I was born in (and from) in an endless darkness

I saw the light,

I got scared.I cried.

In time

I learned to live in (with) the light.

I saw the darkness,I got scared.

There were some days that I sent my loved ones into the infinite darkness..

I cried.

I learned to live.

I learned that;birth is the moment that life starts to end,

the part between (the birth and death) is the time that are stolen from death.

I learned the time.I raced with it.

I learned in (or with) time, that you can't compete with it, only concede with it.

I learned human.

Later

I learned that there are good and bad people,

and then, there are good and bad in every person.

I learned to love.

Then, to trust..

Later,

I learned that trust is more permanent than love,

and love is only built on trust.

I learned human skin.

and then I learned there's a soul under the skin.

After that, I learned that soul is actually above the skin.

I learned the universe.

Then I learned the ways of illuminating it.

After that, I learned that you need to illuminate your surroundings if you want to illuminate the universe.

I learned bread (food).

Then that the bread should be produced in peace,

and then, I learned that sharing the bread (equally and fair) is as important as producing it.

I learned how to read.

Then I taught myself how to write..

And after a while, writing taught me who I am..

I learned to go (to leave),

Then

I learned how to return,

And then I learned how to leave again, despite myself..

I learned to challenge the world (on my own) at an early age..

Then,

I thought I should walk with the crowds in unity.

Later,

I realized that I should actually walk against the crowds.

I learned to think.

Then I learned to think the way they told me.

Then I learned that the healthy thinking is unconditioned thinking. (Thinking in freedom, without being under the influence of people).

I learned the importance of honor (also honesty/purity) at home..

Then I learned it's dishonesty to expect honesty from dishonest people,

and the real honesty (honor) is not touching it when the sin is right under your hand.

One day, I learned the truth.

And that the truth is bitter (painful)..

Later, I learned that the right amount of bitter (pain) gives life a taste just like spice gives taste to a meal.

I learned that all living (creatures) will taste the death (one day),

but only some of them will taste (learn) living..

I do not love my friends with my heart or my mind

Whether the heart stops, and the mind forgets

I love my friends with my soul

it never stops and nor does it forget

Sex vs. Gender - Understanding the Difference and What It Means for LGBT People - Duration: 10:16.

this video has been brought to you by Robbie Ector in the double minority a

common misconception with in America today is that gender and sex are

interchangeable the constraint of gender roles has become such a commonplace

practice within Western civilization that individuals often overlooked its

importance as a result certain civilizations fall victim to problems

due to gender disparity in individuals sex gender and sexuality are not one in

the same sex is one's biological makeup chromosomes and sexual organs dictate

what makes one male or female gender is how one identifies themselves in

relation to a spectrum of femininity and masculinity many cultures believe that

the sex you are born equates to the gender that you should identify with

however this is not true sex the definition of sex is simple sex is

either of the two main categories male and female into which humans and many

other living things are divided on the basis of their reproductive functions

sexual characteristics include chromosomes ovaries testes estrogen

testosterone breasts and facial hair it is important to note that having a

vagina does not make one a woman nor does having a penis make one a man for

example many cisgender women will look at trans woman and say she can never be

a woman because she cannot have kids being able to bear children is not

characteristic of a woman it is characteristic of a female

there are several females that cannot bear children and some men are born

without testes however that does not make them any less of a man or a woman

gender gender is a more complex concept gender is a social construct that is

interpreted differently across cultures and his definition may change over time

unlight sex gender is not something we are born with it is a concept that has

been created by society is learned and is passed on from generation to

generation oh boy that was like a girl would it be okay

no way young children appear to begin to apply our gender role stereotypes at

about the same time that they develop gender identity and by the age of three

or four most children when asked questions about the activities

appropriate for a male doll and a female doll readily gives stereotypic responses

which doll likes to clean the house it is not set in stone but dictated by

socialization through parents doctors friends and caretakers the concept of

social construction of gender is important to understand because although

it may seem insignificant it has a very large effect on society and how the

world operates historically within the world it is believed that males should

identify as men and females should identify as women we find it easy to

associate sex with gender because the world enjoys concepts that are simple in

black and white however the concept of gender has so many shades of grey and a

significant amount of depth to it the way one identifies with and expresses

their gender plays an enormous part within their human experience especially

if their gender goes against the norm or what is expected as stated earlier being

