You can do anything!

Be a responsible adult.

Chase your dreams!

Go to school.

Reach for the stars!

Have you bought your house yet?

Don't listen to anyone else!

Are you getting married?

Just do it!

Pay your bills.

Do it!

Do you have a car?

Do it!

Do you own anything?

Do it!

When are you having kids?

Are you a functioning human being?

How can you possibly do what YOU want and still be a functioning, "responsible"

adult?

I have a not-so secret secret to share with you.

{MUSIC}

I don't think there is a single person in my life that hasn't said one of those things

that I was just saying, to me.

But on the flip side.

I'm pretty sure I have said most of those things to someone else as well.

There are just thousands upon thousands of YouTube videos and commercials and poster

and memes and tv shows and movies and advertisements and magazines, etc, etc… and they're all

telling us to go chase our dreams.

They're all super motivational.

Especially for us young folk, us millennials.

I don't know.

We really.

We are millennials . That's not quotations.

Okay.

That's very inspiring.

Like yeah, I can do anything!

Gary Vee often talks about if you're job is making you unhappy, you should just quit.

Like literally walk out right now and go do what you want.

The kid that is sitting right now at a desk and saw this in a feed and you hate your - job.

Stand up.

Get the - out of here and do you.

That's Gary Vee's channels.

Casey Neistat is a huge advocate for not following the rules and also doing what you want.

Just look at what he did with his Nike commercial.

Go check him out.

This video isn't about me telling you they are wrong.

I actually completely 100% agree with them.

Here's the not-so secret secret part.

No matter what you choose to do or no matter path you choose to follow or to create.

No matter how amazing your dream job or dream trip is or will b

There will always something or many things that you don't want to do but you still

have to do it.

This is a lesson my dad taught me many years ago but continues to remind me of it - especially

on the days when I might be complaining just a little too much.

There is simply just so much truth to it.

You can absolutely do what you want but no matter what it is that you want, there is

still going to be things that you have to do and you just need to learn to accept that

now cause otherwise by the time you get there or even on your way there - you're going

to not be enjoying it and you're not going to know why.

Perhaps you are an aspiring YouTuber.

Like me.

And you are envisioning this life filled with crazy adventures and just fun times all the

time.

You are probably picturing your future life as a highlight reel.

But in order to get to that point, in order to really enjoy that point, you need to accept

all the moments that happen between those highlights.

There are lull moments.

There are lonely moments.

There is a lot of tedious tasks that you have to do that you definitely will not want to

do.

Just take a deep breath and do it because you know if you do do it, then you can do

what you want.

Cause it all adds up.

The thing is if you have are truly chasing your dream and doing what you want - you are

probably working harder and longer than the Joe with the 9 to 5.

Not that Joe isn't working hard, but you are just working that much harder.

Now yes, someday you may get to the point where you can sit back and relax.

You have the luxury to slow down.

You will reach that point where you are now working smarter instead of harder.

But still, even then, there's going to be things that you're not going to love.

You can't be on a high 100% of the time.

It's not natural and it's definitely not realistic.

Have I rambled on long enough to make my point?

Awesome.

Well, I hope you all have a fantastic day!

If you can, I'd love it if you could hit that subscribe button and of course, hit the

like button.

And let me know in the comments below what you do to focus on the have-tos so you can

get to the want-tos.

What do I want to do?

I want to travel all of that.

And eat.

Now eat.

That's something I can do right now so I'm going to go do that.

Why did the bicycle slow down?

Cause he was two-tired.

Auto-Tuning: What Automatic Plan Correction Does and How to Enable It - Duration: 6:15.

-: Welcome to Automatic Plan Correction with Query Store.

This is a live webcast.

My name is Kendra Little and I am the founder

and creator of SQLWorkbooks.com.

Today, we will be looking at one part of

the new Automatic Tuning features in SQL Server.

We will be looking at a feature

called Automatic Plan Correction, which uses Query Store

in your SQL Server 2017 database or higher to look for

cases where a query has slowed down significantly.

It can notice that, hey, when you run with this plan

you're faster. We had a regression, so I'm going to

automatically tune you and give you the fast plan,

then I'm going to validate and make sure it really is faster.

It's got some intelligence there about trying out

this faster plan, and it is designed as a safety net

so that you can make sure that your queries

don't slow down forever.

It's not going to prevent your queries

from ever getting slow, because it has to

notice that they got slow, but it can then jump in and say

"Hey, maybe I can speed you up."

There's another part of Automatic Tuning

that we won't see today that's called

automatic index management: it's

currently available in Azure SQL Database.

