today we're gonna go over five things that successful people do that

unsuccessful people do not do and we're just going to jump right into them so

you can implement them in your own life so first and foremost they are learning

inclined successful people don't assume they know everything they're constantly

trying to improve their craft as Confucius said real knowledge is to know

the extent of one's ignorance therefore when you realize just how much you

haven't mastered in a given subject it really frees you to go out and protect

and perfect your craft also to paraphrase Michelangelo if people knew

how hard I worked to achieve my mastery they wouldn't think it was so amazing

so with that being said I suggest that you read books take courses you know

watch informative YouTube videos like this or really informative videos across

the board wherever the platform like the one you're watching right now and never

assume that there isn't a level above where you are right now no matter how

high on that totem pole you might feel and as always if you're looking for

books that I recommend they're always linked in the description which will

take you to my website too my recommended books tab number two

successful people don't make excuses at the end of the day and excuses really

just a well-planned lie isn't it there's always going to be a reason not to do

something imperfect action is better than no action at all and successful

people know that making mistakes are part of the path to success

therefore they understand that action is necessary to improve number three

successful people understand that success is a marathon and not a sprint

just like this YouTube game success success does not happen overnight you

attract success by the person that you become becoming a person of high value

takes a lot of time and a lot of repetition and only after you put in

that time to become success minded will you be able to attract success and

realize potential opportunities around you that other people that haven't set

the time to do that are not seeing it's a successful people take action towards

their goals every single day no matter how big or small that action might be

number four successful people set clear goals without goals you're just floating

around with no purpose successful people understand the value of setting goals

and chasing six setting goals is like setting the

coordinates of your plane so to speak you know if you have a destination you

might not be exactly 100% sure how you're gonna get there or the different

birds or potential wind patterns you might encounter along the way but you

know you'll get there eventually if you don't have any specific goals you can be

on Air Force One or the best plane in the world but you still may never ever

reach a desirable destination because you weren't clearing your intentions

number five successful people take care of their bodies a strong body typically

means a strong mind the two are usually synonymous both working out and eating

healthy are vital for overall health but not only that will you see the added

benefits on top of that of more vitality energy and happiness and to be honest

nobody wants to be the rich guy in the graveyard you can make a billion dollars

you can make a hundred billion dollars but if you don't have any life left to

enjoy at the end what was it really all for have you ever asked yourself that so

there you have it guys five things short and sweet that successful people do that

unsuccessful people don't what do you think about these you know are you

practicing these five things or maybe there's one or two that you need to work

on implementing in your own life let me know down in the comment section below

Why do my videos get NO VIEWS? - Duration: 14:32.

your YouTube videos are phenomenal but they're not getting any views stick

around guys I'm gonna help you figure this out

welcome back ladies and gentlemen I am dan from www.Millennialmotivator.ca

helping you learn how to create engage and inspire today on the channel we are

taking a look at how to get more views onto your great content here on YouTube

now guys a lot of this is gonna be stuff that you can apply not just to YouTube

but to your other social media networks as well whether that's Instagram

Facebook Twitter you name it these practices are gonna be best practices

that you can apply it across all of your social channels so if you're new to the

channel go ahead and click that subscribe button down there in the

little belt you get a notification when I go live next I put up videos Monday

through Saturday helping you learn how to grow your business online and engage

with your customers in a new meaningful way let's get down to this though guys

hopefully we can give you guys some tips that will get your videos pumping new

views into your channel let's go alright guys first and foremost what you need to