assigned one sex has nothing to do with gender identity or the way gender is

expressed in order to address gender disparity one must first be able to

conceptualize gender identity and expression gender identity gender

identity is the gender man-woman cetera that one associates with gender identity

lies within the brain from birth we are taught what gender society expects us to

be it is the degree to which one identifies as woman or as a man there

are many other terms such as genderqueer or genderless but for the most part the

binary terms are used again being born male or female does not dictate if one

is a man or a woman gender identity is formed as one experiences the world and

sees which part of the gender spectrum they fall within a cisgender person is

someone that identifies with the gender that makes their sex since society is so

strong leakin instructed to make gender identity black

and white not many people go against the norm in selecting their gender identity

however when one believes themselves to be a gender that does not match with

their sex it results in what can be interpreted as transgender being

transgender is not specifically related to one sexuality separate from sex

sexuality is sexual preference and has no effect on what gender one identifies

with a transgender person may identify as homosexual heterosexual or even

asexual the key to understanding gender identity is knowing that it is

psychological while many of us may not see a trans individual as a man or a

woman based on their physical makeup we must realize that the concept of male or

female has nothing to do with that it is when one knows themselves to be based on

how these genders have been constructed and it is important to respect that

gender expression gender expression is the degree to which you can identify or

express yourself as masculine or feminine or somewhere in between this

can fall with individuals that are more butch hyper masculine hyper-feminine a

tomboy etc RuPaul constantly states you know you're born naked and the rest is

drag the statement means everything you put on from your clothing hair and

makeup our socio-cultural choices that you were taught to make so in essence we

are all performing what we are taught to be a good upstanding social citizen in

terms of what a man or a woman is or ideas a masculine or feminine once a

doctor determines that we are male or female our parents and caretakers

immediately begin to socialize us into the appropriate gender roles a boys in

nursery may be decorated blue with pictures that are symbolic of popular

sports while a girl's nursery may be decorated pink with cute stuffed animals

if one was to go to a birthday party or a little boy they knew nothing about

they may buy him an action figure or a football and if they are in the same

situation for a girl they might hurt by her a doll or clothes to dress up in

there are no law set in stone that established either way of thinking is

correct it is a socialized belief passed down

from one generation to the next is different across cultures and America

it may be strange for a man to wear a dress but you can go to parts of

Europe's where it is seen is the symbol of masculinity gender expression also

has nothing to do with one sexuality if a man or a woman's gender expression

goes against what is expected to out of them it doesn't necessarily mean that

they are homosexual they want to say oh he must be gay they want to say oh he

must be transgender and what I'm saying is I think at the very basic level we're

saying accept us for who we are throughout life if he is gay if he's

transgendered whatever it is we will accept him and love him for who he is

and we want the world to do the same being able to understand gender

expression is important because it allows for individuals to express

themselves freely without the conservative constraints of what is

considered to be the social norm how is it problematic the only way to fight

ignorant is with education for years gender disparity has been a large issue

within Western civilization through education about the concept of gender

more individuals we will be able to use their knowledge to empower the masses

and promote diversity instead of oppressing and condemning others for

deviating from social norms gay and trans individuals have been under attack

in this country time and time again due to the simple fact that many do not

understand the concept of gender the problem is growing immensely over 100

trans individuals have been killed in the past five years gay people have been

bashed and attacked time and time again year after year a while ago a young

black male named Andrew Caldwell gave a testimony about being able to convert

from homosexual to heterosexual in his speech Caldwell stated I'm not gay no

more

the pastor disarming them preach I got something for all these homosexuals just

walking around here with your pocketbooks tight pants and your bowties

and you're walking like a girl they essentially tagging eyes what it means

to be a woman and the woman in the crowd were jumping with excitement without

even realizing what these men were truly say wearing purses putting on makeup and

speaking softly became associated with demonic behavior so not only was this

predominantly black church condemning homosexuals they were inherently

condemning feminine behavior as well so it was not only a gay issue but it was a

gender issue as well it is clear that those giving the sermon do not

understand that gender is a social institution and have views that are

deeply rooted in patriarchy the world became more educated about how gender

works within society the individuals like Caldwell wouldn't be pressured into

feeling self-hatred for who they really are so to review sex is what we are born

male or female gender is the state of being a man or woman based on concepts

of masculinity and femininity that have them be created by society it is

important to understand this difference between sex and gender because the

ignorance of the difference between these two concepts is the root of gender

disparity and unjust treatment of the LGBT community if you've learned

something today please give this video a like and subscribe if you have any

questions or comments I look forward to continuing the conversation below

'I'm redefining what it looks like for a queer person to be in a hetero relationship': Miley Cyrus - Duration: 10:20.

'I'm redefining what it looks like for a queer person to be in a hetero relationship' Miley Cyrus discusses

Miley Cyrus has discussed her recent marriage to Liam Hemsworth, saying it's far from 'old-fashioned' and is actually, 'new age.

The 26-year-old told Vanity Fair: 'We're redefining, to be f***ing frank, what it looks like for someone that's a queer person like myself to be in a hetero relationship.