Maybe it will show up somewhere along the roadmap in

the version of SQL Server that we install ourselves, later.

That's for another day, because we can spend

the whole day today talking about Automatic Plan Correction.

Our mission today in exploring this is:

okay how do we turn it on, what does it do,

and, if you're interested in this,

what is a starter plan for using it?

And I'm actually really excited about this

and if you have Enterprise Edition I think you should

at least be looking at the recommendations for this,

if you're on 2017 or higher. Potentially this could

even take part in, if you're making a proposal

to upgrade SQL Server to get the money for that,

potentially this could be one of the

selling points for your upgrade as well.

I think it's a really interesting feature.

Some folks are frightened of this because it sounds like

maybe we won't need DBAs anymore.

I think, really, it's exciting

rather than threatening and I'll show you why.

So first up, how do I turn it on?

It is not complicated to turn it on at all.

The first thing you need to know, though,

is that you do have to have the Query Store feature enabled.

The plan correction relies on Query Store collecting

the plans and aggregate information about performance

about, okay, how much average CPU time is that plan using?

So we have to have Query Store

all set up first and collecting data.

Then, we enable Automatic Tuning.

Now here is the bad news.

Automatic Tuning is Enterprise Edition only.

Query Store itself is not only in Enterprise Edition.

You can use Query Store widely-- and I am going to show you,

okay if I don't have Enterprise Edition

and I don't have Automatic Tuning,

what can I do with Query Store where I can at least

see the types of things it's making suggestions about?

I'll give you kind of a work-around,

the manual version, if you don't have Enterprise Edition.

The other thing about Automatic Tuning

is you enable for the entire database.

You can't turn this on for just a given schema.

You can't say, "I want to tune

everything except that procedure."

It's all the queries that run in a database,

whether the queries are in stored procedures or not.

Now we've got a question here from Allen.

Allen says, "Is this only available in Enterprise Edition?"

Yes, in fact, only Enterprise Edition and I did also

do a check that, okay, can I see the suggestions

if I'm not in Enterprise Edition?

In fact I can't even see suggestions in the DMV

if I'm not in Enterprise Edition.

Here is the command that we use to turn this on.

Right now in SQL Server 2017

we can say set AUTOMATIC_TUNING FORCE_LAST_GOOD_PLAN ON.

That is the Automatic Plan Correction feature.

That doesn't automatically tune my indexes.

This will look for regressions in my query plans

and try to see if the last good one,

the last fast one, really is faster when I keep running it.

If you try to run this command in Standard Edition,

it gives you a nice little message that says:

please insert more dollars if you want to

turn on the Automatic Tuning feature.

Wah wah wah.

Sorry about that, but like I said, I will show you

if you are in Standard Edition, how can I see

the types of queries that this would tune in my Query Store?

We've got a way to do that.

Let's now do the fun part and dig in and start

looking at Automatic Plan Correction.

You've got these scripts available for download.

What I wanted to do was create a set of scripts

where, just using Management Studio,

you could restore a small database,

this uses the BabbyNames Database

that you can download for free,

and then, run a workload against that database

that gets a procedure that is auto-tuned.

So I've configured Query Store,

I've enabled that forced last good plan,

and then I've already run this workload

which runs a query that is

sometimes fast and is sometimes slow.

Scouting Jorginho: What would Napoli midfielder bring to Liverpool? - Duration: 5:41.

Scouting Jorginho: What would Napoli midfielder bring to Liverpool?

Napoli midfielder Jorginho is Liverpools first-choice target as they look to bolster Jurgen Klopps ranks next season. So what would he offer?.

Jorginho is reported to be Klopps leading candidate as he bids to sign a new No. 6 in the summer transfer window.

With Emre Can likely to depart on the expiry of his contract in July, and Jordan Hendersons fitness a prolonged concern despite repeated claims of his importance, this would be a wise move.

The 26-year-old Italy international, born in Brazil, is expected to be pursued by a host of Europes top clubs, with Liverpool facing a major challenge if they do firm up their interest.

But just why would Jorginho be worth the effort for the Reds?.

Liverpool have been linked with the midfielder in the past during his time at previous Italian club, Hellas Verona, when he was still a bona fide Brazilian.

Since then he's made his debut for his adopted nation, and moved to one of the most exciting teams in Europe assembled by the not entirely un-Klopp-like Maurizio Sarri.

The style of football Napoli play will be of interest to Liverpool's recruitment team, as many of the players there would be able to slot into Klopp's system without much extra instruction.

It was no surprise to see the club also linked with one of Jorginho's team-mates, Piotr Zielinski, who's another player Liverpool were looking at prior to his move to Naples.

