you look at

things completely differently. Now, I read this quote the other day that was "get

rid of anything that doesn't serve you" now calm down Mariah, I'm not talking

about literal serving here. I'm just talking about someone who doesn't bring

you happiness into your life. I'm not going to pretend that this whole why

questioning and looking at things differently is going to solve all your

problems any more than that face mask you put on or the last shot of tequila

that you had last Saturday. The thing is it is just going to make you see things

hopefully a little bit more objectively which means that you'll be

to take more control of your situation and make objective choices about whether

or not you are happy with your decisions - which hopefully you are - or you want to

continue being a victim of your circumstances or hopefully if you aren't

happy you boss up, you own up to everything, and you move on to far far

better things. So I really hope that this just helps break down things if you are

in a really toxic situation or you're in limbo land and you don't really know

where you are. I mean hey, we can all get caught up in

these situations and think that because we're putting in so much or we've

invested so much in the relationship we can't back out now I mean eventually

they'll turn around and realize that we're the one but believe me if that was

going to happen it will already would have and so this isn't about giving up

on someone this is about having respect for yourself and moving on to better

people who actually will bring you happiness. Weird. So I hope this really

helps you guys and don't forget to subscribe I will see you next Tuesday

bye

What Age Should You Start Working Out? - Duration: 2:45.

What Age Should You Start Working out?

This is me when I was 6 by the way.

Hello everybody, This is dr.Fox from the Fox's Power Basement.

Please, like and subscribe.

The general myth is that when you start lifting weights at a young age,

it will stunt your growth.

But there is no research available showing that weightlifting at a young age can influence

your growth in any way.

Some people think that the heavy weights might stunt your growth due to the external forces

applied onto the epiphyseal growth plates.

Others think that weightlifting might help you grow because of the increased levels of

testosterone, growth hormone and IGF-1.

The biggest danger of starting with resistance training at a young age is that young guys

and girls don't have a lot of patience.

They often start lifting way too heavy weights, use improper form and technique and risk injuring

themselves.

Then again, every rough, high contact sport, like rugby, martial arts, or whatever risks

of damaging the growth plates.

The most important thing young people, that just started weight lifting should focus on

is nutrition.

Typically on the age of 15-16, you are not thinking about the foods you're taking in.

Myself, for years I neglected the nutrition part of bodybuilding, and more than probably

I did not eat enough protein, missing on a lot of newbie gains.

Next to not counting macros and not getting in enough protein, a lot of youngsters simply

do not eat enough calories to maximize their muscle growth, next to their daily activities

and general development of their bodies at that age.

In conclusion, you should not worry about starting weight lifting at the age of 15 or

even as young as 13 to 14, as long as you focus on learning the proper technique, gradually

lifting more and more without losing perfect exercise form.

Next to learning exercise technique you should also learn at the same young age what matters

most about the nutrition you're taking in,

more specific learn to track your protein intake

and make sure you are eating plenty of calories and micronutrients to maximize muscle growth

as wel as your general body development and growth.

I hope you enjoyed this video.

What Is the Best Number of Players for D&D? - Duration: 6:42.

Hey, Luke Hart here.

What's the best number of players for a D&D game?

Let's take a look at the pros and cons of different numbers of players at the table.

The information I'll be presenting is based on my own experience, input from the D&D community over on Reddit, and a Twitter poll I did.

The most popular number of players was four, but we're going to lead with my personal

favorite – because it's my video -- five.

Because it's my video.

I generally have five players in all my D&D groups for a few different reasons.

The main reason is that a group of five handles absences really well.

If one player can't make a session or leaves the group, you still have four players – plenty

to play the game.

Due to folks having real lives and stuff coming up, it's normal for a player to miss a session

from time to time.

So, I think it's a good idea to plan for that eventuality.

Next, it's easier to fill party roles, such as melee fighters, spell casters, etc.

This helps guarantee that players get to play what they want without feeling pressure to

play a character because the party needs one.

Now some drawbacks to five players.

With five players, the game slows down.

That is, everything just takes longer: social interactions, combats, and DECISION MAKING.

Decision making.

Finally, Individual characters get less of a spotlight in the game, and it's more challenging

to bring in relevant details from backstories.

Next, let's talk about four players in a group!

As I mentioned, this was by far the most popular option both in the couple Reddit threads I

started and in the Twitter poll.

And, if I'm honest – and why wouldn't I be? – four is my favorite number of players,

too.

My main reason for having five players is its ability to deal with absences.

Anyway, four is great because fewer players means each gets more table time.

More spotlight.

More time to shine with individual actions.

It's also easier to bring backstories into play.

The game also moves along a lot faster – since there are only four players instead of five

who want to interrogate the crap out of the innocent shopkeeper.

And group decisions don't take nearly as long.

Never underestimate the value of being able to make decisions faster.

Never.

You underestimate the power of the Dark Side.

If you will not fight, then you will meet your destiny!

Filling rolls might be a stretch, but it's still not too bad: melees, spell casters,

etc.

The main drawback of 4 players for me is that it doesn't deal with absences super well.

If you're missing 1 player, you're down to 3 players.

Now, sure, you can probably still game with 3 players, but combats might be tough if you

were counting on 4 players.

Even if you adjust the difficulties of the encounters, your players might just not have

all the needed roles (melee fighter, caster, etc.).

And if 2 players can't show up, well, D&D's probably just not going to happen.

See, with a five-player group, even if 2 players don't show, you can still probably play

with 3.

Okay – three players.

Running a game for only three players is an absolute blast, for sure.

I've done it many times when a couple players couldn't show, and it's always enjoyable.

However, just as much as all the benefits of fewer players are amplified, all the drawbacks

of fewer players are, too.

If your group normally has 3 players and someone can't make a session – or if a player

leaves a group – running D&D could be very challenging.

So, while 3 players is lots of fun, it represents too much risk to make it a viable option for

me.

Risk?

Luke, what are you talking about?

This is a game.

Who cares?

I care!

And my players care.

No one wants the game to stop when players are absent or leave the group – unless you're

in a crappy game, but that's a different story.

Now, there are plenty of DMs out there that run groups with 2 players or even just 1 player,

too.

I suspect they are quite a bit rarer than larger groups, but it can be done, and many

people on Reddit said they're quite fun.

Actually, now that I think about it, back in high school I DM'd for just one other

player for about a year or so.

I remember it being pretty fun.

Of course, my memory sucks, so I might just be making that up.

Anyway, with that few players, you definitely need to hand craft your games – especially

your combats – to accommodate them.

Unless, of course, you have each player run two PCs!

And problem solved!

Now, what about large groups?

I'm talking 6, 7 or 8 players?

Sound crazy?

Well, it can be done, and some DMs really dig it.

One challenge is that everything is going to take a lot longer – combats, social interactions,

decision making – and when these things take longer, you run the risk of boring players

who don't have as many opportunities to participate.

My advice for this is to keep things moving.

Think of ways to make combat faster.

Don't let a player take more than 30 seconds to decide what to do.

And let's think about it.

Supposedly one round of combat takes six seconds, right?

And everything is happening simultaneously.

So why would you let one player take several minutes to decide what spell he's going

to cast?

Let's speed things up, huh?

Make sure you poll around the table, asking people what they want to do, especially players

who aren't as outgoing and might not speak up unless you ask them directly.

Actually, that last bit is probably good advice for running a group of ANY size.

I think a large group is worth trying to see if you like it.

If you don't and it fails, just split the group into 2 and run 2 games!

If you liked this video, please hit that thumbs up button and consider subscribing.

And let me know down in the comments how many players you think is best for a D&D game!

So, until next time, Let's Play D&D!