She said: 'What I preach is: People fall in love with people, not gender, not looks, not whatever. What I'm in love with exists on almost a spiritual level.

It has nothing to do with sexuality.gender is a very small, almost irrelevant part of relationships.'. The hitmaker said she is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and believes sexuality and gender identity are completely separate from partnership.

Sharing some of the racier snaps from the photo-shoot to her Instagram -barely covering her cleavage in risqué ensembles in the desert-surrounds - she also told the publication: 'I wore a dress on my wedding day because I felt like it, I straightened my hair because I felt like it.

'But that doesn't make me become some instantly "polite hetero lady. Miley and Liam, 29, married on December 23 at her Tennessee family home, contrary to initial speculation that they were planning to wed in Liam's native Australia.

The home is worth USD $5. 8 million (AUD $8. 2 million) and is located in Franklin,. The singer wore an ivory Vivienne Westwood gown which is thought to have cost £8600.

Miley and Liam met on the set of their movie The Last Song in 2009, but have endured an on-off romance over the years. They first got engaged in 2012, but the engagement was over in September 2013.

Before Liam became her husband, Miley would call Liam her 'survival partner. In 2015, Miley was linked to model Stella Maxwell, 28, after they were seen out together. A month later, Miley shared that she was pansexual – and single.

Liam and Miley rekindled their love for good two years ago and after moving in to one another's homes, they got engaged for a second time. She has previously said they already felt married as they have 'worn rings forever.

The couple married in December, putting a positive end to the year which saw her Malibu home burn down in the Californian wildfires.

Miley said that a part of her is a never-satisfied artist who gets bored easily, but she says that now, she has a home base of calm and peace she can return to.

She also told the publication that she used to record music at the Malibu house which burned down, when it was owned by a producer named Matthew Wilder.

After Miley and Liam split, he bought the home, not knowing about the history and was shocked to see Miley's plaques being shipped out.

In 2016, Miley spoke about her sexuality in an interview with the Independent, in which she admitted her first relationship was with a woman. She said: 'I didn't understand my own gender and my own sexuality.

'I always hated the word "bisexual" because that's even putting me in a box. I don't ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl.

Also, my nipple pasties and s**t never felt sexualised to me. My eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade. My first relationship in my life was with a chick.'.

Miley started a charity called the The Happy Hippie Foundation, in late 2014, a non-profit dedicated to helping homeless and lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender (LGBT) youth.

What we Learned from Michelle Obama's Career Change: Part 1 | 9 to Alive - Duration: 6:41.

We all know that Michelle Obama did a great job with charities during her time

at the White House but did you know she left her highly paid job as a corporate

lawyer to work for a non-profit years before being the First Lady? Let's look

at how and why she did it!

Ciao! It's Bruna here and with the Dream Team

at CharityJob we help you turn your 9 to 5 into 9 to Alive! So what inspired Michelle Obama

to change her career and what steps were involved in finding the right one? In

part one of this miniseries we look at Michelle's journey as she puts it in her

best-selling book, 'Becoming'. We'll examine Michelle's journey and how she

discovered the right path for her and how she managed to align her career with

who she is. Stick around for part two so you will learn how to do the same. Here's

a little bit of background, Michelle grew up in a loving family in

one of the poorest areas, the South Side of Chicago, with all the difficulties

being young and black in the 70's involved. But far from feeling

discouraged, she was strong-willed and eager to prove

her worth. So she worked hard and secured her places in Ivy League universities

such as Princeton and Harvard, taking on huge student loans. No surprise, right

after Harvard she became a highly paid and successful lawyer in one of the top

firms in Chicago. Living the dream, right? No. Not really.

It looked like the perfect life from an outside perspective, but that's not how

Michelle felt. The problem was she was so laser-focused on proving her worth and

achieving her goals that she forgot herself along the way. That's how she

puts it in her words during Oprah Winfrey's interview. [Michelle] I became a box

checker, I became someone who understood that there was payoff for effort and I

enjoyed that just like, 'what do you want to be when you grow up?', 'I want to be a

lawyer', 'well that sounds good'. And I responded to the reaction that I got

without thinking about who I was and even knowing

I had the write to think about it. So I went through much of my life until I

became a lawyer checking boxes. Get good grades? I can do that. Check. Apply to the

best schools in the country? Get into Princeton?

Check. Get there, what's your major? Let me do something that's gonna get me good

grades so I can get into law school, I guess?

Did it, check. Got through law school, check.

