I think they're two things to keep in mind.

Number one, once you give something, it is almost impossible to take it away.

So, what makes perfect sense when you're small may not make sense as you get larger, but

changing it is going to be incredibly difficult.

I think whether you're small or not, what you should look at is what kind of benefits

do you need to offer to attract talent throughout the lifecycle.

Certainly maybe not until you get to 1,000 employees, but certainly from maybe zero to

200, figure out what is competitive in that realm and go for offering something like that.

That's number one.

The second thing is to be careful about making it very generous just for employee only because

when you start out you only have employee onlys, and not taking into account family

type coverage.

Before you know it, your population will start to transition and you will need middle managers,

and you don't want to get caught in a situation where your benefits plan is just not competitive

for those who have families and lose people.

Overall, underpinning all of this is you need to make benefits affordable on the one hand,

but you need to make sure that it's competitive on the other.

So finding that balance at any size would be my advice to founders as they look at setting

up their benefits programs.

- What should I do right after a car accident?

Hi, I'm attorney Chris Nicolaysen from Springs Law Group,

and I'm an auto accident attorney.

Today I wanted to talk about what to do,

right after you've been involved in an auto accident.

One of the first things that we recommend doing,

is to move your vehicle or your car,

off to a safe location.

Get it outside of the flow of traffic,

so that all parties involved in the accident,

are away and no one else is gonna get injured,

and that everybody's gonna remain safe,

as the next steps happen.

The next thing that we recommend is that you call 911,

if someone had been injured,

and if there were no injuries to call the local police

so that they can come out and file the proper report,

or make the proper report.

Then next we recommend that you start gathering information.

That information is going to be things like,

names of the drivers and passengers,

the number of drivers and passengers,

license plate information,

insurance information such as policy information,

and items like that.

And then next you want to take

pictures of the vehicles involved,

you want to take pictures of the surroundings,

you want to make sure that you take pictures of the road,

because one of the big questions we always like to ask too,

is what was the weather like the day of the accident itself?

And so it's always good to have a lot of photos

so you can actually see everything that was going on,

see the damage that was done to your vehicle,

the damage done to the other vehicle,

so those photos always come in handy, in the long run.

And then lastly we want you to report your accident

to your own insurance company.

To make sure that you call your insurance company afterwards

and report that accident to your insurance company as well.

So these are just some tips from us

here at Springs Law Group,

on what to do right after you've been

involved in an auto accident,

if you ever have any questions feel free to reach out to us,

at 719-421-7141,

or look us up on the web at springslawgroup.com,

we're here to help you.