understand is the mindset of a YouTube viewer most of us our YouTube viewers

that's a reality at this point I don't know anybody that has the internet that

hasn't at some point during their day clicked on to a YouTube video and watch

even if it's just a simple 30 second video they pop in they leave that's it

no problem but you have to understand the mentality as a viewer before you can

understand the mentality you need to have as a creator and what I mean by

that is this take a moment and look at your watching patterns okay look at what

you watch on YouTube now when you're trying to decide what you want to watch

where's the first place you go chances are you're probably gonna go to somebody

that you watch regularly I know for me there's probably about a dozen channels

that when new content pops up BAM I'm there so Derral Eve's Tim Schmoyer

Roberto Blake Peter McKinnon Casey nice add Sara Nietzsche I mean the list is

there I know that when new content comes up from them I will be there I will be

watching it I will be commenting on it Tom bill use another great one all of

these great names guys on YouTube are people that have built a community and

people like to tune in and watch so understand that there are loyal

followings that watch certain youtubers loyally it's going to be very difficult

for you to pull that kind of traffic into okay the next one is people that

just show up on YouTube to watch something entertaining so you need to

know whether or not your video is appealing to that audience is your video

a prank video or a joke video or a best-of video or a goofer blooper reel

video that kind of content is entertainment value purely it's not

instructional there's no how-to there's no knowledge that's gained by it it's

simply sit back veg out and watch entertain if that is your content then

guys you really have to take the time and study okay and this is true for all

the channels but I'm encouraging you to study the channels that are best known

in that nation style of channel and see what it is that they're doing what types

of videos are they using what types of mentality do they have when they're

creating their thumbnails their titles how long is their content

these are all simple things that you can do to gain knowledge from other

youtubers that are already out there and successful now if you're more like this

channel and you do a how-to or an instructional you teach people and it

could be anything from music to business to websites to YouTube itself

photography there's all kinds of different different great educational

channels in that case it's the same thing you need to take a look at what

people are watching so the successful youtubers out there that do that how to

style but also on top of that what you want to do is have an understanding of

what people are struggling with in trying to understand so you can create

the best lessons possible here on YouTube alright so what is the first

lesson that you need to take away if you want more views

understand what the viewer is looking for okay and that does take a little bit

of time it does take a little bit of effort but if you invest in

understanding what your niche is looking for on YouTube you can better create

content to suit their needs and you'll see a greater success for it so step one

be the viewer understand what the viewer wants from your channel and then create

that content okay guys so we address being the viewer knowing what people

want to see the next step is making sure it's optimized okay and what does that

mean optimized basic rules of thumb for creating a great optimized YouTube video

are this it has a proper description that details what the episode is about

why it's relevant to the viewer and what they're gonna learn from it or what

they're gonna take away from it if it's not a learning video that's fine

the description should still outline what's going on and why the viewer

should care your title should be clearly descriptive it should have the keywords

that you're targeting for sure for videos so let's say you're a comedy

channel you're doing something that's funny kids that make me laugh right

perfect kids that make me laugh needs to be somewhere in the title top ten kids

that make me laugh top three kids that make me laugh different ways that kids

make me laugh include what your video concept is in the title and make sure

that that's their umbrella this is where a major tool is gonna come in for you

guys if you're not using to buddy already I'll put a link down in the

comments below you definitely need to be using to buddy for your channels if

you're creating videos if you're creating content it does a phenomenal

job helping you fine-tune your titles to make sure that they are appropriate that

they will get the relevant search results that you want and that's gonna

help you build your views on top of that guys you've got a solid description with

great keyword data you're not flooding keyword data you're actually

legitimately telling people what your video is about in your keywords in your

description in your title okay that's part of the optimization the next step

is having a thumbnail that's relevant none of us likes being click baited

nobody who tunes into a YouTube video goes oh great I'm gonna click this video

of whatever the super rich looking racecar in a mansion and then you end up

getting a guy like me in this office right that's not what people want they

want legitimacy if you're just a small youtuber be a small youtuber if you're a

huge youtuber great good on you you look at Will Smith's thumbnails and you look

at my thumbnails there are two different things I'm not living the high life I'm

living a regular life so I make sure my thumbnails are relevant to that I also

make sure that my thumbnails clearly communicate with an image exactly what

I'm trying to do with the titles and the description and the keywords all of it

needs to be one package that clearly and concisely communicates to the viewer

this is what the video is about the more effectively you make all of those pieces