I was checking boxes and not thinking about who I was gonna be and in the book

I talk about some of the things that made me wake up. [Bruna] The truth was all

Michelle wanted to do was to make a difference, she wasn't aware of it right

away. It took the loss of her Father and the

constant questions from her boyfriend about her deep aspirations to realise

she wanted to use her education, her experience, and her perspective, to make a

positive impact. She discovered that the best way to do this was to work for a

non-profit now imagine this you're nearly 30 you're a highly paid lawyer

you have six hundred dollars to pay every month into your student loans on

top of your other bills, you haven't bought your flat yet, you're on the edge

of starting a family, and your husband who carries the same debt doesn't earn much

because he too doesn't fancy to be a corporate lawyer. Now, would you take that

jump into the unknown? She did. And here's how she turned her 9 to 5 into a

true 9 to Alive career. Step number one: she had to admit to herself that she

hated her job, and that was the most difficult part. But as she came to

understand, 'you have the right to change your mind, oh gosh yes'. Step number two:

she had to understand who she wanted to be, and how she wanted to impact the

world. So she pinpointed all the causes she was

interested in, like teen pregnancy education, black self-esteem and voilá.

Direction set. Step 3, she networked and sent CV's to all those who could give her

advice on how the nonprofit sector worked, what careers were available and how

people got them. And that started an inspiring chain of reactions that

landed her in what look like custom-made roles where she

could make use of her experience, her struggle, her education, her perspective

and it didn't happen by coincidence. And here's is an important lesson, bringing who

you are into what you do requires that you know yourself so well and that you

only follow up what we truly resonates with you. Step 4:

she went to those interviews not only to answer questions, but also to examine the

environment and to check that it would resonate with her and here's another

important lesson, to feel truly fulfilled you need to find a place of work that

makes use of all you have to offer, ensure you base your research on this

principle so you don't risk caging yourself in. Step 5:

she got rid of all the unnecessary expenses in order to be able to afford a

lower salary. Now let's investigate that properly, is it true that a more virtuous

job equals low salary? During her job search Michelle was offered a role as an

Executive Director at Public Allies, an exciting new startup devoted to training

talented people to become leaders of nonprofit organisations. How cool is that? But

with a family to raise at that point Michelle simply couldn't afford a lower

salary. Did she turn the offer down? No. She negotiated! She openly shared her

concerns about her debt, and guess what? They managed to secure extra funding to

bring her on board. You see, you get the ball rolling and things unfold. Last

lesson here, know your worth. If you're not happy with the salary offered prove

you are the best for that role, and be prepared to negotiate. And here's a

question for you, do you know your worth? Are you confident enough to negotiate?

Let us know in the comments below. In part 2 we are going to turn Michelle's

experience into action points for you to follow. Don't miss it! And if you want to

explore how you can follow in Michelle's footsteps, check out all the not-for-profit

roles available on CharityJob, the UK's biggest job site specialised in the

not-for-profit sector. Subscribe to our channel so you won't miss any tips on

how to turn your 9 to 5 into 9 to Alive. See you in the next

WHAT I EAT IN A DAY » Vegan, Easy, Realistic + Recipes - Duration: 5:55.

Hey guys, welcome back to Simple Happy Zen, its Vera and for this video today

I thought I would do something different and show you what I eat in a day. Since I always enjoy watching these videos for

inspiration. I thought it'd be fun to make one myself. I eat very differently every day

So for this video, I recorded everything that I ate yesterday and that's probably very different from what I'm having today or tomorrow

I didn't leave anything out. My diet is very easy and simple and down-to-earth

I don't really like those complicated meals that take hours of planning

So let me know what you think in the comments give the video a like if you enjoyed it

I really appreciate it and let's begin

So I started my day with a bowl of oatmeal and I make it differently every time depending on what's in my kitchen and

Also a glass of water which is what I try to start every day with but I still forget about half the days

During the morning, I had a few more glasses of water and some tea, this was green tea. And then at 11:00 a.m

I had a snack, and it's called Onbijtkoek. It is a typical Dutch thing

It literally translates to breakfast cake, but it's not cake and we don't have it for breakfast either

It's kind of like gingerbread. It's really spicy. It has cinnamon and nutmeg those kinds of spices and it's super delicious

I don't have this too often because it does have some sugar but every once in a while

I really like it and I have it with vegan margarine

Then at 1:30, I had my lunch and I made a super delicious

Spicy hummus sandwich. We Dutch people really love our bread and that's what I had today as well

For dinner, I had this eggplant and chickpea curry and this is actually a recipe from Madeleine Olivia

If you don't know who she is, then I highly recommend checking out her channel

She has amazing vegan recipes and this one is just great as well

After dinner I had this fennel tea and decaf coffee

Later that night. I had a snack of two tangerines and some nuts with raisins and the nuts were unprocessed and unsalted

During the evening. I also had more chamomile tea and more water.

Over the course of the day I also took my supplements

I wouldn't recommend these for everyone but I noticed that I feel best when I take these supplements to complement my diet

What activities are you doing this weekend? | Elementary Lesson | ChinesePod - Duration: 15:59.