They use a similar 4-3-3, press intensely, look to work the ball in tight spaces once they win it back and use a combination of pace and technical ability in forward areas to terrorise opposition defences.

They even have an attacking midfielder/winger who has moved to the centre-forward role in the shape of Dries Mertens, just as Liverpool have Roberto Firmino who has made a similar transition.

Sarri taught me football, Mertens told Corriere dello Sport in November.

The thing I love the most about his style of football is the way he organises the phases when we are off the ball and structures the pressure we put on opponents when theyve got the ball at their feet.

Jorginho fits perfectly at the base of the midfield in this system, using his passing ability, game intelligence, physical attributes and technique to help work the ball forward but also win it back. Perfect Fit For Klopp.

Napoli play in compact spaces with a high line, which helps the defensive midfielder make interceptions in the centre of the park—even if they are, like Jorginho, not an out-and-out defensive player.

What Napoli have but Liverpool don't is a similar but more defensive player in reserve, namely Amadou Diawara, who can be called upon when required.

Maybe this playmaker/protector role is what Liverpool hope someone in Jorginhos mould will help them with, as he's positionally more disciplined and tactically more savvy than any of Klopp's current holding-midfield options. But they might still need that Diawara type too.

As touched upon there, the 26-year-old is good at working the ball forward to other players who can make things happen.

Forward passing is key to Napoli's system, as it should be to any system, and Jorginho is the man to provide the assist before the assist.

In their recent 4-1 win against Lazio he was instrumental in the fourth goal, playing the ball neatly with Lorenzo Insigne to take multiple players out of the game, before charging forward and dinking it to Zielinski after drawing the centre-back out:.

The Pole breezed through before waiting and feeding Mertens, who scored by getting a small but vital touch on the pass. Jorginho wears the No. 8 shirt on his back which reflects the role he often played earlier in his career.

But he has been converted full-time to the deepest-lying midfielder under Sarri.

This means he's not an out-and-out defensive midfielder and his natural central-midfield tendencies can occasionally catch him out, but it also means he has the valuable ability of being able to create from deep areas.

He could easily play the role currently occupied by the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, and is a potential partner for Naby Keita as well as offering an option further back.

A stat which stands out is his xGBuildup per 90 minutes, which is 0. 57—the highest in Serie A for players whove played more than 500 minutes (Diawaras is 0. 76 from 432 minutes!).

This metric illustrates how influential the player is when it comes to starting attacks which eventually lead to goals. He boasts a pass accuracy of 89 percent in the league this season, and averages 104. 3 passes per 90 minutes.

Jorginho is without doubt his teams controller and on-the-ball attack instigator.

A players mentality is always the most difficult thing to judge, but recent comments reveal a grounded individual who is in tune with the people of Naples, and would also fit in at Liverpool, an area which has many similarities to the Italian city:.

I was born in Imbituba, a small but fantastic town on the sea in Brazil.

In winter, there was no hot water to have a shower and it wasn't easy to eat the same thing for three days in a row, but I wanted to go beyond that.

I arrived in Italy when I was 15 years old, alone and without my family. It was very difficult for me, but I wanted this life in football too much.

It was tough for my family too, but it was also their dream. The first time my mother came to Italy, all she did was cry! When she stepped into the stadium, she couldn't contain herself.

She saw her baby had achieved this dream.

I am also happy that I am able to help out my family now, as I always think of the difficulties I had and try to go to local places so I don't forget the real values of life, which are not money..

The players agent Joao Santos recently told Radio Crc that his client feels Neapolitan. This is something which happens to many players who experience life in this unique part of Italy.

And it is for this reason that Jorginho will take some prising from his current club, but Klopps project would be the perfect move for him, and his attitude in Naples is what will have attracted Liverpool to him in the first place.

If a player like [Lucas] Torreira arrives from Sampdoria, then that will require an important investment and Jorginho could be sacrificed to make way, added Santos, pouring more fuel on the already burning transfer rumours.

If Napoli do sign Torreira, then the fact they also have one of the most promising young prospects in the position in the shape of Diawara could persuade them to sell Jorginho.

And it appears that Liverpool will, and should, be at the front of the long queue for his signature.