come together thumbnail title keywords and description the more effective

Google's algorithm will be in displaying it into relevant search results if you

put all of those piece together properly I guarantee you it takes a little bit

more time but you're gonna see more views come in the long term it may not

be an immediate spike that you see from that but down the road you're gonna see

a lot better retention because the people that want to see your videos are

going to stay longer they're gonna click on your content it's gonna be relevant

they'll stay longer and watch it which in turn will boost you on the search

rankings for those terms and you'll get more views which is the name of the game

okay what's the last thing that we can be

doing with our YouTube channels to ensure that we get more views all right

guys the last thing is this distribute distribute distribute distribute the

first 24 to 48 hours is the most important time to get the views get the

ranking that you want for your YouTube content if you're putting videos up and

lollygagging about sharing that out to people whether it's your emails for

those of you that have an email list great way to share your content of

making sure it's on your website somewhere that you've got an update if

you haven't seen my website it's down there malign millennial motivator dot CA

go click on it there's a whole section dedicated to my YouTube content it's a

great way to piggy back on your website content into your YouTube channel it's a

vital way to do that so email marketing your website if you've got it your

social media network so that means if you look down somewhere over here

there's a share on your YouTube stuff it's got a bunch of networks in it

Pinterest Tumblr LinkedIn Facebook Twitter Google+ a couple of Russian

networks are in there the reality is this guys you want to share to as many

of those networks as you possibly can the more places you've got your content

out there the better off you will be so in the first 24-48 hours make sure you

are distributing your content absolutely everywhere everywhere the more places

you've got your video posted the more likely and make sure it's relevant guys

just like your thumbnail strategy and all that make sure that it's relevant

okay make sure that people that see your content are out there picking up the

content where they consume it right if somebody is if you are a cosmetics

makeup channel and you're posting into Twitter business or LinkedIn business

you're not reaching the right people and you're not reaching the people you want

to and that's not to say that certain

networks are exclusive for people you could go on the LinkedIn and join groups

on LinkedIn for Avon people doing your cosmetics reviews and that's still going

to get you views you just have to make sure that your video is getting in front

of the people that would want to consume that content so crucial so vital make

sure that you're sharing as much as possible

friends family who cares everybody that you can the community itself make sure

you're encouraging people like I do at the start of every video to click the

bell that way when you upload a new video they get a notification on their

YouTube that says hey there's a new video come watch it it's awesome do this

make it happen alright guys last it's a tip but it's a warning more than it's a

tip okay and it's so crucial that you grasp this concept do not buy views

don't do it resist the urge if you go back through this channel and you

watched my original videos they're not phenomenal they're not great I posted

them up there I think some of them have 20 views maybe but as you building grow

as you continue consistently creating content sharing it up building a

community you will see if you stay committed to your channel the views

increase just that consistency will be there oftentimes people get sucked down

into the metrics they go oh I've got to get the subs I got to get views I gotta

get don't worry about the numbers guys if you focus on just how do I get more

views and I know this video is about how to do that I want to equip you to do

that because in the long term it will build success for you here on YouTube

but if you try to jump the gun if you try to buy views onto your videos it's

going to cripple your channel in the long run it's not gonna be what you want

to see what you want to see guys is you want to see quality views that are

giving you great watch time great retention and I promise you that it

doesn't matter what website you go to out there if you go to a website that's

promising you ohh I will give you views it'll be awesome

there'll be real people that engage and give you comments and there's dialog and

I can tell almost right away when a channel is buying their views because

the channel has no comments there's no engagement no likes no shares all it is

is a big view number it it popped up great they've got ten

thousand fifty thousand a hundred thousand views on their video there's

nobody talking there's no engagement there's no shares there's no likes know

dislikes it's very clear when you're doing that and the downside to this is

if that's how you're getting your views that's the only way you're ever going to

be getting your views people will realize that there's no engagement no

community and they'll move on to somewhere where there is so make sure

guys whatever you do you don't fall for that trap there's no website at there it