Hi, everyone! Welcome to this episode of ChinesePod.

I'm Alice.

And my name is Harry.

Today, we're gonna be talking about the weather,

and whether it permits to go for a hike.

Yeah, Harry, it's Friday, how's your day?

It's going good, but I'm really thankful it's Friday

- 'Coz you know what that means? - The weekend?

Aha, and you know I have this big plan

to go to my friends down south for this big hike.

Oh, that sounds cool.

Aha, so if the weather permits,

you are welcome to tag along if you want.

Oh, I wish I could,

But I got other plans, sorry for this time.

Ya, you know I'm refurnishing my house?

Oh well, whatever floats your boat.

Today's dialogue is not about refurnishing your house,

but about hiking.

Yeah, today's dialogue is all about

perfect weather for hiking.

Let's hear the dialogue. Let's do it.

Interesting dialogue.

Shall we do some translations, Alice?

It is. Let's see one by one.

Let's do it.

It's perfect.

Let's have a detail look at the dialogue.

Sure, at the beginning of this conversation, Mick says

Now, at the start of that sentence,

" 这些天 "...Could you explain that, Alice?

is a plural form in Chinese which means several/a few.

And " 天 " is the day.

So all together - 这些天 which means these days.

这些天, Okay.

- So you see these books over here. - Yeah, sure.

Could I say " 这些书 "?

Oh, perfect, Harry, you got that.

Yes, awesome.

Then, Mick made a recommendation:

Shall we go hiking this weekend?

And the phrase there, " 周末 ", what does that mean?

周末 means the weekend.

If we break it down, " 周 " means the week;

and " 末 " means the end.

So all together, 周末 means the weekend.

Perfect. And you can also say " 星期 ",

which also means week.

Yeah, so we can say " one week " as

or

Two weeks would be

or

Easy. 徒步 means hiking.

So if you want to ask your friend -

Shall we go hiking this weekend?

At the end of that sentence, " 怎么样 " means

Shall we do something?

Exactly, so for example:

Shall we go eat some food?

Yeah,

Shall we go and grab something to eat?

I am hungry.

Yeah, don't eat too much. You need to keep fit.

Yeah, on the weekend, I do have that

Then Lily says:

It's a turning point.

Uh huh.

Let's learn it also by breaking it down.

So let's put them together

Weather forecast. You got it.

So if the weather forecast says 有雨, it means has rain.

So that means...can I still go on my hike?

I don't think so, honestly.

It will just be a little muddy.

No one likes that, Harry, come on.

Alright then. We'll see. Then Mick asks:

So let's break that down.

So we can learn that

So altogether - Which means -

Now, there's an interesting point in that sentence.

Can we touch on that, Alice?

Sure. Object A is the same as Object B.

Let's make an example.

Here, Object A is 星期天的天气,

is the same as B -

星期六的天气

So basically,

As A the same as B.

- Yes, let's make another example: - Uh huh

So we say that again:

Your backpack and my backpack is the same.

Yes, then Lily said:

Which means let me have a see

let me look/ let me check it out.

means

It's a verb.

means

So

means if it rains.

It's an assumption.

Let's look at another example:

It's short for

There's no way, I can't do it.

So there's another interesting point at this sentence.

It's a comparison.

So basically, the language point here is

In this case, the adjective is

So A is hotter than B.

Yes, that's true. Let's see another example:

And there, we'll go on the opposite, the reverse of

It will be...

Absolutely. For example, we say

Continuing the dialogue...

Here,

晴 means sunny

天 means day

- yeah, we just learned about it, remember? - so together... ok.

Exactly.

Aha, so if we use the sentence pattern,

We can say the perfect size.

For example:

So together... It is...

Not big, not small

Now, Alice, 不 is a fourth tone?

Yeah, normally we pronounce it as a fourth tone.

So what's going on here at the start?

Oh, if 不 is following by another fourth tone character,

then we will change both tone to the second one.

Second tone? Yes.

So it becomes 不大

You are right.

Awesome!

刚刚 which means just/exactly

So here, it says

Just the right temperature for hiking.

So it's kinda like the Goldilocks climate?

Isn't it like the children's story? Just like the children's story. Yeah.

So let's review the language points we've learned today.

The first one being

A is the same as B

So, in the sentence, we have...

Let's make another example:

Definitely. Here, if you want to say

Then in Chinese we say

Here, 不 means not.

So if I want to say my umbrella

is not the same as your umbrella.

In Chinese, we can say

Oh, cool. And our next one is

In the dialogue, we have just heard

We can also say

The last language point of today will be

Now let's have another listen for the dialogue.