Human Needs Psychology - What Need Did The Narcissist Meet For You? - Duration: 5:00.

hi everybody all humans have there are six needs that we have and what makes us

different is the priorities that we the different priorities we place on these

six needs many different ways you can't get these needs met you can meet them

all in very impacting empowering ways neutral ways or disempowering ways meet

them in most people most people will meet their needs in immediate ways but

they're not sustainable so for instance the first human need is for certainty

this is the need that we have that we know that we're gonna be we're gonna be

safe for needs these first four needs our needs that we will all find a way of

meeting all of us will no matter what we do we will all find a way to meet them

the last two are spiritual needs and a very few of us meet them on a regular

basis but the ones of us who do have truly fulfilling lives so so okay so the

certainty what would life be like if you were always certain if you could always

count on everything if you always knew what was going to happen before it

happened it's for uncertainty and uncertainty means being a variety we

need excitement we need surprise and if people are gonna differ on how much they

need each one the level to which you need certainty versus uncertainty it's

gonna be individual in into your own personality probably based a lot on your

own experiences and third human need of significance the fourth human need is

love and connection most people settle for connection carrying it over love

because they've been even hurt they don't trust love

been rejected and so they they don't go all in looking for love anymore there

they don't trust it so they settle for connection so and

then okay so so like I said everyone is going to some some way I'm gonna get go

about meeting these four needs everyone does and these are the needs that we

really need to meet in order to have a fulfilling life a real strong sense of

meaning in our life and so number five is growth and and this is I think really

important I used to be a much more of a perfectionist than I am anymore

and that's because I you know I basically have discovered growth is all

about progress progress equals happiness you know write that down

progress equals happiness it doesn't have to be perfection it doesn't have to

be it doesn't have to even be accomplishment if you have a goal and

you accomplish it and you don't immediately set a new goal that that

about accomplishing that goal is not gonna sustain you very long you're gonna

get complacent and uh maybe satisfy a very long it's hanging the

accomplishment that makes this makes it satisfied or makes it feel contented it

is becoming the person that we become in order to meet the goal that's what we

need that's the constant progress that gives us a general sense of well-being

and a sense of purpose in the world and then of course number six is the need

for contribution that's the need to give to something bigger than yourself

something beyond yourself this can be a family this can be the community this

can be God this can be a purpose you know it can be all kinds of different

things but it's something that beyond just your own achievement in your

own accomplishment it the growth has become really really important to me and

and then my contribution has moved beyond my family and it's become a

bigger outside of my family contribution that I wanted to make

Monica Lewinsky Comes Forward, Ruins What's Left of Bill And Hillary Clinton's Reputation - Duration: 12:58.

Monica Lewinsky Comes Forward, Ruins What's Left of Bill And Hillary Clinton's Reputation

Monica Lewinsky is back and Bill and Hillary are hanging their heads in shame.

or would be if they had the capacity for shame, for empathy, for remorse.

But, and they are not alone in this among very successful people, have not the capacity.

She just gave a wide-ranging interview with Vanity Fair and the left is once again in

between a rock and a hard place.

If they accept Monica's story as legitimate what pray tell do they do with serial sexual

abuser Bill Clinton and the wife who absolutely enabled him?

Monica writes:

I'm so sorry you were so alone."

Those seven words undid me.

They were written in a recent private exchange I had with one of the brave women leading

the #MeToo movement.

Somehow, coming from her—a recognition of sorts on a deep, soulful level—they landed

in a way that cracked me open and brought me to tears.

Yes, I had received many letters of support in 1998.

And, yes (thank God!), I had my family and friends to support me.

But by and large I had been alone.

So.

Very.

Alone.

Publicly Alone—abandoned most of all by the key figure in the crisis, who actually

knew me well and intimately.

That I had made mistakes, on that we can all agree.

But swimming in that sea of Aloneness was terrifying.

Monica goes on to explain how the incident and her crucifixion in the liberal media for

taking down their hero did real damage to every single part of her being.

But she saves the best, or in this case the worst for Bill and Hillary:

But it's also complicated.

Very, very complicated.

The dictionary definition of "consent"?

"To give permission for something to happen."

And yet what did the "something" mean in this instance, given the power dynamics,

his position, and my age?

Was the "something" just about crossing a line of sexual (and later emotional) intimacy?

(An intimacy I wanted—with a 22-year-old's limited understanding of the consequences.)

He was my boss.

He was the most powerful man on the planet.

He was 27 years my senior, with enough life experience to know better.

He was, at the time, at the pinnacle of his career, while I was in my first job out of

college.

(Note to the trolls, both Democratic and Republican: none of the above excuses me for my responsibility

for what happened.

I meet Regret every day.)

Correct.

Bill abused his power in ways that demanded his impeachment.

Scroll down to the comments and tell us what

you think.

You're Getting What You're Creating...with Elizabeth Peru - Duration: 1:55.