doesn't matter what they're promising you they're lying to you you cannot get

real legitimate views off of a website and buy them you can't do it stay

authentic it's better to have 20 real views than 10,000 fake views okay guys

it's gonna help you in the long run and if you stay consistent and just focus on

doing these best practices that I've given you what you're gonna find is you

will see those views continuously start to grow and build alright especially on

the back end so if I look back at some of my older videos they still get a

viewer to add a imagine if you've got a thousand videos uploaded to YouTube and

they're getting a viewer to a day but the retention is 10 minutes that's

phenomenal ten times a thousand that's ten thousand minutes a day guys who

wouldn't love that for their YouTube channel it's a great way to go and all

of that retained watch time will be rewarded by the YouTube algorithm you'll

get more views coming through search coming through the YouTube features

because you're a legitimate channel doing legitimate thing that is it for

today the ladies and gentlemen I hope that helps you guys grow some views on

your channel if you guys have any questions feel free to put them in the

comments down below their question of the day is

which of these do you think will help you the most in creating new views to

your channel now guys if you're gonna continue to have problems with your

FULLTANK by Bo Sanchez 385: What is your big WHY? 14 Mar 2018 - Duration: 5:22.

What is your WHY? What wakes you up in

the morning? That's a big question, I know.

But I hope you can answer this, because

it is so important. You know, when I

was a kid, when I was seven-years-old,

I remember that I would take Reader's

Digest, you know. That's a really

long time magazine, and I would

tear off a page. On top of that page, it

says, "Laughter is the best medicine."

It has section there.

You know, in every issue. And they're all

jokes, and what I would do is, I would

staple all those pages, and I would

memorize them. And then, I'll go in front

of my family and my friends and I say.

"Can you listen to my joke?"

"Can I tell a joke?"

Sometimes, they laugh. Sometimes,

they won't laugh, but I would just keep

on doing it. And then, the following

summer, I was eight years old, I started

learning magic. You know, magical tricks.

You know, the handkerchief, and with a

hat, and with cards. And I would perform

in front of my family, and my friends, and

I say, "Can I perform some

magic for you?" So there, it was this

little kid, wanting to make people smile.

Wanting to make people, laugh. And wanting

to Wow people, like to astonish people.

You know what? Here's what I've learned.

All through the years, as I was growing

up, I think that was my "Why" you know.

To make people happy, to give people joy, and

to give their lives some magic. Of course,

along the way I realized, that the

greatest joy, and the greatest magic is

God himself, and God's love. And you know,

when I write a book, I want people to

experience God's love so much; that it

will change their lives. When I preach

on stage, that's what I want to do; to

bless people's lives, and to give their

life real joy, and real wonder, and beauty

and magic.

When I build an organization for the

poorest of the poor,

whatever ministry, I want to bless their

lives so much, that they will start

experiencing, (the poor people) will

start experiencing God's profound love

for them. My dear friend, by the way,

my name is Bo Sanchez. And welcome to Fulltank,

your place of inspiration. I pray

that you will be blessed, as I read the

Gospel for the day. Our gospel is John 5:17;

"And Jesus says this

amazing words. He said, 'My father is at

work, until now. And so am I, at work.'"

He connected His work with the Father's

work, and that was why he continues to work.

My dear friend, can you say that?

Can you say, "Whatever you're doing as a

mother, raising your kids, cleaning the

house, as a clerk, or a cashier, or a

Salesman, or an engineer, or a doctor, or a

farmer, or a fisherman, whatever you're

doing. you know. A call center agent,

a nurse, whatever you're doing, can you

say that, "Your work is connected to the

Father's work." You can say that, if the

purpose of why you do what you do is

beyond money. It's not just because of

the salary, no! You're working, because you

want to bless people. You want to give

life to people. You want to give joy to

people. You want to give God's love to

people. Customers, office workers

co-office mates, you know. People around you.

If you wake up in the morning with this

big mission, with this big why, you will

have joy. You will not be only living for

yourself. It will not be a selfish

project. It'll be a life of love. And I'm

gonna be praying for you right now, that

every day you're gonna wake up with fire

in your belly. This is something bigger

than yourself.

Father in Heaven, I pray for every person

watching this video. In the Mighty name

of Jesus, receive the love of God to the

overflowing, so that your heart will

overflow wherever you go, wherever you

you find yourself in. People will

experience God's love

through you. This is my prayer. I also

pray for all your needs, that God's

abundance be your provision, and that God

will be your miracle worker. In Jesus'

name. Amen and amen. In the name of the

Father, and of the Son, and of the

Holy Spirit. Amen.