Wow. that's all for today.

Awesome guys! Thanks for watching ChinesePod.

And if you wanna hear about

my mountain hike this weekend,

better come back next time.

Hope you enjoy it, Harry.

Me too. 再见。

Bye, 再见.

What is a Disney Magic Band? Walt Disney World 2019 Tips! - Duration: 15:40.

hello everyone welcome back to Coral joy travel I'm so glad you're here in

today's video we're going to be talking about magic bands stay tuned so as you

can see I have some of my magic bands here like a little garland yeah

magic bands what are magic bands how do you use magic bands are they safe to use

these are questions I get asked frequently and I'm going to use this

video as a vessel to tell you everything you could ever want to know about

Disney's Magic fans in Walt Disney World if this is your first time finding my

channel hello my name is coral I own a travel agency coral joy travel and we do

specialize in all Disney destinations we love selling Disney vacations so if

you're interested in one I do have a link in my description box below that

you can fill out a form and one of the team members on our coral joy travel

team will help your family out so magic bands are pretty magical they do

basically everything but tell time and let me say I wish I do wish they told

time that would make it easier because often when I am down in Walt Disney

World wearing my magic band on my wrist I also have on my other wrist my watch

this is one of my most recent magic bands I am an annual pass holder and I

actually have a sticker on this band

it's like a sticker decal that goes all the way around it kind of looks like

spaceship earth so magic bands are powered by magic no they're not no magic

bands are powered by something called RFID technologies so that's Radio

Frequency Identification basically they use radio waves to send and receive

information and that's how they work so if you are staying

at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you will be getting a Magic Band in the mail

and typically I tell my clients they arrive two to three weeks before your

vacation they're usually sent out about a month before your check-in date so

depending on where you live it'll take between you know two and three weeks

before your trip to actually receive it it'll come in a very plain rectangular

cardboard box not too big and it'll have all of the magic bands that you need for

everyone in your party guests staying at Walt Disney World property can customize