Hello, I'm Elizabeth Peru and this is the week of March 2 to 8, 2018 in your

Tip-Off Global Energy Forecast - life is like being in a room of mirrors. What

you see around you, what you experience around you, is what you're creating from

within you. Perhaps you know that intellectually, but this week it's more

paramount than usual to focus on it. We've just come through Eclipse season

physically, emotionally, spiritually mentally. You've changed,

Earth's changed, the cosmos has shifted all of us and it's more important than

ever that we 'refocus' ourselves, that we focus on what's within us because that

IS going to be what you experience outside of yourself. And I know many of

you are reporting on a bit of chaos going on outside of you. Well, it all

comes from within you. You've been stirred up, now it's time to rebalance.

And in this week's forecast 'every day' I'm going to show you how. Let's work

together this week, over the next seven days, day by day because the energy is

quite specific. Work with it, work with the cycles to advance your life and get

back on track. I look forward to sharing it with you. Have a beautiful week, you can

do this and thank you...

What "radical dharma" means to Rev. angel Kyodo williams - Duration: 5:41.

Hi, this is Melvin McLeod, the editor-in-chief of Lion's Roar magazine.

We're joined by my friend, Reverend angel Kyodo williams, a Zen teacher and

activist who is profiled in the December/January issue of Lion's Roar. Reverend angel,

thanks for joining us --Thank you for having me

you're the co-author of a book called "Radical Dharma" what do you understand

"radical dharma" to be? --The root of radical is "radix" and that means a whole or

complete and Dharma of course has many different inflections, I would say,

rather than interpretations, and one of those is amongst others is truth. Of

course we often as Buddhists think of dharma as the teachings of the Buddha and

that's when its capital "D" dharma, but it also has meanings such as one's calling,

one's path, and also universal truth, which is why it was ascribed to the

Buddha's teachings. And so I think of radical dharma as the whole truth and

what it means to enliven and inform one's practice with the whole truth — both

one's practice formally in Buddhism, but also one's practice of justice in

the world. --So you've said, which we publish, that you're not actually

dedicated to promoting Buddhism per se, but that when you go out into the world,

and I think particularly out into the black community, the larger black

community, which may or may not be familiar with an unusual Asian religion

called Buddhism, that you're actually interested much more in promoting

certain values rather than Buddhism per se. So what is it that you go out, even

though you may be identified as a Buddhist teacher, what is it that you're

dedicated to presenting if not Buddhism itself? --I think that I'm dedicating what

the, I'm dedicated to promoting what the Buddha was dedicated to promoting, which

is liberation. And that really, I'm talking about really core

understanding of human dynamics — the dynamics of our mind, the dynamics of our

behavior, the dynamics of how we relate to one another — and somewhere along the

line that then got popularized by this fellow known as the Buddha and when it

met with the West and we started to call it Buddhism. So I'm not doing anything

particularly different in that sense of going into an experience of

understanding and developing more skill, more awareness of understanding how it

is we unfold as human beings on this planet, and how it is that we relate, and

ultimately how it is that we find ourselves caught up in a kind of cycle

of suffering. And often I say that the Buddha said he taught one thing and one

thing only, which is suffering, and I think the way that I reframe it and

think about it in modern times as "I teach one thing and one thing only which

is liberation," the end to suffering. --So I have a challenge for you

I believe you said that you had come to a way that effectively you could

encapsulate some of the key insights of Buddhism to be able to present them to a

broader audience that may have no background, or even interest in the

religion of Buddhism. So can you give us the 30-second elevator speech about what

you would say to them about what those key insights are that you think will

help them in their lives and help their community? --Yeah I think the key

insight is we come to realize that we are, we suffer, that we experience our

lives as running into difficulty, challenge, a sense of dis-ease, both on a

small individual level, the day-to-day things that we run into, the way that

life doesn't work out the way we hope to, or the way that we plan, even when we try

to plan, And also the very big and significant

ways, you know, we say, you know, "old age, sickness, and death," but also divorce, and

moving, and political upheaval, and you know really being at odds in terms of

how to figure out how we manage the onslaught of incoming things. So we as

human beings find ourselves in the position, over and over again, of

suffering and experiencing a kind of discontent with our lives and that there

is in fact a path, a way, in which to begin to examine how it is that we make

contributions to that suffering and how we can mitigate that and also how we can

simultaneously find ease with the things that we're not able to actually control

and that itself brings about a sense of ease for us. And I just ask

people "So is anyone interested in that?" All the hands go up, and it doesn't

matter what religion people are — we want to be, ultimately, we want to be

liberated, we want to be in relationship, we want to love and be loved.