Hey, I'd like to invite you. Join me in a

Holy Week retreat, in MOA Arena. And Holy

Thursday morning, Good Friday morning, and

Easter Sunday morning. Three days, join me.

And the website will be there.

You can just, you know. Grab some

tickets, and invite your friends over.

It's gonna be an amazing time, and the

presence of God. If you're looking for

for blessing and grace, come and join me.

Holy Week retreat 2018. Hope to see you there.

God bless you. I will see you tomorrow.

Why Stephen Curry Keeps INJURING His Ankles In The NBA - Duration: 3:54.

Stephen Curry is an NBA all time great already, but his ankles are like noodles and he recently

injured his ankles again.

But why?

Why does Curry have weak ankles and why does he keep getting injured?

What is up dudes, dudettes, ballers, players.

It's ya boi MJ.

Today I want to talk Why Stephen Curry keeps injuring his ankles.

Let me know in the comments if you think Curry will come back stronger and if the Warriors

can win a championship without Curry.

Alright let's get into it.

Stephen Curry is a 3 point beast.

I mean just look at this.

Look at any highlight tape.

He's also breaking ankles, but he has a history of his own ankles being broken

quite literally and a history of ankle sprains.

Since Curry has been drafted, he has tweaked his ankle about 17 times.

17 TIMES!

I'm actually amazed that Curry can do the things he does on the court with ankles like

that.

During 2012, Curry had surgery on his right ankle for a second time in which it was found

that he had a bunch of scar tissue and inflamed tissue causing problems.

Curry would then have a season ending injury with a right ankle sprain in 2013, but these

cases protect your phone from season ending breaks with dope designs so check out athletic

cases in the description.

They even got Curry splashing with his ankles.

So why does Curry keep injuring his ankle, and more specifically his right ankle when

his ankle has been surgically treated?

Bob Myers has stated that Curry was "turning his ankle in completely nontraditional, crazy

ways."

And he's right.

Curry's ankles were just bending out of nowhere.

I mean how do you explain this.

Taking a look at the way Curry plays, he puts a tremendous amount of force on his ankles

because he is always running around and quickly shifting directions off the ball.

He's had ankle breakers without the ball.

Sorry Kawhi.

Curry is second in the league in distance run per game and that has a lot to do with

the way he is moving off the ball.

That adds a lot of mileage to those ankles.

Then consider the fact that he is a point guard that also creates his shot off the dribble

and those could add problems to his ankle, but why his right ankle?

Well for one, once you sprain an ankle, it's more likely to get injured again simply because

of the ligaments being stretched.

This causes Curry to be more at risk to re-injure his ankle in any way possible and the way

he plays contributes to that.

His first ankle injury came on December 8, 2010 and so it just set up a pathway for more

injuries.

Also, I believe it's something to do with the way Curry shots with his staggered stance

with his right foot forward.

Curry gets his shot up so quickly, but I think he's compensating with his feet and ankles.

His feet can go all over the place and there's no consistent footing so his landings got

his ankles stabilizing him in all kinds of ways, especially is lead right foot.

Curry has worked extremely hard to use his core and hips to move the way he does, but

his ankles became weak due to the first couple of years in the league.

And that set the foundation for Curry to keep injuring his ankles.

But what do you think?

Will Curry come back for the Warriors?

Will he stay healthy?

Let me know in the comments down below.

Drop a like if you liked this video.

Every like is a wish for Curry to be healthy.

Why Do the Planets Orbit in the Same Plane? - Duration: 3:07.

[ ♪ Intro ]

When you see a map of the solar system, it looks like all of the planets are orbiting

the Sun in a flat, two-dimensional plane -- but that's not just to save paper.

While there is a little wiggle room, the planets really are orbiting on mostly the same level.

And we've actually known that since before telescopes existed, just by charting where

the planets and Sun appear in the sky.

But why are their orbits so flat?