their magic bands to a different color and I believe they can have up to 10

characters as you know a name on the back of the magic band I'll show you

mine I will cover cover up my ID I don't know if you can see that it does say

coral joy hopefully you can see it you can customize the color and they're all

solid colors and you can customize the name on the back this is again on your

my Disney experience website on your very own account that you create that

you will have major fast passes on and you will have made your dining

reservations on because you know to do that and if you have a travel agent they

will do that for you and make sure you're all ready for that so you don't

have a travel agent please please make sure that all that set up in advance

every time you plan a trip to Walt Disney World that you are staying at a

Disney Resort Hotel you will get a new Magic Band so you can either get a new

Magic Band like you can tell I have many magic bands here right I usually get a

new Magic Band because I like it it makes me happy but you can also decline

the Magic Band and use one that you have used from past trips honestly I have

used this Magic Band a lot like I think this is the only one there's another one

that I used to but like it's the only one that I really have been using for

the past year so it's it's getting a lot of you

if you are flying down to MCO the Orlando International Airport make sure

you do not put your magic bands in your checked luggage it needs to be with you

on your carry-on so you can get to the magical express desk and pull out your

magic band or better yet even just wear it with you on the plane put it on your

wrist because that's where these guys go they go on your wrist so I want to keep

it on my wrist so yeah make sure you know keep it on your wrist with you when

you're flying or keep it in your you know your carry-on luggage so when you

get down to the magical express desk you can just scan in and the cast member

there will pull up your information and guide you to the correct line to wait

for your magical Express bus that is complimentary this is a huge perk to

guests staying on Disney Resort Hotel property huge perk they Disney will

drive you from the airport to your Disney Resort Hotel and then upon

departure pick you up at your Disney Resort Hotel and bring you back to MCO

Airport it's not fun going back we call that the tragical Express but on the way

to we call that the magical Express when you arrive at your Disney Resort Hotel

when you've been dropped off from magical Express you'll usually go to the

check-in I like to always confirm that everything is hooked up and ready to go

on my Magic Band I highly suggest that you make sure everything is on your

Magic Man that you need to find if you've pre-purchased memory maker make

sure it's attached if you pre purchased a Dining Plan make sure that pulls up

you know that sort of thing just make sure everything is on your magic band

that you have already paid for I like to also keep a like the confirmation that

Disney sends you in an email kind of handy just in case the cast member says

oh I don't see memory maker pre-purchased and you say yes I did

here's my confirmation and just make sure that everything is

the way it needs to be there have been some technical difficulties in the past

two six six months so I just tell you that to know in advance that everything

is where it needs to be when you check-in and and not have a surprise in

the middle of a trip when you realize something is not attached that should

have been attached before so when you arrive this is going to be your room key

there will not be a room key that you have to keep this isn't that great no

cards to hold on to it's just this if you want to use your magic band to

charge items when you are in the parks or you are at a resort hotel at a

restaurant that sort of thing just inform the cast member when you're

checking in that you want to add a credit card to your magic band that way

you can to do some charges now I want to say a lot of people are worried about

that safety god forbid you drop your magic band you

lose it someone else picks it up can they start going to retail shops and

charging away on your credit card no they can't because not only is a credit

card associated you know on your Magic Band for you there's also a four digit

PIN code that is unique to you so I would say don't make your PIN code

one-two-three-four don't make your PIN code 0 0 0 0 or 1 1

1 1 make it a little more difficult in case you do lose it someone might be

able to guess 1 2 3 4 do your anniversary do your birthday that sort

of thing the day your dog was born I don't know make it unique so you know we

can't figure it out it's important so the good thing to know is that magic

bands and having a credit card on it should you want to do that you don't

have to do that should you choose to put a credit card on your Magic Band it is

safe ok it is safe for you and you can create this pin code at check-in and you

will use this every single time that pin code every single time you make any

purchases whether it's like I said tail shop or if you are paying for

dinner or you are using the Dining Plan credits you will have to still put in

that pin code so choose one that you will remember but make sure it's unique

when you are ready to hit the theme parks this is also your ticket to get

into the theme parks this Magic Band you will scan the Mickey head on the top

here to a Mickey head at a kiosk when you walk into the parks and you will

also need to use a fingerprint so choose a finger that you will remember you use

every time whether it's your thumb or it's your first finger on your right or

left side just remember because you will scan the Mickey head and then scan a

finger or a thumb every single time you go into the theme parks if you're

working with a travel agent you will definitely have already done this before

your trip but make sure you have fast passes for your trip and so you know the

fast passes are going to be found using your magic ban so if you make advanced

Fastpass reservations 60 days before your check-in date if all of that

information is going to be held in this Magic Band again there will be a Mickey

head that you can and I'll leave a picture here but that you can zap I

always say is that zap it's not really a zap but you'll touch the Mickey heads

together and then walk into the Fastpass queue so this holds your Fastpass

information this is your room key this is your magical express ticket to get on

this is your theme park tickets it's like I said it does everything but

tell the time right it just needs to tell the time that's all we need dis

ting another thing that these magic bands will do for you is link all of

your photo pass pictures that you either get taken at one of the attractions some

of the some of the rides have either photos or videos that automatically

happen with the magic bands and it will be on this or if you go to one of the

photo paths photographers in any of the theme parks

and ask for pictures to be taken they will scan your

to pee on so all of those PhotoPass pictures will be found on your magic

band and then obviously linked to your my Disney experience account so you can

view them there after a fun day at the theme parks you're hot you're tired you

want to take a break so you decide to go to the pool take a dip in the pool at

your Disney hotel nothing better guess what you don't have to take off your

magic bands because they are waterproof now mine with the sticker decal maybe I

shouldn't wear in the water I don't think my stickers waterproof but the

magic bands that look just like a solid color like this they are waterproof so

you really don't have to take them off which is a good thing because again

don't forget this is your room key you know so you need to have you can't like

go to your hotel change into your swimsuit and leave your

magic band in your room that doesn't make any sense right because you need

you need your magic van to get back into the room so the nice thing is that these

can go on the pool you don't have to kind of hide them under a towel when you

are swimming that sort of thing I'm sure they can even go into the hot tubs

although I wouldn't really submerge it into the heat that's just me but it's

definitely fine in a pool so whether you have the water parks all day or you are

just swimming at the hotel pool you don't need to remove your magic bands

they are waterproof so the magic bands that come with a Disney Resort Hotel

package are plain colors these may not be all of the colors I think I'm missing

pink and I don't see a blue I see a yellow I think these are all the colors

except oh there's a blue right in front of my face I don't see the pink one this

one actually used to be pink but these are the colors they're you know they're

solid colors if you wanted to buy a magic band that has a character on it

because there's some really cool magic bands out there they do you know have an

extra cost in the theme parks or at some of the resort hotels and you can you can

or you can even buy them actually online before your trip on shop Disney's

website you can just link them up to your my Disney experience

count and use that special magic band as well so you don't have to use the one

that they give you for free but you know you can use one that you've already

purchased in advance all you have to do is link on the back of the fancy magic

band let's call them just link up the numbers and it will go to your my Disney

experience account and then it'll connect to your ticketed package so

that's that's good to know like I mentioned you can also get

sticker decals to go on your Magic Band this is the one that I I don't know I

love F Codd I love spaceship earth so this one is kind of my favorite one that

I have I purchased I think two from an Etsy shop called my fantasy bands and I

will if I remember I will leave a link to their their shop below but you know

there and I know there's plenty of other sticker decal accounts out there but you