Well, it all comes down to how the solar system formed.

Our stellar neighborhood started out as a giant, roughly spherical cloud of gas and

dust particles.

And that cloud had a very tiny amount of spin.

Then, for some reason, it started collapsing.

Astronomers aren't 100% sure what triggered that collapse, but most will say it was probably

a nearby supernova.

Regardless, gravity caused everything in that cloud to pull itself together.

And as the blob got smaller, it started spinning faster.

This is because of a principle called conservation of angular momentum.

Basically, an object's angular momentum describes its tendency to stay rotating.

How much angular momentum that object has depends on two things: how its mass is distributed,

and how fast it's spinning.

If either of those properties changes, the other has to compensate so that the total

angular momentum stays the same, or is conserved.

So as that giant space cloud got smaller, it had to start spinning faster.

And eventually, that spinning generated so much force that it flattened the cloud into

a disk shape.

It's like how spinning a ball of dough gets you a pizza crust.

We don't just know this through math, either.

We can actually observe these disks forming around young stars in our galaxy!

We're literally witnessing solar systems being born!

In our solar system, as time went on, some particles of dust and gas in that disk kept

colliding and sticking to one another, which formed larger and larger space rocks.

Most only got enough mass to make potato-shaped asteroids, but others eventually became Earth

and the other seven planets.

And since they all formed out of the same flat, swirling disk of material, all the planets

in our solar system orbit in the same plane and, as a bonus, in the same direction around the Sun!

Now, there are plenty of smaller objects that have really inclined, or angled, orbits -- like

Pluto, asteroids, and comets.

These all probably started out with flatter orbits, but got kicked into more extreme positions

by Jupiter and Neptune as the planets moved into their current places.

Then again, those planets also just flung a lot of objects out of the solar system entirely.

So, Pluto and its lot could have had it a lot worse.

It might seem weird or even unique, but the fact that our planets orbit on the same plane

is pretty normal, and it happens in lots of other star systems, too.

But, hey, our solar system has a lot of other weird stuff to make up for it.

Like us.

Thanks for asking, and for watching this episode of SciShow!

What kind of chocolate do nutritionists recommend for athletes? - Duration: 1:36.

Do you know what kind of chocolate nutritionist recommend for athletes dark

chocolate surprise surprise you probably already knew that though but why do they

recommend that do you know I'm Matt Zembruski with Juti Organics and your

healthy energy tip of the day today is all about chocolate dark chocolate has

benefits over and above milk chocolate why because it's a higher percentage of

cacao cacao is the actual chocolate so the darker the chocolate the more

Why Does Lyme Disease Do? - Duration: 9:29.

What does Lyme disease do to your body? What are the symptoms? What's happening?

That's what we're going to cover in this video.

Hello, everyone. Dr. Jason West with part of the Lyme series and what this series

is designed to do is to give you information because I have found that

patients that have all of the information in front of them make good

clinical decisions, they have a tendency to meet the right treatment choices, they

can take control of their health and they can get life back. Now does that

always mean that you're going to get cure? It doesn't necessarily mean that but

does it make it so that patients improve? I absolutely believe that, that the more

information and education that you have about Lyme disease, the better you

are equipped to not only have a better quality of life but to make sure that

you're informed and educated consumer so let's recap about Lyme. We've talked

about testing, we've talked about treatments, we've talked about

transmission and now we're going to talk about what does Lyme do? Well the biggest

thing that Lyme does is, it just has a tendency to not make you feel good on

multiple levels and we're going to go through about 13 classic presentations

for people that have chronic infection related to Lyme and just a reminder, Lyme

disease is a lonely condition. What I mean by that is, it's so overwhelming

when someone has initially told that they have Lyme. They go out on the

internet, they find a bunch of good information, they find a bunch of

misinformation, sometimes they take bad information, when it talks about what to

do about Lyme, here's what I tell people.. You know your body better than doctors,