know this is the one that I got and I know they have a lot more than when I

first started purchasing from them and they're very affordable I want to say

they were under five dollars per sticker I hope this Magic Band video was helpful

for you if it was please give it a thumbs up share it with your friends who

are taking a Walt Disney World trip especially if it's their first time and

they really don't know what the magic bands are or how to use them please feel

free to share this information with them and comment below if you have gone to

Walt Disney World and you have magic bands maybe even magic bands like I have

what do you do with them when you return home do you reuse them on your next

trips do you make a garland like apparently I do and put them on my

Disney Christmas tree that's what I do or do you just display them somewhere or

do you just keep them in a drawer I'm just curious what everybody else does

with them I'm sure there's something more useful that I can do besides making

a garland out of my magic bands or could be a boa let's just make it about what

that works alright guys have a great day if you are not yet subscribed to my

channel I do hope you consider subscribing today I will see you in my

next Disney world video, Coral Joy Travel a touch of magic sharing joy bye guys

Mesut Ozil: Arsenal hero Martin Keown reveals what he heard about German from training - Duration: 2:08.

Ozil started the Europa League last-32 second leg clash against BATE Borisov on Thursday

It was only the German's second start in all competitions since the Boxing Day draw at Brighton

Ozil has been out of favour under head coach Unai Emery as well as missing games through illness and injury

Emery set the 3-year-old the challenge of working his way back into his starting XI at his press conference on Wednesday

And Keown says he has heard good things about Mesut Ozil in training this week. "He's definitely got the quality, it's whether or not he's in the mood," Keown said on BT

"They tell me he has trained exceptionally well all week. "I think what we have to do is look at the positives he can offer and start to rebuild again

"He started four of the first five games of the season and he's only started once since Christmas

He was given the keys at the start. "Now whether he's been ill, you'd seriously question his immune system the amount of times he's been ill, the amount of injuries that he's had

"Now he's getting another opportunity, let's see what he can do. "I sincerely hope that he's got what is necessary

Arsenal need that sort of player. "[Aaron] Ramsey's sitting on the bench, they've turned their back on him

"They've got to give it to Ozil, give him that opportunity. "He will get plenty of games between now and the end of the season if he's successful

" Arsenal beat BATE 3- to go through to the last-1 3-1 on aggregate.

What's the difference? Bernardi - Duration: 1:00.

The abandonment of subsidies for renewables,

the allowance of nuclear energy and so forth and let the market rip in the energy sector for example, are

part of our ethos and our policy position. What One Nation has done

federally is

poles apart from that, if I may say so. They are advocating for the Government to build coal-fired power stations.

Malcom Roberts voted for

emissions restrictions for lawn mowers and weed whackers and things which opens the door to emissions restrictions for

motor vehicles and farm machinery and stuff like this. It goes on and on and on. It is about consistency in the application.

The problem is there isn't that consistent position and approach from One Nation.

And so from from my point of view

that's all I'm trying to do is to continually say, no Government should be not be interfering in markets,

in the main and we need to make sure that taxpayers are getting good value for money.

Cristiano Ronaldo: You'll never believe what Juventus star did AFTER Atletico loss - Duration: 2:40.

Ronaldo, who has won the last three Champions Leagues with Real Madrid, was part of the Juve team beaten 2-0 in the last-16 first leg

It comes in his first season with the Old Lady, having made an £88million switch from the Spanish capital last season

But the Portuguese star returned to the city last night in the crunch tie. Ronaldo was booed by Atletico fans after his success with rivals Real Madrid

And Ronaldo couldn't resist getting his own back during the game as he held up five fingers to signify the amount of Champions League titles he has to his name

Four of those came with Real Madrid while Ronaldo also won one crown with Manchester United

Atletico Madrid have never won the Champions League, finishing runners-up as three times

Twice of those were to Ronaldo and Real Madrid with the most recent coming in 2016

And despite Diego Simeone's side getting the better of Juventus, Ronaldo reminded Atletico of his tally post game

When walking through the media mixed zone, Ronaldo again put up his hand before showing a zero sign, signifying five titles for him and none for Atletico

When asked about his gesture, Ronaldo simply responded: "I have five Champions Leagues, you have none

" And after Atletico's second, scored by Diego Godin, deflected off Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was warned by ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno

"There was a moment in the game where Ronaldo flashed five fingers on his hand to the crowd," Moreno said

"If you're going to be that guy, you cannot then be the same guy that turns away from Diego Godin when he's about to score the second goal

"Then you have to defend. Because otherwise you turn your back, it deflects off you and goes in

"If you're Cristiano Ronaldo and you like the attention then you've got to like it both ways

"