you are not your diagnosis. I believe that there's always hope if you put all

of the building blocks back in pace, I think you have a wonderful opportunity

and wonderful patient outcomes. It's not a death sentence, there's some really

good patient outcomes out on the Internet unfortunately, there's some

really bad and sad stories but I don't believe that your diagnosis and let's

talk about what Lyme does and I just like to review this, Lyme is the fifth

most reported notifiable disease in the United States with an estimated of

300,000 to a million cases per year. I believe it's the fastest growing

infectious disease because we finally know what

looking for, we recognized that it's a problem and it's not just a mythical

condition, it's not psychosomatic. Now it's so important to identify where you

are on the Lyme disease pathway because the faster that you can get treatment in

my experience, the better outcomes that you have quickly. It doesn't mean that

you're going to have no symptoms in the future but the faster that you can get

on this disease, the usually the better outcomes that you can get so let's talk

about what Lyme does. Now one of the most common things that we see in Lyme is

rashes. About 30% of people develop some type of chronic skin problem. The initial

presentation of Lyme is you get bit by a tick and then sometimes people get a

bull's-eye rash although 60% to 70% of people

don't get the rash and they don't remember get bit by a tick but we see a

lot of chronic skin problems, there can be pseudo psoriasis which means it's not

quite psoriasis, you get hives, you get urticaria, you get these little

white bumps on the skin, you can get these little red markers. Sometimes

people come in and they'll say they have Morgellons disease which we're going to

talk about in an upcoming video but there's a lot of skin problems

associated with Lyme disease. Another big factor that we see in Lyme disease is

fatigue and you know usually you see kids running around the office or

running around the playground or school, it seems like they have an endless

supply of energy and kids that have been exposed to Lyme or have a tick bite or

suspect to have Lyme, usually they're very lethargic, they estimate up to 84%

of children have chronic fatigue issues so that doesn't say that people, that

kids that are tired mean that they have Lyme disease,

if your child is lethargic more than normal and you just have to listen to

your parents intuition, we want to make sure that we rule out Lyme disease. Achy

joints are a huge problem with Lyme disease, it's recognized in the medical

literature whether you're treating Lyme all the time or if you're just learning

about Lyme, we recognize that Lyme gets into the joints and I think that

there's a smorgasbord of nutritional things that Lyme disease like and

so that infection goes into the joints and it can be as high as 80% of people

with untreated Lyme have chronic joint problems. I also think that Lyme, it can

be possible that can mimic or trigger rheumatoid arthritis where your body has

this inflammatory condition against the joint issues, it can be a huge factor

in other arthritide which is how we describe multiple joint conditions. The

problem with joint arthritis is sometimes over-the-counter or prescribed

anti-inflammatories can mask and even accelerate the joint damage that's

occurring with Lyme disease. Headaches, dizziness, brain neurologic, brain fog are

all common presentations of Lyme. I think what happens is not only the Lyme can

get into those nervous tissues or nerve tissues but what happens is has a

tendency to deplete the nutritional building blocks that our body needs to

protect the tissue. I think that Lyme can get in and around the nerves,

the body tries to wall off the infection and what happens is, we get these little

capsules that sometimes can be termed as white lesions. That's right. I believe

that in some instances white lesions are actually walled off compartments of Lyme

disease and as the nerve transmission goes and hits those compartments, what

happens is, it short circuits and then you can be diagnosed with multiple

sclerosis. Now this is not the accepted medical reason for white lesions, this is

just what I've seen in practice in my hypothesis. Lyme disease has a tendency

to really disrupt sleep patterns and whether it's the bacteria getting into

the pineal gland and throwing off your melatonin levels or maybe it's a

neurological affecting your neurotransmitters but I see this as one

of the most classic presentation of Lyme disease, it alters your sleep patterns,

it's hard to get to sleep and it's hard to stay asleep. The literature is showing

that about 41% of people to have chronic Lyme disease have disturbed sleep

patterns. Another common presentation of Lyme or

what Lyme does is it causes a lot of brain fog and cognitive decline, a lack

of mental concentration, a lack of mental stamina, being forgetful and of course

there's a lot of things that can cause those conditions but I see that

frequently in people that have chronic Lyme disease. Another classic

presentation of Lyme disease is light sensitivity and when I see people from

out of town that they're from Missouri or Virginia or New York or Wisconsin,

they come into the office and they have sunglasses on it's one of the "aha"

moments and when they start telling me about all their healthcare conditions,

Lyme disease really really changes your photosensitivity

and causes a lot of visual disturbances and a lot

of the times that people are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis with having the

optic neuritis, I often wonder if it's Lyme disease bothering that optic nerve.

Neurologic symptoms are common with chronic Lyme, causes gait disturbances, it

causes balance issues. I've had people walk down the office, we're literally

bouncing off the walls and they need ambulatory assisting devices you know,

they'll need a cane or they'll need a walker because they just can't orient to

the surface because I think the Lyme gets in and disrupts their nerves. Not

quite as common as the other conditions but there's a lot of heart problems

associated with the Lyme, we call it Lyme carditis or inflammation

of the heart and so it's not as high as some of the other conditions, about 4%

to 10% of people that have lyme disease have heart involvement and so if

you have a normal EKG or you have pain in your heart, atrial fibrillation, it may

be triggered by Lyme, it's not as common, it's probably other things associated

with it but if you're having all the symptoms of a tick exposure, rashes,

fatigue, joint problems and then you have some cardiac problems, it may be line

related. Another common presentation of Lyme is how it affects your moods and

your emotions. Now when you don't feel good, it's easier

to be depressed or have hyper irritability or anxiety because when

your body doesn't feel very good, guess what, it bothers your mind, your

moves and emotions. Are you sick? Because you don't feel good or because you don't

feel good. Are you sick? I mean, that sword goes cuts both ways but see a lot of

personality changes in chronic Lyme, see people that used to be fairly

even keel and now little things bother them and can it be other things? Of

course it can and that's why you got to put the whole Lyme disease spectrum into

a puzzle and start putting the pieces together because not everybody that has

anxiety has Lyme but it can certainly be an aggravating factor. Another thing that

I see in Lyme is a regression of social and interaction with people, people that

have Lyme disease have a tendency to be hyper irritable and have some cyclic

mood disorders because the chronic infection really likes to go after the

nerve tissue, now these are just some of the conditions associated with chronic

Lyme. If you have anxiety, if you have joint problems, if you have conditions,

does it mean that you have Lyme? No, it doesn't.

Can Lyme cause conditions? It can and that's why it's so important to

understand that the testing processes we did on an earlier video,

you are not your diagnosis. I believe that there's always hope. If you're

having a myriad of health care conditions, I think it's really important

to rule in or rule out Lyme disease. This is Dr. Jason West. I'll see you on the next video.

Astro QA #9: Why does Titan have an atmosphere but Ganymede and Callisto do not? - Duration: 2:49.

Saturn's moon Titan has a dense nitrogen rich atmosphere.

But Jupiter's moon Ganymede and Callisto don't even though they

are almost of the same size.

Why is it so??

The Saturnian system gets 1/4th as much sunlight that of Jupiter's system, which could play

a factor in the atmospheric loss mechanism.

Being further from the Sun also means that the composition can be a bit different.

More volatiles had a chance to condense at Saturn than at Jupiter.

That could have allowed Titan to have more needed materials.

Secondly, it also depends on their parent planets.

All three moons are a mixture of rocky materials and water ice, and the crystalline structure

of ice is particularly good at trapping atoms of gas.

But the outward characteristics of these moons are rather different, having been determined

by the conditions near each of these planet as it formed.

For example, the newborn Jupiter was so hot that it probably glowed.

This heat drove off all the water within Io and most of it from Europa.

Ganymede and Callisto kept their ice, but they still got hot enough to lose most of

the gas that might otherwise have been trapped in their icy interiors.

Consequently, none of the Galilean moons ended up with a substantial atmosphere.

By contrast, the conditions around Saturn were generally colder.

Titan managed to trap considerable gas-rich ice in its interior.

Over time, heat from infalling objects and from the decay of radioactive elements within

its rocks liberated much of this gas, creating the dense nitrogen-rich atmosphere we see

today.
